841  Other / Meta / Re: How about leaving - feedback on hacked account once verified proof. on: June 08, 2018, 01:31:40 PM
Any account, once proved hacked, is red tagged as soon as a DT member comes to know about it. And your account, that you claim has been hacked, has been tagged already by Lauda.
842  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrencies in the Middle East: from Approval to Haram on: June 08, 2018, 10:29:45 AM
Yes and is this text from you? https://medium.com/assetrush/cryptocurrencies-in-the-middle-east-from-approval-to-haram-c7b0c58c2c95

Funny you received a merit just after the post too.

And the funniest thing is that he did not even remove the sentence where the original writers of article have mentioned their website "assetrush.com".

It is not actually a bad thing to share information with the community, but if you are copy pasting them from somewhere, you are supposed to mention the source as well, otherwise it is considered plagiarism.

People giving out Merits should consider rechecking the post they are giving them to. It is injustice with the users that are working hard themselves in the forum to provide information and help people if the Merits are given to people for plagiarized content.
843  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcointalk 10 BTC Donators - where are they now ? on: June 07, 2018, 01:34:09 PM
Those donators have all been the quality this forum had at that time and we realize that when we read the threads from that time. They being missing is one of the reasons why the forum is in such a situation where spam is the first thing you see when you open a section to read something good.
844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ranking on: June 06, 2018, 01:48:55 PM
Your account requires activity points to reach Jr. member rank. And after that you will need both Activity points and Merits to rank up. Activity points are awarded after every 2 weeks while Merits are to be earned manually by posting quality content on the forum.
You can only get 14 activity points per 2 weeks as you get only 1 for a day, and they are all summed up and added to your account bi-weekly.
For more in-depth details, open the links posted above and read all the information there.
845  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Introduction of KYC To Establish Trust on: June 05, 2018, 12:13:27 PM
Not all of us are bounty hunters and are here to get tokens from various new projects launched every week. So we don't really need to identify ourselves for just coming to the forum for learning or discussing things about Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency that we are interested in.
846  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hi would like to report these three musketeers obviously abusing merit on: June 05, 2018, 11:14:35 AM
Seeing people earning enough merits to rank up without being even 10% constructive by their posts really disappoints me.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Anybody know what happens when Bitcoin hits 21M circulating supply? on: June 04, 2018, 08:18:59 AM
It would take decades for all the bitcoins to get into circulation and being that it isn't something that we should be concerned about. If the time reaches for that to happen, the people using it at that time should be asking questions like this, and most probably there won't be such problems in future as for sure there will be even better technologies by then.
848  Economy / Services / Re: Yes! The BIG opportunity of your life on: June 02, 2018, 02:07:23 PM
I wonder why not these so called analysts just invest some of their own money (they must have some) in the coins they believe would be profitable each day and earn some money by doing that instead of charging fees to people and give away those signals to them.  Roll Eyes
Do they themselves don't believe in themselves? And if that is so, then why should others believe in them?
849  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: UPDATED : Merit on: June 02, 2018, 11:03:44 AM
I am always making high quality posts

No, not always. I have checked your post history and I haven't seen a post larger than 2 lines on the first page of it, and if we say that a post doesn't have to be large in order to be constructive then I must say that none of those small posts were merit worthy. You have a lot to learn yet. If you really want to stay on the forum as a good member then you should stop worrying about Merits and start building your knowledge first. Getting Merits wont be difficult once you gain enough knowledge.

I think besides a good post you should choose the right topic/time/..in order to attract the maximum of readers.
What do you think guys ?

Not sure about the time, but topic really plays a role here. As @OmegaStarScream mentioned earlier, most of your posts are in Bitcoin discussion or Altcoin sections where Merit distribution to constructive posts in very less. So maybe if you choose the right topics in the right sections, you might get some Merits if your posts are good enough.
850  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful from new scam system !!!! on: June 01, 2018, 12:42:25 PM
People have discovered this practice of scamming since the phishing websites started to hit the market before a few years. They just make a same kind of account with only a small difference claiming to be the original and loot money from the innocent, and people being totally profit-blind literally send money to them without any research and without even properly checking the accounts or sites in some cases. Someone should know that these are very big lies by seeing the amounts they promise to give in return.
851  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware These Signal Groups on: May 31, 2018, 09:10:31 AM
Trading on just others signals or predictions is totally foolish IMO unless you are 100% sure that the one your are getting them from is a professional in this field. If you think you cannot trade on your own, then simply don't do it. Putting your money under risk by getting signals from unknown people is not something that will earn you a fortune.
852  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to test signature? on: May 31, 2018, 08:46:09 AM
Try in any section and instead of submitting, use the preview button....

That's the way. I used to do the same when I was trying signature designing. I would open a thread and click on "Reply" and then in the writing section I would do all the coding and then preview it to see how it is and what changes do I need to make in it.

854  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is useless, only for those old members. Please remove merit system! on: May 27, 2018, 02:11:17 PM
Please remove merit system and let it be back to normal.

Yeah, so that you and all the other farmers that are desperately waiting for something like this get back to earning hundreds of dollars every month by farming and selling accounts, or by taking part in bounties with high ranked but nonconstructive accounts. That is what this system prevents the people from doing, and that prevention is actually what bothers you, not the system itself.
855  Other / Meta / Re: categories of those who speak about merits on: May 26, 2018, 01:39:58 PM
To sum up, I would like to say thank you 4th category of people, who really do good things.

Reading this statement and seeing the Merit you've got out of this thread, It seems like you deserve a place in the 3rd category of your own opinion.
No offense. Just a private opinion from the heart. If someone disagrees, I don't really care.  Grin Just kidding. I really appreciate the people who disagree with things proving they have a stand of their own.
856  Other / Meta / Re: Whats The Deal With All These NEW Threads Being Created by brand NEW members? on: May 25, 2018, 01:07:45 PM
What the deal with this thread being created? There is nothing new about what you are stating here, nor you have been unaware of that I guess. So what's the point here?
857  Other / Meta / Re: BECAREFULL - THIS LINK IS PHISING !!! on: May 25, 2018, 12:47:49 PM
Couldn't you be a little more specific about what you are posting?  Huh
It doesn't charge money to write more.
858  Other / Meta / Re: Merit rewards are ok ? on: May 25, 2018, 12:26:04 PM
The primary purpose of Merit system is to award constructive posters and appreciate their efforts towards the forum. So as long as they are rewarded for posting in the forum, it is all okay, but if the campaign demands something else in return for Merits, then that breaks the basic rule of Merit system and I believe that won't be considered okay at all.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: What do we excpect from the future? on: May 24, 2018, 01:25:53 PM
After reading almost more than a half of it with excitement, I realized that it is a promotional article of a project but not a economical discussion.  Grin
I guess this thread, after a few adjustments, belongs to Marketplace (Altcoin) section if it is about a project not involving Bitcoin.
860  Other / Meta / Re: Feature of ICO Ranking on Bitcointalk on: May 24, 2018, 08:18:51 AM
User ratings are not always 100% accurate. So such a feature can be a negative effect for the reputation of this forum if an ICO rated high turns a scam later on.
This forum should not take responsibility of the projects being carried out anywhere outside it which is not what this forum promises to serve. It would only be logical to clean the forum from them if they are suspicious, but not to rate them high or low by any mean.
