There is again something in the making around Kane and this time it has been officially confirmed by Bayern that they sent an offer to Tottenham trying to transfer Kane for €70 million. But so far it seems that Tottenham refused the offer although Bayern and Kane have agreed upon the terms for a contract. That is what the news say but it is worthless as long as Tottenham doesn't agree to sell him for €70 million. Bayern knows that they don't have that many options to fix that problem now but I can see how Bayern is struggling to pay more for Kane. He isn't young anymore and the closer they get to the 100 million for this transfer, the higher the risk if course. If he gets injured, it would be a horrible situation for them as they would be in the same situation again.
In fact, such things have long been possible to hedge competently, simply by competently drawing up the transfer conditions. Well, I think that it will not reach 100 million euros, given the age of the player, although something close to this may well be formed taking into account some bonuses, such as that a player plays a certain number of matches in a season and scores a certain number of goals and then the amount for the transfer increases. I think Tottenham have two options for the sale price of Kane. One price, which is much higher for English clubs and another price is less for clubs not from England.

There isn't really much of a reason for them to charge less when he goes abroad to a club like Bayern Munich or Real Madrid. Both clubs don't care about minor differences in price and are able to stem a transfer of that magnitude. But with everything that has happened in the transfer market over the years, I still think that 100 million for Harry Kane is too much. Though if they can solve the issues all at once when they get him, it would be worth the money, but is Kane this kind of player who can play in any team and be successful? Or could he maybe have trouble to get a long with a new environment and different conditions like Mané?

Regarding Mason Mount, he had good performances in Chelsea and helped his teams while he is also a young player and he could be a good investment for this team while Chelsea is losing the players they have, and Mason Mount, is going to also leave this team while Arsenal is trying to hire this midfielder for the next season.
Chelsea lost many of their players in the transfer market this season. and now their new coach must quickly assemble their squad and prepare to start the new season.
I think MU is more interested in getting Mason Mount. it was even rumored that Mason Mount himself wanted to move to MU. unfortunately when MU submitted 3 bids to Chelsea and all were rejected. but if Arsenal is involved in these negotiations, I think MU may have to step down.

Chelsea has not really lost any players, but instead they are trying to get rid most of them. When a team plays a season like Chelsea did, what is the point of keeping most of the team for the next season as well?

Changes have been due here and Boehly is going for another shopping tour, but whether he will make the right decisions this time or whether he will mix more superstars together and hopes that he will find the right recipe will first need to be answered in a few weeks when the new season begins.

Yes, I saw it. From Mbappe's side, the math is clear: he has a guaranteed 150m from PSG next year if he stays + a year later he becomes a free agent and can get a signing bonus of, say, 100m from any club. Thus, now he is ready to change his status (a player with an expiring contract) only if it will be no less profitable than 250 million (150 from PSG and 100 from Real - well, or with some kind of discount from this amount, since he saves a year). It's just logical.
Yes, from the outside it looks like greed and impudence, but from a business point of view, this is 100% correct.

It depends... From a business point of view, yes it is 100% correct regarding the legitimacy of his requirements. But is it the right choice or course of action for his future career? This is where it becomes interesting because in reality we know that he doesn't want to stay, but he wants to leave and kick off his way to become a Real Madrid legend. Both clubs know that as well. If PSG does not move an inch from their position, will Mbappe really stick to the contract, take the money and let two more years of his career go up in dust? I am even skeptical now that I thought this through whether this would make sense from a business point of view over the whole course of his career plus the time after the career. If Michael Jordan stayed with some meaningless basketball club only because of money, he wouldn't be a multi-billionaire today. Mbappe should take into account more than just the money he can make within the next two years. An Mbappe in Real Madrid could become a world soccer player multiple times and that could increase his income manyfold for a long time.

