801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will hold my Alts but I do not care if the market goes to hell on: September 11, 2018, 04:36:35 PM

I will hold and hope this market goes to hell: It would Please me to lose my money and watch the market burn!
I am not happy and say thank you to the market manipulators who got rich destroying crypto.

Lost asset in high value can't become reason not do anything, you still have chance to cut loss and start another way to make money. Everyone know the risk and I believe many people already lost their asset more bigger than you but they don't complaint. Think again, it's never too late to fix your step. I hope you'll change your open position become cut loss.
802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market Analysis on: September 11, 2018, 03:33:27 PM
Bitcoin’s recent movements have given numerous traders hope that this bear market might be over, but there is a reason to believe this might not be the case. With the steep rises which Bitcoin has been engaging in, it is fair to suggest that it will soon be met with a resistance strong enough to cause a full rejection of price, which has been proven with yesterdays dump, but will the price drop even more?

Note that during August, Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) formed an ascending triangle, and while this is generally good activity, the way that September is shaping up suggests that a major fall is about to happen. The positive actions of September are looking like a last minute dash at trying to push Bitcoin into the $8000 range, which sadly, seems unlikely. If resistance toward Bitcoin’s price is strong, it could trigger an ABC correction, leading us into a significant and prolonged fall. Resistance could even be enough to push it down to $5000 or lower, and could therefore temporarily collapse the market.

Sticking directly to the trend line does seem to show a sharp decline is imminent. The historical data reveals that Bitcoin’s current position is extremely similar to its position in 2015, where BTC stuck religiously to its trend line. Bitcoin is also known to stick closer to its trend lines than rivals such as Ethereum, and at the moment the trend lines are not looking good. Bitcoin has always been susceptible to large-scale corrections, less so than most altcoins, but more so than most stocks and other assets.

It is not clear when exactly the correction will take place, but a fair suggestion would be that it could happen within the next seven days.

You have very good analysis but I'm afraid like we do every day, analysis is only prediction. Right or wrong no one knows but at least we have sign to do something, better for everyone. Until now many people only have psychology ( faith ) that bitcoin will rise again and from there they keep standing. In this situation you should see market reality and cut loss from every activity is better than everyday make analysis. I only follow my strategy and before bitcoin get more lower I can't buy, still waiting.
803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a required amount before you start trading? on: September 11, 2018, 02:33:17 PM
I was wondering if there is a required amount of bitcoins you need to have before you start trading? Also, a little out of topic, but is there a required amount that a person needs to be earning per month before he could start buying bitcoins?

We need money to create money but I think everything is depend on you, try with any quality asset is good because the result is depend your strategy. Invest/ trade in long term period need more money than short/ medium term period, in many cases what I say is true. Try to collect money ( crypto ) with free way and use it to test your strategy is better than enter the market with your own money, specially right now. It's just suggestion, like or not up to you.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you buy which coins? on: September 11, 2018, 01:30:27 PM
At which exchange do you buy which coins? Do you prefer to use the big ones like Binance / Bittrex? Or do you prefer the smaller ones for getting all shitcoins?

Personally I'm not registrated in smaller ones because I don't want to take the risk of losing my funds only to get every shitcoin...

First, you should know what is " shitcoin " and never buy it. Second, using exchange like Kucoin and Hitbtc is more than enough. They have simple rules to follow and friendly support to help you about transactions. Last one, just try what you need in every aspect. Risk is part of glory, practice make perfect but practice with out pull the trigger is also " shit ".
805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your greatest trading regret? on: September 11, 2018, 12:27:56 PM
I invested into some coins this January and my hope was cryptcoins are going to increase in price this year but the reverse is the case.
I can still remember some coins that I bought around $24 and $25 dollars in January and I am still holding them. Currently those coins are less than 2 dollars respectly. I doubt if I will be able to be patient until price get back to were I bought them and I do seriously regret bought those coins at the wrong time.

My biggest regret is when I start trading a year before, at that time I not set my stop loss. In my mind using stop loss is not brave person and I have biggest faith my strategy will win the battle. Four month later I see my asset is gone more than 70%, I take the wrong coin. Learn from that stop loss is important, use it and your asset will safe.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest In Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies! on: September 11, 2018, 11:24:29 AM
Title was just to bring the attention of Those who are thinking of investing money in bitcoin or any other crypto currency.

A few things you must keep in your mind before investing in Bitcoin or any other crypto currency:

1.Make sure you have read the whitepaper of bitcoin or the currency you are thinking to put money in.
2.Crypto currencies are not just for making money.
3.There are no guarantees of profit.
4.You can loose all your money so invest only what you can afford to loose.
5. Don't panic when market fluctuates because its not only you who is controlling the market.
6.Do not buy and sell in FOMO(Fear of missing out) & FUD(Fear, Uncertainty and doubt).
7.Take opinions but Do your own research before taking any decision.
8.Do not forget to check the bitcoin forum to know more about that project.
9.Last and the most important: Patience is the key.

