Actually real Madrid will definitely lose this game against this Girona, so that they use the opportunity to take over the top standing from them, even though that real Madrid has been tough team, Girona will sure them that their also in good form this season. I wouldn't be really surprised if at the end of the final whistle, real Madrid is found on the loosing side I won't be really surprised although I'm not expecting such but then I know how things can really turn around in football so I will not really be surprised to see that happen moreover Girona has really good performance so far. During the last months, there were many players who tried to play for Barcelona and they offered themselves to play for this team. However since Xavi is going to leave Barcelona, they prefer to hire a new coach but talking about a player, Enzo Fernández can be an interesting option for them.  I think Barcelona needs to strike a balance when it comes to young talents and well experienced superstars. Some of the players are too old and I doubt that Lewandowski is a solution for the future. They need to accelerate their endeavors to sign top players and become competitive again as I think that they will quickly get eliminated from the Champions League. They may be able to make it into the quarterfinals, but I doubt that they are good enough to go beyond the quarterfinals stage. Barcelona has been doing well with young talents sometimes, but it is not the only solution they should be after. Chelsea has never been poor in the sense that they had to feel as if they were poor, but the amount of money they invested is so unreal that no fan in the world can now understand why they should fail with their project. If you have an explanation, then go for it and explain it to the world! But the win against Aston Villa was a big one as it wasn't just some close game with a happy ending for Chelsea, but it was a convincing performance with several goals and Chelsea was in control. When I look at the matchups I think that the most difficult to predict result can the Napoli v Barcelona and Inter v Atlético Madrid. Xavi Hernandez is doing just fine with the club and he already made a statement about him pushing through the exits door at the end of 2023/2024 La Liga campaign. I think you are right. Currently PSG is known for having world-class forward players. I think I only really know Mbappe and to be honest I don't really know the other PSG players. I mean, only Mbappe is often in the spotlight in various sports media. I think it is right for team management to look for potential defenders and midfielders in this transfer market. But the problem is that I heard rumors that Mbappe is not extending his contract with PSG and that means if PSG doesn't sell him then he will be on a free transfer and that will be very detrimental to PSG. So I think PSG also needs to look for another striker in this transfer market if they don't want to lose their dominance in the league.  There are of course a couple of other names that are quite well known, but in the past PSG thought when they have Messi, Neymar and Mbappe that they would instantly win the Champions League because of that. They then neglected their defensive line and especially the midfield. If you compare the midfield of Manchester City with the midfield of PSG in the years 2018-2023, I think you can quickly see that the difference in the quality of the players is gigantic. Thats football for you, there is never any certainty to what can happen and that's why I don't even put hope on teams. Football has so many scenes that one would be surprised to how it happened and that's what makes the game so interesting to watch and you would ask yourself why is it the most watched sport and this same reason is among the reason for it being so. After Newcastle going two goals down, I was certain that there is no way back and then it all changed and Newcastle turned the tide around. It is certainly the fun part about football, but sometimes it is so absurd that I believe I can't trust my eyes. The game Newcastle - Luton Town was such a game... What a game between Arsenal and Liverpool. Arsenal had a high number of chances and especially in the first half of the game they controlled the ball and the game more than Liverpool did. I thought when Liverpool scored the equalizer that it will be like a wake up call for them, but they could only increase their ball possession without creating a lot of opportunities. This is a bummer for Liverpool and significant progress for Arsenal. |

They found their master every single time and it was close one more time when they got eliminated by Real Madrid after they had the lead, but I think it was Donnaruma who made a massive mistake and destroyed their game. But this season I agree that there chance is quite little to win it or even reach the final. Ajax - PSV is starting soon. Looks that odds for PSV dropped recently, now it's 1.95. So probably there was lot of ads made on their win. Despite few recent not so good results like draw in league in loss against Feyenoord in cup, PSV is still favorites.
Usually we see plenty of goals when these teams face each other, and odds for BTTS and over 2.5 goals is so low that not even worth to combine it. Other option is going with bigger number of goals or totals of each team separately.
It is not that this game matters for the Eredivisie championship, but it is still a great game in the league. Too bad that Ajax Amsterdam struggled so much that this game has no meaning for the determination of the title winner. But for Ajax Amsterdam a win could be of great importance in the competition for the 2nd rank. I think not all hope is lost yet to still make it into the Champions League, but no doubt that this is a tough mission to complete. The match between Sheffield United and Aston Villa already started. Just in 30 minutes plus Aston Villa has already scored about four goals in the game. Am not surprised that the match went this way because i know Sheffield United do not have what it takes to win Aston Villa. They are indeed a relegation team. I dont see them as a competitor in the premier league title but as a team that can be an obstruction to those teams who are on the race for the title. If they are able to secure a draw in any match they are contented. It seems that they will ho for relegation by the end of this EPL season followed by some other teams that are the bottom of the table. I think there will always be challenges in football, and I'm sure Manchester City can overcome them well, because the Pep Guardiola factor is still with them on the sidelines. When Pep had to rack his brains to experiment in determining his starting XI, I think Pep is one of the best at the moment. With Manchester City and Liverpool in the FA Cup, Manchester United's chances of winning seem slim. Bruno Fernandez is a top-notch player, and his attitude AND talent benefit the squad. United's path to the FA Cup final won't be easy even with a player like him. Early matches against Bristol City or Nottingham Forest may be lucky, but the later stages will test them. For Marcus Rashford, I think the club's substantial fine is tough but necessary. On and off the field, discipline sets the team's tone. You are bringing up the decisive point actually. Bruno Fernandez is nice to have, but he is limited in enfolding his attitude and talent only in so far as his teammates can live up to that same level of play. That's a problem. This doesn't mean that Manchester United is a bad team, they are all great footballers. But looking at the best of the best, there is still a pretty big gap if we were to do a player-by-player comparison between Manchester City and Manchester United. There won't be many United players that effectively match the strength of their City counterpart. |

Liverpool are far ahead and they are far ahead of Man City in terms of points It is very difficult to predict how well a team will play in football. While Man City has always been ahead of all other teams in the Premier League, they have not been able to overtake Liverpool in any way. And Arsenal and Man City are facing many challenges
Liverpool are not "far" ahead of City, the reds have 51 points whilst City are on 46 points (but with a game in hand), thus it is just a difference of 5 points, that could potentially be 2. Arsenal on the other hand are also on 46 points, though without any game in hand. Things are so close in and around the summit and there are still quite a lot of games left to be played in the EPL this season, so positions can change at anytime. This is 100% correct because "far ahead" is something different in the Premier League. In some other leagues, 5 points is a lot because there is no real competition, but 5 points in the Premier League can be made up for in no time. On March 9th Liverpool is expecting Manchester City at Anfield Road and that's when Manchester City can take back the lead the latest, assuming that Liverpool would win all games until then and Manchester City, too. But there are all these top games where Liverpool could drop points. |
