881  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorite Bitcoin Casino? on: December 03, 2015, 10:47:40 AM
Betcoin.ag of course Smiley. Good deposit bonuses, plenty of games, plus sports betting in one place.
882  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UK Joins Air Strikes on Syria on: December 03, 2015, 10:16:57 AM
The strikes on their own (without ground forces) not going to resolve anything but probably will make things worse. In addition as a side effect bombing and weakening the IS going to strengthen their competitors like al-Nusra and other jihadist groups, so in a few years from now we are going to have the same situation again (still). Otherwise bombing the shit out of those bastards is a pretty good idea.
883  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is religious people an added risk to business? on: December 03, 2015, 10:05:38 AM
When it comes to business and scam and default prevention, religious people have some "moral leverages" as an example:
- A Muslim may feel it to be alright to scam a non-believer, as that's what his religion states.
- A Christian have an imaginary friend that forgives anything (and by anything it means really anything, from scam to kill the creditors).
IDK much about other religions, but they may have also some "moral relief" systems.

So, should we add to account a "too religious" at risk assessment?

That Christian who has "an imaginary friend that forgives anything (and by anything it means really anything, from scam to kill the creditors)" that's not a Christian, but a scammer or psychopath without any moral.
I think being a honest business partner does nothing with religion. That's about the human qualities of that given person and about the accepted common business practices in their homeland.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Smartchain based cryptos worthy of investment? on: December 01, 2015, 09:42:21 PM
Ripple is a corporate coin, with a doable business plan so it has a good chance for survival.

Stellar... I haven't seen too much activity around stellar recently. Probably it will die out slowly.

Bitshares could be a success, unfortunately almost nobody aware of it because of the lack of proper marketing.

Ethereum will be a great stuff if it will be completed within a reasonable timeframe Smiley.

885  Economy / Gambling / Re: Has anyone here used FishBitFish? on: December 01, 2015, 09:20:19 PM
It looks pretty much deserted by now, and currently it's easy to manipulate even with something like 0.1 BTC.
886  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Comparing Military Capabilities of US/Russia/China on: November 30, 2015, 05:09:04 PM

Please stop googling your wisdom on wikipedia please.
Explain to me how a icbm works and how it should be able to hit a moving target at water in wartimes.
Why do you think they developed asbm's for this job?
Please explain it to someone like me that has no clue about modern (naval) warfare.
You see, before the us lets one of it carrier downed by a nuclear strike they already would have started a first strike for sure.

You are right, ICBM are against big stationary targets and not against manouvering relative small (compared to a city) ships, so using those things against carriers would be wasting valuable resources, however the Chinese DF-21D and DF-26 anti ship ballistic missiles were designed for tracking and knocking out carriers. The only defense against those missiles would be taking out the supporting satellite systems.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: November 30, 2015, 04:45:14 PM
Well, if you want to gamble for living and live for gambling then you might wanna take a look at daytrading and arbitraging Smiley. That's a socially accepted form of being a hardcore gambler.
888  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any more Skill-based services like this? on: November 30, 2015, 04:18:08 PM
I am really into gambling because it's fun to test your luck, but I have been playing that Battlecoin game, which is a game where you bet money and other players bet too and make a pot, then you play a match of Bomberman and winner takes it all. Are there are any other games like this that aren't 100% luck? Also what do you think of 100% luck games (pure gamble) vs skill based games? I just like some variety sometimes from dicing and casino type games.

There are a few minesweeper and battleship like games, but apart from those few sites there are not many skill based games around. Maybe poker can be an option, if you consider it as a skill based game.

Regarding your question about pure gamble vs skill based games I'd say I'd like to see more skill based games. Most 100% luck based games (dice, slots, etc.) are quite boring.
889  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS Currency System on: November 30, 2015, 12:49:44 PM
Im neither a fan nor in any way affiliated with ISIS or support them in anyway.

I have heard ISIS is using their own currency based on gold, so I would like to know from experts what they have to say about it.

Is their currency system better than "ours"??
Is ISIS, they have their own state with passports, is this a capitalistic country or how do they see their state and what importance does money have in their state??

I assume or they even said is as the bad so Im sure they dont hesitate by taking our money but again the question, how important is money to them, withhin their "own" people??

Their gold will still have value when/if their bosses will be all 6 feet deep and their caliphate crushed, our money... well it will still have value as toilet paper, or fire starter if a few of our bank bosses screw up something again, like in 2007 Smiley.

