I've re-opened the servers and chain for mining.

this is great news!
should we make a screenshot of wallet with balance or how do you plan on verifying claims?
You can do that or you can grab your private key and re-import it with the new wallet I will update here soon. Grab your Lytix receiving address by going to File > Receiving addresses. Copy the address in there. Go into debug by Tools > debug console and enter "dumpprivkey lytix_address". Save this somewhere safe and don't share it with anyone. When I release 1.60 then you can import the address in the new wallet by going back into the debug console and run "importprivkey your_lytix_private_key" Your previous balance and the bonus 2500 LYTX will be in there at start.
Either way, I will work it out with you all to make sure you get all your funds back.

Things are looking good for a mid-December launch. I'm working on the airdrop utility that will drop those coins in your previous wallets when we launch again. I'll add some more coins for the trouble in the last launch.

I've decided to retool and revisit this coin. I am sorry for the way it turned out initially and am regretful that I wasted your time and rigs on this initial launch. I've pulled everyone's balance from the old chain and will airdrop those amounts when I relaunch this next year after some extensive recoding to ensure that the stuck block issue does not resurface.
oh, glad you didn't give up! really interested on the relaunch please, let us know on this topic in the future. do you have an estimated date already? I'd like to relaunch in the middle of January.

I'm trying a few things to move past that block. I will know tonight if this will work or not. If not then I'll shut it down.

How are you going to strategize your platform to have no inflation feature? It's very tough to not be affected by such market movement. This is just another altcoin from what it seems. So there's no unique edge from others.
you are correct there - also stuck at block 14944. Not looking good at this point.
I'm going to shut this down for now. Block is stuck and I am not sure how to clear it. Please mine other altcoins. Sorry for wasting your time.

what miner program to mine?
You can mine on sssergy's pool - sgminer -k quarkcoin -o stratum+tcp://137.74.57.220:3032 -u wallet -p x -I 18 He recommends sgminer. sgminer for amd right? i use nvidia can use sgminer or use other miner? I am pretty sure you can use sgminer for NVidia. sssergy's pool seems to be doing well with sgminer. This is what sssergy posted in Discord about their pool: sgminer -k quarkcoin -o stratum+tcp://137.74.57.220:3032 -u wallet -p x -I 18 Their recommended settings: setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 sgminer -k quarkcoin -o stratum+tcp://pool -u wallet -p x -w 64 -I 18 --no-submit-stale pause Please note all of the pools are run by the community. I don't run any. If you run into any trouble or need some help join us in Discord and we can help you get on a pool that you like.

masternodes working fine as well
Belated Masternode guide - http://www.lytixchain.org/guides/masternode.html It's missing some style elements from the main page, but I will clean that up later. If you pretty much know what you are doing the Quick and Dirty section is probably what you want. As the week progresses I'll fine tune the guide with graphics to make it easier for folks to create them. Thank you for your input Lucas

How the Lytix team can make the one different than other Quark algo coins? During last two or three months, there are abundant new launched coins with Quark algorithm.
The real difference will be someone that supports the code and if the community takes off. Technically, if you look at the different codebases they are very similar. The main difference is that this offering doesn't come with an ICO or some other scheme to grab folks funds and then take off in the night. It's minable, supported, and will have continued development as long as I am alive and kicking :)I didn't release the coin with any particular use case in mind like Enterprise only, or IoT, or some other type of niche. The code was solid and worked well enough that I decided to release it. I'm working on a whitepaper that I'll publish that will give some more direction to the coin and where I'd like to take it. I very much appreciate your interest and opinions as we move forward.

definitely usefull, thanks for sharing the look of the main one is interesting. Have you considered trying to list on Cryptobridge? not sure if they accept Quark algo already. premine: 0.53% of supply seems reasonable compared to many other projects we see around. would love to hear more about your plans for this project. I've put in for a few exchanges, but some of these require listing on one of the coinmarket sites, which also requires a listing, etc. Lots of forms and rabbit holes for sure. The goal is to use the premine money to fund coin growth, exchange fees, development help, etc. I'm working on the whitepaper now and will publish it soon. I agree that Cryptobridge is a good site. I'd love to get on there when we get our coinmarket cap site listed. Good thing is folks are able to mine and generate coins, network is stable, and confirmations are fast and going through. I'm happy that it got off to a good start. Thank you for checking us out! thanks for clarifying any chance you can post a masternode guide before the whitepaper? It must be simpler to do. and may help the linux noobs around. (will try to improvise something here, let's see if I suceed) EDIT: just saw you posted it on discord thanks Yes, I will post it to the site as well. I'm working on that now.

The site has very little information about the project. I would like to see a full-fledged white paper, information about the team. I think that you will take into account the wish.
I totally understand. I plan on getting the whitepaper out this weekend and give you all more information about the effort. Currently the team is just myself. That will probably change if the community grows and expands. Good to know that you are not running an ICO here as you are a one-man team as of the moment. Otherwise, you will receive negative criticisms from the community, as they will think that you will just pocket the money or dump your coins. So I'm seeing here that there's no rush in things as you are not dependent to anybody or need to be pressured by investors because it's up to them, if they will mine your coin or not. Good luck! Thank you for those kind words. I'm working on the whitepaper now and will publish as soon as it is peer reviewed and ready. I agree and wanted to release a quality product that could be useful. I'm certainly not interested in pumping and dumping, ICOs, and all that other nonsense. This forum is just flooded with that sort of activity. The team will grow over time from the community. No rush, just take time to do it right

Thank you for running that through. We should have some block explorers and whitepapers available soon. Some community folks are plugging away at it and I am as well. We'll update here and the ANN when they are available and the whitepaper is published. I do apologize for the lack of info that is normally on most announcements. Mainnet went live and was tested, so I wanted everyone to be able to jump in and mine before it got too much further down the road. If there are any other items we need to produce or you all would like to have let me know here or on the discord channel and we will add them
EXPLORER?
We now have 2 explorers: http://www.lytixchain.org:8001/#/http://testpool.info:3001/

sssenergy has set up a pool - http://137.74.57.220/getting_started
explore EXPLORER?
Working on it - chain was live, so I wanted to get this out to the general public before we got up to a higherblock count. We had some folks watching github and they've been gracious to help get the chain started. I'll update it once I have the explorer up