From a sporting point of view, Mbappe has already buried some of his golden years in a Parisian swamp. As for finances, it is difficult to argue here - last year his contract seemed transcendental. Now this is no longer the case. What will happen next? I fully admit that due to the crisis, Europe will somehow be able to introduce a salary/budget cap on salaries, and in this case, his contract will again become significant and "historical" because no one can repeat it under the new conditions. There are many options and it is difficult to argue how to do better, so most players in this field play short-term strategies.
But I hope to see him at Real Madrid this summer.

I am not worried at all that clubs will find ways to circumvent salary caps. I don't know how precisely authorities would enforce salary cap rules, but couldn't clubs design payment plans similar to pension plans and stock up the base salary that way by delaying part of the payments into the future? If a real salary cap will be introduced, I would like to see in the subsequent years how those rules are enforced. Until there is no evidence of those rules to be enforced uncompromisingly, I don't trust those bold statements made by UEFA executives.

If Lukaku can continue with his performance then he is an important player as he had 16 scorer points in total in roughly 20 games I think. That is remarkable considering that he came from Chelsea and had lost all his confidence. He should not start any new experiments in his career and either stay with Inter Milan now and try to negotiate a contract that lasts for a few years or he should do something completely different, but not go to a club in Eruope like he tried with Chelsea. At his age it could mean a bad ending for him if he can't continue with his performance and ends up on the bench again.
You mean Lukaku will be with Inter Milan next season. Well, everything must be well aligned with the development of Lukaku status at Inter Milan for now because Lukaku loan period with Inter Milan will end this month. So there must be more appropriate steps that must be taken by Inter Milan for Lukaku if Inter Milan still wants to use his services next season, namely by permanent Lukaku from Chelsea. If Inter Milan doesn't do that I think Lukaku will play for another team next season because Chelsea will sell him when his loan ends this month. Indeed, if you look at his performances this season with Inter Milan, of course Lukaku has made an extraordinary contribution to Inter Milan front line where Lukaku is the second player after Martinez to score the most goals in the Inter Milan squad. Lukaku future is full of uncertainty because Inter Milan does not have a strong enough budget to make Lukaku status permanent. That is what has become an obstacle for Inter Milan in this matter.

Right the loan is over and Inter Milan would have to make an offer that Chelsea accepts. But Lukaku could get into a complicated situation when Chelsea received an offer from Saudi Arabia that is above that from Inter Milan, Chelsea would want to sell him to Saudi Arabia but he doesn't want to go there. But if he stays in Chelsea and Pochettino already made clear that Lukaku isn't part of his plans, he could end up sitting on the grandstand and not even be nominated for the games in the Premier League. That would be the worst case scenario for him but also an asshole move by Chelsea.

Ha if it was that easy they would do it, but what you mention here is something that they have been quarreling with for quite a while now. They are still hoping for some younger talents from their own youth to finally tackle the challenge and make it into the first team of Bayern Munich. That would save them a lot of money and there wouldn't be the urgency all the time to do something about their offensive problems. But there is no Thomas Muller right now in their youth teams. Muller was the discovery of the year back then when Louis van Gaal gave him a chance. But the business has become too fast and you can't be patiently waiting for a talent to emerge from your own youth teams, you have to solve them problem immediately with cash. The chances for young talents from the own youth teams are also vanishing as they don't have time to prove they could be worth a try.
Actually talking about current talent there is one that can be looked at for next season like now they will try to maximize Ryan Gravenberch or Musiala but indeed this is back again they are only midfielders trying to improve the quality of attacks but there is still no striker who can be used as benchmark in this case.
As you said buying with money is a short way to do it but until now they haven't done that yet and their focus is still on Kane. I was expecting other options but until now when talking about strikers Bayern still seem to be focused on Kane and when that doesn't work it will be a bit of a problem.

