To my belief, what Royse did to Yomix signature campaign is totally acceptable and agreeable because that was 1) firstly initiated by icopress in their campaign and 2) Royse followed such pattern because it is in the interest of the project to get recognised by the best participants of the forum, so there's nothing wrong if they want to take people with over 3k earned merits. I know there are very few of them but there are enough of them definitely to take such spots. And this also gives motivation to us to create more constructive posts in order to gain more merits on our posts instead of casually writing things. It's not adding any pressure as not all the spots are reserved for those who have earned 3k+ merits. I believe that the manager would love to take such participants because they have earned those merits not just because they're mostly active, but their posts are highly informative, knowledgeable and to the point. I'd congratulate Royse and icopress on taking such a step so that even with limited participants, the campaign manages to gain the best results for the project. This will also add more opportunities as there may come more projects here after seeing such enhanced results from this forum, or we may also see the current projects' management decide to increase the number of spots (definitely not the 3k+ ones as that's something limited). Wink
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 31, 2023, 10:57:41 AM
I haven't heard of any places you've mentioned where this game cockfighting is legal or played. Mostly I've seen this in India or Pakistan where they locally bet in villages on such cocks labelling them before the fight and then the one who wins, remains alive and the cock that loses gets cooked. I don't think this game will ever be seen on a casino to bet on. I've also seen some animal fights like forcefully sending a cow to fight a bull, then there are dog fights, and whatnot. I don't think any such games are either allowed by govs or available on any casino as it spreads too much negativity, stress, feeling of fear which becomes unbearable when we see our loving animal not just losing but also being beaten by the very same animal which shows that our mentality speaks for itself and that we are no more humans but turned into animals ourselves.

91  Economy / Gambling / Re: Concept of Halal Casino on: August 27, 2023, 01:15:21 PM
The title itself is wrong for the video because he was discussing about people's current state of mentality and saying that while looking at the negative side of a person, we should not ignore his positive side and talk about his negatives in front of him as doing so will encourage him to go far more away from Lord and involve himself into wrong deeds. However, if we speak about the title here, the casino and gambling part was just an example discussed and had nothing to do with his speech overall. And yeah, if you are a Muslim (or not) and you gamble, but you forget to pray to Lord during the times you're expected to practice, then giving such excuse that you weren't able to do that because you lost your time gambling is unacceptable, that's what he's trying to convey through his message.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: August 25, 2023, 09:59:05 PM

Lol
1, I'm not asking anybody to follow that.
2, I've also not asked anybody to stick to your trades as if you'll wait till n light years have passed and then you buy/sell. The thing I've said is, if your trades are in profits, it's good because then you really don't need to do anything but to let your trade run and once it's above some point, move your SL to your entry point +/- 0.5-1% profit so that you don't miss out on your entire profit if your trade backfires. Same applies to the 2nd one too. And about predicting it, well you need to learn the correlation between BTC/USD and US30 my friend, because BTC follows it badly and for that, you need to understand the mechanics of DXY (dollar index). A stronger dollar means weaker BTC (or put anything that gets traded against USD) in simple words.
93  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: August 25, 2023, 09:47:10 PM
That's right, trading is not everyone's cup of tea because many of my friends have burnt their entire capital by trading futures, worst was that they were doing it with higher leverages and they didn't even listen to me. Actually, one of my friends who was a newbie in crypto then, attempted to trade with a 100x leverage and made a big profit so he told others that all of them can also do the same, but I was aware of the risks and even asked them not to do what he's saying. But as you all know, when the shield of money is in front of someone's eyes, they're unable to see and understand the real truth. So they all did the same and lost their entire capital. So it's better to always listen to someone who is experienced in this field, and never try to be stubborn with these things.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take your eyes off from the fall in price on: August 25, 2023, 08:20:00 PM
TBH, BTC didn't reach where it is, overnight. It took years for it to even get the recognition it has achieved till date and is still being adopted by many countries. A small revolution that got sparked in 2009, took an avatar of a giant wildfire and is changing lives since then. So thinking of price, it has crashed a 100, maybe 1000 times so it's not a big deal for those who have seen it since its early stage. But newbies will definitely feel heartbroken after seeing this, however they must understand that this is a cycle and it repeats itself every single time before a new bull run begins and takes BTC's value to a whole new level.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: No choice but to use the unavoidable middle man, the exchange companies. on: August 25, 2023, 08:10:54 PM
Actually, it is said that how the trades will go depends upon the intentions of that middleman so be it an exchange or a single person or a group of people, what matters is the trust factor. Let's say someone brings you some business and you're earning through it, then I don't think there's anything wrong on that person's end to charge you something out of it or for it. The same way, exchanges are a source of trust atm which is why traders go through them to buy and sell crypto and in between, they trade their assets to make more money with it and as that service is being provided by the exchange, why won't they even charge you on the transactions you do by trading there? That's how they'll keep their servers upgraded and provide you with the best services, right?
96  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders, what makes you to make profit in trading? on: August 25, 2023, 07:40:05 PM
There are 2 ways you can maximize your profits through:

