Alcaraz vs djokovic game was not as one would expect beside the first two sets that were really competitive and tight the last two were one sided for djokovic who broke five of alcaraz serves which is impressive especially in a clay court, now he will face either Ruud or zverev and after today performance i don't think they stand a chance against him and if he managed to win the tournament it will be his second grand slam this year.

In fact, Alcatraz was experiencing pretty rare full body cramps (wow must be quite painful) since early 3rd set. That is the reason of such a poor performance from him. I'm not saying that Carlitos would have won the match but chances were quite high that the match would have gone into the 5th set. Such a pity.

Anyway, Zverez was a mess today. I'm not sure what happened to him but he played really terrible tonight.
862  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cz or the Sec who would you support? on: June 08, 2023, 10:40:07 PM
With the current issue in the crypto world between Cz (Changpeng Zhao) Ceo of binance and the Sec, I support Cz with reasons that binance has done alot to earn it's communities trust, helping millions of users in the crypto ecosystem, and has more durable marketing strategy whereas the Sec is government driven and wants to control everybody.
It's unfair that the sec is suppressing a private cooperation that's helping to grow & build the crypto world, binance is helping everybody including crypto whales and newbies and a fight against binance is against the world.
What's your say on this?

I see this conflict as Bitcoin vs FIAT or Bitcoin vs USD so I'm definitely with CZ on this one. I won't be too surprised if it'll turn out to be a political issue and US are trying to punish CZ for not supporting Ukraine enough (not banning Russian users, freezing their funds etc). In any case its just another attempt to wage war on Bitcoin, so I definitely support CZ and Binance.  Cool
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 08, 2023, 10:06:55 PM
Sabalenka turning it around and looks like sure thing now even though result is not backing it yet. She started to simply overpower Muchova.

Tsitsi had no chance against Alcaraz and before we start to pile on him let's wait to see how Djoković will fare tomorrow. I feel like there is nobody on tour capable of competing with Alcaraz when he is on his best. First 2 sets against Tsitsipas he was simply unplayable. But if anybody can test him it is player like Djokovic, full of experience and tricks even when he is not in his best form like here.

Watching 3rd set now and she just gave it all away! Tiring herself out with powerful serves, but giving away faults and Muchova got a free pass now. Doesn't look good, but you never seem to know with these women's games, I guess?

I actually really need to find time to watch Alcaraz, haven't seen a single game in past 3 tourneys. I feel like I'm really missing out.

I had the same feeling while watching 3rd set but even first 2 sets were chaos as Muchova won a set what should have been won by Sabalenka and vice-versa so yea..this game was crazy from start to end.

Now , 3rd set ...from 5-2 , Muchova found a way to comeback and win 5-7 which is crazy and Sabalenka ran out of fuel just before the finish line.

Can Maia beat Iga ? I mean Maia had an awesome run until now and already proved herself and to us the fans , that she deserves to be in top 10 WTA. Currently she is 12 I think.

Iga beat the Brazilian 6:2, 7:6 and she will meet Muchova in the final. Sabalenka v Muchova was a real thriller though. After losing the opening set, Aryna gained momentum and seemingly guaranteed herself a place in the final but... she lost from 5:2 and even had a match point. Muchova had a medical issue with her leg(s) but Sabalenka seemed to ignore it and was just hitting out or right into the net all the time. I guess she conceded 50+ unforced errors if not more. There were several close-ups of Muchova during this and it was funny to see that look on her face (like WTF if going on here? What that crazy girl is doing? Grin) Muchova didn't win the match, Sabalenka lost it (or better say it was like a gift she gave to her opponent).
As to the final, I won't be surprised if Muchova will retire. In any case it will be an easy win for Iga.
864  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info API down? on: June 08, 2023, 03:28:03 PM
Ok, I finally got a response from Blockchain support:

Unfortunately, we have stopped issuing new Wallet API keys and cannot provide any specific time frame for when they will become available again. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Thanks for your assistance guys, I really appreciate it but this time it seems this issue can't be solved.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 08, 2023, 04:12:16 AM
In the semifinals for the women's section, it looks like the 1st and 2nd seeds will advance to the finals, Swiatek will face Haddad Maia who performed quite well by beating Ons Jabeur in three sets but facing Swiatek will be very different and I don't think Maia will be able to get through and indeed Swiatek will be difficult to defeat at Roland Garros.
If the prediction for the final is between Swiatek vs Sabalenka happen, I think this will be a tough test for Swiatek because Sabalenka has experience beating the clay specialist in big tournaments this year with the same surface, hope this won't be a final like last year which was easy for Swiatek through and before seeing Swiatek vs Sabalenka in the final both of them have to overcome their opponents first in today's semifinal match.

