901  Other / Meta / Re: I think it's possible to keep going without banning mixers on: December 17, 2023, 08:28:35 AM
It's not if the forum will survive without or keep going without mixers, it is if some of the forum members will continue to be active because the mixer campaigns are not here anymore, I think they will still become active while waiting for the new campaign to open up, the managers will likely pick posters who are actively posting not just because they want to apply for a new campaign.
Those who are actively posting 5 or more posts while in a mixing campaigns will likely drop their numbers but they will continue to post, they know the forum is very attractive to projects, new campaigns will open up and we never know after five months after talks about mixing, we are still doing good.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does match fixing concern you often? on: December 16, 2023, 11:30:35 PM

What have your experiences about this been? Is match fixing considered a common occurrence in leagues you place bets at?

I don't think it's happening in the higher leagues and big names are involved there's more money to be made and will be made for big names, do you think Canelo, Tank, and Crawford will involve themselves in game fixing knowing that the stake and the prestige that comes with every fight, game fixing can happen in small fights and minor leagues but when titles are involved or you are in a run to become big names in boxing every fighter do not want to involve in a controversy that may tarnish their reputation on their career.
Big names can fix the fight by cherry-picking their opponents but I don't think they will fix it by paying their opponents or organizations manipulating big names in boxing, all the news about game fixing in big circuits are just speculation.
903  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: December 16, 2023, 03:43:28 PM
I can vouch for Stake it has a good reputation and withdrawal is fast and instant some of the criteria you're looking for in a casino are all here, it's not only not a scam that you should be looking for but a casino that will protect your funds in case there is a hack in the platform or in case some players win a big amount of money.
Stake.com guarantees to continue to serve you even if there is any untoward incident, they are the industry leaders and they have proven their leadership and brand by continuously marketing their brand on many platforms like here in Bitcointalk.

When it comes to picking the right casino to play the brand is always important if a platform has been actively promoting and preserving its brand it can only mean that the platform is well established.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: December 16, 2023, 03:12:20 PM
I didn't watch the full fight but I watched the replay of the fight, in my opinion Jake Paul was very good in this fight, he constantly put pressure on Andre August and managed to do well in the attack, his punches seemed to me to be very effective from the beginning of the fight which in my opinion caused damage to Andre August every time he was hit and until Jake Paul threw the punch, it was funny how Jake Paul celebrated when he landed that punch on Andre August and then Andre August fell, that showed how Jake Paul is more evolved in boxi, I believe that many people who had doubts regarding his victories and his ability to go far in boxi, at this point they should have stopped having those doubts

I didn't expect anything unexpected in this fight I did not even bother to watch and just waited for the news and watched for the highlights, there's no resistance on Andre, it is pretty obvious that Andre is not the kind of fighter who deserves to be in the ring against a power puncher like Jake Paul.

I don't want to praise a fight or a fighter where there is a mismatch, we are all aware that Jake Paul is going to knock out his opponent if there is another fight like this for Jake Paul maybe I just ignore the thread because it a useless topic, he should go for someone who is his match people are paying to watch, writers are taking effort to write and the network is spending money to telecast, Jake owes the community to show something different in his next fight.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prove me wrong: Gambling is both more relaxing and entertaining than trading! on: December 16, 2023, 02:39:35 PM
You can lose money on both but when it comes to the level of excitement, trading is nowhere near gambling, one of the reasons why people gamble is because they want to be entertained, but you cannot find someone who trades for fun, they only want to make money when trading so if you're going to create a poll I doubt if trading will win, trading is for serious people who wants to make money in the market, it takes a lot of effort and time and it's not fun doing this compared to gambling, in gambling you can just bet and forget and let luck play its.
You cannot do that in trading because in trading there are a lot of factors involved you're just throwing your money without any chance of profit if you just pick any trading pair.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 16, 2023, 12:44:47 PM
The terms and conditions of casinos and other companies is usually very lengthy and somehow boring for some people. Hence , many people rarely find time to read them. They may actually contain some of the complaints that people raise about some casinos such requiring KYC if there is need or suspicion of money laundering activities.

What is your take on this?