1. Increase your leverage in a single ongoing trade, but time it well

If you are trading taking 3-5% risk of your capital and the reward you expect is around 10-15%, then you can do 1 thing here. Long/short whatever you wish to with let's say $25 out of your $500, and keep the leverage to 1x.
Now, if the position is in your favor, just let it run and if you reach your target, voila you're done.
However, if in case it retraces and you're still in profit or come into loss, double the leverage to 2x and let it run.
Now wait for about an hour's candle or two and see the results. Still if you aren't in profits, go to increase your leverage to 4x or 5x max again and wait, now if your position is in profits, put an SL to your entry + 0.5-1% and let it run till your ultimate goal is reached. If it's still in loss, then don't risk the whole $25 and come out of the position at max $5 loss.

2. Increase your position size in a single ongoing trade, again time it well

Here, you keep the leverage intact but keep buying/selling at loss in order to slightly move your entry price near and in this case, you can double it just once and let it run. Do the SL thing same as explained above and don't lose more than $5 again here. The numbers are just for example, however you can try and see for yourself;)
97  Other / Meta / Re: Still kicking. on: August 25, 2023, 05:54:31 PM
Hey Theymos I'm still kicking and want my fucking original account back otrkid70 Stop being a cunt and give it back. It was because of your failed shitty security breach that i lost my account.  If not I'll piss off for another few years. Either way Fuck you.  Grin

Wow illiterate nonsense I smell here.
You're like trying to defame a person who is trying to do the best in the interest of the Bitcointalk forum and community and you came out of nowhere, started asking (or should I say "begging") for your account while insulting theymos? Well, this shows the character in you is not someone any of us would adore here at all, buddy.
Your choice of words is shit according to my opinion.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't wait for the bottom without buying in the Dip. on: August 25, 2023, 05:47:50 PM
--snip--

My reason for saying  buy the DIP while waiting for the bottom.

A; you may be waiting for the bottom and the market will recover so quickly than you less expect.
B: Because you will still make profit if you buy the dip
C: because there were even investor who bought at a higher price and you have a better opportunity to buy the dip.
D: If you are holding for a long term, you don't need to be scared of buying the dip.

thank you for reading my topic.

The first 2 points are valid, however it's not that some institutional investors bought at the highs as you said and only retail investors were the ones who got trapped by institutional whales at high prices (this is for your 3rd point). And about hodling, it's obvious that nobody gets scared at all because they've got balls of iron and they literally won't panic sell even if it crashes hard. However, I do believe that buying at some stages is good in order to keep up with the DCA strategy and minimize your losses ahead. Smiley

I wonder why anybody who claims leaking signals or trades of some big names, never discusses about our dear brother D Man's BlockchainWhispers paid signals. Can you leak their signals? He's got Mr.P, Mr.W and Mr.M with him and he's the ultimate predictor. Okay don't leak their signals, just leak his report if you can. Wink
