881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When terrorist attacks are carried out using Bitcoin will there be a backlash? on: December 04, 2013, 01:05:34 PM
Not as long as they don't have anything against Bitcoin as such, they will not.
882  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will Bitcoin Reach $10,000 One Day? on: December 04, 2013, 01:01:10 PM
will not happen.

The value is stuck between 1000$ and 6600 Yuans. Each day it fluctuates, evolves between those two levels.

Also 1000$ can be 'easily'  spent, can be a part a your wages, but 10000 $ it too much.
I don't really understand your comment? Explain please.

I would not be surprised if it happened 2014. But it's hard to know how the price will change.

Hello, I would like to ask a couple of questions about buying different coins.

I plan on buying about 10 different coins (those who you can buy thousands of for $10), but I dont know where can I buy them. Do I need a different wallet for each of them or is there any other btter way? I plan on holding them for some time and then come back to check Smiley

Cryptsy offer most altcoins so you can buy many different coins. You have to install walet for every coin (seems security risky to me) or leave the coins at Cryptsy and risk losing the coins.
To leave them at Cryptsy is risky. As long as you don't control your private keys you don't own your coins. Never trust a third party with any coins.

The link is not working........
As niothor said, you're probably not using TOR. If you don't want to run TOR you can use the .to proxy, so in this case it would be "http://silkroad6ownowfk.onion.to". It's not anonymous though, and you should not purchase anything or do anything that is illegal using it.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can a time traveler prove himself using the blockchain? on: November 30, 2013, 05:16:36 PM
You can't go back in time. Only forward.   Cool
Well, it's possible to go back in time if you travel faster than light. To bad it's impossible (according to Einstein)!

890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mac wallet for Peercoin? on: November 29, 2013, 06:51:06 PM
First off, I am not one of the Peercoin devs, but I am a big fan of the coin and the dev team. I saw a post recently about adding a Mac client but I do not think this has occurred yet (I too do most of my recreational computing on a Mac). Maxpower is the handle of a community member here who has created many Mac clients where necessary - if you want a more immediate solution, send him a PM and I am sure he would be happy to assist (just throw him some coin as a donation for his effort). Regarding the checkpoint warning, this will show until the whole block chain downloads. Just make sure you have the most recent version and if the block chain downloading seems to get stuck, close the client and then reopen it - this helped me when my download seemed to slow or get stuck. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the advices!
I don't have much in any cryptocoins at the moment, so it would not feel right to ask him for help and not donate Sad
I reopened the client multiple times after like 30 minutes sessions where it didn't download, so probably it's something in the code that wine can't understand.
I guess I have to wait for the official client then Sad
Thanks anyway! Smiley

@blacksails PPcoin-Qt is available for Mac, and I am currently running it on OS X 10.9 with no issues.

You can get it here:  https://github.com/ppcoin/ppcoin/wiki/Installation

Oh! Awesome! Many thanks! Smiley

Never trust anyone online, and make sure that the site you use is legit, especially if you have limited money supplies.
Sorry to hear about your loss!  Sad

Now I playing Assassins Creed 4, in fact I played all Assassins Creed games, a lot of fun everytime
I've played all of them that has come to PS3. But I've never finished the first one, since I find that game kinda boring and slow. Otherwise they have all been extremely entertaining!

Yes, you need the specific coin's client to use/store them. You can buy them on Cryptsy, I don't have anything negative to report of that site.