Yes, I generally agree. Swiatek v Haddad Maia is more or less clear, but Sabalenka v Muchova won't be an easy walk in a park for the Belarussian. Muchova is playing incredibly well at RG this year and has eliminated many powerful contenders. But my bet is that Sabalenka will win it in 3 sets and we'll witness a Sabalenka v Swiatek final.  Cool
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 07, 2023, 07:44:05 PM
Zverev won the match against Etcheverry. But it was a great performance from Etcheverry and he was really strong. Many people did not think that Zverev would get so far. After a mixed performance in the last few tournaments, he seems to have found his old form again in Paris.
Now he will play against Rude or Rune in the semi-finals.

Ruud is going strong, he has bagged the first set 1-6 and serving for the second 2-5.

Its great for him and great to get revenge from their last meeting, Ruud is a very intelligent
player. Will he be able though to beat Djokovic....if he beats Rune?

Watching this too. Honestly, spectators should demand their money back. It's been a huge disappointment so far: 6:1, 6:2 Ruud. Rune only showed some GS worthy performance in the last game or two.  Shocked
867  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info API down? on: June 07, 2023, 07:37:46 PM
Yes, in fact the API itself works, I've realized that already. But I'm trying to run a script which uses this link: https://api.blockchain.info/customer/signup and it's giving me a 503 error. And I think you still need XPUB key to use it for purposes I'm trying to use it for. So XPUB is also not working/impossible to acquire. Perhaps I'm wrong and you can guide me?

That is it exactly that you're trying to achieve? Have you checked the link I gave you above?

You should be able to get your wallet's XPUB by following these steps: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/9012572718108-What-is-xPub-and-how-do-I-get-it-

Sorry it seems I mixed up xpub key and API key. Xpub really works and I'm able to get it by visiting the page in the tutorial you posted above. This url is necessary for requesting an API key and it doesn't work.

P.S. Not sure why this thread was relocated to Web Wallets since the issue is not with the wallet.
868  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: June 07, 2023, 08:20:52 AM
Perhaps you forgot that it was the US and EU who introduced sanctions first. So it's not Russia "begun the gas blackmail of Europe" but completely the opposite. I'll also have to remind you how natural gas market works (and any other market btw): the prices grow when there's demand (before the cold season obviously as gas is mostly used for heating) and atm the cold season is over so logically we're at the lowest point now. The countries buying natural gas still have some gas left in their systems so there's no need to buy more (well, until the next season starts). Therefore, the prices are also at the lowest point atm.

As to the solar energy, yes it's nice that this tech is developing and improving and becoming more wide-spread but there's one downside: there's energy overproduction in summer and electricity prices are low (sometimes even as low as 0) but there's no real way to store and conserve this energy. And it winter, when there's very few sunlight in most of the Europe (Central/Northern Europe of course) solar systems are inefficient and guess what: we need to buy energy again! So 70+% seems very optimistic to me.

You know, in today's world it's hard to lie about historical events. Such as what you are talking about. Before the sanctions were imposed, Russia had, on several occasions, demonstrably cut off/reduced gas supplies to the EU, demonstrating its "power", but in fact terrorizing EU governments to force them to comply with the Kremlin regime's conditions. This was happening before the sanctions, before the first package. Just google it and see how silly you look now with such statements Smiley
This also applies to the "claim" that the reason for the terrorist attack on Ukraine was Ukraine's official desire to join NATO, thereby "creating new threats to Russia." The first official document, by the Ukrainian government, regarding the POTENTIAL desire to switch to NATO standards and eventually join NATO appeared... in 2018, 4 years after the terrorist country invaded Ukraine.

