This is why im not really interested to see the announcement section on altcoin since almost every week or even day a new coins has been launched which really reduce my interest and most of them have the same stats or features and i dont see any coins which really interest me. Just like what happen to Zcash hype many people do invest but it didnt convinced me at all.

Automated trading it's a waste of money.. The bots doesnt read the news and dont have skill, even for doing some scalping it's worthless
It would be really useless and those bots would really need to be set-upped and if you are an inexperienced trader then you will definitely do wrong set up and which could really make you lose on your trades those bots are just depending on the settings that you have used. You are right those bots doesnt read any news and could not able to decide regarding on emergency cases. |

it's a firm pumper favorite. no reason why it shouldn't go back to $12. No reason why it shouldn't be $1.20 either. you're in their hands. i think there's enough vested interests to see some more action in the future. it's not as if it's gonna fade away.
I quite agree wit you ETH was rising rapidly as pumper favorite but the attack twice have taken the win out of its sail and that momentum is no longer there, however it is not a dead coin yet. You can wait it out or perhaps channel the coins to vdice which got some prospect. A lesson to note from tat is never to buy and old any coin tat is pumped, better to o wit te flow if you must, the attack, whatever you may have in mind (since there were a couple of them) was effective for sure but the reason why price is going down is because it is the natural order of things in altcoins and in every pump and dump. and it is not dead in the waters "yet" because it is a big project and lots of money have gone into it, that takes a long time to get out. You are right ETH wont go out or be dead easily since its really a big project and millions of dollars are already invested into it and they are still trying to stand up no matter how hard the attack previously. Im not really fan of ETH but i just tell the things which i really do observe on its development since in the beggining. |

You'd better sell them before you get stuck with 0 buy orders, beware poeple, don't invest in trustless projects, never send money to projects you know nothing about, unless you don't care to loose money. It is like investing in HYIP, don't send money unless you accept to loose them. I really dont know why there are some people would really tend to put money or invest money on certain alts which doesnt have any chance or does have potential from the name itself cannabiscoin its already a scam for me and nemgun was right better to to sell off as soon as possible and get out of there and take your bitcoin even you lose some portions of it. |

I dont like to revive those dead coins since those alts are just useless thats why they are dead and people dont have any interest on it and why we should bother to revive if no one uses it? I would not choose since i dont like those coins which are considered as dead. |

You must buy bitcoins for some money and not all of them in altcoins, because of you have bought ETH and there is no wrong you buy ETC too, the reasons is ETC is original of ETH and ETH is hard fork coin, it is mean you still not buy real ethereum coin. And i am sure it will be survive for six years later. After you get out from the jail you become rich people. I dont think etc or eth are good investments because the only on e strong coin that hasd survived for over 5 years is bitcoin thats why I agree with the guy who said buy all bitcoins and hold. Well let me clear some point you : On the my first wroting You must buy bitcoins for some money and not all of them in altcoins,The second the OP has bought ETH and GNT I already bought eth and gnt.And the last the OP said What do you think which one should i buy?So i gave him my opinion about altcoins and ETC, but everything depend on the OP what will he doing and i just give my opinion because of the OP questions. I think I will continue to stick with Eth even if the price has gone down so low so fast as of late.
It's up to you to decide... From my point of view, that would be quite risky. It's important to note that Bitcoin is in much better condition than before, with a considerable number of users, growing every day. Many economists already consider Bitcoin one of the investments with better profit potential for the coming months. You are right but well everyone has its own decision and we cant convinced them directly on this matter since we do have different perspectives onto these coins. If i had to choose i will definitely go to bitcoin rather than on ethereum since no altcoin could able to surpass bitcoins in any ways and my trust will be on bitcoin only. |

Can Bitcoin be used for good? Yes,of course. It depends on us how can we handle our bitcoin. We can also use the bitcoin in bad to earn more bitcoins. They used the bitcoin for their own welfare and they were not called the good bitcoiner and they were not good example for us as a new in bitcoin.
Thats the reality since Bitcoin could able to use in both Good and Bad ways it really depends on a certain individual on how he gonna utilize its own bitcoins and same as you mentioned there are really people would really use it on badways just to earn money and we should really accept the reality since we could not able to stop them on there doings just what we saw on darknet. |

