861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 04, 2023, 10:37:21 AM
I don't think it was Ancelotti's tactical fault on the contrary, Real Madrid were able to control the ballposition more and play much better but they were just unlucky in the first leg of the Copa Del Rey against Barcelona.
Real Madrid did have not too bad match and they created some opportunities to get goals but unluckily they did not score any goal. They have good enough performance to give them belief that they can beat Barcelona in a second leg and win in aggregated result.

About confidence, I don't think I can find any club that have very solid confidence about themselves like Real Madrid in a long history as well as in the past two seasons. All challenges they passed through to win Champions League in the past season prove a lot about their confidence and ability to beat biggest opponents.

Quote
and for the second leg later I think these two teams still have the same chance to beat each other, in fact I think the percentage of these two teams is still 50-50.
With Real Madrid, until the final whistle, don't say you are winners against them.

Quote
and it is true that since Xavi has coached Barcelona there have been very many positive changes that have occurred and especially in this season which has made Barcelona at the top of the La Liga standings temporarily.
Xavi has been doing his great job and has brought big improvements to Barcelona but he has to go too far to achieve what Carlo Ancelotti has gotten in his career. Winning La Liga and Coppa del Rey in a same season will be a milestone season for Xavi management career.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 04, 2023, 10:29:57 AM
This is a shocking defeat to Napoli. What's more, they played a home game. I think no one expected that they would be beaten. Lazio deserved their win because of the discipline of their players during the game. IMO, the goals scored in this match are lucky, so if Matias Vecino's goal is not there, we'll only see Napoli 0 - 0 Lazio in this match.
It is a shock for Napoli but it is not something terrible with them to be frankly. They have big gap against other clubs and Scudetto is mostly awarded to Napoli. In addition, Lazio is a club at the fourth position and it is not the end of Napoli in Serie A by losing to a fourth club on the table.

With not many matches left in Serie A and big gap they have, Napoli can win Scudetto by beating small and average clubs, they don't have to beat all clubs including big clubs in Serie A.

Quote
BTW, we'll have another big game in Week 25 of Serie A matches, it's a game between AS Roma and Juventus. How do you think this match will go? do you think AS Roma can beat Juventus with their last result losing to a team in the relegation zone (Cremonese) ?
It will be hosted in Turin and Roma will not have Mourinho in the cabin by his red card in the match with Cremonese. Roma must win to continue their race with Lazio for a fourth position. If they have a draw or a loss, they will have a bad match day. Juventus even need a win more than Roma as they have yet given up their target to end in top four. 10 points difference is big but Juventus still see it possible to be equaled.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin Ordinals endlessly spam the Bitcoin mempool to the brim, what next? on: March 03, 2023, 02:35:20 PM
What happens if the spam stays on for months or even a year plus (Well, we know what happened to Ethereum)?

Will there be a case where the community decides to improve the Bitcoin network to get rid of the spam?
Challenge is helpful for growth.

In 2017, the dust attack and spam on network helps us to have a better capacity of Bitcoin network to handle transactions today.
In 2023, the Ordinals attack can force Bitcoin developers and community to build new solution and reach to a new consensus to make a better capacity for it. It's good, not harmful in long term.

Waiting transactions in mempools are low transaction fee rates. People don't join fee race too much as I see. Fee rates are about 10 sat/vbyte are good enough and if you can wait for weekends, you can use lower fee rates like 3 to 5 sat/vbyte.

https://mempool.space/

It is different than 2 or 3 years ago with low Segwit adoption, people joined fee rate race and use very high rates like 50 sat/vbyte or 100 sat/vbyte.

It looks strange, but what kind of license you will see somehow depends on the country from which you log in to saig, for example, if you select France in the vpn, I get "no valid"   if I choose if I choose Germany, I get "valid license" although both countries are in the list of restrictions.
Reports are noted by Sherbet team and they are investigating the issue, I believe so. It is like a bug on Sherbet but it is important for Sherbet users as well as the casino, they must investigate this issue carefully and fix it as soon as possible.

This can cause conflict between the casino and users and can affect user accounts and their funds as well as withdrawal requests later. I don't think any shady from Sherbet as they wrote it very clearly in ToS, they just need to fix that bug for the casino detection on user registration and related notification.
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Avalanche Bridging - good or bad for bitcoin ? on: March 03, 2023, 02:22:26 PM
It is not related to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is Bitcoin and it is on Bitcoin public ledger and its network.

