881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses $19,000 on Coinbase! on: December 07, 2017, 04:40:40 PM
It is really surprising how Bitcoin price increased this fast, I never imagine this, though I know it will be increasing but not this kind of phase. It was just around $11k the other day now it is more than $18k. What worries me is the correction after but oh well I think we have to take advantage of this stuff now.  Buy on Dip sell on increase.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 06, 2017, 07:08:31 AM
Any establishment accepting Bitcoin especially if it is a huge company as this is a great accomplishment for Bitcoin.  I believe this makes sense for those who deliver goods since they do not have to accept fiat currency payment and won't be a target of people who have evil intentions of stealing money from these delivery personnel.  This will definitely put Bitcoin to more places in the world.
883  Economy / Economics / Re: Where Will The Digital Economy Take Us? on: November 26, 2017, 11:48:53 PM
What will happen with Blockchain technology in the next 50 years?

Blockchain will be used by different company, and by the government.  I also believe that Blockchain technology will be developed to the point that everything in digital world will rely on it.  Even though 50 years is too long, we can still project that this so called Blockchain technology will be the main thing when it comes to digital world.  Adoption, development and application things that will greatly involved in blockchain for the next 50 years.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wall street move into Bitcoin next month on: November 26, 2017, 11:34:04 PM
Wow this is awesome.  The effort of getting noticed had been paid with great acceptance for wall street.  This will definitely push Bitcoin into bullish trend. I am seeing series of new ATH from here.  It seems government will be forced to accept and welcome Bitcoin after this thing happen.
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: seed storage on: November 26, 2017, 11:19:49 PM
I believe that having what OP in mind would securely keep the seeds but as of me I would not get that far.  Simply being quiet about my holdings and keeping these pass keys and private keys locked in my stash would definitely keep others away from getting it.  Trezor or Nano Ledger is good but if someone really wanted to steal your coin/token personally then you won't do anything about it, since they will do dirty tricks just to make you give him these stuff.
886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump/Correction @ 10k on: November 22, 2017, 11:35:41 PM
Many investors looks $10,000 as their selling point, so definitely, when this price is achieved, many bitcoin holders that set that amount as selling price will sell their Bitcoin and that events will definitely trigger a dump and correction.  I just hope that when that thing happen, it won't dump hard making Bitcoin price to fall below $9,500.  After the dump correction will occur.
887  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum after 5 years? on: November 22, 2017, 11:20:52 PM
Ethereum won't last long. As soon as someone will provide users with better technology they'll switch, as the important part of using Ethereum is using other based-on cryptocurrencies. For bitcoin, tho, because it is first and is the most recognized one, the future shines bright. Especially with the trend of illegalizing ICO's.

True, ethereum now a day  is just an ICO platform.  They have huge demands because of this start-ups ICOs,  I do think that Bitcoin will still on top and ethereum losing their track after Bitcoin since Bitcoin can have a smart contract on its blockchain the same way as ethereum  making Bitcoin holders to use that contract and no need to move on the ethereum platform.  Aside from that, there are emerging new technology that will render ethereum obsolete or let us say a secondary choice.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You Think an $8000 Bitcoin Price Is Cool? Wait Until We Hit $12000 in January on: November 22, 2017, 10:58:08 PM
The price $8000 is already good this month but I think it will be more before the end of year. I read a news about the statements of Mr. Mike Novogratz a billionaire trader that BTC will hit $10,000 before end this year. This is very possible because it increased so rapidly in few months. Maybe next week it will hit $9,000 and will be on five figure already in December. So Maybe in January it will hit $12,000. We really don't know how far bitcoin will go up.

$12,000 in January seems a bit steep to achieve, there is only a month left and Bitcoin is struggling to hold it grounds on the $8000 mark. Though I am looking forward to see Bitcoin at that price, i do not think that it will reach $12000 soon.  If you say it will on 2018 then I would say it is very possible since there is a 12 months period for the price to go up.
889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto replace fiat money? on: November 22, 2017, 10:45:28 PM
BTC will not replace the legal tender, after all, legal tender has government credit. BTC does not have, and is still decentralized, so many governments have refused to use BTC, an encrypted digital currency. Hard to track, it is difficult to control money laundering is a drug crime.

Funny how you can say that bitcoin is hard to track when you can see transactions  on the blockchain clearly.  Aside from that, bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrency in the world, if government decided to make their own cryptocurrency and use it as their fiat money, then your logic is flawed, I do not think that it will be adopted soon but the possibility is high that government will issue their own cryptocurrency and thus, if that happen, we can say that crypto can replace fiat money.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 21, 2017, 10:15:08 PM
No I am not surprised about Bitcoin price, I can see that Bitcoin has really a great potential and that it has a great attraction to the speculative investors and trader since they can see a good profit from the fluctuation of bitcoin price. With this thing, demand of Bitcoin piles up and so the price increase.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 20, 2017, 10:30:12 PM
Nope, I am not surprised because it was expected.  There had been a discussion and speculationg that Bitcoin might probably end up at $10k  at the end of the year, so this is probably still low for the target price of $10k at the start of 2018.  We can still see a huge spike of price in the coming months.  Just wait and see.
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about others altcoin than Bitcoin on: November 15, 2017, 08:43:35 PM
I believe altcoin is one good entry point to cryptocurrency.  We can buy them cheap and have the same experience that bitcoin gave us in terms of technical aspect such as sending and receiving transaction.  Trading and getting profit from it and it is also an alternative way of entering Bitcoin community by simply converting them to bitcoin.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: November 15, 2017, 08:21:14 PM
they believe bitcoin is amazing and it will rise more and will pump to the moon olding bitcoin is like having a dollar and someday you will wake with a thousand of it !