It may be boring but this will save you a lot of trouble if you decide to play and take the casino seriously, whether it's boring or it will take you the time you have to read it and not only read it but also understand it because without reading and understand these terms of services, you have no guide on how you proceed on the casino that you're going to play, like checking if your location is allowed to play in the casino, and also about KYC and when and how they ask KYC and what are the necessary documents so you can prepare beforehand if ever they need you to do KYC.

It's irresponsible if you just sign up deposit and play without reading and fully understanding the terms of service of the casino you're playing, you can not make an excuse for not being aware or forgetting to read their TOS, all casinos may have the same TOS but be sure to check some casino makes their TOS different from other casinos, so prevent having issues read, understand and get an update on the TOS of the casinos that you're interested to play.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I ask for refund if casino game has bugs? on: December 16, 2023, 11:46:27 AM
You will have to show proof that you lost because of bugs or they might accuse you of making up a story to regain your losses, this is not easy to do, you have to check the chat group or the community or ask members if they also faced a bug when playing if many players complaint then you can use that support your claim, but creating a report on your own and nothing to back you up, it will go to nothing, they will ignore that appeal.

So it is better to play at casinos that have no report of bugs because they have capable coders and maintenance support that will address issues as they come along
The worst thing is losing money on bugs that you cannot prove, it will just become a he say they say thing, and in the end, the casino will win the argument.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers trickily claims they wins the bet while they never did. on: December 15, 2023, 01:48:09 PM
Some gamblers want to inflate their ego with their claim to winnings and their wage, we have a lot of threads created by these gamblers many of them are newbies, and they show screenshots of their winnings, but the truth is what they won is not even half of the total money that they've lose, they are so proud of their losses but forget how huge their losses.

This is to prove in their ways that there is money to be made in gambling, honestly, I don't believe in this, they only show half-proof, and they hide their losses because their losses will prove that you can lose a lot of money from gambling.
Some gamblers cannot accept the fact that they will lose money on gambling, they still believe that there are methods to win money through gambling, and they will continue to do this until they run out of money.
909  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Flag reference for CryptoCraftsMan(UID = 3592888) on: December 15, 2023, 12:29:29 PM
I have a post on the scammer thread and also supported the flag, we should not let these newbie scammers have a place in their scam scheme here in Bitcointalk, we have to keep the forum clean for our community, and visitors of the forum, the thread may not be deleted but at least we have put a big warning to the scammers' topics by giving red trust and flagging his account.
Additionally, this will warn others not to promote their scam scheme in Bitcointalk or else they will suffer the same fate as what happened to CryptoCraftsMan
Not even a bank can give you 10% daily profit from your deposit, there's no method existing where you can earn 40% of your deposit, it can only be a Ponzi scheme or HYIP which is not tolerated here in Bitcointalk.
910  Other / Archival / Re: New strategy for casinos! on: December 15, 2023, 11:27:58 AM
So after mixers got banned, there will be a need to fill their empty space, soon we shall see new casinos coming in to play to compete with current services, so I'd like to suggest to the currently active casinos to start hiring the best quality posters with competitive payments to win in the race of the best, just like bitmixer and chipmonkey plus other mixers did in the past to stay relevant.
Knowledge of gambling is a prerequisite for you to be in a gambling campaign and there are already a lot of quality posters about gambling in the campaigns, the managers have a scoring system for every participant like they do in our campaign here in Stake, other managers are doing the same, we cannot compare a mixing business to gambling industry they are worlds apart, because mixers have a limited platform to promote their business, while casinos have a lot of platforms that cater for their business.

Quote
Or there is another option, you can all migrate to another forum just like what mixers are doing, though there is no guarantee that you'd succeed over there, because guess what? Satoshi's legacy is right here, and just like the Bitcoin which was the prime alpha, still is and will remain so if God wants it, this forum will also remain the alpha among all crypto communities.

That's why there is no worthy adversary for this forum, just like there is no worthy adversary for Bitcoin.😉

I don't know where you get the idea that casino promotions are not doing well here or do you know something that we don't know like casinos will not be tolerated here, casinos are very much welcome here and the forum Administrator is in support of the Crypto casino industry, Bitcointalk is still the best place to promote all the other platforms are secondary for casinos.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 14, 2023, 03:36:48 PM

If Inoue couldn't hurt Tapales early in the fight then that slim possibility to KO Inoue might come to fruition when the Monster is already tired in the championship rounds hehe.

