81  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pathetic state of Bitcoin Core and why it will crash. on: January 22, 2018, 08:45:54 PM
One picture says it all.

Behold the pathetic hilarious state of Bitcoin Core and the potential and oportunity of the real Bitcoin (Cash).

https://txhighway.com/

Yea, we totally don't have a problem here... lol...
And there are still people posting here daily asking why the price is crashing... Gosh... I wonder...

ALL your posts are negative about BTC. Why do you even come here and post about BTC if you don't own any or don't see any future for it? You must be SHORT on BTC which is why explain your posts.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is the way on: January 22, 2018, 08:44:41 PM
HODL will work! Keep it past the 2020 halving at least~
83  Other / Archival / Re: [BREAKING NEWS] BTC WILL COLLAPSE!!! on: January 22, 2018, 08:43:50 PM
I a software engineer/programmer and i have found alot of proof that
tether is being sold to exchanges and that it keeps being printed.

I've found out that it basically is being printed for the sole purpose of purchasing btc with this
newly printed "money" thus popping up the price of not only btc but all cryptos.

I'm working on a documentary on the whole tether scam that will have the biggest
impact on cryptocurrency and the news will be all over it. It will trigger
a bitcoin sell-off like we've never seen before when people realize that 90%
of the marketcap of bitcoin is fake printed tether money.

Tether is a big reason btc got to 20.000, if you look at the chart you can see when tether started getting pumped btc and all altcoins rose with it.

Their offline wallet and richlist can still be seen, and you can clearly see how it is being printed.

Marketcap:

Jan 1 2016- Jan 1 2017  From 7 billion to 18 billion with real money, an increase of approx: 255%

Jan 1 2017- June 1 2017 New tether coin became available:  from 18 billion - 87 billion an increase of approx: 385%
June 1 2017 - Jan 7 2018 Tether started being printed in massive amounts - from 87 billion to 830 billion an increase of approx: 860%

ALL of your posts are negative about BTC which leads me to believe that you are SHORT on BTC and come here to create FUD.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why i think BTC is a bull trap atm!!!! on: January 22, 2018, 04:57:33 PM
looks like my prediction is coming out again, i say 9k is possible on 24th january

No one cares about your prediction because time and time again people predict stuff about Bitcoin and end up getting shot in the foot. Of course if you predict one out of two things, one will come true and its possible once in a while your 'prediction' may come true.

Only fools try to predict BTC's value which is relies on extremely complicated factors at this time.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why i think BTC is a bull trap atm!!!! on: January 22, 2018, 04:55:09 PM
The only point that worries me is the last one. News can make the price go up or down and are somewhat unpredictable, I don’t see the point about futures, volume can change at any time and graphs can look many ways depending on your imagination.

Let’s see how the Tether thing ends up though, I’ve seen people defending it’s not fake money but it doesn’t look clear to me.

It does not matter if Tether is fake or real money. What matters is that there is no anonymity with Tether. One of the key principles behind crypto is anonymity and global usage which Tether clearly fails. And how exactly is Tether going to work when billions of those are issued, they have billions of $ lying around to make this happen? At the end of the day, Tether is a ponzi scheme exactly like banks, pushing out multiple times what they have in reserve so in fact its not backed 1 on 1 by fiat. What will happen is they will take the $ and invest it out and if they get jacked, everyone holding Tether gets jacked.

Hello, I received this image from a blog. I believe it is an opportunity to start mining or instituting cryptocoins.

Are you suggesting that Walmart is planning to accept crypto starting this summer? Do you have the link to the blog?
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the future of Bitcoin in coming time? on: January 22, 2018, 04:43:30 PM
I think there is calculation what is the real price of bitcoin. Cost of electricity, hardware cost,dificulty....

I think it should be about 20.000 usd in near future

That's part which people are missing out on. It costs money to produce BTC and with rising difficulty, it costs more in newer hardware and so on. Miners are not going to unload at a price cheaper than what it costs to produce and this will result in rising prices over longer time periods.

The rise we saw from 10k to 20k in a short time is totally based on media circus which resulted in millions of newbies tossing in their money along with corporate money. That's all over so the price will rise back over $20k only if there is some major news otherwise it will linger around the 10-15k range for many months at least.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 70k end of 2018. on: January 20, 2018, 01:15:10 PM
BTC will go up 20.000$ in 1 month.
Price will be 70 k end of 2018.

Thanks for this awesome analysis. Yeah who doesn't want to pay $70.000 for a coin that has higher transaction fees than an international bank wire (currently over $50), that can only process 7 transactions per second world wide, that's useless in physical shops for its 10 minutes confirmation time and shops wont offer anyway because no serious shop can live with this kind of volatility, let alone the extreme transaction fees. Yeah $70.000 for such a useless coin, that makes sense, at least, if you're a dreamer Smiley Do you want to buy some tulips ? I have some rare ones, they're red, $25.000 each you can have them Smiley

Then why are people paying $12,000 a piece for it? Bitcoin is starting to become more like gold. Not used for transactions but as a store of value due to its limited supply.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are mooning!!!!! on: January 20, 2018, 06:03:12 AM

How do you keep track of the marketcap as it moves?  What websites?

