8181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Earn Ethereum ? on: October 19, 2017, 10:35:13 AM
Applying for airdrops is the best and safe way to earn ether. I earned more than 2 ether by airdrops although I'm still a newbie.
Good for you that you did able to earn 2 ether and i assume that you do earn that amount on joining on airdrops?Am i right? Since this is the most common way for now specially on lots of erc20 tokens being launched as of now on having their airdrop and even newbie would able to join that one because it doesnt really require ranks when you would take part. Some of them do require but some doesnt really care at all as long you do comply on what they need.
8182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: October 19, 2017, 08:33:57 AM
i wonder what makes you trust a new altcoin? what you're looking for in their company page etc...?

Trust can be build not in a couple of days or weeks. When a new coin started to bloom, i will also start my trading, i will just try at first if it will work well and if it does, i will eventually put or invest again.
This is true and usually i do this stuff after a certain coin would bloom up specially if i see theres a community interest on it and besides the project do really have worth to be invest on. These are the things which i do really trust into a new altcoin and not all are scams if you can really able to identify with proper research then getting scammed would really be on less chances for sure.
8183  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what disruptive technology can affect bitcoin? on: October 19, 2017, 02:47:03 AM
Quantum computing could iirc make cryptography, including ECC weaker (a 4096 bit key would be as easy to break as a 2048 bit key is now). However, if we could get people to agree on it, we could change Bitcoin to use a newer, quantum resistant system.
We would really come to a point on where quantum computers which do have the capability on such decrypting then it would really affect bitcoin for sure. There would really be disadvantage but this thing would really give some advantage to improve more regarding bitcoin technology.
8184  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has Arrived in Thailand..... on: October 18, 2017, 11:39:27 PM
Bitcoin is welcome in Thailand...

Thailand has had Bitcoin in place for some time and I see the government is preparing for the future and how to en brass Bitcoin. It is not unusual to see a " We accept Bitcoin " In all type of stores.

This is really great for Thai People and the Tourists that visit......
Its glad to see that theres is a gradual acceptance and legalization on bitcoin on some countries. First is on Japan and been followed already by some.It would be great if it would really be available in my country too on which you would not need to exchange your bitcoin actively just to spend it.This would really be an eye opener on some countries which would possibly accept bitcoin later on.
8185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ether hard fork and prices on: October 18, 2017, 11:03:52 PM
The hard fork for Ether, Byzantium – the first leg in the update – will occur at block 4,370,000, or roughly Oct. 16, which is tomorrow. How do you think it will affect ETH prices?
It seems that they already have a bug, patched it but I don't know.
So, how do you think ETH will be price wise tomorrow?

This one passed very quietly. I was expecting some price fluctuation at least. But it passed like nothing happens.

Any ideas should we expect something more?
Agree on what you have said here. This fork doesnt really give any impact at all.Price did still able into a stable state which theres no a  pump have been found but the thing i do observe is the transactions are now even faster compared on before fork.Which in every transactions i do make even putting 2 gwei or minimal gas do confirm faster than before i dont know for some but this is the thing i do observe.
8186  Economy / Speculation / Re: This family bet it all on Bitcoin on: October 18, 2017, 02:06:49 PM
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/17/this-family-bet-it-all-on-bitcoin.html

They sold everything to buy bitcoin and are living in campsites, waiting to become millionaires.
This kind of action seems too greedy into my own eyes. They are risking and believing too much where comes to a point they sold everything and put in bitcoin. This is really like suicide thing. It would be heaven if their hopes on the price go on that way but what if the opposite thing happen? For sure they would end up on living that campsite forever.
Correct. They do believe too much on bitcoin but it isnt really a bad decision at all but it is really risky same as you said because price isnt really guaranteed that it will rise up in the future that would really makes them a millionaire. We cant predict on what would happen ahead which means there would really be only outcome on this kind of risk taking. Profits or total wreckage of their money.
8187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gonna start trading again next week. on: October 18, 2017, 10:08:30 AM
Hi!
A month ago I started to trade with 800$ and within a week I reached 1100$ from trading in alt and btc.
But for now I am gonna start again but with 150$ i wanna reach 1000$
is that hard? What should I do exactly? How long should it take? I need max tips from PROFESSIONAL traders please 😂 Because this is all what I got for now and really need to pay for college and so