There is again something in the making around Kane and this time it has been officially confirmed by Bayern that they sent an offer to Tottenham trying to transfer Kane for €70 million. Mbappé is a player who has a lot to prove at PSG, he is the player who is the most technical up to now and the one who has the whole team to himself, he should take advantage if he stays at PSG, as such, he wanted to get many out players, including Neymar, in part they have already left PSG a lot, he can reign as he wants, personally I don't think he will go to Real Madrid, saying no to Madrid is saying no forever, to Madrid, any player who accepts their offer is not worthy of having a second chance, they have shown it that way and they have continued to do it that way, I don't think they will start inventing to put a player above the club, that has never happened, at least in the white club no.

As is well known, this player has an eo that is too high, perhaps this is what is closing the doors for him, if everything they say or what is being speculated happens, I insist, I do not think he will go to Madrid, but not because of him, but because they don't want him at the club anymore, that they don't say it up front is something else.

But what is the chance that Mbappe saying he loves Paris and he wants to stay at PSG is meant seriously? i never thought when I watched him play for PSG that he is a happy player, someone who enjoys being where he is right now and who is giving his best in every single game he is playing for that club. He had that dream when PSG told him that they are going to buy all those that they could bring the Champions League title to Paris, but now with all those players parting ways this dream is gone and while everybody makes decisions for their career, he will be the next one to leave PSG. It would leave me speechless if he touches the grass as a PSG player in a few weeks from now.

As Dzeko is about to join Fenerbahçe and Lukaku is also about to leave the team I wonder what Inter are planning to do. Because they will need to bring at least one centre-forward to the team in this case. Even one might not be enough in the long run thinking of injury or suspension cases as well. One of these strikers should be a reliable one who can make a good duo with Martinez and the other one can be just a good substitute player who can do well when there is a need for him.
It looks like Marcus Thuram deal is about to become official for Inter already. He is a decent scorer but his being versatile is also an advantage for Inter. Because he can even play as a left winger and his stats there so far have been really nice too.
2 players who have been part of their squad up front this season will leave the team and that will leave a void in that position. I'm sure Inter Milan probably already know what they will do with the departure of their 2 players, and indeed they have to find a replacement to fill the void, unless they will entrust the players they have now, or they are playing not like last season and just put Martinez in that position.
The transfer market is still quite long and they still have time to bring in the players they want, including the signing of Thuram who is rumored to be joining Inter Milan soon.

I am pretty sure that Lukaku is going to end up playing for Inter permanently. And I actually also think that he is going to perform well for inter. That is going to increase the power of Inter which is eventually going to hurt Milan.

Milan should realise that the performance that they put on in the last season was mid. So they will have to improve their performance very quickly. And they will also have to improve the squad. All the other top teams are actually improving the squad most of the transfer market and here we have Milan, who does not have that strong of a squad, and still are not making important changes that they should.

If Lukaku can continue with his performance then he is an important player as he had 16 scorer points in total in roughly 20 games I think. That is remarkable considering that he came from Chelsea and had lost all his confidence. Right now most chances Harry Kane for any other club then England is not going to happen because Tottenham is already asking for the price which is not acceptable for any other club in this all situation most chances he will stay here in Tottenham or Manchester United will be doing something as they are also looking for the central striker.

But in last few weeks, we also have rumors about Vlahović which is looking for the another club and right now Real Madrid and Bayern Munich both are looking for him but currently nothing is clear because things will be clear in next few weeks without any doubt Robert Lewandowski is bog lost for the Bayern Munich, but now they need to look forward and most chances they will find solid replacement as well.

