I don't know of of any of those that didn't end badly.
I do:

that pic is useless, it only shows adoption in the population, not how much the companies that created those things raised in value.

do you know that some people, actually wants to pay taxes because they supports the system?
Wouldn't it be great to pick which programs you support, and not have to get the whole package, the welfare AND the bombs?
why don't you want welfare?
Are you implying I'm OK with the bombs? Or are you the one who pays into the system willingly, because you like blowing up brown people on the other side of the planet?

Read it again: Wouldn't it be great to pick which programs you support? To be able to pay to support people who need help, without having to ALSO pay for blowing up brown people on the other side of the planet?
but its fun to blow people up! (yes, im trolling hard now!)

yes it would be nice if we had a choice, thats why we have elections every 4 years(here in denmark). more direct democracy would be nice.

What the eff is study?  I've never studied a day in my life, and yet I know plenty--in fact, I know most of what I know from simple observation and the Internet.

Are you familiar with the term autodidact?  It's always a good idea to become one.

In your defense, my best friend says he cannot properly learn any subject without a teacher feeding him his lines.  So I suppose there's that.
i have learned alot of stuff by my self too, BUT some stuff just needs to be explained.

and whole the thoroughness of math, is hard to learn by yourself(autodidact or not).

math is not hard to understand, but hard to do correct.

I think socialists should probably stay away from bitcoin if that is the case, namely due to how difficult it is to tax. Especially if people begin trading bitcoin over the tor network.

By investing in or even mining bitcoins, socialists would be contributing to the decline of socialism. You'd basically see a return to the early days of the US where they relied upon the taxes of sales of certain goods. Services would be unable to be taxed effectively, and income for large corporate entities would be hard to tax (which would be a good thing IMO as corporations as it is don't really pay any taxes - they just push the expense on to the customer.)
do you know that some people, actually wants to pay taxes because they supports the system?

in a capitalistic/liberal/anarchistic/whatever society i would not be able to study math, because i would not have the money to do so.
https://www.khanacademy.org/
their lectures are only on first year university level... but some of it is useful.
But clearly you can study mathematics, all the way up to first year University level, for free. So to say that you would be unable to study at all is a bit disingenuous, is it not?
its still not the same as blackboards, and having a whole bunch of very clever people around to ask.

internet education is just not as good as real education(yet hopefully), and you are still not getting paid for studying, which means you are 'forced to' study after a full work day.

My personal opinion is that socialism is bad because it messes up people's incentives and leads to less wealth overall.
not true. socialism takes of all the stuff you don't want to do(but other people might want), and there by giving you the opportunity to do what you like.
in a capitalistic/liberal/anarchistic/whatever society i would not be able to study math, because i would not have the money to do so.
in little socialistic Denmark, i am studying math, and im even paid to do so by the government.

was does the capitalistic society get: lazy depressed people.
and denmark gets: enthusiastic and highly educated people.

now tell me which society gets "less wealth overall"?

if bitcoin is a snowball, in the summer it will fall apart.

centos fanboi much?

I just want a system that works with multiple gpu cards.  CEntOS supports multi-headed displays "out of the box" and cares little which head I'm using to communicate.  And since it works, yes, I'm a BIG fan.  Each of my cards is making like $8 per day right now.
ubuntu work just as good...

it was your great speech about how centos is a enterprise OS, and how reliable it are.
891  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Building a rock solid CEntOS mining rig on: April 08, 2013, 01:54:29 PM
Why would you want to build a CEntOS based miner?

CEntOS is the "Community ENTerprise Operating System".  What happened about 15 years ago is that many many people using Linux were using RedHat based distributions like Fedora (free desktop version) and the "commercial" version called RedHat Linux.  Then, all of a sudden, RedHat decided they wanted to charge $1000 plus per machine for the commercial version and it made people mad.  So they went off and created a mirror of the RedHat Linux system and they call it CEntOS.

The beauty of this OS over other choices is that it is designed to operate in a production environment.  You can even buy commercial software to run on these servers from suppliers like Oracle and Adobe.  Because of the planned cycles the software is stable, unlike most other flavors of linux who are trying to constantly do the "latest" thing people who run enterprise software on their systems are much more interested in reliability.  And so these distributions (Centos, Fedora, Redhat, Scientific Linux) are the best choice for multiple-gpu cards and multiple-gpu systems.

Here's the instruction sheet.  Let me know what can be improved.  Current stable working version combination is SDK 12.7 and Catalyst Driver 12.3.
centos fanboi much?

As you can see, it requires the majority of peers, not miners.

So, is this where the other cryptocurrencies all originated? From people switching the rules a bit and then agreeing, based on peer exchange?
YUP.

Tell me if this is correct.
Okay.

Exchanges allow you to purchase coins.
True, and sell them.

Quote
The coins that you have purchased from the exchange are located in an address that was created for you by the exchange using the Bitcoin Address Utility or Pywallet.
WTF, you tarded?  Bitcoin Address Utility or pywallet

Quote
Then the exchange allows you to send those coins that are in your exchange account (which is really the wallet and address that was created for you by the exchange) to your own personal wallet address.
True.

My question is, by what method do the exchanges send the Bitcoins from your exchange account (the wallet they created for you) to your own personal wallet address?
with normal bitcoin transactions.

what is this kind of question, maybe you should RTFM and STFW, BEFORE asking stupid questions.

"There's no place for the state in the bedrooms of the nation".
-Pierre Elliott Trudeau

I hate how those anti-gay zealot are always trying to push the government into everything. Don't you have any notion of freedom? Are you so insecure that you need the government to manage how people fuck together?

I really don't understand Americans. They want guns to protect themselves against the government, but they need the state to tell them how to use their dick.  Roll Eyes
its actually the gays pushing their agenda on non-gays.

There is a proverb that say that the worse enemy of a woman is another woman. I think it's the same for gay people.
Burn on OP, apply cold water!

No, they were not. They thought they were behaving in there own self interest, when Hitler came to power germany was poor, becuase they had lost WW1, and the Americans pulled out all their investments in Germany because of the wallstreet crack in '29.
Hitler blamed "the evil and rich" jews, and gave them Highways. and then brainwashed/group pressured the German people into nazism.
I can understand that they were confused.
Hitler was absolutely right about jews influence. He was so right that in few years Germany regained economic strength to fight war for 6 years. German people were not stupid. Hitler's politics was example in many countries abroad, including Britain.
the reason the jews had the banking industrial, was because they was not allowed to own land in a christian country, and their own contry isreal had been taking from them along time ago. thereby forcing them to do the banking for the christians.

so hitler was actually attacking the jews, because they had been semi-forced into the banking industry for a few centuries.

know your history dude, you are fucked up

I'm also a racist. So what? I have no religious beliefs. I'm atheist. Karma does not exist. I know numerous examples of good people having shitty life until they die and bad people living good and prosperous life because they are bad. It all comes down to how smart or lucky you are.

And racism is nothing bad at all. It is caring for your own people for better future.
im not at all taking about karma. im talking about mutual benefits through voluntary social transactions(tit-for-tat).