July 2016. - Gazprom's reduction of gas transit through the Ukrainian GTS
June 2019. - Russia refuses to extend EU gas supply contract, pending the results of Ukraine's presidential election (!!!)
August 2021 - deliberate reduction of gas pumping to the EU https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/24/russia-is-pumping-less-natural-gas-to-europe-as-nord-stream-2-nears-completion.html
January 2022 - triple reduction of gas supply through Ukraine, without any real reason.
Sep. September 2, 2022 - The Russian gas company Gazprom announced a complete stop of gas transmission through the Nord Stream pipeline

Sources, sources, my retarded friend, sources. The only source I see is this one:

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/24/russia-is-pumping-less-natural-gas-to-europe-as-nord-stream-2-nears-completion.html

If we read further, we'll find this: "It comes shortly after German Chancellor Angela Merkel sought to ease long-running concerns about the nearly completed Nord Stream 2 pipeline, saying further sanctions may be imposed if Moscow used gas “as a weapon.”"

So, in fact, as always, it's reaction not action. Russia merely reacts to hostile steps made by the EU. I know it's hard for someone with a vegetable IQ to tell the difference between action and reaction, but you could've at least tried.

And please provide the remaining sources or should we consider them SOMA (straight outta my ass)?

P.S. Reality check: How is the defence of Bakhmut going?  Grin

Again, the owner of the intellectual vacuum, weirdo Smiley  "The only thing I found" - and cited the link I selectively left. I left it for the simple reason that it is in English. All the rest is easily available in Russian, in Russian media Smiley But to use search engines, crystal clear of intelligence representative of the Russian world - is not able, which is also not surprising Smiley

Well, why don't you provide the sources in Russian? Google Translate does wonders you know. Oh, let me guess: it's from moscowtimes.ru right?  Grin

I have already told you, I'm not Russian, I don't live in Russia and I don't care what happens there. Is it too hard to comprehend? But I hate liars and lies even to support and protect the right cause.

No, I don't have the exact stats, I'm neither CIA nor KGB to know that. But I've seen the numbers reported by both sides and as a logically thinking person I can approximately estimate losses. Unlike you it seems, you're trying to use the Ukrainian propaganda stats here.  Grin

Alcaraz will destroy Đoković. I will go with the biggest possible handicap the bookies are willing to offer.

I'm continuing with my bets on outsiders, today I'm going with Etcheverry to win against Zverev.
I have Zverev in BSFL and I do believe he's the favorite, but a much smaller one than the odds show.

So far it looks like this will be the case. The Spaniard seems determined and driven to win his first RG. I guess his coach team are trying to make him believe he's the next Rafa and he has to win it this year to try to break Rafa's RG career record of 14 titles!

As to Etcheverry, I'm really doubtful this 23 yo Argentinian underdog will manage to beat the German. Zverev is maybe not in his top form but he's good enough to beat world's nr 46. Zverev has showed us so far he's experiencing issues after the injury to compete with top 10 guys but Etcheverry should be an easy victim.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 06, 2023, 07:05:53 PM
Watching Alcaraz v Tsitsipas atm. Well, what can I say: Carlitos has entered some sort of god mode today. Opening set taken easily 6:2. If you haven't made your bet on this match, place it now!  Cool
871  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info API down? on: June 06, 2023, 12:18:21 PM
Blockchain.info API is not down. In fact, I've just used it to list all (~4000!) of the transactions of a Nakamoto address, which required multiple API calls to fetch all the data. So no, it's not in the water just yet.

You can verify this by asking ChatGPT to make example requests to blockchain.info in CURL or python for you to run.

Also, you don't need to sign up to use their API - most endpoints work anonymously without an API key. (Beware that they have a strict 1 request per 10 seconds limit or you can get IP banned.)

Yes, in fact the API itself works, I've realized that already. But I'm trying to run a script which uses this link: https://api.blockchain.info/customer/signup and it's giving me a 503 error. 872  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Scams Bitcoin Mixers List and Services closed on: June 05, 2023, 09:46:00 PM
What shocked me the most is the number of scam mixers.
Isn't that the same with any business nowadays: creating a scam site is much easier than creating a real service.

Unfortunately, you're 100% correct. You need lots of skills to run a business in the long term. It's much easier to order a cheap website on fiverr, run a campaign on bitcointalk and voila: you can run away with the funds.

Another shocking thing is that all mixers closed by the law enforcement also got their BTC seized. Why don't they have any protection against these raids? Or were the owners/employees made to disclose login details and wallet passwords?
That's because they (have to) use hot wallets for their funds. If the physical server gets seized, the private keys are in there.

