881  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: October 28, 2011, 11:34:21 AM
Hello,

I had to be paid about an hour ago and I see that payment in the log (https://deepbit.net/payments), but I don't see it in my wallet and when I try to see the transaction details (https://blockexplorer.com/tx/3dea894a2f2c5a37c48513db618dabc695c08370f45e228279c2619d9745f592) it says "No such transaction".

Are there any problems with payouts?

Thanks.
No problem with payouts & the link shows 0.77900625 btc in the transaction & address.

I may be late to the party, quick question:  Would it be possible for you to throttle your connections to where if you start to exceed 50% of the total network, it refuses any other workers from connecting?
1) There is no way to know for sure if it's more than 50% or not.
2) Exceeding 50% doesn't hurts my pool or my users, so there is no need for such countermeasures, especially when wast majority of bitcoin community do not care about that.

Until bitcoin developers release solution for 51% attack blaming pools is foolishness.
Already enough times blamed pool owners that pool owners may attack, but its the bitcoin developers who have to give solution, not pool owners.

Instead of every time asking pool owners, whether they will attack or not, or asking what will happen if they attack, better ask bitcoin developers to release solution.
It seems after bitcoin price fell down bitcoin developers showing LESS INTEREST in bitcoin development.

P gives you:

Current pool management strategy: Failover
[A]dd pool [R]emove pool [D]isable pool [E]nable pool
[C]hange management strategy [S]witch pool [I]nformation

S gives you:

[L]ongpoll: On

Vddc: 1.200 V
Activity: 93%
Powertune: 0%

Thread 0: 62.4 Mh/s Enabled ALIVE
Thread 1: 60.2 Mh/s Enabled ALIVE

[E]nable [D]isable [R]estart GPU [C]hange settings
Or press any other key to continue

---
Also many issues and FAQs are covered in the forum thread
dedicated to this program,
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=28402.0

The output line shows the following:
 GPU 1: 73.5C 2551RPM | 427.3/443.0Mh/s | A:8 R:0 HW:0 U:4.39/m

Each column is as follows:
Temperature (if supported)
Fanspeed (if supported)
A 5 second exponentially decaying average hash rate
An all time average hash rate
The number of accepted shares
The number of rejected shares
The number of hardware erorrs
The utility defines as the number of shares / minute

The cgminer status line shows:
 TQ: 1  ST: 1  SS: 0  DW: 0  NB: 1  LW: 8  GF: 1  RF: 1

TQ is Total Queued work items.
ST is STaged work items (ready to use).
SS is Stale Shares discarded (detected and not submitted so don't count as rejects)
DW is Discarded Work items (work from block no longer valid to work on)
NB is New Blocks detected on the network
LW is Locally generated Work items
GF is Getwork Fail Occasions (server slow to provide work)
RF is Remote Fail occasions (server slow to accept work)

NOTE: Running intensities above 9 with current hardware is likely to only
diminish return performance even if the hash rate might appear better. A good
starting baseline intensity to try on dedicated miners is 9. Higher values are
there to cope with future improvements in hardware.

Tor is a good & brilliant choice.
It may not be good for file p2p downloading, coz of huge continuous heavy bandwidth requirement.
But may be good for mining. coz their is no need for huge bandwidth for mining.
Only problem is needing instant continuous connection.

Its very sad that pool has NO CONTACT INFO.
I forgot my password to pool, so can't change any settings.
There is NO LINK in the pool site to contact anyone to change password or for any other things.
Seems just this thread is the only option to ask for change password.

Yet, I have no PM from you. I have said, if you need to contact me, PM me. This is on the website for you now.

So stop trolling my thread. I've made it very clear about the password. Your password can only request an auto payout, and change your threshold. I've salted, peppered, and secured the password you submitted to me. How the FUCK am I supposed to reset it for you? How are you supposed to reset it? Anyone that knows your address should be able to reset it?

I don't require an email or any bullshit to sign up. It's an address. It's an easy thing to do. You're not even mining on my pool. So, stop trolling, and go away.

If you want to handle this like a mature adult, please PM me with what you would like to accomplish. I can't reset your password, but if you PM me I would be more than happy to set your threshold to a different amount, or payout all your coins for you and disable your account. Please, just let me know. You can ask anyone that has contacted me via the approved channels I've been more than happy to help them.

