901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: April 18, 2020, 09:09:44 AM
Possibly yes, this will be from the angle of gamblers, the world have been put on hold, as the world is facing a pandemic which has made many countries to forcefully lockdown their countries to avoid the spread of covid-19. Gamblers have taking to the world of cryptocurrency to gamble through online casinos because the traditional means of gambling has been put on hurt by the governments across the world through restrictions on their citizens.

The gambling world has recorded the highest revenue generation for the few months we have spend so far on the lockdown. Many are able to keep themselves busy through the gambling online. Personally, I have been doing things through online most especially the gambling which keeps me more active whenever I get through it a day. Cryptocurrency is one thing that has happened to me that u feel positively.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 17, 2020, 11:42:32 AM
It's all right, I don't think it's worth worrying about right now.

You're right mate, this has.nothing to be worry about because things are changing for the betterment of those who hold up their bitcoin for a long-term. For those who bought at the very dewo of $3800 and $6420 will be more lucky for a long-term holding as the cryptocurrency revive itself. Particularly, am holding right away and not ready to sell off my portfolios. Am expecting more move from Bitcoin during the pre-halving and higher during the post-halving so, for those who are yet to buy, kindly secure your chance now because we're going to boom in my opinion.
903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Americans - will you spend your $1200 on BTC? on: April 17, 2020, 09:51:37 AM
While not? There's a possibility of a good return on a long-term basis instead of spending or invest into the later(stimulus check donations). This is really an opportunity for the Americans to key into this period of global pandemic which will lead from here to recession. Believe me, the wise ones will definitely  house Brian A. Idea of investing $1200 into Bitcoin. As a matter of facts, many will choose to squandering why others will choose to invest wisely.

Hope to see an opportunity of this nature during this downtrend of Bitcoin price to accumulate more stash for the future. Personally, I have always choose Bitcoin ahead of all other investment packages.

Though, not an American.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Libra still pose a threat to Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2020, 09:27:30 PM
Well well well, basically I can't see a threat from Libra because Bitcoin and Libra are very different from each other when it come to threatening. Bitcoin has been in existence and Libra just came into the board of cryptocurrency,  so,  comparing the two doesn't make any sense as decentralized and centralized are different protocols. Bitcoin is an investment mode by investors and stablecoins are likely to be use as currency and not an investment. People, probably investors won't have much time with Libra.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust Wallet Token discussion. on: April 14, 2020, 02:28:29 PM
Am still trying to figure out what is likely to happen to Trust Wallet Token (TWT) but think about this; a wallet that outright support Binance as exchange which also allow a swap of.many other coins and tokens, they equally also, supported dapps, not only the dapps but also allow users to stakes cryptocurrency; this project isn't a joke of any sort. Trust Wallet will be a blow imo, maybe if Binance actually get hold on them, things might take some negative pattern.

Remember this: any token sorted by notable cryptocurrency enthusiasts is such that have a huge future; this is my personal experience during MB8coin. For we not to be next behind, guys, its time we kindly grab our  poopcon to sit back and watch.