90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / List of ICOs on: January 19, 2018, 05:14:10 PM
I am looking for a list of upcoming ICOs so that I can participate in them. Are there any credible lists out there. Would be a plus if they are ranked based by users for trust etc.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold or sell it all ? on: January 18, 2018, 10:54:38 PM
You should
What would you do and why ?  Wink
I'm positive that the crypto will do a come-back within a short time.
more people invest now when it's low.

You should sell the coins right away. The price is going to drop like a rock on water. Its best to play it safe and sell out and invest in other assets like property, gold or stocks.

If the price does go back up after you sell, it does not matter you can always buy it again at a higher rate and wait for it to go even higher to book a profit again. Take the profits now while you get a chance.

As for those expecting $20k or $8k, NO ONE knows where this is going to go so good luck trying to time this market which is on both crack and mushroom at the same time. Of course if you believe in the crypto technology, just buy and HODL at least past the 2020 reward halving.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Screw that, I'm hodling on: January 18, 2018, 07:15:51 PM
I also hodl because this panic is not worth my peace of mind. I'm now down 75% on my profits and this is still a healthy correction in my eyes. Hopefully after this we will have less moon lambo kids here as they now probably all ran for the hills.

Sometimes I just wish I was smarter in taking profits and having fiat ready when things are on sale like now. I could make a freaking killing. But then I'm greedy and think it's going to go up forever. I can never quite predict the peak. But now you can double or triple your money in coins (including BTC) that just have to revisit their previous ATH. It's an amazing opportunity.

People who HODL from way back in 2012 made a killing on BTC simply because there is limited supply and growing adoption. There will ever only be 21 million BTC. The only way long term is UP!
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: Screw that, I'm hodling on: January 18, 2018, 07:06:05 PM
BItcoin failed as a payment system, LN is a joke, governments cracking down. It's game over, next stop $8000 after that I see it crashing < $4000

Because you are SHORT on BTC?
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: January 18, 2018, 07:00:25 PM
I would not think that they are the ones who do not understand about the future of the transaction so that it will definitely grow in the future. I'm very sure bitcoin will be a means of transactions in the future so I'm sure the price will surely be more than now. Therefore I will hold it until I feel this has been very profitable.

You mentioned that Bitcoin will be a means of transaction in future. Do you think people will wait a whole day for their transaction to go through and that too after paying huge transaction fees? Our lord and savior will be the lightning network if Bitcoin is to be truly be used for transactions.

95  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM STILL HODLING on: January 18, 2018, 04:55:42 PM
This will be extension of this legendary topic:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=375643.0

So why are you HODLING and WHAT ?

 Grin

Limited supply and history in the making. HODL always!
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC fall again within a few days? on: January 18, 2018, 04:54:20 PM
BTC is now recovering, it is already at 11k $.
Do you guys think it will fall back to 9k or less within a few days?

I was going to buy some but i missed the 9k point, and now it just keeps rising.
11k seems still cheap tho, wondering if I should buy or not.

BTC is going to fall and fall and today's rise may be a dead cat pounce. Everyone is selling out to book profits from the December rise at this time and I advice to not get left behind holding the empty paper bag. SELL OUT NOW!

PS: Thanks for those selling out and allowing us old timers to buy more of the BTC at a discount.
97  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going down like mad! Why? on: January 18, 2018, 04:00:32 PM
The jig is up, high transaction fees, slow transaction speeds. Its impractical to use Bitcoin and countries are all making plans to get rid of all crypto since its a natural threat to their economies.

I suggest everyone sell out quick before you lose your money and you are not left holding the empty bag at the end.
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: $800-$4000 will be the bottom. on: January 16, 2018, 06:16:36 PM
This is the result of FUTURES which everyone welcomed. Thanks to the futures now traders can SHORT and now the game is being played on both ends not just BUY.

In any case, lightning network implementation will take BTC to the next level. Its better to focus on the technology and adoption itself than what exchanges and traders are up to.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm officially sick of the bitcoin price right now... on: January 16, 2018, 04:27:24 AM
.. so I've been watching and reading about btc technical analysis almost daily now, and I'm kind of sick of being in this current triangle.  I've only been in btc since September so I really don't have that much history, but for those who have been in btc much longer - how much longer do you think it will take before btc goes back on the upward trend again?  It just seems like a really long sideways movement.

On Dec 17th, it reached its high of $20k, and it has taken almost a month and we're still below those numbers.  What is your estimate for when we can be above $20k again and onward to what people predict for this year ($50k-$100k)?  Another month?  March?

I know nobody knows for sure, but just looking to hear about what people's gut feel is (and only from those who have btc experience over a year please).

Thanks.

Take a look at the transactions backlog before Dec 10th and since then and you will understand where we are right now. There is just a massive number of transactions resulting in slow transaction speed and expensive fees. This is a big problem right now which forces people to get into alt coin. As the transactions reduce and especially if lightning network comes close to being deployed, we can expect the price to rise quickly.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHY I BELIEVE BITCOIN WILL REACH A NEW ALL TIME HIGH VERY SOON. on: January 16, 2018, 04:01:54 AM
Am eager to see the lightning network development coming to a point where it is released. This is really very important to resolve Bitcoin transaction issues.