Avalanche is Avalanche and it has its own network that is different than Bitcoin network.

Bridging is moving from Bitcoin to another token that is not Bitcoin. You can do it yourself if you like that token but always remember that it is not Bitcoin. That token and related smart contract can be hacked, its value can be de-pegged but it is not Bitcoin responsibility.

How many Wrapped tokens got de-pegs months ago around FTX and FTT fiasco?

Do you want to fall into a similar situation with Avalanche-based token that tries to connect it to Bitcoin.

Can someone import a hot wallet account into a hardware wallet? And the hardware wallet security features will still work and guide the imported hot wallet account?
You can not. They have different designs and use different derivation paths.

As I know, you can connect your hardware device to Electrum wallet and access your bitcoin and send it.

Set up and use Electrum (Ledger)

Do you think you are complicate things too much?

The more complexity you try to do, the higher risk you will lose your bitcoins.

No guarantee that along the procedure (that is complex than necessary by your personal set-up), if one chain in the procedure is broken, you lose your bitcoins.

Multi-signature wallet and good security, good backups are good enough for main of your capital.

For your small capital that you need to bring it around the corner to spend for coffee, books, shopping, let's use single signature wallet and maybe on your mobile too. Also remember to have its backup.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 02, 2023, 02:26:02 PM
Tomorrow is an important match for Napoli.
It's no longer as important as previous matches in this season for Napoli. They have been creating a very big gap with a second-positioned club so that they can enjoy their first position without much pressure and headache from a second-positioned club.

Quote
Napoli are the heavy favorites of course and we can say that they have a very comfortable match as they have opened the points difference. So maybe they won't take this match too seriously and leave points or points to Lazio. I have to say that it depends entirely on how Napoli behaves. From Lazio's point of view, they know that they need to get points or points from this match if they want to keep the points difference from widening. Their opponents are close and the points difference is small.
It's a more important match for Lazio which are fighting seriously with Inter Milan, AC Milan, AS Roma and Atalanta or even Juventus of a spot in top four. Lazio currently stands in the fourth position but it's not easy for them to hold it till the season ending. Roma, Atalanta and even Juventus are greedily to take it from Lazio.

Meeting Napoli in this season is like a nightmare for all clubs in Serie A as getting one point or three points from Napoli is a big challenge. I believe Lazio will satisfy if they get one point from the match.

Also statistically Juventus haven't been beaten, I mean head to head in the last five matches of Roma against Juventus. Of course, Roma will a hard day to get full points in that match although they will be playing at home. Because against Juventus is the toughest challenge for Roma so far, after deducting 15 points Juventus really showed the quality of a Serie A club, they are very incredible and in my opinion there is no possibility for them to lose points in that match.
Statistically Roma don't have good record with Juventus and in the coming match in Turin, they won't have Mourinho who was trapped by a fourth referee in a match with Cremonese.

In the last two seasons including this one, Roma don't have good results when playing against big clubs. In this season, they have a good position in top four or six because they successfully beat weaker clubs and gain many points from those clubs. They have yet improved ability to beat big clubs in this season.

Juventus if beating Roma, will open another gate to get more closely to top four. They are on fire in recent weeks and are ready to make a win against Roma.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 02, 2023, 02:07:41 PM
Arsenal is trying its possible best to see that they remain on top of the table. Yesterday victory was a revenge on Everton who won them last month at home. We still have 13 games ahead so finalize the winner of this years EPL.
They just made another great step to take the trophy.

Quote
If Arsenal doesn't strive to win at least ten games, there might be a problem for them to be the winner of this season.
It depends on Manchester City focus on Premier League that will surely affect their performance there too.

Quote
Manchester city is five points behind Arsenal which is threat to Arsenal because if they fail be win their matches, Manchester city might become the winner. Liverpool won their match, but am not assured that they can continue winning matches because of their inconsistency this season.
Five points are not too small and not too big for a gap between two clubs but it's safely enough for Arsenal. Having five points when the league has 13 more matches sounds like nothing but if the league comes to last four or five matches, that gap is big enough.

