81  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese loans leaves many countries in "hidden debts" on: October 02, 2021, 04:34:23 AM
Anything coming out of China willl be lies and deceit. I wouldn't trust a chinese with anything. They would rather "save face" than alert the world of a extremely contagious virus that kills 2-3% of the infected population. They even lie to their own people, even if it costs them their lives. They massacre falon gong practicioners based on a lie and they commit genocide on the Uigyurs also based on lies. Never trust China. China will be the end of the world.
Technically true especially with the government being in control on almost any aspect of China and their affairs inside and outside the country, to be honest, I think that we should get used to it, they will lie and deceive because they know that they can bully people because they have the money, power and influence to be able to do this kind of stuff in the first place.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and wealth as the major religions in world. on: October 02, 2021, 03:45:07 AM
They might probably be that given how most religious organizations always asks for some sort of tithe or something like that. Plus, money makes the world go round so I agree that it's the biggest religion there is.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 10% increase in a day - why? on: October 02, 2021, 02:53:23 AM
Probably just another good day for the bitcoin market, but it must be special since it has coincided with the fact that there's some issues happening at that time that might make some effect to the market.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador 🇸🇻 Mines First Bitcoin With Volcanic Energy 🌋 on: October 02, 2021, 01:17:18 AM
Really nice that he publishes so much information. He doesn't have to do this, and he has important things to do, but the successes are great for Bitcoin. I'm sure some other countries are watching it and they are starting to get angry. Fomo for sure! The first one to come has the most success.
Getting angry isn't the right word, more like envious because in terms of countries, El Salvador is an early adopter. To be honest, I think that it's the right thing that they publish this information because it's a helpful thing that there's some transparency.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin slumps as China bans all cryptocurrency transactions on: October 01, 2021, 03:09:17 PM
Slumps is a big word, bitcoin is doing just fine so I really don't see how the Chinese ban made a difference, people has learned overtime that if China is involved, it's better if you don't panic at all because things will eventually smooth out.
86  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-25]South Korean Taxman to Be Granted Right to Search Crypto Tax Evaders on: October 01, 2021, 02:03:34 PM
20% is such an unfair number, if they're going to tax everyone then those at the lower end won't find crypto profitable since they're going to either wait and hodl for what they to grow or quit trading. Plus, why did they jump to the conclusion that crypto=tax evaders? The bigger tax evaders are their friends in high places, and they just want to divert the attention.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 01, 2021, 01:19:27 PM
I don't think there's no definite answer to that, for me there's really no physical value to bitcoin, it's kind of the same as fiat, it's the people that makes the value for those things and I don't see anything wrong with that because to be honest, almost anything valuable have the same scheme like gold and platinum, they're just metals and they're shiny.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise on Bitcoin Ban/Regulation to the US government on: October 01, 2021, 10:52:00 AM
They’re scared, very scared. Bitcoin can’t be banned, as Elon Musk said the other day, all governments can do is slow or suppress the growth of bitcoin. They can’t ban it, they can only slow it down.

I wouldn’t worry too much about regulation. If you’re a long term investor it is all just noise. At some stage they are all going to have to bend the knee to the king bitcoin.
We need to still worry about this regulations and bans though, you should prioritize yourself first before anything else, what's the use of bitcoin if you're in jail because you've committed something that directly opposed the ban or the regulation, yes it's not going to be a problem for bitcoin but if your country bans and regulates, you still have to worry because you're still under their domain and they're the authority.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are you taking the China Bitcoin Ban? on: October 01, 2021, 10:13:20 AM
It's all good for me, I'm in what I consider to be the safest point in my hodling where even if the prices are going down, I would still make a generous profit and if I continue to hodl, I will get much bigger profit.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is telling people you're into stocks "cool" but crypto is a big secret? on: October 01, 2021, 08:50:38 AM
Who said that? I don't know a lot of people that knows about Stocks, so I don't see how they will find it cool when you're dabbling with those stuff. In my opinion, people find it more cool if you make a lot of money.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Robbery on: October 01, 2021, 08:05:49 AM
What is the police doing,in my country there are cameras everywhere,a lot of criminals,even murderers have been caught and arrested thank to these cameras.No one can steal anything you in the road here,they can kidnap you yes but as I said there are cameras everywhere so this is very difficult.

