The run chase was not very easy but Pakistan made it look easy to chase in the end. It was actually enjoyable for a lot of people but I think these types of pitches are not ideal for cricket, they should have a lot more faith in their bowlers and should prepare some bowling pitches.
What a great gesture by Babar Azam by giving his award to Kushdil.
Kushdil did a real justice - by making perfect runs and helped Pakistan win the match.
882  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: June 08, 2022, 09:34:05 PM
I saw news on CNN and CNBC that in this world gas reserves are very few and controlled by only a few countries including Russia, the process of making gas pipelines takes a long time especially now that many places have become residential so it is more difficult to meet gas, something that the most likely is the import of liquefied gas and of course a longer process is required.

Basically, I read the same things... infrastructure is a problem, it's a long process before gas starts coming! It's also expensive, very expensive... some countries don't have money for that, they will have to really on EU funds and loans probably!

Anyway, winter is coming! Like in Game of Thrones! Hot days started, so I guess we will not see much in the next few months... but when winter starts I expect some crazy things to happen! I don't see the end of this conflict, strong words are coming from all sides, diplomacy is not working, or we can say that some big countries decided to close diplomatic channels! I am not sure what will happen, this is something new for all of us and I just hope that this will not grow into some world war with nukes flying above our heads! Knowing governments and politicians (and my opinion about them is not nice) they are capable to shit on everything and everyone at any moment just because they can do it, and they have their own stupid arguments for that, so bigger conflict is a real possibility!

Discussion is easy - but this takes a lot of time and effect. The whole lot will again turn to Russia for their oil and gas supply.
The whole world was making sanction against Russia - without realizing the power Russia has. Let's see what crisis we see in coming days.
883  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: June 08, 2022, 09:29:10 PM

Those people that are also innocent will suffer from this boycotting. This isn't just and fair most especially if it's not proven that they support the horrendous acts of their leader. Their source of income will be at stake just because they are Russian citizens. Whereas not every Russian have the same values and principles.
Did the whole EU and the other world sanction stopped Putin from doing what he should have not done?
Putin is doing what he amid - despite of the fact the whole world turned against them - they will surive because the world look up to them for oil and gas, the world can live without gambling but not with our oil and gas.
884  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: June 08, 2022, 09:23:51 PM
Botany and agriculture is something that should be getting a lot more attention these days. Remember, we are growing as population, sure maybe we are slowed down a lot, but there are still too many people and the number is still going up, even though it is not as fast as it used to be. That means we are going to need more and more food, and we are going to need something that would benefit people with a much smaller land.

I keep saying that farming needs to move into buildings already, people who are still using huge lands to farm, are the old ways, and anyone who buys a whole tall building, and farms there, with workers, they will be the ones that will be the next Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, warren buffet, bill gates or whatever of our next generation. Anyone who builds an agriculture corp that raises foods in buildings will be next richest person.
It is hard time and there is not end to it. The only solution is to do a bit of saving both on money and environment.
Keeping the environment clean and green can be a great help to the people and to the environment - of course!
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 08, 2022, 09:10:55 PM
I agree with you. If the West Indies bowlers cannot pick up the wickets of Rizwan and Babar Azam, then Pakistan will win this match. At the end of 37 overs, Pakistan scored 207 runs. Pakistan will win if they can collect 99 runs in 13 overs. To win, they need to collect 7.61 runs per over. With experienced batsmen like Rizwan and Babar at the crease, it will not be difficult for Pakistan to score an average of 7.61 runs per over.
Babar Azam and Rizwan has made a good partnership together. The required run rate was increasing. Both of them got out while they were trying to hit the ball for boundaries. Although they have played poor shots. West Indies bowlers created pressure on the new batsmen, but Khushdil Shah has turned the game in favour of Pakistan by hitting 3 sixes in 47th over. Babar Azam got a century today, but the inexperienced Khushdil Shah deserve the credit for Pakistan victory. He has done a great finishing today.
Even in the scorching heat of Multan both teams gave their best.. Congrats to Pakistan for reviving the international cricket amid so much.
Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan looks good together. And congrats to Pakistan for the win.
886  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: June 08, 2022, 09:03:02 PM

Oh, Luna is a whole disaster, which reminded me of the old most important rule of an investor, that you need to be moderately careful and never lose vigilance in this matter. Because it is difficult to get rid of the feeling that the asset will not fall further when there is such a huge airbag and there is a persistent feeling that if not now, then only then the asset will win back its own and you will laugh at your fears. But this does not always happen, so in any case, you should never lose vigilance and invest all your funds in a single asset and always calculate the deviations. Sometimes it is still better to retreat and lose less than to persist, but of course you should not retreat all the time.
Yes - that is correct. Sometime good decisions turns out to be worse night mare. Luna was one such disaster.
People make hurry to invest in crypto without doing a. market reserach .. this is sad and unfortunate that you aim profit and you lose even the base money.
887  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: June 06, 2022, 07:33:02 PM
Investing in crypto doesn't always make a profit and sometimes it is a loss,
especially considering the current market conditions which is not an easy thing to make a decision,
the most important thing is to keep trying and the more we have more experience it will also make us better
That is only viable if we are talking about a situation where you will get a loss and then sell it instead of keep holding it. This market doesn't mean a loss for the people who are still holding, if you buy at 50k and it drops to 30k and then goes to 60k and that's when you sell, you just made a 10k profit, so as you can see even after a drop that doesn't mean it has to be a loss.