Arsenal 4 - 0 Everton

Arsenal did very well in this game, they managed to score 4 goals and didn't concede, the team's performance was excellent, they definitely managed to reassure their fans a little, who were already worried that Arsenal would start plunging into a sequence of bad results that would result in them not being able to win the premier league, on the other side we have everton who need to improve a lot, criticized lampard, well now we will see in the next games how everton will do
The match ended better than what Arsenal need. They only need three points but yeah a big win is better than a minimal win. Arsenal are moving toward the finishing line but they must be focused and don't let this big win derails them from focusing as it can lead to lost points in next few matches.

Playing with full concentration and keep their foot on the ground are better than let their minds on the sky and be unrealistic about their strength. If Arteta can keep his players on the ground, they will have better ability to maintain the 5-point gap and win Premier League after next 13 matches. It's a very important count-down time for Arsenal, each match they will see the finishing line more closely.

I always browse the services board every time I wake up and this other event gives me chills once I saw that the roobet already have partnered with snoop dog and this could give another hype with the Snoop and Roo tandem, we can now see that the roobet is now widely spreading for another level, and another event that could enjoy of the players because of this news brings up. Being fan of snoop and the casino gives really shaking head right now.
In next four weeks, Roobet team will advertise the Snoop event with more spots for their signature campaign participants. It will last only four weeks but who knows, if after that the Roobet team see great contribution from the campaign, they will consider to expand it longer or forever.

I saw some users worn the avatar of this Snoop but I like the avatar with clear text like Snoop x Roobet. It's neat and clear. I don't like the avatar with avatar plus too small text which is hardly to see what it is about. It's better if the designer can make text bigger for that avatar.
871  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion and Trade? on: March 01, 2023, 03:33:24 PM
I guess for someone to call him or her self a trader you need to control your emotions right, now after having that emotion in control and other basic things a trader should know you have all under control and still loss more then getting profit.
Before you trade, you must control a few things.

- Capital you use for trading. If you fail to control it and assume you use all money you have for trading, you will easily lose control on other things.
- Your time allocation for trading each day, each week. If you self limit your time allocation for trading good enough, you won't trade too much, won't look at screens, charts too much. That is good for your health and emotion control.
- Control your emotion is difficult and it should be supported by your orders like stop loss, stop limit order. When you fail to control your emotion, those orders help you.

Wow, looking at the table I just figured out that Chelsea is the only team next to Southampton who only got 3 points out of the last 5 games! I mean extrapolate that average score just for fun to a whole season... That would give Chelsea less than 23 points for a whole season lol! Cheesy
It's a terrible season for a club that spent huge money for transfers in the summer and in the winter transfer seasons too. No word is more correct than terrible.

Quote
I think that Leeds could be the final game for Potter.
Maybe Chelsea fans want to see Potter sack before a match with Dortmund in Champions League. They have reason to believe in the club history that usually win Champions League by firing coach in mid of season.

Quote
If he loses that game, I would by no means be surprised that there is an interims coach sitting on the bench against Dortmund. Do you think the management can even justify to keep Potter for the Dortmund game if they don't win against Leeds? Being patient and all that is fine, but you need some fresh motivation. You can't just watch your team sink to the ground and do nothing but be patient.
Even if Chelsea win against Leeds United, they won't be able to climb to top four at season ending. It's best if Chelsea fire Potter and assign the coach position to someone, perhaps history will repeat and they will win a third Champions League.

They did not have too bad result in a first leg against Dortmund and they can beat Dortmund in the second leg to continue this season in Champions League.

I don't recommend anyone to use blockchain explorers to check their transactions without Tor.

Blockchair.com explorer built their Privacy o meter by using 100+ indicators to measure the privacy scores of Bitcoin transactions.

Newbies can use Tor browser to explorer their practices for transaction privacy, only with Tor.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 01, 2023, 01:47:26 PM
What AS Roma experienced was very, very embarrassing, how could they lose against a team that had never won this season, and their first victory was in this match. The quick goal in the 17th minute that Cremonese created was key, because with that goal they could be more comfortable and try to delay the game so that it was very difficult for AS Roma to score a goal back. Even though they were able to equalize first, in the end a goal from the white point in the 83rd minute really made AS Roma lose.
Problems with Roma is their defense is not good like rock and their attacking system is bad and lack of capability to score many goals. They are a club with less scored goals in top six of Serie A. To be fair with their defense, they will not have a good position (fifth) so far if their defense did not play well.

