881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 14, 2020, 02:31:46 PM
As far as i know SriLanka dos not have any indoor stadiums and seriously will the Indian fans will agree to host their favorite tournament in srilanka and not in their home ground India ?  Will the players from Australia, England and other countries willing to travel to srilanka to play the IPL ?
To avoid the potential loss, if BCCI decides to host this season on Srilanka, why not? It's true that a lot of fan would never love that but if possible it should be done and I think there will be no problem with players from other country to play in Srilanka.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💜 [ONION] DeepOnion 💜 Modern Privacy with Real Use Cases 💜 on: May 14, 2020, 02:22:42 PM
Haha The only question is whether the service shares this data with someone else, and how widespread this practice is.
As far as I know, even some Russian banks sell their customers' data.
It's a centralize payment service and I'm quite sure it's unlikely that they will not sell user information. As I said above on other statement, I would say no one planning to use such a privacy coin should ever use such services to purchase or sell ONION.
883  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 2 New Fake Chipmixer website on: May 14, 2020, 02:11:52 PM
I think I've seen a similar letter with other known exchanges like Binance. That special character is being used by these abusers to fake websites that has letter e on its domain.
Most of the phishing sites are based on homograph letter. You can change the i,a,e which looks same as the actual one and it makes easy to target even very smart trader with a lot of experience. It's an old school method of phishing.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So it looks like Cobra is planning on passing on the Bitcoin.org domain on: May 14, 2020, 01:13:04 PM
Though I doubt Cobra will just sell the domain to someone like Roger, holy fuck if Roger actually gets to own two high-authority Bitcoin domains.
I don't think Cobra will just hand over the domain to Roger, as we can see the reply on twitter. He will definitely hand over to someone trusted and of course a supporter of BTC.
It would be better if some trusted from the bitcointalk forum could have the access of it, may be theymos?
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Three ways people are using Lightning Network on: May 13, 2020, 02:24:04 PM
While we are talking about scalability and the cheaper cost of tx with Lightning Network, there are some more emerging use case of Lightning Network which have been shared by Lightning Lab CEO Elizabeth Stark. I think this is a interesting read- https://decrypt.co/28645/three-surprising-ways-use-bitcoin-lightning-network
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance listing can't erase price dump on: May 13, 2020, 02:05:29 PM
If the project itself can't create enough demand in the market, no exchange can bring them a good future. If certain coin has its usage in real life, it's demand will be high and no matter which exchange it is listed, it will have a good performance.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Platform for playing Teen Patti with BTC on: May 12, 2020, 02:23:38 PM
Lol.. My bad then  Grin

I should have mentioned this before that its Dealer vs You. Couple of time i won fair amount of money in BTC but dealer always wins in the end. Win-lost is part of the game anyway.

Another interesting part is majority of dealers are from former USSR countries.. so sometimes i tell them "India or Raj Kapoor" and 2 out of 5 times they sing a song "Awara hun" in response, so its fun too  Grin Grin
It's not all about win/loss, you know you will not get the fun with teen patti gambling unless you are playing on a table with couple of persons. Dealer vs you will not get you the satisfaction.
I didn't try for a single time there though.
888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be aware of Halving Giveaway on: May 12, 2020, 02:03:32 PM
Yes you are right, BTC12 is a huge amount in current date. AFAIK, for current halving they are only have Halving Quiz event, the reward on BNB not in BTC.
Are you referring to this- https://binance.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042949272-Binance-Will-Launch-a-12-5-BTC-Bounty-Program-for-the-Bitcoin-Halving-Complete-Tasks-Earn-BTC-
It's quite hard to obtain unless you are a day trader because if someone just wants to have advantage from this giveaway, I doubt they will get a good amount. All the rules are quite expensive to fulfill unless as I said you are a regular trader.
889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner's misconceptions about Bitcoin halving on: May 12, 2020, 01:32:54 PM
1. The supply will decrease
The supply people are talking about is the usual supply of BTC in the market. Miners sell the BTC to maintain their cost. Before halving, they could have sold 12.5 BTC per block for example which would be available in the market while now, they will be able to sell 6.25 BTC. That's saying, the supply will decrease. I got your point also.

2. The price will increase
The price thing is just a speculation for sure. It is expected that due to the less supply of BTC in the market, there will be a gap between supply and demand (which will not decrease). It may cause the price pump.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible that number of miners will decrease for a while? on: May 12, 2020, 01:09:20 PM
For some it can still be cost effective, with professional equipment and confidence in the potential of BTC.
Most miners are kind of investors, they invest because they have profit from mining. No one would mine if they had loss from it. If the price goes below, I'm sure we will see less number of miners in the chain. This may give you a good idea about it- https://tokeneo.com/bitcoins-hashrate-has-fallen-by-40-this-month-btc-miners-to-capitulate/
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to take advantage of any market situation on: May 12, 2020, 01:00:21 PM
You are not going to have a good profit from such a case of course. It can never be a good portfolio from an investor point of view. I would either hold on BTC or convert all of them to USDT.