Unfortunately, all the fighters Inoue fought were hurt by his power punches I have not seen a fighter whom he did not hurt that is why he has the title the Monster because he can hurt anyone, the closest fight he had gone was the first match against Donaire, but every fighter has their weakness and its on Tapales team to see Inoue's weakness and try to exploit it.

I will be happy if Tapales can survive the whole fight and even if he loses by decision he has something to be proud of because Inoue always comes to knock out his opponents and he always goes all out just to achieve that.
But I will be very excited and happy if he wins although it's a tall task there is such a thing as a lucky punch, the one that brought down Tyson in his fight against Douglas.
912  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do signature campaigns work? on: December 14, 2023, 03:06:28 PM
I'm intrigued by how these signature campaigns work.

How do these companies know you pasted their html in your signature and that they should pay you? Do they pay a fixed amount per post or a fixed amount per week? How much do they pay on average for each rank? Or is it not the rank but the merit which determines your income?

Cheers!

Check out the Signature announcement thread I'm participated in,

Stake.com NEW SIGN CAMPAIGN l UP TO $160/WEEK l 15 HERO & LEG SPOTS OPEN

Everything you want to know about a signature campaign is here, The rank of the members that can be accepted the rules of the campaign how many minimum posts to create in a week, the payment structure, and how to receive your payout.

It is an incentive for forum members when they display the banner beneath their profile of the platform they are promoting, you can post the signature code on your profile page to fully understand it you need to join one signature campaign since you have a good number of merits you only need to increase your activity to reach a member rank and apply for signature that accept members rank.
Once you receive your first payout from the signature campaign you will be motivated to increase your activity and contribution here on Bitcointalk.
913  Economy / Services / Re: This method of earning allows you to earn $1000 a day or more on: December 14, 2023, 02:24:44 PM
I don't blame scammers that come up with these obvious dubious schemes, I blame those who fall for them. Assuming people are not falling for these cheap scams, they will not have the motivation to continue. Hey, it's Christmas and scammers are on the loose again, don't let greed make you lose what you have... there is no investment that pays 40% per day!

That is why we should correct, and give these posters negative feedback whenever they post plans or schemes like this because there are so many newbies who still believe that it's possible, we should keep this forum clean, scammers will use popular platforms to scam and Bitcointalk is one popular forum so even if they place the thread in moderated we should report and tag these posters, its good that OP does not know how to moderate his thread so we can drop here and counter his post.
I don't think he can defend all these allegations because it's true that OP is a scammer.
914  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 14, 2023, 01:01:24 PM
A lot of them seem to be hastily assembled clone sites with very little effort put in and gimmicky marketing. Do you guys have any thoughts on this... plague?

These casinos will be exposed and the community has exposed a lot of clone sites whose intention is to make a quick profit and then go, you can easily tell a platform if they are dedicated, they spend a lot on their design, and their providers.
Some casinos are dedicated and worthy of support they are compliant by getting a license, and they want to make a presence here by wearing a copper account, getting active they think long term, compared to fake casinos who just dropped their casino here and do not address questions and issues, they are content with small numbers of players and they do not want to be competitive.
These kinds of casinos just wait for big deposits before they pull the plug, if they cannot show their dedication to serving their clients then look for a better and established casinos
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The need for mental section or public orientation for new gamblers. on: December 14, 2023, 09:55:23 AM
We know that gambling can be very addictive for people who might not be going about it responsibly and that if most beginner are not properly guided by experienced individual that have heard a share of their personal experience in irresponsible gambling,  they will become a victim of gambling addiction and might have a marred thought process as it regards safe gambling
Creating a request for an additional subboard should be requested in the meta section but I don't recommend that you move or create a thread for your request because it will not be welcome, because the gambling section is full of redundant topics and discussion

Quote
so I'm thinking if it would be possible for a thread or sub board to be created in the form of a mental  orientation section that people can just visit and go through ethics of responsible gambling, share experiences and current challenges faced as a gambler. It could just be used for discussions regarding responsible gambling and do if ones goes through the board or thread, while starting or going about his gambling, their will be check in his jar it as a result of peoples lives experiences he has read.
We have hundreds of threads for this and every week there's always a discussion about mental health and gambling concerns sometimes there are topics about sports betting and dice games that will direct to topics about mental health and gambling concerns it will just mess up the whole board so we are already good that we have two boards, adding more will mess up everything.