How much does Tottenham want for Kane? In my opinion, from the latest news there was information that Bayern is negotiating with Kane now. And if I'm not mistaken, this is not Bayern's first attempt to get Kane, especially since Lewandowski left the team. Mane did not live up to expectations and did not become the leader of the attack, so this is an urgent issue for Bayern. I would like to see what Kane is capable of in Bayern, in a team that is aimed at attacking Kane would have ideal conditions.
Manchester United doesn't have a reliable central 9 but there are still players there that the team can depend on in terms of goal scoring.  There is a high level of dependency and competition among these players. Rashford,  Sancho, and Antony are still dependable.  Harry Kane may not have a good moment at Manchester United and he has stayed in England long enough.  If achievements should come into consideration, I don't think Manchester can help Kane reach his goal as fast as Bayern Munich will. I think he will go for Bayern

Are you referring to Rashford mostly in regards to Manchester United? They have Rashford, but Bayern also has a couple of players who are good offensively and could play a false nine, but they don't have this one deadly striker who scores goals similar to Lewandowski. He left a gap that could almost never be filled except for a few times when they scored a lot of goals in a single game. But whenever it became difficult to find a way through the narrow defense lines of the opponent, it was the same problem again. They didn't have a striker who took responsibility and went for the opener.

If they choose to play without a central 9, offensive players with impressive striking qualities are even more indispensable and when these offensive players have good days and bad days, the whole team is stuck on the bad days and it needs Kimmich or even other more defensive players to score.

When PSG offered Mbappe that contract, they obviously knew what salary they would pay him and considered it normal for his services. In principle, if he works for another year and then leaves (even if for free), PSG will not be in the red, as they will get what they expected and for which they signed the contract. I am sure that Mbappe is a professional and he will earn 100% of his salary, another thing is that everyone understands that there is a bargaining going on now, since Mbappe will still leave PSG this summer with a 99.99% probability.

Have a look at this . This is maximum greed at its best. I can't blame him for anything and I don't even want to because he is the best player in the world or one of them and he can dictate the conditions for a transfer, but now he wants the €150 m from PSG that he would have earned next season when he leaves club now. I am confused because I have no idea whether I comprehend what's going on, but the trick he wants to play here is that PSG would be slightly better off giving him the money and selling him this year than letting him go for free and paying him the €150 m.

Mbappe's case become even more complicated as per some news that were coming from PSG. Even it's also involving mbappe's mother as reported by marca
https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2023/06/23/6495b025ca4741095b8b45ce.html

It seems like that's become the main reason why there are rumors if PSG wants 250m for him. I don't even think PSG wanna give him that big amount of money.
Mbappe is now threatening PSG. PSG is in a big lose if PSG was not selling mbappe right now caused by he will be leaving from the club with a free agent but at the same time PSG must have paid very big compensation for him.

That makes me feel curious about what's agreements between mbappe and PSG in the past.

When PSG offered Mbappe that contract, they obviously knew what salary they would pay him and considered it normal for his services. I always found it a  bit weird to calculate how much Qatar spent on the cup because technically speaking they didn't spend that much on the cup but on the nation. Like they included every road, hospital, hotel, school, houses, and of course stadiums. Now I can understand stadiums, maybe hotels could make "some" sense, but when we are talking about roads? Really? I have seen they had a line that said 1.3 billion on the roads, come on man if you didn't had that specific road then you should have and don't include that.

I think it's overblown and they added every single thing that is possible into the calculation and made a wrong one. That way it looked so high that they actually deserved to get it but I feel like they didn't deserve it at all.

Spending on infrastructure for the country really can not be considered spending on hosting the World Cup, but if this infrastructure is redundant at normal times (when there is no influx of tourists)? After all, before the World Cup, I didn't hear that there was a shortage of roads, electricity, hospitals or anything like that in Qatar. This means that additional spending on infrastructure was necessary and they can still be taken into account as spending on holding the World Cup.

There is some natural limit to the infrastructure requirements for a country of the size of Qatar. But if a small country like that hosts a World Cup and wants to impress the worldwide audience, there is no need to say that they are spending a lot of money that they would not spend on infrastructure otherwise. They are not hosting a World Cup every few years and would need additional infrastructure permanently. KTChampions correctly said that there was no shortage of anything that was publicly talked about and yet they spent hundreds of billions toward infrastructure upgrades and improvements. Workers began dismantling stadiums in December 2022 already and while there is no need to dismantle any additional streets, it doesn't mean that new streets or hotels still have been built for the only purpose to serve guests during the World Cup.