But, if you buy at 50k and sell at 49k right away, even that would be a loss. This is why I always say that if it is bitcoin that you bought, then do not sell it for a loss ever no matter what is going on, always try to have more and more because that is how you make a profit.
Crypto is a very technical stuff - most people do not have much awareness about the coin - like many invested in Luna and they ended up in misery.
So - take care of your money - and if you are going on profit - my two cents of suggestion is not to keeep all the money is the safe vault.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 06, 2022, 07:29:53 PM

Strange that you people have time to follow the matches between the weak teams like Namibia or Hong Kong. There was a time when no one even cared to know who won these matches but now I see people discussing extensively about them. Does these means that cricket is gaining more popularity and soon we will see these small teams giving tough competition to the big cricket playing nations?
Weak teams also need a bit of appreciation that they are playing and they need to be motivated and admired.
However - today WZ team has gone to Pakistan -they have landed at Multan - and they will be playing with Pakistan. The fans are very much excited - I have also got the pass and I will be enjoying the match in stadium.
889  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: June 06, 2022, 07:26:34 PM
i believe this is not the first time there will be food economic challenge and such will still happen to reoccur in the future ahead but what we can do is how to find a sustainable living amidst such, I don't believe in there won't be crisis but i so much believe in making a living out of it, we have to think and work out some strategies to make us able to over food challenge, if food problem is out of man's need then all his problems is almost solved, we should engage in adequate planning and source for two or more means of income, farming is another Advantage, most of our grandparents were farmers but we underestimate the potential in farming activities.
He can make a world a better place by working in his capacity - making a small kitchen garden for Joe himself and for the neighbours.
This can bring in some positive change in the environment and society. Little by little we can do it
890  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: June 06, 2022, 07:23:46 PM
The sanctions and boycotting of Russia and it's businesses are simply not working.  Roll Eyes  The rest of the world that are not part of this sanctions and boycotting are simply bypassing these restrictions and capitalizing on it. (Take India as an example ==> Buy Oil from Russia ==> Refine it ===> Sell it to Europe.)  Roll Eyes

A lot of Russian businessmen has already shifted their wealth into "Safe havens" and they are waiting for the Storm to blow over. (That is to say, if they are not assassinated before the War is over) = https://www.dw.com/en/mysterious-series-of-deaths-among-russian-oligarchs/a-61719107

To be honest I feel the exact same thing about the sanctions against Russia. In Western media it sounds like the sanctions are hurting Russia a lot and the Russian economy is on its knees. But they are saying this for 2 months now and I don't really see how Russia is really crumbling. How long will it really take for the sanctions to show effects? Because when we look to the rest of the world they are not united and will not impose sanctions. Big countries like India, China or Brazil already stated that their economies are connected too much to Russia and they rely on the trade. And this point the war needs to stop. How about of making new sanctions we get the two countries to sit down and make peace? I am against anymore boycott of Russian companies, including casinos. So we know that this revenues is directly funding the Ukraine war?
But see the double game - India supported Ukraine and yet they are dependent on Russia for thier oil supply.
These sections are surely not going to work. because are mentioned above most of the country trade and energy supply is depended on Russia.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you also a holder of one of these coins? on: June 06, 2022, 07:20:28 PM
Yes dca is being recommended lately by many users in the forum but they meant to dca good coins only like bitcoin, ethereum and binance coin, not meme coins like apecoin but I don't know about the other coins on your list if they are also like apecoin that is only driven by hype.

You said you are willing to accumulate till the next halving, that would be 2 years from now and that's a long accumulation period but I think in the next two years, all the coins on your list are already dying or have completely died already. The money that you invested with them for 2 years is only going to be wasted. Better if you go on something that is proven already like the three coins that I mentioned first.
None - I dont have anyone of them.
and I strongly repent for not investing in crypto but on other hand I have seen so many loses that I got scared to invest in crypto. The hacking has blown my mind so I decided to invest in local business.
892  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: June 05, 2022, 07:29:55 PM
An average Joe can start with trying to cultivate the land to plant and harvest his own food. That is in my opinion, the best way to avoid starving to death. In doing so, the average Joe can cultivate and plant crops for his personal consumption and cool also plant some cash crops to sell and buy whatever  cannot provide for himself.
It's also wise for the average Joe to stock up on grains as much as as he cold. Those are easier to store and keep for a long while.
It's just best to be self-reliant.
Save up a bit. Try to have your own small kitchen garden where you can get a handful of vegetables daily. So you can save a bit.
Try to save water - use biodegradable items. and live a minimalist life. Follow the life style less is more.