However as I said, their defense is far from a bunker and with bad contribution from attacking system, if they let opponents score goal first, it will be most likely a defeat for them. Cremonese had two excellent finishes to score two goals and beat Roma but it will not enough for them to stay in Serie A.

Pogba's situation was a prime example that it is not always the smartest decision to postpone a surgery if it is not necessary. At times it can do more harm than good and here that seems to have been the case.
I agree as postponing necessary surgery will be harmful for player body and it will affect their ability to recover well and regain their best fitness back. However it is not the case of Pogba who got many problems with injuries and his body in Manchester United. He was not able to play too many matches for Manchester United in his last two seasons for them.

The injury in early days of Pogba in Turin is a continuation of his more vulnerable body with injury that already began in Manchester United.

876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin weaken the Wests ability to fight enemies of freedom? on: February 28, 2023, 11:00:12 AM
One of the most valid criticisms of Bitcoin is that it reduces the ability of the Unite States to sanction enemies of the West e.g. the billions of dollars in accounts belonging to Russians confiscated last year after the invasion, and the kicking off of Russian banks from the SWIFT network.
Please don't distort the usability of Bitcoin like this.

Bitcoin serves everyone, every nation want to use it and it was not created to support terrorists or dictators or help any country to exploit sanctions.

If you think of Bitcoin like this, weaken the sanctions against bad countries that break world standard about freedom or any standard, please think of guns and gun powder. They were not created to kill people and to create wars by Nobel but later people use those discoveries in many different ways.

Bitcoin is the same and it can be used for many use cases and has wide usability. It can help many people and it is a biggest helpful usability of Bitcoin. Think of positive contribution from Bitcoin please. For negative effects, we can not control it and initially Bitcoin was not created to serve bad or immoral activities.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good wallet I can use to store Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2023, 10:22:19 AM
  • Wasabi Wallet
  • Electrum
  • Bitcoin Core
Both Bitcoin Core and Wasabi wallets are more heavily in storage space than Electrum wallet.

Electrum is my wallet if I don't mind about Coinjoin and privacy with Tor connection that will cause me to use Wasabi wallet or Bitcoin Core wallet. In Electrum wallet, you can use Tor too but it is less private than Wasabi and Bitcoin Core.

With Bitcoin Core, you can choose prune node option to reduce total storage space from the wallet in your disk.

If SEC can not prove a point falls into Howey test, they can not call it as a security asset.

Howey Test Definition: What It Means and Implications for Cryptocurrency

And being considered as security is not the end, that project can pay fee (it should be expensive cost) to be more matching with regulations. Regulations change with time and even if a project is fine today, they will likely have to adapt to future regulations too.
879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for accepting bitcoin as a payment? on: February 27, 2023, 12:31:25 PM
Well, this is a really basic reason. But merchants do have other reasons as well to accept crypto payments.
Merchants are created and operated to serve their customers. What their customers ask for and if their requests are legit, practicable, merchants will consider to integrate it into their platforms.

Adding cryptocurrency payments also help merchants to expand their customer population to more people. Like one cryptocurrency project announces its partnership with a merchant and their cryptocurrency can be used on that platform, their community members will want to explore the merchant platform.

For unbanked people, they will see chance to use cryptocurrency and get access to merchants as well. They will have double benefits by using cryptocurrency, no need to have a bank account and can access to many services and buying, exchanging many products.
880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: btc network after last halving on: February 27, 2023, 12:21:37 PM
When the btc mining process is over, how will the network remain secure as the computational power ceases to exist?
If mining process is over (all miners shut down their minning rigs ASICs), hashrate ceases to exist (drop to 0), the network is dead. No confirmation will be made by any miner as consequence of a dead network.

Do you really think there will be no single Bitcoin miner on Earth?

Because if there is only one miner left, network difficulty will be adjusted after each 2,016 blocks that takes about 14 days (2 weeks), after many times, difficulty will be re-targeted to be lower and lower. Chance to see all miners shut down their rigs at the same time is very impossible.

Bitcoin mining difficulty. Everything you need to know

With a dead network, you can not talk about its security. Dead is the end of everything but fortunately if miners operate their ASICs again, network will become lively again.
