8041  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Kryptex legit? on: December 25, 2017, 12:25:55 PM
It might be too soon to say, but my experience with them over the last 5 days clearly suggests that they are not a scam.

I've requested 2 payments(around $70 in total), and received both payments minutes after the confirmation.

So how can you get a payment around $70 from 5 days when on their site is clearly stated that an ordinary PC can get $25, gaming $50 per month, now how can you get around $70 within just 5 days?
And seriously I will not trust installing any unknown miner to my computer just for this.
Maybe he do have lots of GPU's which he can able to generate such profits in a matter of 5 days but $70 would really require some number of Video cards. I would say this is just like minergate which you would need to use up either CPU or GPU power but in practical basis this is just a waste of time and wont really be worth of on your time and electricity. I haven't heard about this site though I haven't still research about feedbacks so be careful on this one.
8042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right ICO? on: December 25, 2017, 08:33:00 AM
These days there are many ICOs are coming like the blossoming of mushroom. But the main attraction point here is how to choose right ICO for investment. Afterall this is your hard-earned money you should properly investigate the organization business whether it has the potential in future or not. And how the team members efficiently work for the end result of the company. It is also indispensable should read thoroughly the whitepaper of the company to get at a true picture.
I agree with this observation which I do see the same thing which they are just like blossoming mushrooms everywhere which this make the job on finding the right one would really be more tougher compared on those previous years. As a wise investor we should really do the appropriate things on investigating regarding on a particular team if they do really have the capability on making a project successful not only to their experience but also into its project itself if it would really give contribution or not.
8043  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why hasn't any government stopped Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 11:29:17 PM
Bitcoin Never Stop. Then Government can not stop bitcoin because there don't have any control of bitcoin. Recently India give permission to bitcoin. from there bitcoin never stop and it will be usable every ware and every country.

I strongly agreed with you
Bitcoin never stop. It is impossible to stop bitcoin. Government  can not stop bitcoin because there really don't have any control of bitcoin. At present many country give permission to bitcoin.

Just to correct you, government has control to stop and ban completely the cypto currencies in any country. They can easily block all such website and have stringent laws if any found using this inspite the ban. So people will differ using this since it is not supported by their government.

Not totally because even government would strictly impose such new law regarding on blocking bitcoin by means of those websites it cant really be fully stopped since people can still make use of VPN which means total blocking would be senseless if people decide to make use of it but they should really be careful and do know the risk on what they are doing because once caught then for sure you would end up in prison.
8044  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Today I was charged $86 in fees on a $250 buy order with Bitpay on: December 24, 2017, 05:12:21 PM
--snipe--
Welcome to Bitcoin.

Being someone who is in the scene for about couple of years,I have seen cases like this n number of times. And you know what ? There is nothing you can do about it.Why ? Because that is how bitcoin works. The charges are not determined any third party service providers, they network is congested past few days and everybody ends up paying higher transaction fee to get their confirmations faster.
I do saw those times which fees did really soar up high when theres a congestion into the network but I would say the fees on those previous years or congestion isn't the same on the amounts that we are experiencing as of now because it is much really higher compared into those previous years and as you said we cant do nothing but to pay up and that's really a pain because it isn't really worth of on the amount you do transfer.
8045  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My Coinbase account closed, Help please! on: December 24, 2017, 03:25:10 PM
I am assuming Coinbase closed my account for sending 20 btc through Gdax to kraken, even though they gave me no explanation.
That makes no sense. It's very likely something you have done that doesn't fit in their set of strict rules. Coinbase is probably the only exchange with a verification policy being so strict, which in current days is well known.

I personally find them a bit too strict, but if you sign up there, you directly agree to all their terms, so even if you don't like them, it's something you will get effected by, and it seems that for you it already happened.

Just wait for them to come up with a reason as to why they have blocked/closed your account. I am 75% certain that it has to do with your account limitations/verification, and 25% might be them suspecting you of illegal activity.
20 btc directly on coinbase would really get their attention regarding on such transaction and as being said they are really very strict when it comes into transactions involving large amounts already. Its quiet odd for them to block you if you do know you aren't doing something illegal that would really violate their ToS which the thing you can do is to comply on what they are requiring on such verification.
8046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are there any alternatives to Etherdelta? on: December 24, 2017, 02:20:41 PM
Indeed this is a bad experience for etherdelta, but I believe with this bad experience, etherdelta definitely further enhances security and alertness ahead, other alternative exchangers that I know of OasisDEX that require MetaMask to use it, but often initially many tokens are listed in etherdelta, I still trusting in etherdelta, but I am always careful to put tokens or etherium there