It is mesmerizing to watch your balance grow, day after day... until one day, when you try to login to your account and the site just closed it's doors and they are gone. I tried a lot of these Ponzi schemes ...when it was fairly active on this forum, and I was lucky to get out before they collapsed... I experimented with it, because I was curious how they worked and also because it was such a easy method to make money quickly.... but if your timing sucks, you could lose money just as easily.  It may work for some people but not all could able to get this kind of method it might work and timing would be really essential on this thing. Possibility of making money is there but the risk involved is very high if you can take the risk then you should proceed but if not then dont bother to put your money. You would really waste it and its better to save it. |

Eth,dogecoin and xaurum also. I think these coins will be more pricey in 2017 actually im starting to hold these coins and i expect more profit from these alt coins
You mentioned about XAUR which i think that it will pump on next year and its a very good coin with good devs and this coin is backed with gold and thats the thing i saw on this coins that i why i decide to invest my money on it. Just like on XMR i do hold also some coins but for DOGE and ETH i dont think its not a good idea to purchase now. |

Putting up money or investing money on those coins are just waste for sure even we say you are willing to wait for 6 years i dont think that coins that you mentioned will still exist or die along the way. If you are sure on the money you will put into cryptocurrency then its better to go for Bitcoin all the way since this coins could somehow assure us that it will surely grow on upcoming years. |

Bitcoin is an extremely useful payment system for both illegal and legal activities. It's like cash, and just because lot of drug dealers using cash, the government will hopefully not ban it.
Correct both bitcoin and cash is being used on illegal things and anything does have value people would really use it no matter what and thats why some country does ban bitcoin because of this matter which is being used by illegal activities. |

btc of course ,eth is not safe right now
The ETH is just 2 years old. If it can survive 8 years like the bitcoin, the price could be around $1000. Agree ETH is just to young when we will compare it to bitcoin but we cant still judge on this coin since its still trying its best to recover especially on its price now which is dipping but if i had to choose i would 100% choose bitcoin over ETH without hesitations. We all know that no one could able to surpass bitcoin. |

Yes there is a possibility to be happen but not now, because the demand of the bitcoin community is totally high at the present time now, slow and fast it depends on the area of the country.It does not depend on a country because we are transaction in the blockchain only, and it's decentralized so no country interference with the problem of transaction. It will be slow if the demand is huge as more transactions will be happening and that is the only reason. It's possible to be accepted in a local store, and it doesn't really depend on the area but it also depends on the government of the country and also how speedy the transaction is. It can be hard for the store to be accepting Bitcoin because they don't know yet the legality of it in their country. Also they won't be able to easily track all of the transactions if they accept Bitcoin, they would be switching from computers to confirm the sent Bitcoin in order to confirm the order. Its still possible as long the adoption of bitcoin on a particular place is high then you could accept bitcoin anytime and theres no worry about on the transaction duration as long its already transferred into your address it would not be reversed already and its really a good thing since you could already assure that payments will surely go into your wallet. |

I would say as well that the majority of the users are below the age of 30.
But I would say as well that those between 30 and 40 can make the most out of bitcoin.
That generation has more life experience and with it a better feeling if things are fishy or profitable.
Im thinking the same thing too on which this age gap has the most users involve on bitcoin because they could easily understand about the features and benefits of bitcoin but still i could able to see some people who are older which also uses bitcoin which is a good thing that even old people still interested into bitcoin. |

People would surely not tend to put up their bitcoin on a bitcoin bank because they will surely prefer to use their own wallet and have the control on their money compare on putting up into a bitcoin bank which is something unusual thing to do snce there are lots of wallets out there to choose from and why we should need the use of banks.

In most countries tax is not put on Bitcoin itself but on exchange transactions, trading. The pressure for regulation is bigger and bigger because of anti money laundering regulations, tax evasions, illegal markets etc. But regulation doesn't necessary have to be the bad thing for Bitcoin and its users so we don't have to be afraid of it.
The possible things that government will do is to impose taxes on the way of exchanges and other merchants who accepts bitcoin on their businesses since its the only way to get money from those bitcoin users but getting directly into bitcoin its not really possible since bitcoin is decentralized and they cant able to access the system. |