It was quite difficult to sign Kane from Tottenham, and actually I also agree that maybe Bayern Munich should make repeated searches for younger players. This is a funny thought to me, I mean we know that their rivals are good youngsters, so they really just have to wait for Borussia Dortmund to create new youngsters and then they buy, like they did with Lewandoski.  Grin

853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 24, 2023, 09:20:15 PM

Bayern Munich did not benefit from Sadio Mané. Sadio Mané's style of play does not match Munich's style of play. And so I'd say Bayern Munich better not have high expectations of Sadio Mané. We are not sure if this news means he will join Liverpool. However, the possibility of Sadio Mané joining the league in Saudi Arabia seems very unlikely to me. Because Sadio Mané is only 31 years old. Now he will definitely want to play in a competitive league. Sadio Mané would be interested in staying with a Serie A or Premier League team.
I cannot really pinpoint the cause of Sadio Mane’s inability to replicate his fine form as he had at Liverpool before joining Bayern Munich. Before moving to the Bayern Munich, Mané was the engine of the Liverpool team and they felt his absence greatly when he left the club. I must admit that I expected much more from him after hearing of his controversial move away from EPL. Things have not been easy for him in the Bundesliga, maybe he should consider returning to EPL.

Never change a running system!

This is difficult for him because of his age and now everyone could see that it hasn't been going well for him although he was one of the star transfers for Bayern Munich as it was labeled back when he went from Liverpool to them. But he could never justify the star label. Bayern paid money for him that they would try to mitigate as much as possible concerning the damage a sale would cause now. But which club would be willing to buy him? It would not be one of the top four or top six clubs in the EPL. It could be a club further from the bottom of the table. It was said that he is only 31 years old, but I think that age is only negligible when you are playing almost perfect seasons like Lewandowski or Benzema did. But when you are 31 and you played a bad season, it is a negative attribute to factor in in transfer decisions.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 24, 2023, 09:07:33 PM

The last thing that i have read regarding Harry Kane Was, that he already decided that he will not join  Bayern Munich. I don't know though if this was justca rumor or if it was actually true. I personally think that Kane will not join Bayern and i am not unhappy a out that to be honest. He definitely is a great striker, but i don't think Bayern should pay more than 100 million €of transfer fee for a player that is already 30 years old. For that amount of money you can also get much younger players.

Bayern Munich is seeking a player to fill Lewandovki's place in their team and that's why they start negotiations with Harry Kane, however checking the performance of Kane he couldn't have a good performance like Lewandovki in Tottenham but we know he can be a good option for a team like Bayern Munich.

It looks like Bayern are still a little insistent with their desire for Kane but of course this is also not an easy thing because even though there are many offers from several big clubs and even we saw before about rumors of Madrid but Tottenham still doesn't budge and allows now like that.
Kane has been rumored for quite some time with Bayern but things are still the same without any clarity whatsoever and this goes back to just rumours.
Now if they intend to be right then their bid should at least be bigger because if I'm not mistaken in some of the rumours with Madrid, Tottenham put Kane's price tag at over 100 million for their release clause and of course this won't be easy if it's a normal price- so-so from Bayern.

It's also a waiting game between the big clubs because when Mbappe goes to Real Madrid, Bayern knows that they could try and get Kane for less money than Tottenham would ask for otherwise. But I would like to see Bayern to pick a younger top striker or their search will have to be repeated in two or three years from now. But it is not know if Kane wants to Bayern or whether he would only be ready to leave the Premier League for Real Madrid. If he wants titles, he has to leave Tottenham but maybe he isnÄt so obsessed of winning titles, but rather play very well and then see what's possible.

@tiCer personally I feel that Ronaldo should not be recalled for an international match unless it’s his farewell match because there’s not much that he can offer to the team. Furthermore the Portugal coach should move on from the Ronaldo era and start building a team for the future and once again I’ll say that call Ronaldo but only to offer him a farewell nothing more.

