841  Other / Meta / Re: Negative user in default trust 1 on: February 15, 2016, 09:06:46 AM
The fuck is happening with the DT 1 people around here..

And who have Escrow.ms still in there trust list? i can see him in DT 2

tomatocage and badbear still have escrow.ms in their trust list. both are not very active these days. badbear did log in just few hours ago though. but I don't think he noticed.
842  Economy / Goods / Re: Used panties for sale on: February 15, 2016, 05:57:21 AM
Look you guys, I understand this is a weird fetish. But let's be honest, people like weird fucking shit. Some people get off on videos of people popping balloons or squishing cake between their toes, so let's not pretend this is the grossest, sickest thing you've ever heard of. I wouldn't be surprised if some of you guys saying how gross this is look at scat porn or some weird ass shit that's on a level all it's own. People are weird, and I sure as shit wouldn't blindly exclude any of you from that just because you think this is weird.

it is, actually. I've seen people sell shits (literally) and a used fake teeth and many others but this is the by far the nastiest (the word gross doesn't really describe this correctly) thing of them all. even that video where a man accidentally broke a glass in his -ahem censored- can't beat this. why? because whoever will buy your -ahem censored- knows that someone used it before and may actually use it to please themselves.

but yeah. maybe others don't see it as I do. I'll just pretend that this thread doesn't exist.
843  Other / Meta / Re: Public Ban Appeal For Yobit Spammer on: February 15, 2016, 05:34:29 AM
There are more but I'm busy right now
I chose to make this thread instead of reporting to yobit because they have a history of not caring
Well
1) That is acceptable post quality, mods don't/won't care about those, might be temp-ban worthy , but with BB gone and theymos not indulging in banning users, I don't see temp-ban being an option.
2) Yobit does care, hilarious is their manager now, so PM those to him and wait for a reply.

Where did Badbear go?

reddit? at least he's much less active ever since he become a mod there.

also I didn't know that hilariousandco is managing yobit sig. good to know.
844  Economy / Goods / Re: Used panties for sale on: February 15, 2016, 04:28:50 AM
I'll lose any faith in humanity if someone actually buy this.
845  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: February 15, 2016, 04:13:45 AM
in my room back on early 2012 IIRC. I actually tried to mine using my GPU but something (forgot) made me gave up and lost interest until 2013.
846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: martin Shkreli loses 37,000 bitcoins (10 transactions = $15 million) yesterday. on: February 15, 2016, 03:57:30 AM
quote from wikipedia

Quote
In accordance with Shkreli's business plan, Turing acquired Daraprim (pyrimethamine) – an FDA-approved therapeutic since 1953 – for US$55 million on August 10, 2015, from Impax Laboratories. The drug's most prominent use as of late 2015 was as an anti-malarial and an antiparasitic, in conjunction with leucovorin and a sulfonamide, to treat patients with toxoplasmosis, including in AIDS populations. The patent for Daraprim expired in 1953, and no generic version was available. The Turing–Impax deal included the condition that Impax remove the drug from regular wholesalers and pharmacies, and so in June 2015, two months before the sale to Turing was announced, Impax switched to tightly controlled distribution. In keeping with its strategy for pricing in the face of limited competition (see above), Turing maintained the closed distribution.

On September 17, 2015, Dave Muoio of Healio, an in-depth clinical information website for health care specialists, reported on a letter from the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the HIV Medicine Association to executives at Turing, questioning a new pricing for Daraprim. The price of a dose of the drug in the U.S. market increased from US$13.50 to US$750 per pill, overnight, a 5,556 percent increase.

what the fuck? it's only right that the whole world should hate this guy.
847  Economy / Reputation / Re: Removal of escrow.ms? Update: Recommend users for DT 2, as escrow.ms is removed on: February 15, 2016, 03:12:52 AM
mexxer-2 and RHavar (not completely sure about this one) got added to the DT so he got more positives.
RHavar moved from DT4 to DT3 with mexxer moving from DT3 to DT2.

uh nope. Rhavar is on DT2 with bare DefaultTrust list. not sure who added him as he's not on Blazed's list. (and you're in his list, in case you missed.)
848  Economy / Reputation / Re: Removal of escrow.ms? Update: Recommend users for DT 2, as escrow.ms is removed on: February 15, 2016, 03:07:01 AM
I had to laugh because you are so consistent on holding on your account even though it looks pretty unlikely getting the red trust away.
Tell me if I'm wrong, but I think QS is back to 0 on default settings.
I believe you are mistaken. It looks like I am in your trust network because of your custom trust settings.

