long posts is not always good quality posts. as long as your post is useful and/or constructive it's good enough.
edit: IF you're talking about sig campaign managers view on posts quality, ask them.

Yeah I'd like to know how they handle confirmation times too. Do customers need to leave some ID or something in case the transaction gets cancelled?
If the taxi driver has any hidden camera in his car then i don't think it's needed any ID, i was wondering what will happen if the transaction gets stucked with low-zero fee. I think the idea is to have the customers register on thecoinpay.com then pay from there.

-snip- i advice you to change all your passwords -snip-
yeah but after you scan your PC for any malwares. that's an awful lot of different IPs though. could be from one person who uses multiple proxies.

How many posts do I have to make to get to jr. Member? I'm assuming activity and posts are not 1:1
post count doesnt affect activity that much, only if you have potential activity. to get activity you must be active atleast every activity period so you can get 14 points every 2 weeks The reason I ask is because I'd like to make a new topic for a service with images. I hope I don't have to wait too long to do so. Are you saying I'm going to have to wait a month to become a jr. member? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) 2 weeks and four days to be precise (because this activity period is almost over). of course you still have to reach at least 30 posts to become a jr member.

thanks but after much consideration I've decided to hold and wait for that $450 before I will reconsider whether I should hold further or sell. ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif)

increasing or decreasing rate of btc is normal but why its happend...?
Do you mean the price of bitcoin? Just like any other currencies or stocks, the price is determined by the demand and supply. just like anything that can be bought, really. as people who needs it increases and the supply decreases, the price increases.

Why not use a lite wallet?
Or blockchain.info?
I have my wallet.dat and I have my addresses there , I want to use them to sign messages that's why I don't want to switch somewhere else. (not even sure if I can import the addresses and sign from blockchain.info or not) . You can import your addresses to any decent wallet, including Blockchain.info. I use both Electrum and Blockchain.info , I can see that we can import using the private keys on BLockchain but can we sign and verify messages ? and for what comes to Electrum , if I import private keys , can I recover them using the seed later ? or new imported addresses cannot be retreived using the seed blockchain.info can sign but not verify. wallet created by importing private key to electrum can't be retrieved from seed but you still have the private key so you can make a new one. edit: ofc if the imported wallet generates new addresses they can't be recovered unless you save the priv keys.

Hey guys, new to this forum. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I want to start trading in bitcoins and need a small loan of 0.5 BTC. I will return back 0.6BTC to whoever lends me the money within maybe a month(give or take a decade) fixed it for ya. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) in all seriousness, go get a collateral or lock this topic as no sane person will give you a loan without a collateral.

I'm just thinking of how does blockchain gets delays from took 10-30 minutes or more since blockchain has an automated script.. Do they check each bitcoin transaction manually or something??
delays in what, exactly? if you mean delay in tx confirmation. the answer is the tx have to be verified by miners, and they do this when they find a new block. and each block takes about 10 minutes (or way longer) to mine.

simply disconnect before you open the wallet? or set the proxy setting to IP 127.0.0.1 and whatever port.

without knowing who satoshi really is and what he's into we can't tell for sure what he's going to do with his coins (if he still have them).
satoshi can choose to leave them, spend small amounts now and then or just dump the whole thing to make massive fortune (unlikely).
I can't help but suspect that the whole bitcoin community will be scared shitless if satoshi ever shows up and claims that he really does have those coins.

The transaction has now 66 confirmations, I didn't expect that ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Anyway, on the website (blockchain.info) there is a setting that adds 10k satoshi per KB, on the android app I can't find it...so the next time I'll use the website ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Thanks for the help guys!!! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) instead blindly of setting the fee to 10k sat per KB everytime you send some btc you should take a look at this site shorena linked above and set the fee manually. the recomended fee isn't fixed at 10k satoshi per KB. for example right now the recommended fee is around 20K sat per KB.

there's no sure way of knowing if the account have been sold or not without some proof (from admin (won't happen), original owner, buyer who got PM, etc.).
his received and sent trusts indicates that JWU42 almost never use escrow in his deals. also no password change in past month.
up to you to trust him or not. IMHO it's better to use escrow when you're not sure or find another user to trade with. better safe than sorry.

the tx have a big size because it is spending a lot of inputs. it's still unconfirmed because you didn't pay the recommended fee.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what do you have to do to become a member, instead of being a newbie on this forum? Thanks!
by reaching 60 activity. read this for the rest. the answer for the inevitable question about how activity is calculated is also there.

How do I then change the Password?
the restored wallet won't have a password even if it have one previously. you'll get prompted to enter a new password.