 Tongue

Very funny you got so much angry for my post.
I didn't sent PM coz i recovered password myself.

Their is NO info to PM TO WHOM in your pool. I checked faq which DIDN'T says to "PM wannaBhacker", coz he is the owner of the pool.
You added contact us after i posted & there too, you only mentioned to contact this thread & never mentioned that if needed "pm to WANNABHACKER"
I am mining in your pool also. you can check that too.
Have some patience before replying.
Its true you are the first one to create a pool for mining Litecoin.
It doesn't mean you have to get anger for not mentioning whom to PM in the site itself, just giving thread link & also not mentioning your name ANYWHERE IN YOUR OWN POOL ITSELF.

First GET COURAGE to put at least your forum name in YOUR OWN POOL ITSELF, then you can say i am trolling.

You just have 76 posts that too after you created this thread & you registered on June 2011 only.
While i have registered more than 10 months back & you can read ALL MY POSTS which is around 950 & can find in which of my posts i TROLLED ABOUT ANYONE OR ANYTHING then you can use word FUCK , BULLSHIT.....
I too know English some what.
892  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1400 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); Now LP&Ntime, NMC merged mining on: October 17, 2011, 04:47:00 PM
I thought its "greater than or equal to" instead of "less than or equal to"
coz of huge amount of NMC can be mined due to low difficulty at least for some short time.
893  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1400 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); Now LP&Ntime, NMC merged mining on: October 17, 2011, 09:13:03 AM
dishwara: what about trying to set it to less than twenty, as the error message suggests?

Less than 20 works. But that means more than 3-5 payout daily.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: - Crypto X Change Launch Announcement - on: October 17, 2011, 09:10:06 AM
Since i am from India, i am sure a lot people will involve once bitcoin show some boost.
It just need to be displayed on local TV channels, & also need some bubbles.

From India, only way to send money legally is through bank only. The Income Tax dept is very strict now to capture black money.
So, for even to send through paypal, have to deposit money to bank which has transaction with paypal.
But paypal is very arrogant nowadays abusing guidelines given by RBI & telling it customers that RBI restricting money transfer, which is actually not.
Another way is to use LRUSD. But that have to be bought & send & many dont accept LRUSD.
Else illegal ways like HAWALA.

Bitcoin is a very easy method to transfer funds.
i am considering this example will most use in future to transfer money.
deposit to bank money, buy bitcoins, send bitcoins to some trust worthy in forums, from them send to any one in the world through WU, money gram.......even to banks directly, which will reduce expensive transfer cost middle banks take for direct international money transfer.

so tired of changing passwords

In this day and age there is absolutly ZERO reason to use any part of the same e-mail, username, password, etc for more than one site. Something that takes 2 minutes to do will save hours of headache and butt hurt in the long run.....

Sure it will take 2 minutes to have a new password. But the problem of remembering them forever or using some password remembering softwares to store password is time consuming.
Still, anyone give me good password managing software names please.
Both KeePass and LastPass get the terrytibbs scammer seal of approval!

No. Really, they're good. 1Password on the Macintosh should be quite good, too.

Thanks

Account refuses to SAVE threshold value for NMC.
I think when saving my NMC address i gave 3.0 as threshold.
Now i try to change to any integer or integer with fraction, 30 or 30.0 or 45..... any numbers gives this error message in screen shot & refuses to SAVE.

thanks slush. just a little bug on the web ...
in the payout history it says i just got paid 120 BTC ... (i wish Smiley )

My payout too, so far it said 155 BTC now it says 355 BTC. (155 BTC + 200 NMC actually)

A pool with out any contact info & no way to change password.....is not worth to be proud.

Last days were very hard for me and I was doing my best to recover pool to normal operation as fast as possible. During those very long nights I had many thoughs if this is the end of the pool; people will leave it because it isn't working realiably soo long. Now I see hashrate is slowly rising back to normal, which is the best satisfaction for all my work. Thank you a lot for your support!

This what Ddos attackers want. People leave pool & stop mining. But we are not going to stop, even get attacked daily.
Bitcoin will live forever & also it forms the base of all cryto currencies & change the way money is handled.