That is risk of list, take it or leave it. Before enter market we should know all of this and understand market works, with out that never open position even you have big fund. I see it as psychology education, one of important thing that we can use to control emotion. One more thing, trust no one and believe in you.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Start Up(Tv series about an altcoin)-Will tv help people know more or scare them on: August 27, 2018, 03:08:05 PM
I don't know if you happen to know this but there is a tv series called start up and it is about a cryptocurrency and its usage in illegal activities.
Martin Freeman, Otmara Marrero and Adrian Brody is in it.Check it out if you like crime dramas.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5028002/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCf_MpXAXK8 (First season trailer)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vC9Edu0Ao8 (Second season trailer)

I thought about opening this thread in another forum but I think this is a good place to talk about the effect of tv in cryptocurrency.
İn the series the creator of gencoin is passionate about the legal usage and the good it can do but it gets worse everytime someone finds out it can be used for money laundering.I wonder if the look to cryptocurrency will change. The producers of the tv series said that they looked at this forum and used the things they found but it all  turned out like they used the bad parts.
Crypto aside it is a good tv show, but not very good for the look of cryptocurrencies.
When will it change from the things bad hackers and criminals use to something everyone can benefit and will this kind of tv shows help people to know more.
Even if it looks like it is used for illegal activities is it at least making people know more about it and think about it?

It's only tv series, don't think too hard. I believe most people know about cryptocurrency but they don't decide to take this change to change their life or income, up to them. Television/ movie is industry and they will take any good topic as their product, the aim is just money. Because market is still red, I think this is good time to watch that series.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New cryptos in the future? on: August 27, 2018, 01:45:23 PM
I was discussing with a friend the other night about bitcoins and how it is becoming popular. We also got to talking about altcoins until the topic went to the future of cryptocurrency. He said there will not be a new cryptocurrency in the future, I said there might be if more and more people gets in it. Do you think we will be introduced to a new cryptocurrency over the next decade or less? In my discussion with my friend, which do you think is more possible?

It's just opinion, the truth is no one knows that. Even crypto have similar pattern, strategy or market condition it will not guarantee will have future like currency or commodities. But if you see how much money and crypto audiences, there's opportunity it will survive. Just follow trend and when reach take profit point leave it, trust your self is better.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good News!!! on: August 27, 2018, 12:19:48 PM
ACM token from GCOX was 156% oversubscribed!!! what u all waiting for? i think it is really a bright future project XD

https://gcox.com/

Don't you see crypto market in down trend right now? every activity you do this time will make your money stuck in long term period. This is good news, I can say " YES " but in this situation it will not helping at all. We need good news from bitcoin because it will increase altcoin price. But thank you anyway.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your biggest Financial loss in crypto on: August 26, 2018, 03:19:56 PM
Recently i faced a big loss. i have invested on tezos (XTZ) recently 3200$ , thats decreased to 1500$ , in a day. unfortunately i sold because of panic.
I lost nearly 1800$. now i am fed up

thats the biggest loss i ever faced. please share your financial loss

First time trade with coin, I lost almost $ 1.200 in ADB, for new comer I should take top coin not new coin. My mistake is simple, enter market without see the trend. Depend my faith and calculation I replace my money into the right coin at the wrong time, very bad experience. See all aspect before enter market, it will safe our asset and mindset.
811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Role does Exchanges Play in Fighting Pump and Dump? on: August 26, 2018, 02:18:23 PM
Pump and dump is a big threat to cryptocurrency and this discourages many people from investing. Consequently, there were rumours that some exchanges such as Binance have means of preventing this. However, recent revelations show that such activities are happening even in the top exchanges. Do you think exchanges can do anything about this menace?

Exchange have solid team with high experience and powerful tools, there's no doubt they prepare everything from bad until the worst. As users we only need to follow their rules not complaint, they have full control not us. They will fighting with their own way, survive is the only way to give proof they have capability. Let it go, it's not our problems anyway.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whitepaper alone is not enough to make you invest in an ICO on: August 26, 2018, 12:40:04 PM
I have seen so many people focusing mainly on project whitepapers, and relying solely on the information contained in the whitepaper to participate in the ICO. It is very true that the most important document of an ICO project is the whitepaper, but what you should be far more focused on is the credibility of the project team. No matter how beautiful and well written a whitepaper may be, without an experienced and vibrant team, such project is bound to fail.

The most important research you should always carry out before investing in an ICO is the profile of the team starting from the head of the team to the least person. If the project has advisors, also research their full profile and experience as well.

With all these, you will be safer than the person who only read whitepapers before investing in ICOs.

What are your thoughts?

I agree with you because white paper is only guide to know about the project, read white paper only half, need another thing to understand project in big picture. Before invest we should know this is the project, we can see it from road map, developer team and another valuable information that can be use to sure I'm on the right place. See project as big picture not small mindset.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy more ETH? on: August 26, 2018, 06:37:22 AM
I want to buy some ETH more, but the market is too bleak. What should I do?