@Juggy777 whether you and I like it or not, but Ronaldo has one thing for him going and that is that he still scores goals. And he doesn't score only any trivial goals like the 4-0 in the 80th minute, but the winning goal or the only goal of the game in the last minutes. As long as he can do that, it will be hard to remove him from the national team and again, if he scores those goals there is also not really a reason to remove him. I agree that he doesn't contribute to the team as a whole besides those goals and that works for as long as there is a crisis and he doesn't score this one goal that the needed. I am sure that then the moment will come when the whole team is against him either in the form of being silent and letting him fight the public on his own or by really saying those words against him.

If this statement holds true, the enduring companies would be those that possess genuine and robust business models, rather than relying on investors who simply pour money in with the aim of making profits. While we are familiar with or aware of numerous prominent AI start-ups, there are countless others that never even had the chance to materialize. Some of these start-ups faced the unfortunate situation where their founders raised funds, only to squander the money on luxurious cars or extravagant vacations, leaving the start-up to perish. Thus, I disagree with the notion that we are currently in an AI start-up bubble.

Investors with the aim of making profit are the people who made the capitalistic world work and develop. I am not giving my opinion here on whether or not I like capitalism, but without capital most of the applications and tools and services we use today would have never been possible in the first place. Pouring money into research and development is the key to progress. ChatGPT was co-founded by Elon Musk. Google is funneling massive capital into AI. Almost all of these startups had a head start with venture capital. That is how it works.
857  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Inflation Happening All Over the World At Once? on: June 23, 2023, 05:39:05 PM
IMO, Fiat is monopoly money, going back and forth is also wrong. The higher the interest rate, the greater the inflation and if the interest rate is lowered, the inflation will remain the same, but the effect will be different. because it is the monopoly nature that refers to the fact that only the government has the authority to print or issue such fiat.

Because Inflation is a complex economic phenomenon that is influenced by many factors as well, including monetary policy, fiscal policy, demand and supply and external factors such as commodity prices. Inflation can also be affected by global events, such as fluctuations in world oil prices or changes in international trade policies. So, inflation occurs all over the world because there are factors that are interrelated and vary in each country. That's why inflation occurs all at once throughout the world.

I coincidentally saw your post here and read that you believe higher interest rates increase inflation, but do you understand why the FED increased interest rates significantly for a while now? Because higher interest rates incentivize people to hoard their money instead of spending it, thereby removing it from circulation. Higher interest rates are supposed to decrease inflation and that does not only count for daily purchases in the super market, but also to the real estate market. A hike in interest rates make it harder for people to borrow money, buy a house and repay the mortgage. Less mortgage-financed houses means less demand for houses, means house prices go down as less demand meets more or less stable supply. I say more or less stable because I assume that the supply side is less elastic to interest changes than the demand side. I actually didn't check that, it is my assumption. But to summarize, increased interest rates are supposed to decrease inflation, not to increase it.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: 85% of AI start-ups will fail within 3 years. on: June 23, 2023, 05:26:35 PM
This is an opinion piece. 85% of AI start-ups will fail within 3 years. Link to article. That's what they have said. But what do we think. We use the internet everyday and may even be using one or two AI tools to help us become organized, productive and efficient. Hundreds of AI start-ups are spring up everywhere everyday - while some are jumping in without due diligence some, some are doing it for the money while some others what to make an impact. The AI startups boom is compared to the dot-com bubble where a lot of them failed. Some AI start-ups are: Open AI, Frame AI, Jasper, Drafter AI, Smartly.ai.
What do you think, are we experiencing an AI startup boom like the dot-com bubble? And do you think that 85% of them will fail within 3 years?