People said Trump was not a good administer - but I liked Trump. He was far better than Biden.
It has always been like this that people think the past was better, that's why concepts such as nostalgia exist. In a couple of years from now when Trump comes back and the American Empire falls apart some more, you are going to say Senile Joe was a better president Tongue
Regardless of what it actually is, everyone is free to have their own opinion regarding the president.
and that's a common thing as long as there's no hate speech,
we also have to be fair in judging Joe Biden by judging him at the end of his term
PUtin in smart - he knows that the world will be in trouble with our oil, gas and wheat. So nothing would happen to them if the whole world would turn against them.
They can take care of themselves as they have strong defence too. So I think EU should act wisely and try to solve the issue through dialogue.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 05, 2022, 07:25:13 PM

Let's not focus much on this match. When you win so many matches, losing a single match is not a big deal. We have won the series and that is more important for us. Smiley

Congraulations to the Team Srilanka on winning this match and also for visiting Pakistan for this series.
Congratulation to Pakistan Team for winning the tournament and well played Sri Lankan team.
The tournament brought a fresh wave of happiness amid crisis going on in Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
895  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: June 05, 2022, 07:23:01 PM
Well if the the sanctions which have been imposed by the US and their allies have not been enough to stop Putin from invading Ukraine it was unlikely a small boycott was going to have too much of an impact, but despite all of this if people want to vote with their wallet and not support any casino which has any kind of relationship with Russia then they are on their right to do so.
Putin knows that he has power and without oil and gas world would collapse. So he is not listening to anyone. Even the sanctions had no effects on Russia and seem like they are going to invade most past of Ukraine. Sad for Ukraine but Putin should have mercy on people and stop the war.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: June 04, 2022, 08:00:31 PM

The projects that are in the market for a long time are mostly dealing with solid products, which are designed to solve different problems. Projects that quickly create hype and start a new trend in the market, resulting in a lot of similar projects coming up and at some point that trend ends. There is no calculation of how many trends are coming in these few days. But at the end of the day, the hype of those projects could not hold and now it is being dumped. So you should focus more on solid projects, short term hype may give you quick profit but in the end those projects will fail to hold their hype.
If you earn money even through short term project and you are happy with them. Just get the money and invest in long term projects.
The inflation is so high that you need to earn so much money to keep yourself with the pace of the world.
897  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: June 04, 2022, 07:58:07 PM
This could be an effective approach but I guess even if we boycott the Russian gambling platforms, it still couldn't stop the war because aside from taxes from gambling, they still have lots of resources to support their current war. Innocent lives are already suffering from what is happening to their country but I believe that this too shall pass. The sad thing is, that this war could continuously take more lives.
Although it did not have any effect on Russia from the boycott of the gambling platform but it is only a small effort on our part not to support war on Ukrainian territory. I hope the war will end soon because many soldiers and civilians have fallen victim to the war without knowing when it will end.
I would not support the boycott. There are so many other countries which are in trouble due to powerful countries invasions. There are so many sufferers in Afghanistan, Iran, Kashmir, Yamen, Syria, Palestine. That they also need a bit of world's attention.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 04, 2022, 07:55:34 PM
Pakistan women's cricket team, after winning the T20 series with the Srilankans has managed to win the One Day International series also. They have won the two one-day matches and the third and final ODI will be played tomorrow in Karachi. If Pakistan wins this match (which I am sure they will), then it will be a washout in the ODI and T20 Series. What a significant achievement by the Pakistan women's cricket team after their disappointing performance in the world cup.
Finally some good news coming up up for Pakistani. The women team finally showing some magic.
I am not sure what has gone wrong with them during the world cup - but good that they learnt their weakness fast and covered them quick. Looking fwd for the next match.
899  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: June 04, 2022, 07:50:04 PM

Biden requested gas and oil middle east countries to produce for them but the leaders were not responding anymore to Biden. Due to Biden showing weakness, OPEC countries now have the gall to decline US. While they are not importing gas and oil though, their economy is also plummeting.
Saudis economy also depend on oil and gas imports. I think they were successful in negotiating Venezuelan gas.

Fascinating to see leaders in EU just shut their mouths while they suffer as US is still buying Russian gas to sell to EU.
People said Trump was not a good administer - but I liked Trump. He was far better than Biden.
Now because of USA and Russia Clash the whole world is in chaos - the world is in trouble for wheat and for oil the most important thing in the world.
900  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: June 04, 2022, 07:46:38 PM
There are not really a lot that you can do..... the food prices has already increased substantially and I think there are not a lot of people in the position to buy bulk at these inflated prices. Even if you buy in bulk, most food items have an expiry date... so you will have to use those food items within a few months..or it will spoil.  Roll Eyes

I buy certain food items that last longer in bulk, like Rice & Flour & Tea & Powered Milk & Oats & Red Wine ...etc. Most of these products will last a year or longer.... so I am hoping that everything will return to normal....way before they reach their expiry date.  Tongue
The wise people are investing in food business - the high inflation all around the globe has put everyone in so much trouble. So saving is very helpful.
Save money, save water, save food and save your health. You can do some real magic - if you save yourself from the toxic stuff and people.