It will be hard for you if you are new to this platform and I advise that you seek some professional traders advice nor maybe you should learn from past trades you've got so that you can reach your aim. And also don't be greedy to see if the coin is pumping since you can be deceive by a sudden dump if you will aim for so much high profit in your heads and just trade with precaution since hype is all around.
Even professionals wont really help you out but somehow you can get some advices from them which you can actually apply on your trading style and more.Just keep on the things you do back in the past where you did gain $300 in a week which isnt really bad at all but talking to have a capital of $150 to reach out thousands bucks would really be a hard thing. You cant be sure if you can make money anytime on doing trading.
8188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 18, 2017, 09:26:50 AM
altcoin's fad, bitcoin legend  Wink
Altcoin fad? But you can make money out of it if you do know how to diversify your money between altcoin and bitcoin itself and come to think off that there are some things which really cant be found on bitcoin which we can able to see on alts which we can really presume that they can still be consider to have potential.
8189  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 18, 2017, 08:59:20 AM
Anonymity brings scam opportunity. That make criminal people for powerfull. But on the other side we have more good people who believe anonymity is important for real life.
Theres is really an advantage and disadvantage of anonymity but most likely it is really being abused on the negative side which do people make use of it on criminality and we cant do anything about it. People scam because they in need of money and they dont really like to work hard for it thats why i do treat those people as lazy ones. Easy money would always comes into their minds sad to say but they can really milk out other peoples money.
8190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 06:35:46 PM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

Those people who are against on bitcoin are those people who are blinded by media or informations made by other people which do really give them first impressions because mostly people do mention on the negative side of bitcoin but if they would really took it deeply and try to understand its positive aspects for sure they would really change their minds.
8191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: why myetherwallet security not strong on: October 16, 2017, 05:07:57 PM
To maintain the safety of our accounts and make it should be started by users itself not only by a wallet services . I wonder how a certain hacker gets these people's credentials for their myethereumwallet accounts, being a noob should not be considered as an excuse to set aside your common sense and your observation .
With just commonsense you would eventually avoid on being hacked on your myetherwallet which i agree that being a noob is not really an excuse as long you do know your responsibility on hiding your private keys then theres nothing to worry when it comes on hacking incident.Just to read up above it is right that even cracking a single private key would really takes year for sure and you would need to have a super computer on cracking those hashes.
8192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont know what trading Style i FIT Losing Lot of Money :( Tips Guys (Newbie) on: October 16, 2017, 04:11:02 PM

Just been said above you should really know or learn on the mistakes that you do made.It is indeed a trial and error and loses would really be normally committed since we are just starting up.We do have the same situation when i was still newbie on trading field. All things are messed up and do lose huge amounts of money because i do let my emotion and greediness do control me which would really lead up on wrong decisions and timing. All resources or informations about trading is already on the net.Just have a time on reading up gradually.
8193  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 03:35:59 PM
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
I don't think it is right for them to teach them so early about bitcoin, maybe you could do first is to teach them to know the value of money first because internet is not really good for children, they will got to search unpleasant things without knowing. So maybe it is better to wait your child until they can earn their own money trough bitcoin. Maybe around 16 years old is the right age for them to teach bitcoin.

Internet exposes you to all the unpleasant things out there. And as a person that have been lurking on the Internet for most of my spare time ever since I was a kid, I can tell you that kids are going to search for these unpleasant things by their own anyway. Bitcoin wouldn't be the reason why would would they look up these things but rather their very own curiosity.