85% could even be optimistic, but it also depends on whether you mean fail or disappear. Some of them could also disappear because they most likely get bought out by the Internet giants if they have something unique to offer in the field of AI. Musk is often talking about what is coming and also mentioned Google and Larry Page and what they have already developed behind closed doors.

Google will be one of those giants leading the field, but even Meta or Tesla won't hesitate to buy out smaller AI businesses in case they see potential. It is a good bet these days to build a business around AI if there is a unique approach to a problem or a demand that people are themselves not yet aware of. Either you serve a demand or you evoke a demand, for instance like midjourney.com

That's what I think about the future industry of AI. I could see how a few big soak up many of the smaller companies and it is not like there is thousands of Ai businesses around the corner. A lot of that stuff will also work in a backend format and we only use it without actually understanding or even knowing what we are using. It will become an integral part of our lives seamlessly.

At an increasingly old age, many other players have started to have no faith in Ronaldo and there have been many cases where one of his own team, if in front of the opponent's goal, prefers to shoot directly rather than having to provide feedback to Ronaldo to have a chance to score.
For the Portuguese national team, I admit Ronaldo has been very meritorious and has provided many goals for Portugal.
If it is said who will surpass Ronaldo's achievements in scoring goals, I have two player options, namely Mbappe and also Haaland.

It's not that, he also has a very bulky temper and ego
you must always play for the team and not for yourself, if you pass the ball to a teammate you have more chances to score, the team comes before you
at least so I think
Yes, I know that Ronaldo has a very big temperament and ego. Not infrequently, he often experiences debates and several small disputes with his team-mates.
But actually Ronaldo is a very great player and he even always manages to take advantage of opportunities to score goals, it's just that there have been several incidents where his team-mates have started not to trust Ronaldo to be able to score goals.
But this is also a natural thing because every player wants to have the opportunity to score goals and become a player who can bring his team to victory.

Keep in that Ronaldo not trusted and often fights with his own colleagues even though he is one of the greatest players.

He has again made one of these statements that make him no more popular among his team mates. He is doing it knowing that this doesn't increase the team's aspiration to act and feel like a united group of players. it was again about his ego and how many records he is holding and that he isn't hunting the records, but the records are hunting him. It's ok if thinks that but why should he rub all those words straight into his team mates' faces in public? It helps as long as he makes the goals and wins the games, but it doesn't help when they get into a crisis. They wouldn't be willing to help each other then. But he is who he is and that is never going to chance Smiley

I'm wondering how Dortmund is going to perform in the Bundesliga and this time just like the last two seasons we saw from Dortmund I'm waiting to see another young talent growing up in this team like they had Haalnd and Jude Bellingham before and they sold both.
Maybe this time Dortmund will sell another young talent to mean more just like what they did in the past.

What they have done in the last season is about what they did in the seasons before as well. i mean the overall result. But when their goal is to finally overturn Bayern's dominance in the Bundesliga, the result has to be much better this time and I say much better because I don't believe that Bayern will underdeliver again like they did last season. Often times when Bayern got into danger or their titles got into danger, the response was that they became much better afterwards. And it would be nothing but a surprise if they have the same chaos again. Therefore, if Dortmund wants the top of the table, there can't be any excuses in any of the games that are a must win game on paper. They have to meet the expectations then.

That's their business and how they earn money for their team. Maybe their first goal is to earn money and just be on top of the table to get the champions league ticket.
Been more than ten years since we didn't see Dortmund win the Bundesliga title and from what we can see they are not even trying hard for it.

It is not so much about their business and their choice, but about they money they have available. Borussia Dortmund is a publicly listed company and they owe justification to their shareholders. It is not always an advantage for a club to be publicly listed as we can see here because their goal was to raise money and invest it into the team back when they went public. Now it is hard to go full rogue and make a decision and say something like "we don't sell player X for 120m" because if it goes wrong their share price will suffer and shareholders want an explanation. They have now to find a good spot for their decision making processes and for now they can't compete with Bayern and, consequently, not with rich clubs from abroad.