907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 14, 2020, 12:41:52 PM

<snip>

~~~
In my country, people were caught cockfighting even when there is a ban and lockdown. They end up getting arrested for violating, and their chickens end up getting cooked for the frontliners. Probably because they want to but can't do it due to the virus. They are willing to risk their safety and health just to do what they want.
Highest form of irresponsible on the part of these sect of gamblers. Their life worth more than the cents they're going to get from this. Nobody with his or her right sense would think of going out when the government made announcement about this monster called Coronavirus as a wild fire in spreading among humans.
This is a clear case of gambling addiction and they should be quarantine for seven days and after that seek medical advise for them to cushion their level of addiction. Probably, after testing negative they should be taking to the correctional centers across the country. This will make them responsible citizens again.  Grin
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 14, 2020, 12:04:24 PM
<snip>
There might be physiological affects because everyone is forced to sit at home as no one has experienced that in their life time but if someone gets addicted to gambling because they are forced to sit at home, then they will be addicted even during normal circumstance. If something takes hold of your life because of addiction then you need medical attention.
I doubt your submission, we'll know that, addiction come through by doing a particular thing repeatedly IMO, if this is true, then, there is a possibility of many individuals getting addicted to gambling, most especially those who have been gambling and doing other jobs alongside their hustle. Lockdown here is not friendly mate, the only thing most of my friends are doing right now is engaging themselves on online gambling platforms. This has actually affected some of them because they spend all their time gambling online.
Sad to hear this: their parents called me few days ago to help talk to them on limiting their times spent on online gambling platforms. These are friends who before the lockdown go about their normal hustle but forced to stay at home has changed their ways of doing things (gambling) and this is gradually going to addiction if not check by parent.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 13, 2020, 04:13:12 PM
An addict is an addict no matter what happened to them in a close door or outdoor. Traditional platforms have been closed doesn't mean that online casinos gambling platforms are closed likewise, so, the gambling addiction.continue while at home on a lockdown. Though am not an addict but still gamble while staying at home. Some of my friends who were involved in traditional gambling have now drifted to the online casinos.
What I believed in this recent lockdown stay at home is: this process will increase more addiction in those who were addicted before the lockdown and this will have negative impacts on gamblers after the lift of this lockdown.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: April 13, 2020, 02:29:14 PM
There are people carrying the virus that are unaffected by it. That's the troubling thing. So I will just gamble online for a while Smiley
You're right, many have been seen as carrier of the virus but themselves unaware about it, till fourteenth day of quarantine. With this, going back to casino gambling platforms immediately the announcement of lockdown can result to another spread of the covid-19, so, it won't be safe for anyone going out after the outbreak. We must be more serious about life than what we can get from gambling platforms at our own risk and that of our families.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 13, 2020, 12:01:45 PM
Though this maybe the right time to actually put efforts in promoting affiliate links because many have been idle since the lockdown on covid-19. Potentially, I can see a positive profits from affiliation as many individuals have turned to the internet to keep theirselves and siblings busy, though most this busy mode might not be for gambling but for others things like investment, trading, learning among others and with the right affiliation, one can earn from sharing at this time.
Most importantly, online casinos gambling is expected to see a major boost of revenue due to this lockdown, I made some post of recent that, gambling casino platforms will be hit more positively than any other platform during this pandemic. Although, am not a fan of affiliation but would love to give a good time to share some affiliate links to earn.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: April 12, 2020, 03:41:19 PM
It's better to keep holding, and maybe you can use the current conditions to buy, but if you think about selling, then I don't think right now is the right time.
You're right for your observation, holding up your stash in the face of bearishly cryptocurrency market is a positive type for everyone who believed on the said technology (Bitcoin).  But wit an exception of this categories of people in the world: those who actually need these funds to attend to more important needs or pressing needs of their homes. There was a case of someone who needed an urgent need during the recent lockdown and decided to sell out, this is understandable. As for me, am holding up the needed available stash for my future use.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: April 12, 2020, 01:55:12 PM
Never stop holding your bitcoin until the price of bitcoin reaches to $20,000 again.
Yes, it is good to hold your Bitcoin stash but must be mindful of the volume you hold because you might just be running down the hill without your consent. Am on the opinion that, if you are holding higher volume of Bitcoin and the market starts dwindling down the hill, you should ensure to manage your portfolios by conversion when possible. Though, for small amount of the Bitcoin holding is beat option for a profitable means towards the end.
