81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do supported payment options affect your choice of an online casino ? on: June 06, 2018, 04:23:30 PM
One should always check that the payment option you are going to use is supported on that casino. Otherwise you will not be able to deposit money there and gamble. Do supported payment options affect your choice of an online casino ?

If by payment options you mean the various cryptocurrencies that casinos operate with, yes, it does matter a lot as gamblers tend to play around with stable coins rather than the risky ones. I'd rather prefer playing with Bitcoin on a reputable casino than on an untrustworthy casino offering some shining bonuses so yeah, the choice of casino is definitely influenced.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 1 Million Tx/Second !! on: June 06, 2018, 02:58:29 PM
Ethereum was indeed the biggest breakthrough after Bitcoin and it has never failed to impress ever since. The best part is that they realise what needs to be done next and successfully go through with it, be it network development, faster transactions or supporting newer things. Being able to process a million transactions per second is just another huge milestone in Ethereum's success story.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Is It Possible that The Moslem Countries Can Accept The CryptoCurrencies System? on: June 05, 2018, 05:49:53 PM
What's your opinion?

Religion shouldn't even be linked anywhere remotely close to the economy of a nation. We live in the 21st century and modernisation has taken the entire world to a whole new level. A positive upgrade is always welcome under most circumstances and in this case too.
So yeah, moving on from barter system to currency in coins and notes, cryptocurrencies could be the modern day economic game changer for any country.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: will really the bitcoin and all alts go like last december..? on: June 05, 2018, 03:04:02 PM
will really the bitcoin and all alts go like last December..? as we can see 10X down every coin when compared to december-2017 price..

Last year had much more promise of a surge than this year seems to be having and yet you can never count out the possibility of a bullish run in the latter half of the year. All we can do is wait and watch as things unfold rather than jumping the gun, given the potential of the crypto markets.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if every country has its own crypto currency on: June 05, 2018, 04:03:46 AM
Certainly isn't possible with so many nations already standing up against cryptocurrencies. Expecting every country to pull off a Venezuela is as good as a daydream.

In the case something along the lines actually happens, the crypto market would be topped by 'national' coins backed by resources of the respective countries and the projects we are witnessing today at mass, might get sidelined real hard.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effect of Crypto in FIFA world cup . on: June 03, 2018, 05:59:40 PM
Don't expect too much of progress with the FIFA world cup around the corner other than for the betting related coins to rope in new users and investors alike. This is kind of a like a pause period where everyone takes a break and enjoys a few good games of football.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin too volatile for payment, but what is the problem ? on: June 03, 2018, 04:53:17 PM
I read some criticism around Bitcoin, because is too volatile, but this is the reason for the success of this crypto ( and others), imo

I just can't see a clear disadvantage on being too volatile, something that could make ppl loose interest on Bitcoin. I would like to hear opinions on that.

Big companies like Microsoft and Steam, among others, opted out of accepting Bitcoin mainly due to volatility concerns. The constant fluctuating value means an everlasting plus or minus at any given point of time, and it would be a big headache assigning resources just for the sake of monitoring this.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: June 03, 2018, 07:11:45 AM
I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?

Considering what happened to the most widely used Ethereum web wallet MyEtherWallet and how it was done, there is always a chance that vulnerabilities in the internet could be exploited to hack and gain access users' coins.

Yet, the benefit of doubt could be handed over to all the wallets mentioned in your post as they're desktop/Mac clients and not web wallets. Then again, one of them i.e Electrum is known to have a history plagued with vulnerabilities.

Unique idea to pay per click but I don't see it working out for the participants as clicks could be coming at random as even the best of posts wouldn't mean maximum clicks. I'm interested as long as you can escrow funds with a trusted user.
91  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: THE SCAMMER Guinness world record on bitcointalk 1 man 1000 accounts 150k+ usd! on: May 23, 2018, 02:16:45 AM
How is it even possible to login into 200 of them without losing your mind ?

It is something called 'greed' that drives this sort of madness and no matter how hard they try to quit, they eventually end up coming back just for the monies being offered.

The whole site should be in the Guinness book of records as the most likely site to get scammed in the world.