For those previous users of etherdelta it would really somehow leave some scars and doubts as of now on using the site but same as you said they would really enhance their security for sure as of now. I agree on the fact that you said about this is the best exchange when it comes to new and old erc20 tokens which its incomparable into other sites when it comes to number of erc20 tokens being listed this is why I'm still sticking to this exchange but for now it would be a little more careful and don't ever leave your coins on the exchange.
8047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How many of those "hacks" are really "hacks" on: December 22, 2017, 01:18:14 PM
Not long ago Easyhash, now Etherdelta,... all atacks that are quite difficult to make without insider information. Do you think that these are really hacks?
I agree on this which there are really some hacking incident which is really hard to believe that they are completely being compromised by outsiders and as being said its quiet difficult that they can able to penetrate without those insider informations. This is why i dont really trust completely a certain site or investment no matter how reputable it is because i do observe when bitcoins price do surge up those hacking incidents do really occur which im not really surprised on what happen on nicehash recently because it is somehow anticipated.
8048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Has Etherdelta been hacked? on: December 21, 2017, 01:55:30 PM
There are some warning out there in the groups saying that ED has been compromised. Any info?
This is true which turns out that Etherdelta exchange have been hacked and I didn't really expect for it to happen. My friends coins was being emptied out into their wallet which they do say that they have still token balances on their etherdelta. Since they are still imported on the site the hacker did still able to access those wallets and I did able to see that he stole out $200k worth of coins which is really a big amount and I don't even know if my MEW is still imported on the site since I can able to access the site as of now. Just reading up recent updates would be the way for you to know.

8050  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: tax. questn on: December 20, 2017, 02:11:08 PM
Has bitcoin been made taxable? How much is the tax?
When you do talk on direct tax into your bitcoin holdings then its not possible because government cant really do such thing but when it regards when you are transacting on an exchange or any services which being backed or regulated by government then its possible. Maybe they would depend on how much are earning on would totally depend on their laws imposed. If you do live on USA I don't have too much idea how they do treat out bitcoin. The best thing to do is find a lawyer and do ask on the things that is on your head regarding on bitcoin taxation.
8051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY or AIRDROPS ???? on: December 18, 2017, 01:55:35 PM
bounty or airdrop ?.
everything is okay.
I like bounty and like airdrop.
if the rules are not difficult I will follow.
Hehehe

You are right. Why we would need to choose among these two things if you can do both? Having both options would really extend or increase the chance for you to make money compared on just selecting one. Anything has its own risk either you end up on making money or nothing its just like that and also engaging on both things doesnt really require too much effort.

Bounties are limited promotion coins that you need to work for and get for your effort.
Airdrops are basically free coins given away. I prefer bounties all the time. More valuable.

If we do talk on chances for each coin to be listed on exchanges i would say those bounty campaigns would really have the higher chance compared on just being airdrop distributed but still not all the times though.

No doubt this forum is best for bitcoin questioning and getting good and reasonable answers of your questions. 8054  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info payment missing on: December 15, 2017, 08:22:51 PM
Hello there.. my brother has a blockchain.info wallet. he wanted to exchange bitcoin to Ethereum. So, he went to the Exchange option and he put a transaction for buying Ethereum. After waiting couple of days,he saw that transaction has been confirmed in his wallet but he hasn't received the Ethereum amount in his blockchain wallet. Should he wait more or is there anything to concern here?
Thank you all
There are a lot of people who are complaining that blockchain is stealing their money. I think it is not reliable. On facebook people have given the proof that someone have emptied their wallet without logging in to their wallet. I will suggest to stay away from blockchain.
This is why i dont really trust too much on web wallets no matter how long they are already operating issues been there regarding on losing up funds on their wallet. Going back into the situation if its confirmed already then balance of eth should really reflect on your brothers eth wallet and the same as being asked above csn you show up some tx? so that we would able to verify if its really been confirmed or still pending.
8055  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am so dumb! Localbitcoins on: December 15, 2017, 07:08:11 PM
Wow, that's not even near to the total amount you buy for that BTC. Not even at it's half actually. That's too overpriced. It's not the fault of the exchange. But atleast they should check what's happening on the transactions. There's so many fraudsters and abusers on localbitcoins. They are offering Bitcoin for a very high price than any exchange offers. They must remove them. Maybe next time try other exchanges. Coinsbase is good too. You should try this instead of localbitcoins. At the current price of Bitcoin, it's at the peak right now. Maybe it will take time to recover your loss.

