841  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANX launches world's first Bitcoin Debit Card powered by an exchange on: July 28, 2014, 04:16:02 PM
Transaction Type (per transaction)   Fee Deducted from
ATM Withdrawal $2.75   Debit Card
ATM Withdrawal Decline $1.25 Debit Card
POS Purchase $1.50 Debit Card
POS Purchase Decline $0.20 Debit Card
Monthly Fee N/A N/A
Card Load Fee $5 USD+2.5% of total amount ANX Account
Card Unload Fee $10 USD Debit Card

Thank you for that. It was impossible to get that information here.

Either you guys dont understand me or you are intentionally dodging very simple questions:
Is the issuer of the cards levying any additional fees or using different exchange rates than Visas official one?

Only visa official ones when i said bank rates i was refering to visa rates.
Regards

I wonder what surprises you guys have up your sleeve next.
Maybe the 3% currency conversion fee mBank is charging?

Hmm... I don't think so, but I am not going to promise anything, since I'm just a support member. I personally hope they don't add any more fees.
Fees and other information is available in the ANXPRO FAQ, or you can just ask me.
842  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] AdBit.co - Advertising platform, better than clicks/views! on: July 28, 2014, 03:36:04 PM
Everything appears to be working fine now.

I'm very sorry for this incident.

Would it be possible to add a feature that allows advertisers to see the impressions and clicks received from the sites, to see which site to advertise on more?
Definitely.

That should be available on the next big release.

So, when is this BIG release? Any ETA?

What is the formula used for this site?

Anyone know?

Do you mean the diceroll? You can simply go to the "Verification" tab and read it.

As there seems to be quite a bit of confusion regarding the Fees for using the Card, here is what I got from support in respons to my question:

Debid Card fees (acording to anx customer support):

Transaction Type (per transaction)   Fee Deducted from
ATM Withdrawal $2.75   Debit Card
ATM Withdrawal Decline $1.25 Debit Card
POS Purchase $1.50 Debit Card
POS Purchase Decline $0.20 Debit Card
Monthly Fee N/A N/A
Card Load Fee $5 USD+2.5% of total amount ANX Account
Card Unload Fee $10 USD Debit Card

I am just in the process of ordering my Card, I will give a feedback once I have recived and used it.

Yes, those fees are correct. The customer above you was just a bit confused.
846  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ANX launches ANXPRO, support for Altcoins and AUD Direct Banking, 0 Fees! on: July 28, 2014, 12:27:50 PM
ANXPRO charges trading fees as low as 0.05%, and we don't charge any transaction fees to trade bitcoins.
Sure, we will update the OP.

No, but when you are on ANXPRO, you can see the fees before every trade you execute, depending on the type of the order.
While placing market order or fill or kill order the fee is written as 0.60%, when placing limit order the fee is written as 0.30%.
It is far higher then mentioned 0.05%.

I suggest you to build a page "fee structure" and link it in the platform site footer, as the footer is the place where everybody would look for such information in the first place. Currently fee structure is very confusing.

For some very high volume traders, the fees are as low as 0.05%. For regular customers, it might be higher, but it depends on your volume.
Thank you for the suggestion, we'll look into that. Meanwhile, be sure to check out our other features!

It's not an issue. It's a feature. "Last message" includes logging in, sending PMs, searching, etc.
850  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANX launches world's first Bitcoin Debit Card powered by an exchange on: July 28, 2014, 09:55:07 AM
...

If I load 1btc into the card and the current market price is $600. How much will I have on the debit card?
Do you charge exchange fee on top of the recharge fee?
1btc x $600 - ?% exchange fee - 2.5% recharge fee

No, we don't charge an exchange fee if all you do is load up your card. It would be

1BTC x $600 x 0.975 = $585.

I´m thinking about ordering the debit card.

However I still have a question about this example, because I live in Europe and therefore I will probably pay additional
fees if I withdraw at an ATM with the debit card because of the involved currency conversion.

On VISAs homepage I only find the statement:
Quote
Your payment service provider may or may not apply currency conversion fees. Refer to your issuer’s terms and conditions to find out more about this.

That means that basically you as ANX are responsible for the fees? Or is there a third party from which you get the VISA cards?

Please simply update the example for a citizen from Europe  Grin
1BTC x $600 x 0.975 * x.xxx = $xxx

Thank you for your help.

Assuming that the current price is $600, and you load the card with 1BTC and then immediately withdraw from ATM, you would get:
0.966875BTC

And then, when you withdraw, 0.00458333333BTC would be deducted, leaving you with 0.96229166667BTC.
851  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: July 28, 2014, 09:44:05 AM
So here is a question from the new kid on the block.

I recently started mining at pb as well. Most of you guys started months ago and past the break even point. As the difficulty goes up is it still worth to start investing (or re-investing) or is it too late to be profitable?

And this is a question just for your speculation/gut feeling, not one to discuss electricity costs as such Smiley

Nothing is ever too late, but no one will know how future difficulty rises (or falls, hopefully).
So no one really knows if it's really profitable or not.

byt,

I did read that and I am aware. I was just hoping to get a quick 24 hr loan funded. I am no scammer.

https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/factor280/

Yes, that proves that you have conducted trades with 3 people on LocalBitcoins that you are trusted, but that doesn't mean you will pay back.

854  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What kind of computer to buy to mine bitcoins? on: July 28, 2014, 04:24:06 AM

I would need to compare the cost of S3 to S1.

I am just starting out mining, so dont want to pay too much to start, but I dont want the smallest thing out there either.

Where should I shop for Antminer?