Quote
I just said I should air this out, I don't know if this is possible or a better suggestion should be given.
I discouraged this and I'm sure I'm not the only one besides, this is not a gambling forum it's a Bitcoin forum.
916  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceX.cc ❤️ crypto dice, 11 cryptocurrencies, bonuses, faucet on: December 13, 2023, 03:57:42 PM
This is all wrong you should have an option to review the site before you register and not be forced to register before you can view, check, and review the platform, I thought I was having a hard time finding the close button on the pop registration, until I read other members' experience, and there's allegation this early, this is such a bad start for a casino.

If they will not take down that popup registration and they will not resolve the accusation better forget this platform, we have a lot of better and highly reputable gambling platforms in this forum.
It's hard to take a risk on this one, the admin seems arrogant not to grant our request.

Hehe, i learned a good lessons here from some legendary users, and giving out tip about that:
Never go throw link which is hidden behind text from noname user. Better Rightlick + copy link then just paste it somewher to see what is that.

In this case: https://thoughtful-cow.static.domains/ what the hell is that?

All the links on the site are useless, it just goes back to the homepage, the site is not properly configured, so much information is missing, and if OP claims to have a huge community then why he is using a free domain and hosted on a free server which is https://static.app/, they don't even have a list of project they have advertise so we'll know what these not so well know quality altcoins they are promoting.
For all we know this is another platform for pump-and-dump meme coins, there are so many shitcoin meme coins it's hard to differentiate who among these are quality and shitcoin.
918  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How To Buy A Domain Name With Bitcoin on: December 13, 2023, 02:15:07 PM
Yes, I think there are quite a few registrars that now accept BTC for domain names registration, and you can also visit here to buy a domain name on your own name and can also add privacy protection to it, all using BTC as a payment method: https://www.zakservers.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=register

I checked your popularity on Google so far for a small player you're still doing good but Namecheap rule it as the domain registrar that accept Bitcoin because its a complete platform, domain, hosting, ssl seller and domain marketplace, its hard to get a share of the market for new player in the industry, you have to do something more like lower your price offering freebies, age is also important, you're only 3 years in the business but if you can keep your service clean with no complaint and an excellent support you will go a long way but it will take sometime.

One of the best place to promote your service is webhostingtalk.com
Since you are already a Junior Member you should post images it will help to make your announcement interesting.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: December 13, 2023, 10:08:18 AM

Question: Is there any amount lost that can make you commit suicide?
Gambling is not for everyone you could lose money, you could lose sleep and worse you could lose your life, if you're of weak character or you have a friend who has a weak character and is prone to depression you should advise him to take it easy gambling, those who commit suicide in gambling had a wrong mindset in gambling, they take gambling seriously and because of this they cannot accept losses and outcome that is not in favor of the gambler.

Quote
If yes, then don't ever use such amount to gamble.
It's not the amount but the weakness of the character that leads a gambler to commit suicide, they think they are weak and live in disappointment they lose their motivation to live because they think they are useless.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 13, 2023, 09:24:24 AM
Just trying to get the communities opinion based on their experience about the topic.

Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?

It's not gambling when you are not losing, losing is very much associated with gambling that is why it is called gambling, you can either lose or win it is 50/50 but if we're talking about online gambling platforms, the house has an edge so there's a big probability of losing than winning.
If you cannot cope with losing and you can only accept winning then gambling is not for you, it's a wrong mindset to gamble with the idea of making money, your focus should be on entertainment, and winning money is just a bonus for playing.

If you feel that you are having a hard time accepting your losses, then it is time to stop gambling, gambling should not be the cause of depression, once it snowballs you will suffer from a lot of health problems like headaches, heart palpitation among other things, it's better to stop when it's harming you.