If anything, bitcoin might even make them less exposed to these unpleasant things. They can become so pre-occupied with reading things about bitcoin that they have little to no time for searching things that are irrelevant and/or trivial.
Yeah, we are all expose in many unpleasant things when we are browsing in the internet, so when we are allowing our kids to browse the internet, also make sure that you look up into them. They still need guidance and I think in their young age they will be not interested in bitcoin. So, maybe we just need to wait until they become more resposible.

Guidance can be established by checking the browser history of your kid's PC or just installing a software that will save all the logs. But still, it's just a matter of time before you kid will find out that you're spying on him so he will clear his browser's cache and cookies. He will also uninstall the software that you have installed or search for a way to bypass it.

You can also do manual guiding by looking at his PC every now and then but you're not going to be behind him every time. He will still find time to browse things that aren't appropriate to his age. We've all been there. We all know that he can never be stopped from doing such things. He will always be eventually going to be exposed to unpleasant things.
So, what you do mean by this? Maybe it is good if we just don't allow them to use gadgets. We are the parents so we can tell them what they don't need to do and what is right. My son is not using gadgets now, unless he is sick, I allow him to use gadget but I just give him a limit.
When we do compare those kids in the previous generation they are not really exposed on gadget things unlike now that they are really prone on those gadgets and other tech related things which would really make them some involvements in the net which we arent aware to be accessed anytime.Exposing them on pc would really give some bad impacts which its much wiser we should not still teach them about money matters since they are still depending on us parents.
8194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cindicator, KickCoin or RedPulse? on: October 15, 2017, 08:09:47 PM
Stay away from Cindicator for the moment. They are currently shitting on their community. Check their Telegram or Reddit for proof:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Cindicator/

I suppose Cindicator don't want to be announced in more exchanges because now ALL altcoins are bleeding day by day... so they might way for the propper time to do it. If they were interested just in money, the ICO would have raised 500M$ instead 15M$ and leaving many people out.
Anyway I still dont understand what is the fucking problem.. If you want to sell your token, you can do it in Etherdelta or in Mercatox. In fact i have bought more because i didnt had enough money during ICO's whitelist.
Etherdelta is a legit exchange? of course.. but with a big lag, and also have seen many people loosing lot of money because of misstyping the price (exchange dont look for the best price, just execute at the introduced price.. some days ago i saw someone bought 1WTC for 200ETH.. no comments....).
So if you are just an speculator, you are not usefull as you can't support CND's ecosystem, so just sell your tokens in etherdelta or mercatox, forget CND and keep on annoying another community with your daytrading's anxiety.

Thats sad for those people who did mistype on prices on Etherdelta which i did see sometime do lose up some serious ETH amounts. This exchange is somehow difficult or complicated specially on new people who dont have much idea on using the site.Back on topic, I cant say such thing which of the 3 would be the best but i would say some words that these 3 project do have potential. @ Chingador you cant blame people id they would decide to hold up or sell their CND.

the fact is that there are avaliable markets, so if they want, they are free to sell.. then, why all this trouble?¿ they could have sold and this show could have been avoided! that's why i blame them.. because they just spread fud and misunderstanding.

You cant remove it from people since they do really have the freedom on speaking on whats the thing on their minds, which do actually sucks and they should really keep their mouth shut since they are already on profits since they do secure on selling on earlier times. If you do hate it then better not to pay attention on it. You would make yourself stress out.

8196  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: October 15, 2017, 06:32:29 PM
Panic is a state of mind when you can't control your emotions and you start to do everything based on the instinct. Yes, he fluctuation of bitcoin it is something normal, considering the volatility of it and the advise not to sell because you may not be able to do the same amount of bitcoin when the price will start to rise again. So be smart, don't panic.
HOLD HOLD HOLD is the most important word used in trading alts. The more patience you have, the more profit you will make. Even panic selling is most harmfull as it can give you a huge loss if you are trading in huge amounts. In trading bitcoins, just keep buying and storing or investing for your bright future.

