there was trollbox on polo where people used to say pump and dump specific coins. but trollbox is gone now.,
from basic understanding dump means DROP,
does the PUMP means buy ?
Pump means there would be a significant price increase on a certain coin and yes you would actually buy on that matter to make profits later on but just a suggestion dont always believe on the stuffs that are being said specially on trollbox because most people there do actually promote their own coin to be pumped so that you would able to buy it but sadly you end up on losing money because once you buy thats the time they will sell out. |

Don't know if this is the right forum, but what is the gambling percenatge of the total crypto-economies? I read in some ICO document, maybe it was Betkings that it was 60%. I read 15% somewhere else.
Anyone know an accurate number and statistical source?
Theres no exact statistical status on this one and talking about Betking its indeed doing good thing in the past but i cant assume that most of the ratio would be come into it. There are lots of gambling sites which i believe that surpasses Betking. If you are pertaining on ICO side then i dont have much idea about it. |

Spending money that is not already allocated for something important. Sometimes when I lost big I get mad and went on to withdraw more funds to take that lost. Most of the time I always went losing bigger and bigger. Right now I think I am able to discipline myself better than before.
Everyone is also experiencing it at first. Sometimes important money are involved or being bet when they do not know how to handle money. Chasing loses too will give you a bad streak. Instead you get your loses back you will only add it up to your loses. Good for you now that you can handle yourself very well. Whats the point of controlling yourself when you cant win? instead of trying to control yourself so that you wont lose alot how about trying to not lose at all? or even better dont gamble because you know that it wont work. It is much better for you to just continue with your saving, you might get more from the interest You cant stop anyone on playing gambling even they claim that they have self-control then it should be fine as long they know what they are doing and some people do really dont mind if they lose money as long they get the leisure that they seek but thats not always the case because most gamblers do really seek out for profits thats why we commonly end up on nothing on our pockets. |

I'm really really greedy when into gambling, i don't have any target or limit on gambling. I always want more and more profits and never stop, i only stop when i feel sleepy and want to sleep. It's really hard to control our greediness on gambling, i usually stop when i lose all my money on gambling :/
Friendly reminder, better to stop gambling at all cost if you cant able to control your greed. Trust me you will surely feel the consequence later on and then you will realize that you are losing too much money. Unless if you are a millionaire then it wont matter at all . This one of the reason why we should control our gambling. The gunman actually do have a bright future since he is working at Department of Finance, but since as we all know Philippine Government is really full of corruption. Unfortunately, he got fired due to alleged anomalous transactions and Also due to undeclared/unexplained wealth. This is no joke that 42 year old has a bank debt worth 4 million and being addicted to gambling is wrong but getting addicted to gambling with someone else funds is surely not acceptable. I don't really know how will the vank recover their funds but all gamblers please gamble with your own funds not with a loan
This is absolutely no joke. And yes his debt with the banks may have also contributed to him mentally that's why he do this crazy things. As far as the bank is concern, this is considered lost already. For all we know more people has bigger loans than that and the banks will just simple ignored them. Because they can easily recovered it somewhere. His gambling is really uncontrollable, and I hope everyone should take this as lessons learn and not go to situation of this person. He had killed a number of innocent people, his family says that he is not like that and that they can’t imagine that he could do something like that. This is an example of how dangerous being addicted to gambling can be. When someone is addicted, his moral values are somehow covered with the intense feeling of wanting to play. He had done many bad things just because of addiction and it had come to the point that he had to rob a casino because he is already mentally ill. This is the worst scenario that I have heard and watched about how addiction can make affect someone’s mind. His debts in the banks, the bank may not seem to care but I think that the family he left are going to suffer because of this. He actually didn't kill anybody, He just injured some of them but not that critical. Most of the deaths was caused by suffocation due to smoke and also the stampede cause by panicking people. Normally in gambling, Banks are out the picture. Gamblers in RWM do have the so called High Rollers who are known as the loan sharks of the casinos. They lend money to those gamblers who probably are losing so that whenever they win they could earn from them via interest. Investment is always the best choice when the other choice is to gamble. Even the gamblers, I'm sure that they will choose to invest. They know the capacity, the pros and cons in gambling but to be safe and have a decent way of living, they will choose to invest. This has been proven to give you better income and source of living.
Your words makes no sense at all, they are called as gambler because they choose to gamble instead of trying to be safe and invest. It is so true that first the users start to gamble for fun but when they start to lose it then they run after it to recover it and on this process they lose all investment. Then start the addiction and when one point comes that they become totally poor that time they realize it what mistake they have done.
I agree that this is the normal scenario. Then again every player is not like that. Many people do realize their losses in due course before going broke and then they stop themselves. Then they even try to reconcile and try to earn their losses not by gambling but by other legal methods to earn money. Not everyone get addicted but many of them do get addicted and cant stop themselves. They are chasing their previous losses which they hope they can win back again in some other time - that is why they keep on coming back. And once they play regularly, they are forming a habits and those habits become an addiction which has great impact to your family relationship if you will lose a lot overtime It is no possible to win back losses. In all gambling chasing losses is very harmful. You never know if the losses will really be overcome or not. Then again in most cases they are never won back and only more losses are stacked up. Hence one should stop chasing losses and accept their losses. If they accept that and also the fact that gambling is leading to more losses and less wins, they can overcome addiction and move on with life. The thing is they have lost too much, that is why it is hard to accept the fact, they are just keep on doing gambling, hoping that they could take all back all of their losses. In the most case scenario, this kind of people are just losing more and more every day they are doing gambling, just like what you have said, it would be more easier and profitable if they are going to quit gambling for real and start a new life. They cant start up a new life if they wont able to quit first gambling addiction and this is the toughest challenge specially when your addiction is severe. I used to do gambling, but in the end I regret and do not want to do it again. I lost a lot of money in a very short time. On some occasions I may want that this does not happen. So this game just rely on luck and there is no certainty even though we have the expertise and experience a lot.

