hmm i tried all these tricks, MPT mpt , copying straps from 1500 down , even tried 1800 on these new 5700 MSI cards i grabbed to play with no luck on anything
any ideas ?
Ok, but what are you trying to achieve? You said you tried these things but what's your objective? Those temperatures are seen on 5700 line of cards which have the thermal pad problem and even had asus do a revision on theirs to the evo line due to customer complaints. I had a question for you concerning the memory speed. Does the boost clock memory affect mining in any way? There are cards which can do 2035mhz in their boost but have around the same as the one you listed above for their regular core memory speed. Now as I was discussing here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5244869Could you post your response there because I asked someone what manufacturer of cards they were using but did not reply back. Thanks. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I find that it's normal temperatures There are no problems with this model, I opened my rig and put the fans on 60% and the temperature now is 85c, completely normal, because the memory is on 95% load I tested in games and the temperatura is normal too I'll read your thread my stock hashrate is 49 max and power use is high around 140 watts in gpuz tying to get to the 56 or even 53 mhs and 100 watt in gpu z but the straps amd bios mod seem to do nothing

Thank you very much for answering. I was going crazy trying to find a way to get 61 Mhs, and in the end it turns out I'm having a good hashrate ...
Temp of my card is 46º with 60% FAN speed
I have tried to lower the core voltage with MSI Aferburner to 750mV, but when doing this the card always returns 0Mhs, and I must restart the computer to return it to normal.
Are you saying that with MorePowerTool I can lower the power without having to flash the BIOS again? Could you tell me where is the value that I should modify?
Many thanks.
No problem It's better if you watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X77N4sDXP9g Because you can understand better And I'll add this: forget MSI Afterburner, you will only use Radeon Software to set your card With Radeon you can decrease the clock voltage, the clocks of core and vram, fans and power limit If you decrease the power limit you can save power (do it slowly until you see a hashrate decrease) And with this software More Power Tool you can "trick" windows and GPU to let you decrease even more the voltage clock of your CPU, because it's limited to a minimum of 750mv, and you will probably need 725mv, reducing the power usage And yes, with this software you don't need to flash bios again, it's awesome hmm i tried all these tricks, MPT mpt , copying straps from 1500 down , even tried 1800 on these new 5700 MSI cards i grabbed to play with no luck on anything any ideas ?

I think the Nervos project is still new that's why this asic miner is bringing such rewards, once many miners forward their hashing power to Nervos project the reward will get lower fast
Eh, What rewards? I have three running right now making a marginal gain. I am spec. mining to be sure! i heard there are way stronger and efficent ckb miners out there, fpgs and shit

i bought a few and returned them, disappointing card

It’s good to see your finally coming around. BR
It took him just 2 years to see what I saw at beginning of 2018 hehe Best thing you can do is, do not buy any ASIC, boycott it, if they dont sell then they have to increase profitability of the things they sell cause if not then nobody will buy it because they already know the game. people are inherently greedy, we all want magical $$ printing machines, old timers know about the scam the new folks will never listen and history will repeat itself. just wait , once btc hits 20k shitmain amd thier buddies will sell millions of dollars in low end shovels

newbs should definitely watch this ... on the bitcoin forum smh

gminer is much faster on 20x nvidia cards

no one cares about your asic coin

Seems more stable when i play with intensites but theres an problem with intesites on kapaw
when you set it to 75 i.e -i 75 you don't get 75 perscent of the hash you get like 50 or less
even setting it to -i 90 it does only a tiny increase, Intensity does seem to be the issue with stablity , some cards cannot handle the max for long
using -i 90 stablizes the rig but its more like -40 since it goes from 10mhs a card to 3.9 lol

Versy unstable on rigs that mined eth for years no problem , some rigs will just reboot out of the blue
stock settings same thing , when i lower core way way low its a bit more stable but not much

RavenCoin still listed as X16r
i still see only the x16 raven when i go to coins on main dashboard, the pools howver you can select Raven Kapow , thank you !

i get it upload a blurry image and spreadsheets that require permission to access to drive people to your video
not even vosk will stoop this low and that’s saying something lol
sorry didnt realize spreadsheet needs password, i think i have fixed it now. You are welcome for the benchmarks, what are you getting? i did watch the video btw lol so it worked 😉

Have any of you tested Kapow (RVN fork) with a Radeon VII? I'm getting 31-32 Mh at the same settings I was using for Eth... just wondering how that compares for everyone else. Immediate profit looks good, but I expect it will plummet within 24 hours as everyone switches to it.
i have some 2070 supers on it 25 mhs 170 watts

I have found a slight underclock and a few less cores really makes the gear more efficient .
The power function is geometric so the math will always favour underclocking to some degree. But, IMO, underclocking a TR is like detuning a Ferarri, it just doesn't seem right. Neither was designed with efficiency in mind, just performance. So far 26700 hash rate at 170 watts a mixed underclock or 27600 hash rate at 223 watts stock settings. temps are 71c on under clock temps are 80c on stock. 26700 is about $1.38 a day 27600 is about $ 1.45 a day 24 x 170 more like 24 x 200 = 5 kwatts which means 50 cents at ten cent power 24 x 223 more like 24 x 250 = 6kwatts which means 60 cents at ten cent power. it is a no brainer to run it at the under clock ⏰ I earn 88 cents a day vs 85 cents plus gear is quieter and cooler 😎 the be quiet air cooler does the job Been down clocking for an hour or 2. gear was set at freq 4000 volts 1.4 hash was 27600 watts were 223 freq 3700 volts 1.3 hash was 27100 watts were 205 freq 3500 volts 1.05 hash is 26200 watts are 127!!!!! will run at this setting for a while now add you small cpu and chips set you go to 150 that is 3.6 watts at 10 cents = 36 cents unit is earning about 1.36 net is very close to a dollar a day. now this is a costly build I got a lot of deals to buy it I had parts I sold parts. I lost 23000 xmr hash and some gpus I get back 26100 xmr hash power on the old gear was more then 1500 watts 4 gpus 4 cpus it mined at a loss power on this gear is 150-160 watts 1 cpu mines no cpu mines it mines at a profit. this is a one shot deal for me. although I am really tempted to buy the big beast 3990x. Just sell everything that mines to get it. I did a youtube video which is loading really slow. You can see the build. And listen to it it is pretty much silent. So At 150 watts 26200 hash = 175 hash a watt to be fair I have tried to get good numbers on down clock. at 250 watts 27600 hash = 110 hash a watt to be fair I have not tried to get good numbers on over clock. Sorry about loading time youtube is really slow with up load. It is about 7 minutes long I am up to 94% Build is finished other then adding some feet to the oak slab and a tiny bit of wire management. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4NwHJpyERQfinally at $1 a day it would take what 3000 days or 5 +years to pay back ? i suppose you mine to hold and wait for stuff to rise. A tr hear or there to diversify cant be a bad thing but gpus give me more options like the raven fork or other things to mine , there are just not enough cpu coins out there to justify it imo. All my cpu rigs have gpus too, i say throw a few gpus on with the TR to maximize the rig power be damed, mine something you expect to skyrocket in the next few years, new forks etc whatever and just wait. back in 2013 at one point i was doing that and i have 70k or more vertcoin and expcoin or something along with over 1000 ltc but i dumped my coins low when things crashes and my gear too. Im not doing that again
