Dogecoin strikes back!
Doge hashrate has increased 7x from yesterday (470 MH/s as of this moment) with auxPoW feature introduction and keeps growing, on the way to reach that of Litecoin. 51% attack FUDsters can shut up now. Doge will be as good as Litecoin in hashrate or better because it can accept other scrypt pools hashrate, but it stays significantly undervalued compared to Litecoin. Expect a jump to at least 100 satoshi before or around the time of reward halvening in 2-3 weeks, and that's just the first of the series of deadly blows to Litecoin. By the end of 2014 Litecoin and Doge market caps are equal.

Would be nice to have those dividends flagged somehow to give some clarity, but I guess it's on the roadmap of the future NXT improvements.
They are working on AE v2 with improvements, hopefully we'll see more bells and whistles soon ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

thank, that's what i am looking for i want to know if there is more users from US or EU, but there's no statistics about this type of datas It's a decentralized exchange, it's a crypto, you don't get this kind of statistics ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hello, I'm quite new to NXT assets, is it possible to see dividends received in "my transactions" in NXT wallet or are they shown as normal sends ?
It's just a normal incoming transaction of NXT. But some assets distribute dividends as more asset units, those look like an asset transfer transaction.

Anonymity is good but not when money is involved and I'm not just talking about a simple runaway like pirate40 did. I have a bad feeling about this but it isn't my money anyway.
Knowing identity of Karpeles didn't help Mt.Gox customers. Personally I like that jl777's identity is anonymous, that way it's harder for hitmen to make him a target.

Can't decide whether its worthy investing in it. Has too much of a single point of failure, and sounds like an elaborate, organized pump and dump.
Invest a little, as much as you are ready to lose. Accumulate more on dips as your certainty grows, it will be available to trade on NXT Asset Exchange after the sale is over. Or sell, if you certainty lessens ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

i only pay 0.02 BTC for my stake, the first few hundert people get it for free
Really? A lot of room for dumping then. I thought 0.5 BTC per stake was the cheapest.

For BitSharesX it's important "by design" if merchants start to accept BitUSD, BitCNY, etc.
I see. Well, even in NXT Asset Exchange there is not much use for instant transactions. You don't need to rush trades to get the best deals, patience is the best virtue for trading. Perhaps instant transactions will be useful for NXT when things like NXT Poker are developed later this year? It's all growing organically, some features are prioritized, some are postponed, because there are no applications for them yet. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FtCDmFN0.jpg%26t%3D544%26c%3DTcaTNtH004KLJQ&t=663&c=MPgMN9R_6n8bnQ)

Yeah, very difficult to measure the potential of this coin. What's the upside?
There is no defined supply. More coins are minted when there is more demand for them. The idea is to build a stable currency. Hence the upside can be limited, it's not a crypto for speculation. Someone should correct me if I am wrong, but that's the impression I got reading on eMunie.

NXT is about building economy on top of the blockchain, Instant Transactions per self have no much use at this moment, what are their use cases anyway? They will be coded when there is a need for them.

I'll tell you more. Decentralized exchanges will never get any legal status, because they cannot be controlled. That's how they are designed, it's a wild west. If you want to be babysitted, stay on licensed centralized exchanges - stock, forex, commodity exchanges. Crypto currencies will never be adopted as legal tender in any country, because they are powerful competitors of the fiat money and centralized exchanges. If you are in crypto currencies, you must realize all this and not expect to be babysitted by governments. There is no investor protection in crypto currencies and will never be. Did I say it's a wild west? These are the reasons why general public will never adopt crypto currencies, because only few people don't like to be babysitted and protected, others will trade their freedom for protection, and will get neither in the end. Run before it's too late, crypto currencies are a wild west capitalism, and they are not for pussies.

Why is the price going up? Any news?
People buy NXT hoping for the NXT price to go up to buy superNET asset on the last day. Or maybe people are buying to play NXT poker on the blockchain later this year? There is a whole bunch of reasons. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FtCDmFN0.jpg&t=663&c=dR6r2_gdkccZPQ)

One must wonder what his motivation is? Maybe he's trying to save as all and make this world a better place ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Just to pour some cold water on the emotional investors. Irrational exuberance is never a good approach. You should be careful, it's all high risk. Re-assess how much you really want to invest, and invest only what you can afford to lose. Better yet, consider this a donation to the cause of crypto currency movement, don't expect a ROI out of this. On the other hand, staying in Bitcoin is also high risk.

In general, when you see development in the highly competitive crypto market slows down, it's a red flag. Well, I was watching that cryptoave exchange being developed so slow at the beginning of 2014 that it was clear that it wouldn't be able to compete with others, and the three crypto currencies (SRC, DGC and ARG) would meet the same fate, and sold all DGC and SRC long ago. No idea who is a scammer here and who is not, but slow development is not acceptable, if you can't stand the heat of fast development - get out of the kitchen. By the way, Bitcoin is also on the path to extinction for the same reason.

What's approximate date of the GEMS IPO start and how long will it last? Knowing this could help plan the budget and have funds ready for the start of the IPO.

I once a significant issue having a NXT transaction. I went along to a second forum on accident and so they basically tried to bury my questions. That is only part of the reason I dislike NXT. On the main forum though I've had positive experiences.
That's part of user experience too, but you shouldn't be confusing technology and community, not even the entire community but some of the members. You will never ever get a unanimous opinion on anything in any community, this has nothing to do with the technology though. Opinion on the technology should not be based on the community, it would be just a plain stupid thing to do, and you could miss a lot of opportunities if you follow that course. Especially in crypto currencies you will see a lot of bad actors, trolls and other not very pleasant to deal with persons, again, use your common sense when you make deals and ignore trolls.