No it doesnt affect but sometimes confirmation times does took soo long when using up bitcoin specially when theres a congestion on network just like on FJ you can both use Bitcoin and Etherium on playing games on the site which means its people preference on what would they gonna use. Edit your first post, you will see title of the thread than just edit it. Segwit2x is not a hard fork however there is some possibility of network split after activation of segwit on august. so bitfinex is also a scamexchange.
Their activity is quite suspicious and they don't have enough security layers so they are vulnerable to hacks. Its better to not use them at any cost. It really misleads people on reading it specially on newbies. Its not indeed a hardfork and talking about bitfinex exchange i have completely lost my trust to them since on what happened to them back in the past. They do show off their flaw regarding security and as an exchange this is should be the primary concern. |

How it is possible that in your first sentence you say gambling and superstitions have no link and yet on the next sentence you state that when people gamble then they become superstitious, it does not make sense, evidence suggest that people when confronted with something outside of their control will try to use charms or anything that could help them in this.
Since there isn't a scientific explanation yet for events that co-relates(meaning happened more than once with almost the same setup), people take that as superstition as the best possible answer. Correct superstition is nothing more than to try to link two events even if they are not really connected, for example you win a lot of money on blackjack when you are wearing a read shirt, next time that you go to the casino wearing that shirt you win again, now the person wearing the shirt thinks that he won because of the red shirt when in fact it was just a coincidence all of that happened on the first place. Yes I agree it's all just coincidence, not just a victory but there are those who believe in superstition also in the way of gambling games. Like in a blackjack game if you get 777 then you can win in that day. Its really just coincidence for those who won a particular game together with his own superstitious belief and i do strongly believe on that thing because nothing on this world can able to control luck on when we most need it. Yes its quiet low but somehow safe compared to those investments do exist online and i would rather choose this than those who offer huge returns. Even its small but you can still assure that it would be for long term as long the gambling site is profitable.