All crypto activity ( buy, sell, hold ) is bad decisions, even you have big money to start but market condition is very low. Eth is good but without market respond your act will create stuck asset. Suggest to wait at lest until November to buy/ sell again. This is long journey and most of us will never like it.
814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL is not advisable! on: August 26, 2018, 05:44:02 AM
In my very own experienced there is no good outcome when you HODL too much.
First of all do you know what HODL means?
HODL is used when referring to hold the cryptocurrency rather than selling it.
Holding cryptocurrency is no good because it means you don’t have a knowledge about trading, for me, you can do scalping trading and increase your holding by it and gain profit.
I suggest that all in the Crypto community must learn the basic trading fundamentals. There are free tutorials anywhere. Don’t be lazy, think big.

There's mistake with your mindset, hold is part of investment strategy. Most trader only use short into medium but only few of them use long ( hold ) because trade is short cut from investment. Trading and investment has their own risk and strategy but " hold " is hard because if you chose the wrong coin you'll get lost in big value. Think again before writing a post, sorry.
815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your opinions about today's trading? on: August 25, 2018, 03:44:08 PM
We are now experiencing a bear market and what is your thinking about the current scenario of market? Will this market recover soon? Need your suggestions can i start to do trade in this situation? If i can do trade in this market and how much probability to gain profit?

You can start trading activity any time you want but for this situation demo account is needed as first time. Need to know market works and face risk is basic knowledge you should have, with out that your strategy will fail. Probability is relative, you can do that by set your stop loss and take profit point depend your money management. Practice first and good luck to you.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC YOU SHOYLD BUY OR NOT? on: August 25, 2018, 12:21:51 PM
Well there are a lot of people in here telling that you should buy now bitcoin because it is very cheap and if the narket goes normal again you can gain a lot of profits which is true as well but there are some people that you should not buy it because the bitcoin will be replace dead some a long that line or you just hold your bitcoin so you can gain a lot of profits if you just hold it how about you? What do you prefer buy bitcoin, do not buy bitcoin or jusy hold it

Not this time, market situation is bad for any activity ( buy, sell, hold ) in all time frame. See chart history and you can see there's no significant price action, positive news and high demand. For all that we can say to leave market as soon as possible, not because we don't have trust anymore but enter the market is not the right option. think again and I hope you're agree with me.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advertising at google or promote social media? on: August 25, 2018, 11:26:00 AM
About ico project for now ..i look any ico project that use google advertising..like youtobe advertise or other website when we browsing some site.
What is advertising at google will be successful than social media promote like twitter or facebook for ico project that looking for investor?

i look ubex.com, trade.io and then cashbet coin.it was using google advertising and their ico successful..it can be the reason successful ico project?

I think both of them have powerful system but different audiences, as long you know how to use it of course. For me social media is better, for browsing google but promote still social media. Successful ICO not only depend from advertising platform but also developer team with their experience. Media social is good for people with low price ads, little time and friendly system, trust me.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will bounty programs stay with us? on: August 25, 2018, 01:17:09 AM
As long as new projects and coins enter the cryptocurrency world, as well as this forum exists, Bounty programs will run. These new projects and old projects which wish to refine their strategies need the help of bounty hunters to spread the awareness across all over the globe.

As long crypto market still standing bounty programs will stay with us, so nothing too worry even at this time crypto has bad situation. Many people already leave crypto and some people still here finish the task and hope they get pay, that's their own decisions. I can suggest you anything but please see again your goal and condition right now, decides what tha best for you and good luck.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can ethereum be bearish? on: August 21, 2018, 04:56:05 AM
Ethereum has been making some loses for quite some time now and I wonder if this loses are going to continue.  Before this time ethereum is always carry along when bitcoin is bearish or bullish but now that is no longer the case.  Today I see bitcoin making some  gains and ethereum is falling.  How long can this continue.

You ask something that people have different answer and most of us don't know what to say. I believe everyone have their own answer depend their knowledge and experience, they will say soon but when?. If you can't hold anymore just cut loss but if you can keep hold it. Classic answer for your question. Don't think too much, do what you can to safe your asset and leave market ( for now ), come back again next year.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price falls below 300usd, lowest price in 9 months on: August 21, 2018, 03:42:55 AM
A sell-off sent the ethereum price plunging below $300 on Monday, forcing the second-largest cryptocurrency to its lowest mark in more than nine months.
Ethereum had traded as high as $323 earlier in the day, but a flurry of sell orders began to pummel the market at approximately 15:00 UTC, driving ETH closer and closer to $300, a level it had not touched since 2017.
Notably, this decline has not just occurred against the dollar, as the ethereum price has also cratered against bitcoin. Just six months ago, ETH was valued at just under 0.1 BTC. Now, it’s priced at less than half that mark and shows no signs of finding its footing as bitcoin continues to gobble up market share. At a present value of 0.047, ETH/BTC is now trading at levels not seen since mid-December, when the bitcoin price went parabolic and briefly peaked at $19,891 on Bitfinex. It’s not entirely clear what drove the sell-off, which is disproportionately large compared to the minor declines exhibited throughout the majority of the rest of the cryptocurrency market.

That's reality but see it as opportunity to recovery ( buy back ) or cut loss to safe our asset. This condition is out of our control and nothing we can do about it, see the positive side, if you don't find it cut loss and leave market. Not just you we all have same problem but different strategy to face it. Never give up, do the right thing you should do and good luck.