What about file system encryption? I've also heard about self-destruct buttons and similar tech to destroy the server remotely. There should be some kind of solution for this.

I won't. I've checked hundreds of facts from your posts and they all were lies and propaganda. Instead of providing credible sources, you keep falling lower and lower and don't even mention sources at all. I won't be spending my time to check just to find out it's a new batch of lies!  Grin

Proving your next lie is very simple Smiley
Give me a link to my arguments that I gave and your proof that it is a lie ?

You understand, the modern world is such that public information cannot be hidden. Lies can easily be verified (if you want to), and denying reality doesn't change reality, no matter how much you want to. So - I'm waiting for links to my arguments, and reasoned proof that this is a lie !?

I think it will be interesting for everyone to watch your helpless struggles and attempts to come up with at least some justification Smiley

The answer to some fact, "I don't think so, I have different information" will not do. Only FACTS and verifiable arguments! Sorry to embarrass you Smiley

I understand that life is hard with a negative IQ. But if you're using this forum things can't be too bad. The ideology of the "Russian world" is really much more bastardized than the Nazi regime of Hitler's Germany....

Following this logic there must be a terrible war going on in many EU countries. And Russia? You claim that Russia has suffered enormous losses. Like 200k or whatever the latest number is? A million? Russia pelted the territory of Ukraine with its meat, the territory of the country it attacked, in violation of all treaties. The war is absolutely terrorist, cowardly and despicable. 874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Fud or Its Reality? BTC is Down Again on: June 05, 2023, 08:56:22 PM
As many of you, must have heard the news of SEC sues Binance and its CEO Changpeng Zhao. And this has a great effect on the market as around $3.7 Billion dollars has vanished in 15 minutes only from BTC and Alts Source. Currently, BTC is 5+% down and still going down because of this news has created fud among early, new, and less capital investors. People are trying to withdraw their BTC to fiat or any other stablecoin (pegged). Why? this news has made so much impact on the market and why people fall for this FUD. Or is it really a FUD? Before declaring anything or acting on anything, we should shed some light on what is happening to the market.
You should keep this image in your mind and then read the following.
SEC and CFTC had sued Binance and CZ so many times, and we have been reading that news and ignoring them as those were at the lower level (i think), plus CZ always comes up on Twitter with something encouraging that could avoid people stopping panicking. And he still posted on Twitter Handle that it's a FUD. But still, people are leaving the market and so much BTC has been liquidated too.
Main Reason Behind this downtrend
Now SEC has sued Binance and CZ they are helping US citizens to get access to their Binance (US) exchange intentionally using their BM Trading Platform (As it can be seen above the Binance US). Well, That's not something new, As a few days ago CFTC also said that, and it was also discussed before.

Climax here is, SEC has found out that, the BAM Trading platform is directly linked to the US Binance exchange. How Bam Trading platform is linked to CZ, Go through the pic again and check the connection of US Binance to CZ and how much CZ holds in shares to BAM trading. Well, in the short story, SEC and CFTC sued CZ and Binance before, that, they are not registered with us and they should be banned for US citizens but CZ always come up with some unique plans to provide access to US citizen like, before he was alleged by SEC that, he made some VPN services for high class, VIP investors and traders of Binance so that they could keep using the Binance and Binance could generate millions of dollars in just fee money.

And we know that the US does not like that another person works on their soil without paying taxes or complying with us and still making millions of dollars. Well, no wonder there must be other factors too, on which SEC wants to control and they have to follow those rules and regulations to avoid streamlined adoption of crypto, My personal view on it does not matter, because those who have access to Binance and wants to make money (or want to use Binance) will definitely use it without fear of any regulation.

Coming back to the story, So, Binance was prohibited to provide access to US citizens and hence it was providing access to them using its unregulated platform (BAM Trading). So, People could keep using the features of (buy, sell, and trade crypto, asset securities) through an unregistered trading platform that directly links back to Binance and to CZ (CEO).
They also mention in their case that, BAM Trading provided the sales of unregistered assets (BNB and BUSD) and US citizens could access the feature of Binance ("BNB Vault" and "Simple Earn") through BAM Trading Platform which is the product of CZ (that what SEC says). In the Document, they also said that BAM has raised around $200 million of dollars which directly benefits CZ and the Binance platform.