I have said many times that I am a fan and enthusiast about Bitcoin and so are many others here yet we don't have fear of being robbed.Online robbery is another thing and only us are responsible for the security of our wallets.
Cameras aren't reliable, I mean most of them don't have a high definition camera so it's going to be hard to chase them of if they have that kind of outdated surveillance system. Also, the only way to prevent this kind of thing is for the people to stay humble and don't flaunt your money where a lot of people can see.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The misconception when buying/investing in Bitcoin on: October 01, 2021, 06:17:14 AM
One reason why the people I've talked to don't invest in bitcoin is because of its price. The same reason, expensive, blah blah blah. But they don't know the true form of it after the years have passed. They haven't looked at the possibility that the same increase might happen for the next years to come. Well, it is also the reason why I've stopped entertaining people that are asking about it then don't have the courage to invest since I'm done talking that much about how optimistic I am with it.
Maybe they don't have a lot of money in the first place and that the money that they have is only enough for their daily expenses, that's the biggest reason why some people don't invest, because they don't have enough money and time.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador to mine bitcoin using Volcanic energy on: October 01, 2021, 05:40:27 AM
Looks like we are now seeing the beginnings of government adoption of Bitcoin. The government of course has the political will to make things happen. Meaning they have the machinery and the manpower to move things to bring miners into the country and be able to mine Bitcoin using the country's resources. Imagine having the support coming from the government, this will definitely attract these miners from moving into their country instead of others.
Even if they have the ability to enforce, they still have to make sure that the public has to agree with what they're doing. But given that an average person is dumb and has a low critical thinking skill, I am pretty sure that we will eventually see the public embracing bitcoin.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: new to bitcoin, don't know how to use on: October 01, 2021, 04:14:26 AM
i think if you are new to bitcoin, the best way for you to learn is to do some research first before you engage into some transactions or any other services, because once you let go of your bitcoin you can never get it back and also newcomers are very prone to scammers. so equip yourself with the right knowledge first before delving any deeper
That depends, it seems that OP is being too hasty to learn so OP might not even care about learning some more, plus this is the worst thing that OP could do, ask information about bitcoin from other people that has a subjective information so it might not work for them.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto misinformation is turning into an issue for people new to the game. on: September 30, 2021, 05:02:33 PM
Usually the application of this information when a person often does not know where to refer to accurate information. While recipients of information such as beginners tend to prioritize the results of points only. Like most crypto news which only shows profit, on youtube videos, Tiktok and other social media also those who deliberately display profits but do not fully understand crypto flow.
It's not the accuracy of information, it's more on the people that are ignorant and that they disregard or don't do any research first because they think that cryptocurrency and all of it's affairs are pretty easy. Plus, a lot of dumb experienced crypto users overhype crypto to the point that it's a lie already.
96  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Widget on Android on: September 30, 2021, 03:54:58 PM
~~~
Coingecko has the same feature, mine just has a slightly different UI. I fact I'm using the Coingecko API get get the coin price Wink
Oh, that's cool. Hope you can see some success in developing that project. I don't know much about coding so it's probably a lot of hard work with this one.
97  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Widget on Android on: September 30, 2021, 02:30:05 PM
~~~

Widget is a small UI that you can place on the home screen, like a mini-app. In this case, this widget allows you to track bitcoin price (or any other coin)
Ow, so that's what it is, I don't know if you've heard about this but Coingecko has that feature if I recall although I have seen it from my friends phone so I am not if it's Coingecko that has that feature or it's a different one.
98  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Widget on Android on: September 30, 2021, 01:19:31 PM
What does a widget do? I've heard of it before but I don't have any idea what are they and what they do, plus it's scary to download stuff of the Internet right now, given that there's Cerberus 2.0 on the loose right now. But continue developing OP if you're dedicated to this project, I support you on that.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese are turning towards other means of trading on: September 30, 2021, 11:17:57 AM
These underground market so it's going to be a really different one though, I feel like it's not really something that we should worry about, plus they might make it an isolated kind of market that only Mainland China people will be able to use it.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: September 30, 2021, 09:30:33 AM
For me, it's more a currency because even if it's traded, it still is used like money, forex is mostly currency and they're traded so I think that it's not really the trading aspect that makes bitcoin an asset, maybe it's for some people but for me, it's currency.
