Anyone having problems with Cryptsy and withdrawals of DMD. I found out about this all mess few days ago and I login to Cryptsy to withdraw all my DMD, still don't get any coin in my wallet, and on Cryptsy I don't have any DMD.

Cryptsy finally posts a meaningful update. Unfortunately it's not good news. Yes, money was stolen (so it wasn't just "technical difficulties"); one option is filing for bankruptcy. They are hoping they might be able to recover the lost funds (apparently they are sitting in a wallet and haven't moved since the theft), but it's a long shot. Trading and withdrawals suspended indefinitely, although it looks like some markets are active. Also, not sure if it's just BTC and LTC withdrawals they are suspending or all of them. http://blog.cryptsy.com/post/137323646202/announcement/This is really bad news for anyone who uses a different crypto currency. And so you should think very carefully before you use several different POS wallets (little-known alt coins) on the same computer. I keep my wallet encrypted, and open only for minting, i keep all my passwords on Keepas password wallet, and i open it only to put password on sites and then close it.
I use a good firewall on my ADSL line (Fritz box), and i keep up to date antivirus and antimalware (Avira free and Malwarebytes).
I try to donwload software only from the original sites.
On the net from the beginning of the internet era, i didn't take any virus (until now)...
by more than one year, for every search on the web that could lead to encounter dangerous site, i've downloaded vmware player and created a virtual machine with an ubuntu distro, and i use this to surf the web.
Hope some of this advices will help you.

I think that the best solution to improve the security wallet is the introduction of multi signature.
When one part of the key will work to unlock the wallet and use of POS mining, but both sides of the signature will only be used for outgoing transactions.
and of course Dev can add a PIN code to dial in the wallet via the mouse.
This may also raise safety DMD wallet..

This terrible situation. sad therefore ask the developers to update the wallet add PIN to the wallet (only for withdrawals, for example 4-5 digits). I very much ask. Or offer your own option. if it was a keylogger then this PIN code will not help.. Keylogger is capable to capture all your keystrokes and clipboard view. It can be stored for a long time on your system and act unnoticed but at one point there will be crash (that's why as dangerous Windows 10) .. I'm certainly not against the introduction of a new wallet extra protection. But still the best by far is to use a separate virtual machine only for POS mining. And never run simultaneously several poorly studied wallets on the one PC |

One thing I don't understand is, how were they able to complete the transaction? Even when wallet is in minting mode, you need the wallet password before you can transmit. If you have been keylogged somehow, you should change your passwords from a different PC, before even more harm is done. Also make sure it's not a remote VNC Java plugin, some crimeware kits do this. I cashed out, call me weak but I made by far the most BTC from this coin than any other altcoin this year, but I'm out.
i guess thats some kind of positive feedback....  guess the guys who bought BTC at 1$ and sold at 10$ will feel like u feel in a few years when u think about DMD  I'm an investor, not a gambler. If you think they are the same you have fundamental misunderstanding of market analytics. they not the same we wont x1000 in value in 2 years as BTC did from 1$ to 1000$ but x5 x10 even x100 in a few years who knows....... I'll take 4.5x profit as of last week over gambling. A smart man knows when to walk away. Not to mention the massive consolidation of coins by limited wallets, its inability to gain value in USD/BTC ratio as proven by the chart you quoted above, and the lack of any unique use of the coin other than as "a store of wealth," which neglects the fact it is inherently tied to the aforementioned USD/BTC ratio. Just one thing, I think it's not good to advertise the current DMD/BTC prices from cryptsy, because they are not the real market conditions. This could lead people to sell on cryptsy and maybe even lose DMD or BTC in the end.