Halving is finally over and many feels disappointed because they expected bullrun to kick instantly
It never will kick instantly but sooner or later due to the gap in enough supply of ETH, there will be sudden increase in BTC price.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CMC Misleading new projects on: May 11, 2020, 01:46:32 PM
CMC is known for having wrong data but they are basically putting that responsibility on people (traders/investors) and the exchanges. They are basically saying "this is the data we get from the places and we are not responsible for checking how accurate it is".
Every crypto tracking site is doing that but that doesn't make anything legit. They have responsibility to provide most possible accurate info to the users which they don't do while Coingecko have a lot of metrics to provide info as much as possible.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is it possible that number of miners will decrease for a while? on: May 11, 2020, 01:41:07 PM
With the recent halving of block rewards, the incentive will be lower than previous for miner. On the other hand, the cost for them will still be same which may not be profitable for a while (I'm not sure about this). If it is true, is it possible that some miners will just leave mining for a while until they get back in a equilibrium or in profit? What fo you think?
894  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be aware of Halving Giveaway on: May 11, 2020, 01:30:58 PM
It's a giveaway, are we meant to send instead of receiving bitcoins. What kind of giveaway requires participants to send coins?
Usually giveaways are free to join but scammers create fake giveaway where you are required to send X amount of BTC to receive X amount of BTC. These types of giveaway are fake. People should not make the mistake and send the BTC, that's what I'm saying.
895  Other / Beginners & Help / Be aware of Halving Giveaway on: May 11, 2020, 01:15:29 PM
Halving is knocking the door and we are pretty close to the 630000 blocks and after that the reward will be halved. However, I'm sure that scammers will try to take advantage of this halving and try to create fake giveaway. Don't send any bitcoin if any giveaway asks. Stay safe.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Platform for playing Teen Patti with BTC on: May 11, 2020, 01:03:43 PM
Pffrt try sportsbet..

Go to live casino (Under casino tab) > search Teen patti.

and then you are good to go.. They have Andar Bahar too.
Again quoting you.
It's not a PvP game as I was looking for. I thought it's the same as we played in real life and same as we played in different apps. It's me versus the dealer which is not quite interesting and it will certainly get me a lot of loss at the end. I was looking for Teen Patti table where 4/5 players can join and play. I think there's no such game.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small Investors are losing Bitcoin by Investing in Altcoins? on: May 10, 2020, 03:55:28 PM
In other words, you can say that most of the altcoin projects are here for stealing bitcoin. Trust me, that'swhat I have been observing for the last few years. Most of the times, newbie gets fucked though. A lot of projects were there in 2018 which just come out of nothing but steal a few thousands of BTC from the investors.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading answers needed on: May 10, 2020, 03:50:53 PM
I think you are looking for future trading. However, you can try the binany (a platform) where you can gain profit if you can predict the price will be up or down. I have not used the platform but as far as I know it’s a good one for this.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coindeal token CDL - Should I invest ? on: May 10, 2020, 03:47:57 PM
CoinDeal is not a good exchange in my opinion. They don't have a lot of reputation. I don't think it would be a good idea to go with such an exchange token for investing. In long run, you may lose the BTC you invested.
It's not clear whether this is a scam project or not consider about there was no a scam accusation for this project and some people have been saying this is a good exchange site but just take it based on the demand that has already gotten by exchange site and it seems like this is not a recommended coin to invest. i do agree about that and it's better moving to a better one.
It's not a scam project of course and they are legit so far. They have partnership with  Wolverhampton Wanderers FC even which is a part of English Premier League. That makes sense that they are serious in there business but I don't think it’s worthy to invest in such an exchange token.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💜 [ONION] DeepOnion 💜 Modern Privacy with Real Use Cases 💜 DeepOnion News on: May 10, 2020, 02:27:25 PM

Dude, your words are rotten. Take a break and probably less "coffee", just find another project which is fine for you.
A lot of investors have put a huge sum in this project and you know their words will be rotten when you see things are not going well at all. We would have been in a lot of better situation from now. DeepVault has been there for a lot of times and it's from beginning. What's the real world acceptance of DeepVault? Are anyone using that in real life at all or not? You know things should have been done in different ways.