Directly from Bitmaintech.com.
855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud mining difficulty on: July 28, 2014, 04:21:40 AM
Cloud mining and having a physical miner is the same.  Cheesy

No it's not, don't mislead people. Your electricity costs might be higher and you might not know how to do maintenance, and that's why you do cloud mining. It's less hassle and less noise.
856  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What kind of computer to buy to mine bitcoins? on: July 28, 2014, 04:20:30 AM

That is good news that I dont need to buy a different computer to mine bitcoins.
So, windows vista is ok to use with Antminer to mine bitcoins?

What about the S1 Antminer? cost less than the S3, and i am just starting out so would it be good to learn more
about mining on an S1

what came before the S1? Is there a chronological list of old miner machines?

I think an S3 might cost about $1800, whereas a new S1 is maybe $200 , according to what i saw at ebay anyways.

I get free electricity.

No, the S3 costs $372 or 0.64BTC, but it has a MOQ of 2, and you will need to get your own PSU.
Please don't buy miners on ebay. You're just getting ripped off.
857  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud mining difficulty on: July 28, 2014, 03:57:45 AM
The short answer is don't buy a cloud mining contract.

As difficulty goes up your revenue per day will go down. The difficulty has been increasing by  roughly 20% every 12 days or so. This means that after just a few months your revenue will be almost nothing on a contract that lasts years.

I personally don't see a cloud company yet as a viable option with current options Ive looked into.  But 20 percent also has not been true on last changes.  I have heard experts talk about difficulty and it's pretty varying on what they think will happen.    The 20 can't go on forever, I hope it's done for now.  but only time will tell.  But last few have been much better then the old standard of 20.
It will eventually get to the point so that the most efficient miners can mine 1 BTC while using 1 BTC worth of electricity in places where electricity is the cheapest.

No, that makes no sense at all.
If a miner mines 1 BTC using 1 BTC worth of electricity, why would people mine? Duh.
In places with cheap electricity, such as $0.04/kwh, An Antminer S3 can mine 0.01183710BTC while consuming 0.0005676BTC worth of electricity per day. That's what I call profitable.
Check your maths please.
858  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What kind of computer to buy to mine bitcoins? on: July 28, 2014, 03:51:47 AM
The new S3's do not require a computer besides setup.  Really I would do ROI on any gpu mining, for most there is not profit.

As far as setup on S3's any computer that can do internet can do it really, does not take power to pull up page.  Just right network settings.

Thank you for answering my question.

Now I need to figure out the cost of Antminers.

Should I buy new Antminer or buy a used Antminer?

Get an Antminer S3, used or new, if you can. But the thing is that if you have no idea what you are doing, don't mine.

Lol..yes I did. He was a beta developer for clever mining. No need to tell me how newbie I am or to be in anyway discriminative about my person. You or Him dont know me and or know what I do. They make you an admin? Or is it your senior status that has gone to your head.

All this comment has done is prove your stupidity again. Where the heck does it say that I was a beta developer for CleverMining?
I don't have to "handle a situation". You should thank me for repeatedly pointing you to the correct answer, and not ignoring you. Be grateful.

I (we all) know you need a certain post count to get paid for your signature for PrimeDice. It looks to me like you are using the CleverMining thread just to keep that count up and being a BULLY at the same time.

I personally think that abusing others verbally (with typed words Wink ) isn't on  Angry

Maybe you should let Terk answer his own questions if it makes you so angry with other people  Roll Eyes

Why you try to make out that you are better than everyone else is beyond me Wink

Ps If you look back at my posts on this thread you will see they are to do with my balance that stops getting exchanged from immature and unexchanged as soon as I stop mining.

This is still the case and it doesn't matter how many times you or Terk say it's not.

I occasionally mine at waffle, when I stop mining there, all balances get exchanged and paid leaving my account with a balance of 0.0000000btc

Not sure why it doesn't happen here but I'm sure you and Terk will have an answer for all of us stupid/newbie users with immature and unexchanged balances that NEVER change to "Ready for Payout" Wink

No, I have more than 50 posts and it has nothing to do with that. What I am trying to do is help people I don't understand, people that can't even bother to read, and some trolls.
Trolls? You might ask. Yes, trolls.

Hi
I just want to say keep it up I am enjoying your pool. Only have one g blade at the moment but have ordered around 10 more will be arriving in about 3 weeks time. So obviously my mh will go up by 10. What I am trying to figure out. I have mined at a lot of different pools and everyone has there problems. I just find the clevermining great and although I dont want to put all my eggs in one basket would it seem advisable to point them all here.I need conformation struggling to make the decision.

Yip that I do , have backup pools . No my internal struggle is there is a pool with higher btc per day , but they have had problems in the last two months , I have actually lost coins as a result. I have been here for a month and haven't had a hitch except for the 24 hour hashrate circle, but graphs were up so miners were still working. Otherwise it is a smooth operation. But thanks anyway.

And then later, he is trolling, or he has amnesia. WTF.

Hi if I may can I ask a question how do I become a member of your private club or server

Now, Terk is very busy, and many questions asked here are standard ones that can be found by reading the last few pages of this thread, the OP, or the FAQ. People don't read. That's the truth.

You said that you have a problem with unexchanged balances. What is your address?

I'd rather keep my address private, I will pm it if it's that important (as I told Terk) but I doubt it is as he never asked for it, just gave a generic reply saying he'd be dealing with it at the weekend, this was AT LEAST a couple of months ago Wink

Let me know what you think of the picture Wink

Please remember, it doesn't matter if it's pennies or pounds, it's the principle.

There's an old saying in the UK. Look after your pennies and the Pounds will look after themselves. Maybe Terk already knows this and is taking full advantage of the fact that most people don't bother with looking after their pennies Wink

I doubt it's that. What's your total mined?