Even with alts? I think bitcoin makes more sense to hold. But for most altcoins, they're so low priced that you can lose a lot of money (if not all) if you don't end up selling. I guess if you're talking about bigger altcoins, then it makes sense to hold, but if you're looking at ICOs and such, I think it's too much of a risky move to hold hold hold.
I wont even risk on newly launched coins as you said its really a risky thing to do and hold them knowing that if a new coin launch on exchange it would really normally dump.We dont even know if it would still pump or not but well this is the risk as an investor but its not really bad to hold even on these coins as long we do see that it does really have the potential to grow.
8197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell all alts to buy more cheaper? on: October 15, 2017, 05:26:53 PM
Looks like many people sell their altcoins for bitcoins and the price of the bitcoins go down. I think that after the hard fork the altcoins will recover.
Bitcoin price is not going down, it actually has a good amount right now, and it rises and continues to rise, so I think it is not a bad idea to sell altcoins to bitcoins. Bitcoin is also a good investment and it has a good future since we are just expected $5000 this Month and it just boost into $5600 price. So I guess it will also reach $6000 by this year. So let us hope and just be patient even hard fork will come. For sure it will still recover after the hard fork.
We cant still be sure if the price would stabilize or consider this 5k range to be the new floor of bitcoins price which i do really believe that price would somehow correct after the fork event. Its not really bad to accumulate bitcoin by selling altcoins but we must be sure we are not on negative side. Its better to hold them than to risk on selling them on loss.
8198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Trading Truly Profitable on: October 13, 2017, 09:15:04 PM
Apparently for many of the people it was not so profitable till that moment. unfortunately only minority of the alt coin projects was profitable for its investors.
These questions been asked by those people who dont even tried out to make money with alts but for those people who did experience to make money on altcoin then for sure you would able to expect on what would be their answer related into these kind of questions. For me it is indeed profitable if you do know how to spot a good coin and you would able to get in on cheaper price. You will surely make money on its price volatilizes.
8199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CREATE NEW [Crypto-Currency] on: October 13, 2017, 08:45:29 PM
I agree with the guy who posted above, he is 100% right, you are pretending to create a new cryptocurrencie, but you dont even know how to create it, and you dont want to hire developers.
A new coin can not fall from the sky, and it is not free, you have to spend some hundreds in creating it, or for hiring someone to develop it for you.
and if you dont have funds for doing it, i guess that you dont have enough to spend on advertising and marketing right?
This is only on the marketing side of your new coin.If you dont have the money then you will surely have a hard time on this one but If you do try to understand on what he meant on here then creating new token is somehow simple it does really need funds If you do try to look at see on services section or project development sections as far as i remember theres someone who do offer token creation. Some of my friends say its easy to create erc20 or even waves coins since most tokens in the market do use this platform.
8200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The higher the rise, the bigger the plunge (btc vs alts) on: October 12, 2017, 08:42:26 PM
With Bitcoin rising so fast and the alts losing so much due to a number of factors (bitcoingold and upcoming segwitx2, among others), I can't help but wonder WHEN it'll all come crashing back down. Obviously the alts are in a perfect accumulation state (already doubled my holdings of most alts including SONM), so I'm really not too worried about it, but this is a rise that cannot sustain itself.

My guess is by the end of october bitcoin will have dropped back from 6K to about 4.5K, which means about 20-25 billion dollars will flow out of the market, and some will flow right back into the cheap yet durable alts like NEO, SONM, ETH, LTC, ...

What do you guys think?
This is a normal thing indeed but i cant think off that bitcoin would reach out $6k on this month either after or before the fork but well it do really have the possibility on reaching that range but i can still say that there would be a dip but rather a zig-zag way on the price thinking off that the fork is back to back which means prices would really be pulling either on the top or bottom. Just like that and as a wise investors or traders we should know how to ride on the waves.