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will do better in this Economic Crisis ??? BITCOIN or GOLD ??? on: April 12, 2020, 01:12:48 PM
Sheuu, to what I remember about the Gold and Bitcoin; they are all pegs to fiats, in this case I would rather choose Bitcoin during economic crisis over gold. Not because am a Bitcoiner but because I know how powerful a technology can help nations during crisis. The recent pronunciation by the WHO as Coronavirus be seen as a pandemic has been seen as either  gold or Bitcoin could suit the situation at hand. In my own opinion, am comfortable with the technology(Bitcoin) than to see myself with gold.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting site offering bets on the Covid-19 pandemic. Worst site now. on: April 11, 2020, 04:52:51 PM
^^
Having covid-19 for gambling is not fun.
The bookmaker might have been having their lines for when those who want to place wagers on for how many days they think it would take to have a solution such as a vaccine made. But that would be about it as to having so called fun with this situation were all in. If you could call it that. While people and their loved ones are suffering trying to bring in a couple of coins. Undecided
With due respect Sir, how about the said TV stations and Radios stations who announce and predict how many individuals are likely to go down six feet bellow? What about the WHO that always predict deaths on countries and  continents?. We shouldn't be personal in this rather presenting facts about the Covid-19. Deaths are everywhere which is true and these are love ones and families, but, for TV stations predicting more deaths is a reality base on the high spread of this covid-19. I see no reason why gambling platforms shouldn't allow their gamblers to equally predict the deaths and survivals of this covid-19 IMO.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting site offering bets on the Covid-19 pandemic. Worst site now. on: April 11, 2020, 04:25:15 PM
Should we say having fun is against the ethics of gambling? Coronavirus has been used by comedians around the world likewise our musicians, even some film industries have began their stories about the said pandemic, this is just a way to Cushing the negative effects of this ravaging deadly virus. Although, this is personal opinion and shouldn't be use for crucification of my view. They're just getting their gamblers inline to having fun with the covid-19.
Well, I understand your take; joking with the coronavirus should be seen as normal thing and not that; they're saying it doesn't exist among us or is a fiction. This is just a means of relaxation for these gamblers to have fun with the covid-19.
😉Did joining gambling make you addicted to drugs and drink?!!
No!
Though, these response are my personal response and not general. As a one who was brought up inline with the principles of God, has no reason to involve myself with the above characters even though I belong to the class of gamblers. As a gambler I am; I would never think of drugs while gambling even at a huge loose because is unethical to my belief, also, taking alcohol is totally against my principles of life and even thieft. As an individual who adhere to the principles of God, who also know the effect of these drugs and alcohols won't get involve in them.
My gambling life is simple and not focus on what I can get out of gambling but finding entertainment and fun therein. This is my sole aims while I gamble, with this, associating with drugs and alcohol won't be realisable even on the long run.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: April 11, 2020, 03:34:16 PM
Am not sure by doing doping his will help to stop gambling because the gamblers are likely to be trigger by what they have lost to the gambling platform. I for one would be more aggressive to gamble in order to get back the needed profits that will balance the lost I had. Though this is just my life, recently I saw what made me to grew stronger in gambling, this was as a result to get the loses back but toll now yielded non.
Gambling records if keep won't give any gambler a good and decent response towards their gambling life. Reasons be that; they will intensify more efforts to get back their losses in respective of their classes. The only exception here are those who can really control their urge in gambling and not those partial or addict gamblers.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 10, 2020, 10:07:02 PM
Absolutely, not only the casinos workers deserve this type if assistance as the lockdown is generally affecting the entire world and not selecting some career than others. We all known what the take a home of the gambling house is and they can afford the assistance of helping  their workers. Although, many of these gambling platforms or companies are only after their own gains than to help their workers, if they grant or give their staff a helping hand, this will be the best for anyone in the community to read about. Hope they equally remember we the gamblers who ensure they never run out of their businesses  Tongue
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 10, 2020, 05:12:43 PM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.
Everything is about the money you bet.
If you don't bet a lot of money and in a daily basis then it is very easy to stop gambling.
People who gamble a lot of money are the one that cannot quit it and are addicted to it.
Though you're right but not all gambler at the lower layer have control over their gambling life, we have seen many cases around the forum were newbies to gambling are found uncontrollable when it come to gambling. My believe is, each gambler has their own layer of operation and those who bet or gamble with huge funds can be found to control their urge than those with smaller gamble funds. Am just a case studies here as I belong to the lower class before and then realizes my mistakes while gamble.