890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 30, 2015, 12:33:19 PM
Is their any safe methods to gamble? Means without losing much of our money can gamble?

Any tips or suggestions?

Smiley. THe only safe way to gamble if you are playing in matchsticks or in pieces of cookies with your friends... or if you stay away from gambling at all.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Centralized NXT IS BEING DEAD on: November 30, 2015, 10:41:51 AM
So, NXT is dead... again. Can someone tell please me how many times it died in the last two years Smiley? It's a vigorous dead. Isn't it?
892  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling on: November 30, 2015, 10:35:50 AM
Dice is one of the most boring stuff around. Go and play something more interesting. Naturally you are most likely going to loose eventually, but at least make it entertaining Wink.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 30, 2015, 10:28:54 AM
Gambling isn't wrong at all if it's for fun and entertaintment. Problems used to start when some people getting blindfolded by greed and the promise of "free money".
894  Economy / Speculation / Re: what is The reason behind new bubble in bitcoin price? on: November 30, 2015, 10:22:48 AM
I was reading somewhere that russia is going to ban cryptocurrency and people are predicting latest paris attack involves bitcoin transactions. All this thing should have lower the price but we are seeing steady rising curve on price.

What can be the reason of this?

Well if something allegedly going to be banned sometimes in the future that used to have little effect on the current actual price. In addition if they ban it then what? Russians are quite clever people and they have a long history of doing business with banned goods and services, so I guess they not going to be very desperate because of this new ban in a long row Smiley.
BTC involvement in the Paris attack was clearly a bullshit. I guess someone in the EP was shorting BTC Smiley. BTW if BTC was involved that's not a big issue, probably much more Euros in cash was also involved, but I don't hear any moaning about banning Euros or cash payments.

As most BTC users are used to be intelligent, informed and sceptic about govt BS, I'm not surprised because of the little effect of these two news.
895  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Comparing Military Capabilities of US/Russia/China on: November 30, 2015, 09:39:29 AM
If I'm not mistaken 1 or 2 more should be finished soon right? Indigenous, not just refitted. Don't know what their role will be though.

I think the PLAN is currently constructing an aircraft carrier, and it might be entering the service by 2018 or 2019. That said, aircraft carriers are obsolete now. A single ballistic missile (costing $10 million or $20 million) can destroy an entire aircraft carrier, which can cost as much as $5 billion to build. That is the reason why the Russians are not building any of them.

the missile would never hit the carrier.

a carrier is always on tour in a battlegroup which consist of missiles cruisers,  warships, destroyers, frigates and submarines and their main goal is to defend the carrier.

such a battlegroup has water and air superiority in a range of around 500+ km.

the only thing i know of which could possibly down a carrier in a battlegroup are the latest state of the art aip submarines like the german U212 or U-216

@russian carrier

they dont only cost billions to build but also hundreds of millions per year to maintain.
it is just too expensive for russia.

Carrier groups are a WW2 concept and against a technologically advanced enemy it's pretty much obsolete today, especially because of all major powers what can challange the US have developed a series of weapons designed specifically for dealing with carriers, so these big beauties are pretty much in the same situation today as the battleships were in WW2.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you buy on bitcoin black Friday? on: November 29, 2015, 06:37:17 PM
Some LTC and NXT on Cryptsy Smiley. Is that counts?
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k???? on: November 29, 2015, 06:34:47 PM
10k next year is quite unlikely. At first we have to break through 1K, and keep staying above that Smiley. Perhaps around 2020 we can have a solid support around 10K if nothing really bad thing happens.
898  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian war crimes in Syria on: November 29, 2015, 06:21:39 PM
Do we need to recall you how Turkish kicked the ass or russian in Crimea Huh LoL ....
Anyway now all russian can go to Crimea and avoid Turkey ...

Actually the english-french coalition kicked some russian ass over there. The turks had some success in the Danube campaign but that was mostly about holding the line and keeping the russians away from Bulgaria. In the Caucasus theatre turks had very little success and suffered heavy losses for achieving basically nothing.
899  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have .00000001 bitcoin. Will I be a millionaire by 2046? on: November 29, 2015, 06:05:52 PM
Not sure about the millions but by 2046 you can probably get a quarter pounder with cheese and bag of french fries for that Smiley.
900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines e-peso seems to be a kind of scam version of Bitcoin on: November 28, 2015, 08:59:55 PM
Have you ever seen anything from the Philippines what wasn't a scam (or a failure)?
