Дефляционна не природа биткоина сама по себе, а такой её делает распространённость сберегательной модели экономического поведения среди биткоин-пользователей. Это важное различие, потому что нельзя поменять природу биткоина, но можно поменять модель поведения биткоин-пользователей. Ну например, если запустить в сети волну высококачественного фуда, что дескать новейший квантовый компьютер с числом кубитов овердохуя успешно взломал алгоритм шифрования SHA-256 - быстро выяснится что природа биткоина вполне себе инфляционная, а модель поведения биткоин-пользователей ещё быстрее сменится с ходла на паник-селл. |

I think the move towards dedollarization is a complex issue with potential advantages and disadvantages. А как быть с неизбежным процессом "потери" биткоинов.
Уже кто то насчитал ~6 миллионов BTC потеряно навсегда. Процесс конечно сильно замедлился при текущих ценах, но он неизбежно идёт все равно. И вполне может исчислятся этими самыми ~ 1,8%.в год.
Ну может чуть меньше.
Процесса потери биткоинов не существует, это ещё один широко распространённый миф, который пользуясь случаем тоже хочу развеять. Неизбежным и вполне реальным в силу наличия присутствия энтропии Вселенной является процесс потери незадачливыми владельцами контроля над своими приватными ключами, дающими право потратить выходы с публичных адресов, сами биткоины при этом никуда не теряются. Открываешь любой блокчейн эксплорер и они все родимые там как на ладони. Эти оценки про "потеряно навсегда" высосаны из пальца. Если условный мильён битков Сатоши никогда никуда не двигался - это не значит, что контроль над ними утерян навсегда, даже если предположение об этом кажется весьма заманчивым. И если какой-то конкретный лох проебал свой старый жёсткий диск, на который он десять лет назад намайнил тыщу битков - это не значит что он не напиздел, чтобы тупо хайпануть. И даже если он не напиздел и реально проебал, это не значит что контроль над этой тыщей битков тоже навсегда утрачен, потому что шанс восстановить утраченный приватный ключ ничтожный, но строго говоря он всё таки не нулевой. Анализируя блокчейн мы можем определить точный процент монет, активно участвующих в обороте, а также динамику изменения этого процента во времени в зависимости от текущей стадии адопшена, и ещё дохуя чего, но точно определить сколько монет навсегда утрачено я например хуй знает как. Кажется в блокчейне есть специальный адрес для сжигания, от которого даже теоретически не существует приватного ключа - вот только насчёт монет на этом адресе можно уверенно сказать, что они утрачены из оборота навсегда. Насчёт всего остального можно только строить более или менее правдоподобные догадки имени тычка пальцем в небо. Этот процесс в отличие от фиата никак нельзя не учитывать.
В фиате процесс потери тоже существует и даже возможно что гораздо более распространён. Сколько нала сгнило в забытых тайниках, сгорело при пожарах и безнала обнулилось при банковских программных сбоях - тайна сия великая есть. |