Many of the people believe the Bitcoin.Even me,I had inverse in Bitcoin from long.Even I had earned in Bitcoin a lot .Since the price is varying, you can wait and hold for long time interval. If the price reach maximum means, sell the holding and get huge profits.

Profit is the main reason why people are holding Bitcoins.  Many believe that Bitcoin is a great store of value because of it price increase performance.  I do not see any other reason why people are holding Bitcoins instead of what I have stated.  Aside from that, lots of articles had been stating that Bitcoin will rich more than $20k in the near future which I think is very possible.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin has more than 21m supply on: November 14, 2017, 10:55:55 PM
With every fork bitcoin supply is increasing so does the bitcoin bubble i mean everyone by now must be know that bitcoin is a bubble. why? every fork is zero to value! bubble!
but in my opinion bitcoin will be bitcoin forks dont matter they just increasing the coins!

every forkable coin will fail in the future.

just my 2 cents

Are you serious about this?  I think you should know first that aside from Bitcoin there is a thing called altcoin and altcoin is far different than Bitcoin.  They have different blockchain and different network.  Aside from that, they have different ticker and set of community too.  Bitcoin as we know it have a fixed amount of total coins unless the dev decided to modify its code and add more coins to it.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 14, 2017, 10:40:27 PM
Most of the people who invest in the crypto market are those with stable jobs. Some are students or those without jobs. They just want to earn passive income they will use their money to earn. Invest in coin to make a profit for yourself. There are very few people who live on a daily crypto unless they are miners.

Without stable jobs, before the investment, you wouldn't be able to make those investments. That's right then. People with health and nice positions are also luck in coin asset investments.

Miners gonna mine, they do this as a professional job for sure.

Exactly.

Step 1: Get a real job

Step 2: Convert paycheck into bitcoin (ie Bitwage.com) or plop a chunk of savings into buying Bitcoin (ie localbitcoins.com)

Having a real job and get paid in Bitcoin is another way.  People around this forum gets job and paid with cryptocurrency and most of them gets a better financial status.  By doing job and getting paid with bitcoins, we are able to enter the cryptocurrency economy without spending a huge amount.  Then we can use this to trade and get profit from trading.  I do this kind of stuff everyday.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: November 14, 2017, 10:25:55 PM
Honestly I have none yet.  I jump in the first time I heard about Bitcoin and then study the ecosystem.  I do not have much of money so I focus myself on the way how I can earn it without spending money and I am thankful that I have found this forum which is rich in resources where I can find information, tasks and goods.  I have been around this forum for more than a  year now and I can say Bitcoin helped me a lot.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: Am I late ? on: November 14, 2017, 05:44:15 PM
I believe OP is just in a perfect timing Buying Bitcoin .  Bitcoin recently have a dip and if OP managed to buy on that Dip then I can say he is about to see a profit soon.  Anyway, regardless of timing, I still believe that bitcoin market is still young, lots of area to be covered and lots of room to grow.  I believe that Bitcoin will continue to break its ATH even though it keeps on fluctuating wildly.  So if OP is asking if profit can be seen on his timing then I can say there is really a huge profit awaiting for OP if he just practice patience.
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The damage is spread to all Crypto Currencies on: November 14, 2017, 05:01:44 PM
At first there was one man, then he had children and the next thing was that they start killing each other.

It's the human nature to seek alternatives and to try to impose their ideas.
Nothing special about bitcoin and altcoins
AC/DC? Not the band!!!
Left/right side of the road?
and so on...

If cryptos fail because of the infighting means they were weak from the start and it's better for them do die now rather that later and destroy the world economy.
But it won't happen that easy. Lame coins will die but strong ones have proven this weekend they are here to stay against all odds.

The fittest will survive, it is the universal law.  It is good to have infights and let the best one survive.  It is to the benefit of the masses, rather than having a monopolized currency just like what the government are doing.  But of course in every war there is always a collateral damage, so let just be smart and avoid to be one of those damages.  We will see one day that crypto will evolve into a better one from this debates and argument.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price are you going to start buying bitcoin again? on: November 13, 2017, 07:29:08 PM
The current dip made me start to buy bitcoin again, and since some of my altcoin holdings are on green, i tend to convert them to Bitcoin and wait for another Bitcoin price rally.  I believe this recent dip had given investors an opportunity to buy Bitcoin at cheaper price than lat's week price where bitcoin almost hit $8000.  Definitely this is one of the better time to enter bitcoin market, well if it go deeper then that is a good sign to buy more.
900  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 13, 2017, 06:56:07 PM
People who says bitcoin is a form of gambling are certainly people who do not know the definition of gambling itself. There are many types of investments out there that are almost similar to bitcoins and certainly no one says these types of investments are gambling.

True, it is clearly stated that Bitcoin is a peer to peer currency developed under cryptography where in order to have it they need to mine it by solving blocks.  Those who think that Bitcoin is gambling certainly never do their homework of researching it.  Or misunderstood the high volatility as gamble since price changes from time to time and the huge spike and dip  might also made them think that jumping to Bitcoin train is like a gamble.  But I myself think it is not since the risk can be managed and even nullified if they know what they are doing.