Nah, I would straight up hand that place to Sythe. With all the available resources here (escrow, middleman services) it should be unlikely that anybody should be getting scammed unless of course they decide to go first in a trade.

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH - Bitcoincash FOMO start again on: April 23, 2018, 05:55:13 PM
Let us not forget that Bitcoin Cash was a hard forked coin and originated from nothing. Although it had a good past few days and breached the thousand dollar mark once again, it could crash back to the ground at any point of time because of its lackluster growth over the years and also because of devs who never came clean with premine and criminal accusations.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin sidechains will render altcoins obsolete on: April 23, 2018, 05:22:31 PM
What's your opinion on this? Will Bitcoin sidechains render altcoins obsolete? Or will altcoins co-exist with BTC sidechains?

Altcoins will not cease to exist but continue to co-exist with whatever Bitcoin is bringing to the table. Lets not forget that Ethereum came up with concept of smart contracts and DApps and we can never count it out. Other coins also have their distinct functionalities with respect to their own chains.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL( Indian Premier League) Prediction Thread, 2018. on: April 23, 2018, 04:24:43 PM
-Gautam Gambhir won the toss and elected to chase against Kings XI Punjab (good decision IMO).
-Chris Gayle rested. He's not playing today's match.
-Right now, KXIP's score is 62/3 in 8.4 overs.

This match seems to be going in Delhi Daredevils favor. They seem to be winning this one.

Delhi's first home game this season and they came in as big favourites when it was announced that Chris Gayle would be rested.
Except for Punjab's top order, (Gayle, Rahul, Karun, Mayank) the rest of the batting lineup has been out of form including the likes of Yuvraj and Miller. We saw the top order not putting up enough numbers and the middle/bottom order faltered as expected.
At this point, a sub 150 score seems like an easy ask for Delhi on their chase. Let's see how things go for Gauti and co.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: In Russia, the law on cryptocurrencies and mining will be adopted before 1 July. on: April 23, 2018, 04:16:13 PM
-snip-

When its Russia laying down the rules, you can be damn sure that they're going to implement it and make sure everyone abides by them. Forcing miners to pay taxes seems a bit too much to ask but when it is Putin, the community government always has the final word without any strings attached.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is actual use of altcoins other than trading? on: April 23, 2018, 04:00:46 PM
While the biggest aspect of an altcoin is its price that it is being traded at for most of the part, tokens can be exclusively used on the platform that it is being developed on. Say Byteball, it can be used as flight insurance through the respective oracle, wager against other users on sports, all of this through smart contracts.
98  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Europe Wants To Know Who You Are? on: April 23, 2018, 03:30:03 PM
The European Union would excise much less restraint when it comes down to tracking down crypto traders around its region. The nations in the region are known to have promoted cryptocurrency usage in the early days and have now resorted to laying down rules and regulations which govern trade. Coming down to ID, things seem to be getting stricter by the day as countries are trying to get a foothold into things.
99  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware of Binance!! on: April 23, 2018, 03:12:53 PM
I have read a lot of bugs in Binance.... and now it happened to me.
I can't log in to my account because Binance is not sending SMS.
I opened many tickets and only receive automatic response.

Send a direct Message in Twitter... and nothing... not a word.
Tried to access from my mobile, desktop, laptop, and even a new browser... no SMS to access...
Its been like 6 hours now.

I even lost my chance of selling my Ncash when it began to fall.... thanks to Binance

This is a login problem that you are facing in this scenario and I'm sure Binance will have it fixed in no time. Of course you lost the valuable time that you could've sold some of your crypto at a decent price but then again you can't crib about it because it's already over now. This isn't even the worst case scenario with respect to shady exchanges as many a times user funds have gone missing without any logs.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Critical week for Bitcoin on: April 23, 2018, 02:51:58 PM
Critical week for Bitcoin..Different Crypto are succeeding trading against Bitcoin, while most are failing. Expecting much this week

While Bitcoin has been recovering at a steady pace, many of its competitors have already been seen growing at a much faster rate. Not ruling out the distant possibility of Bitcoin being overrun by the likes of ETH/XRP but for now it seems like the entire cryptocurrency market is steadying up for a bullish next few weeks.