What do you mean not near the amount you buy for that BTC? Why would you pay 51,000 per coin ever when the market is at 17,000? Clearly I have a lot more to learn
You didn't able to get the idea or the things he do mention on here. Let me clarify on what he was saying on here. He do bought $224 worth of bitcoin in the price of $875  price which means if you do make calculations basing on the possible price on where those bitcoins being bought on $875 range then you would sum up on having a $51k or even more depending on the current price of bitcoin on the time he did make a purchase. for now if we do base on $17k price then hes buying on $66k/coin.
8056  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Lawyers accepting bitcoin for services on: December 15, 2017, 05:12:54 PM
only applies to countries with legal jurisdiction for bitcoin, lawyers are also obedient to government regulations and not all countries allow it
if they do with the secret it will violate the rules and will be affected by legal consequences, but actually the article submitted by the OP is very good progress
If lawyers did already accept bitcoin as a payment then its normal to think of that particular country is already legalizing or adopting bitcoin because same as you said if they would secretly accept without the approval of the government would really have a significant punishment or consequences. Its really surprising for this thing to happen on where even lawyers already seeing the potential and possible benefits of bitcoin.
This would be great for those people who do live on those country but I believe this would only be a few.
I am sure that lawyers accept bitcoin for payment for its services using gaps in the legislation. This does not mean that it is legal. It seems to me that in any case it is now a violation of currency laws. In my country also a lot of possibilities when buying mining equipment, you can pay with bitcoin. Is our verbal agreement and such transactions take place under the shadow of the government. We still have a long wait for legalization but I don't want to. I like everything as it is now.
If we do try to see directly into their job and engagement on bitcoin I would say that they are really opposing to each other since we do know that lawyers are do always go with a countries law but as long it isn't still have any laws and restriction of bitcoin to be used on their country then I think it should be fine for them to accept bitcoin as a payment for their service. As long theres still no regulations then it wont really be a bothering thing for them.
8057  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns on: December 14, 2017, 08:54:41 PM
earn the  comfortable money to run your family.
You've got to be fucking kidding.  If you rely on sig campaign money to support a family, you're a lazy 3rd world scunt and are probably going to get booted for sheer ignorance of language skills/copypasting/some other shenanigans sooner rather than later.     Those of us who can and want to communicate properly.   This is a sad, sad post right here.  You idiots should not be procreating--stick to porn and leave live, breathing females alone.
Lol.. Obviously ,a lot of people see signature campaigns as a means of income, for being able to help their family by doing nothing but shitposting. Just make some useless 25-35 posts, and you're good to go.
And if bitcointalk has come to this, we're in deep shit.
It already has come to such a position, from the moment people started to realize bitcoin is rising like hell, they started abusing all the possible campaigns with their original and their legion of alt accounts. Bounties are easy to cheat and most of the shitposters go over there and the managers don't have that much of the strict measures like the ones in the bitcoin campaigns. Sad to say but such is the state of bitcointalk now.
Making a living with signature campaign earnings? That would really be risky thing to do and I cant even imagine that those small amounts of dollars on a single week payout would able to raise up a family.Thinking off that this amount is only good on buying me some can of beer. This is the sad reality on this forum which It do like a nest of bloodsuckers abusing campaigns for the sake of money for living. Not a total racism but this is too much for campaigns to be treated and this shouldn't really be the way.
8058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta on: December 14, 2017, 07:43:09 PM
etherdelta is a decentralized exchange, but for its use and its system is very difficult to understand. I was quite difficult to trade and some days I am very difficult to make a deposit or withdraw.
When we are still a newbie on this exchange we would really have a hard time on using it on first time.It isn't really noob friendly and it is really technical and cant be understand this is why I decide to read up their instruction together with youtube vidoes on how to use the site and later on I did able to understand on how to use it which I do find out its really an easy thing. It is just hard on the very first time but if you did already get the idea then it would be piece a cake. Setting out sufficient gas is recommended if you do like fast confirmation of orders.
8059  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin practically Anonymous (or Decentralized) ? I know, please read fully. on: December 14, 2017, 06:23:21 PM
I thought so too, but tell me please why it is impossible to track the hackers who hacked last week nicehash? They stole 4700 bitcoins. It's not a small amount and it seems to me that many who wish to trace those who did it. Probably not so simple as we think. Probably if desired bitcoin can provide anonymity. Or do you think that search of the hackers robbed nicehash do the Amateurs?

Because Bitcoin still has some anonymity. There's usually a trail, but there are specific cases where there simply isn't. This is one of those cases, as the hackers could simply create new addresses to send the hacked coins to. At that point, you know which addresses hold the coins, but not the owner. No part of the hackers' identity is public. That could change once the hackers start liquidating the coins though, as the trail will finally have endpoints to follow.

If you're a regular person that cashes out through an exchange or other people though, that essentially means part of your identity is public (your exchange address or the address you used to deal with the third party), and it could be used to trace your other addresses. There are still solutions to this, of course, like using a mixing service like Chipmixer before sending out your coins.
But most hackers wont really tend to do such stuff on not mixing on the coins that have been stolen into someone. They are not dumb enough to disclose their identity easily. They would normally make use methods which would really cover up the trail and would make the tracing would be more difficult or even impossible for you do search on and would end up tired and wont bother to investigate. Even on using directly a mixing service from the very start would really solve the problem on making that dirty money into a new one.
8060  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC offline? on: December 14, 2017, 05:32:30 PM
I can't login to the site anymore and alot of others too. Is it a scam?
You are not the only one do have this kind of problem since its down and cant really be accessed which this thing do usually happen on them on where it got become DDOS but eventually it doesn't mean that they do ran off all trader or investors money or become scam since they cant be accessed. For sure later on it would really be just fine and you would able to access it and would able to trade again. For now the best thing to do is wait and don't make such false claims that they are scam.I will guarantee you that they would really come back.