Well, i could write the whole points that has SEC alleged CZ and Binance for but this is of no good here, because everyone could read it directly. So here is the link to read it.

You should read the reply from CZ's US Binance platform to SEC.

Now, How BTC is being Effected by this FUD
The answer is simple FUD and FUD, (i am not trying to accuse anyone here just stating the facts) people are exiting from the market as i mentioned above and volume is decreasing which is a bad sign. The dominance of BTC will decrease. I wonder what would have created so much panic among lower-class traders and investors who have exited the market. I think most of them are in Telegram and Discord groups and those groups sometimes share the news without confirming it, like i hear the news that CZ will leave the slot of CEO for Binance and "Teng Key" will become the new CEO. (Source). You might be wondering if that, news would have a big impact but it was shared about 8 to 10 hours ago that CZ will replace by Teng Key and some Telegram Influencer use these types of news in such scenarios which encourage investors and traders who are facing big losses, who can not think straight due to loss of big money and some of them fall prey to such news without even checking the source or background. Because we all know if you want to take action then it must be hurry because till then you could lose more and more.

Another reason is those countries like mine, whose governments have seized the use of Crypto exchanges and banned crypto all over the country, we are already living under the roof of pressure and such news will put more pressure on that roof.

Now, what will happen to the market, how down it will go? is there still room to go down or hitting $25k was the target?

First, I'd like to point out that Bitcoin is not a company and CZ is not Bitcoin's CEO. So, I'm really wondering why people are acting like this (panic selling BTC etc) as these characters and entities mentioned in this article should have no effect on Bitcoin.

Guys, enough of this shitcoin talk here in this thread. There's a nice altcoin forum part where you can share opinions on your beloved shitcoins and discuss all the news, including NFTs on your blockchain etc. This thread is for Bitcoin and ordinals.  Cool

Depending on who you ask, Ordinals might also be labelled as shitcoins.

They're even worse than that. Shitcoins are just sitting in their respective god-forgotten blockchains and not causing any damage to Bitcoin users. Not spamming anyone, not interfering with blockchain processes. I wish Ordinals were like shitcoins.  Cool

Zverev v Dimitrov under way right now. Sascha won the first set easily 6:1 but then Grigor managed to break him early in the 2nd. What happened next is hard to explain. The Bulgarian lost his serve and then something like 14 or 15 points in a row. They showed Dani Vallverdu's face several times and he looked very concerned about the situation. Then Dimitrov lost the set after a series of unexplainable unforced errors. Set nr 3 now and things are looking good for Sascha.

Grin

Having begun the gas blackmail of Europe before Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Kremlin miscalculated the prediction of further events and is now suffering enormous losses.
Thus, as of May 25, 2023, for the first time in two years, gas prices in Europe have collapsed to a psychological minimum. In Europe, exchange prices for gas fell below $300 per 1,000 cubic meters. m.
"Gas prices are down more than 65% this year and there is little indication that the decline will end any time soon... Stocks are filling up fast and are likely to be fully filled earlier than usual," writes Bloomberg.

It is noted that the market, in particular, has seen significant energy production in Germany through the use of solar pagels, reaching an unprecedented level.
The agency predicts that by 2030, wind and solar energy will impact 76% of total production.

In such a situation, Europe will definitely not need Russian gas, but we'll see what Russia will do with its gas.

It seems that we will not see Nadal on the tennis courts for a long time, certainly not this year and maybe only next year.
After such a long tennis break, how ready will Nadal be for top tennis and can we expect him to play at the top level again and try to win the GS in Paris again?
It seems to me that we are now looking at the end of a great tennis career and that the way is now open for Djokovic to win a record number of GS titles.
What do you think?

I think it will be the end of Nadal and that after Federer he will be the next to retire. Both Federer and Nadal didn’t really have major injuries in the beginning but once you get older, your body is more prone to injuries and heals slower. Djokovic will probably win one or more grandslams but we with the upcoming superstar (Alcaraz) it will be not so easy for him.

Yes, for Nadal it seems the end of his career is near. Next year he's turning what? 38? For his style of play it's like Roger turning 45. I fear his body is refusing to go on with this exhausting rhythm. And I'm not so sure about Djokovic as well. He had a number of injuries this year, most notable an elbow injury, possibly issues with his back. Frankly, I don't see him winning RG this year.