Before i kicked dt out i noticed qs doesnt have those ?? ?? anymore

Ah lutpin wrote it

849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is bitcoin Loan on: February 14, 2016, 08:49:07 AM
of course.
just make sure you bring a collateral or you'll get no loan (at least not until you're trusted enough).

and just in case, read this sticky before asking for a loan.
850  Other / Meta / Re: Negative user in default trust 1 on: February 14, 2016, 08:14:12 AM
It does not make sense at all.
He should be remove from default trust or the red feedback should be removed.

there's a thread about this here. maybe you'll find your answers there (didn't read it).

His trust show red to general users now. Is he one of thermos cronies?

only the overall rating, it's still 1 negative and 15 positive (and it's orange). ask therm-- err theymos.

852  Other / Meta / Re: Ignoring to delete bumps on: February 14, 2016, 08:00:49 AM
where's the thread?
simply report the old bumps. after a couple of deleted bumps he'll probably learn the lesson or will be warned by a mod.

edit:
just reported one saying there's more inside.
853  Other / Meta / Re: funkymunky hacked on: February 14, 2016, 07:53:28 AM
sorry if i missed it. hmm. since he just staked a new address 2 weeks ago, isn't it possible that he deleted it just before he sold the account so when the time comes the account is bought then he can claim that the "hacker" deleted the staked address and posted a new one?

possible, of course. also possible that OP is actually the "hacker" and the current owner is just a victim (just an assumption). that's why I brought up the fact that theymos will not recover the account to an illegitimate owner.
so all we can do is wait for OP to clear any doubts by signing from the other address or wait until theymos recovered the account (which means he's sure that OP is the legitimate owner of the acc.).
854  Other / Meta / Re: funkymunky hacked on: February 14, 2016, 06:13:15 AM
why after long time of inactivity you decided to check your account and notice it got hacked? isn't you who sold it and only trying to get it back? somethings fishy here :/

9 days (or even 3 months) isn't a "long time". what is fishy is that OP never came back to sign a message with the other address. also theymos won't recover the account if there's any indication that it was hacked or if it is clear that the account was sold by the original owner, so the account shouldn't fall to the wrong hands.
as for the current owner getting ripped off... that's just the risk of account trading.

edited to add the bolded part.

for me, i wouldn't still consider the account being hacked when it is sold coz of just a day after the account stake a new address the original owner came back saying his account is hacked (after almost 6months of being inactive).

eh... read the OP again. he staked an address less that 2 weeks ago and it got deleted by someone. (btw I edited my post that you quoted above to add something.).
855  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam ATTEMPT - Almost Legendary Member on: February 14, 2016, 05:48:24 AM

Scam *attempts* for petty amounts (0.02, 0.03, 0.04) but from many lenders without collateral. Needs to be given red trust, he is NOT to be trusted as he will run with what you give him. Using his "hero" title to scam. Check his trust for more references.

Checking his Trust Status , lenders should ask for his account as collateral to fail scamming intentions if any.

He refuses to give it of course - obvious scammer.

even if he accepted to give that account as collateral. it's pretty much worthless because he got a neg from QS and lutpin for defaulting on a loan.

edit:
and now from xestr.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Feel About Bitcoin Right Now? on: February 14, 2016, 05:36:14 AM
I'm experiencing this love and hate with bitcoin right now...Love it one day and hate it the next. But, I keep holding on...

Questions

1. How do you feel about bitcoin right now

2. How long do you plan on holding on?

1. unsatisfied.
2. depends. if it goes to the dump and I still have some btc and can still earn a decent profit, I will keep on holding on. if I have no more btc and can't earn a decent amount of profit anymore, bye bye. if it goes to the dump but have a lot more adoption than now and managed to maintain it, I will stay but as a casual consumer.

858  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 Within 2 Months? on: February 14, 2016, 05:00:18 AM
Am I the only one that think bitcoin will reach $500 within the next two months?

I doubt you are the only one but I don't think $500 in two months is realistic. By end of 2016 it may hit $500 once or twice.

25% increase in two months is doubtful.

the price did increase by 50% between mid-september to mid-november last year, you know. and with the halving coming close I do think there's a fairly good chance of that happening again.
859  Other / Meta / Re: Post quality on: February 13, 2016, 03:31:46 PM
I mean when you use the account value calculators how does that make a quality from your posts.

in case of http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/ it's

-snip- Post quality is determined by the ratio of the number posts with more than 75 characters in non-quoted text and the number of posts with less than 75 characters in non-quoted text. You can read the whole algorithm which explains things pretty clearly in the OP.
-snip-

the whole algorithm is posted here.
