The victory won by Juventus from Freiburg made Allegri smile, the winning bring Juventus to the next round. few weeks ago Allegri said winning the UEL title is the ticket for UCL spot next season. This is a pretty hard target for Allegri, because at UEL they are not the only top team. Sevilla, is a club that has won UEL several times in the last decade, Arsenal, Real Betis, Leverkusen, MU & Roma can still thwart Juventus. So I think Allegri should focus on improving the Serie-A standings rather than targeting to be UEL champions.

Here are the results of the first leg recap of the last 16 of the Europa League which took place last night. A total of 5 teams won at home and the other 3 only got a draw. We can say that there were more exciting matches than in the Europa League, at least in most of the matches we saw goals in the first half. Fiorentina are trying to find goals with a dominant football at home but they couldn't make use of the positions they found in the first half.If Sivasspor get a draw here, they will have a big advantage for themselves to pass the round.
Lech Poznan and Basel are already the favorites against their opponents so I'm not surprised that they were ahead at half time.
In the Gent-Basaksehir game, of course the hosts were the more dominant side, but the first goal was scored by the team from Basaksehir, who will want to increase the pressure and score in the second half.

Rashford has just scored a brilliant goal on the 5th minutes of the first half. I can see Manchester united dominating the field and having confidence in the game. Real Betis might equalise this goal in the first half but I think Manchester united is having good opportunities that they are suppose to take advantage of.

I just hope that they can score more goals in this first half. The game is still open to both teams to win,it is just that Manchester have more advantage in winning the match if they can maintain this goal and avoid to concieve any goal.

This defeat proves that having a star player at a club does not necessarily change fate and circumstances. I think PSG should be able to improve the depth of their squad and be able to optimize players who are mediocre but can contribute optimally to the club. If they stick to the ideology of keeping star players I think they will repeat the same mistake. If we look at PSG's statistics in the last 16 of the UCL since the 2012/2013 season they have been eliminated 5 times and until now PSG have never won the UCL title.

It's very long to wait for another match for arsenal to happen. I can't be patient with how good arsenal to play against sporting lisbon. Europa league is a way for arsenal to get another trophy but sporting lisbon can't be underrated. Arsenal needs to remember that if sporting lisbon was also playing so well in the previous match. Arsenal must have anticipated the bad result against sporting lisbon in the first leg. We saw how good arsenal played in the domestic competition but i think that if it can't be a good measurement to know whether arsenal will play good or bad against lisbon.

Arsenal has ever met sporting lisbon in 2018 and at that time arsenal was winning against sporting lisbon in europa league with 1 win and 1 draw. that makes arsenal able to pass the next round. I think that the same thing gonna happen in this match.

Son, konte and kane must be leaving from totenham. Another bad result for totenham. Glad to see that if milan's attacking line was not so good in executing some chances. Milan might able to make two or more goals if there are decent strikers who would able to do proper executions to the some golden chances against totenham. Totenham deserves nothing for this season. Getting a spot in the UCL just like getting a trophy for totenham. I don't even know why kane didn't wanna leave from the club that has no future like totenham.

I was really hopeful about PSG but they couldn't make it. This time things went even worse for them as they lost by 2-0 in 90 minutes. I really don't know how they can't be competitive enough in the second leg. I mean they didn't play badly statistically maybe. They had Mbappe and Messi both on the pitch in the end. But the problem was that they couldn't reflect this effort onto the score.

Bayern Munich were just playing before their supporters and they met the expectations. Even without Lewandowski they are still able to eliminate one of the biggest title contenders without conceding a goal.

De Ligt played a good game, but Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored the important 2:1 that puts Bayern Munich back on first place in the league. I didnt like that Mane came in for Eric C-M, 1 minute after the goal. But it was a planned change of 3 players and Choupo-Moting musst go. After that, the game was not better, the Bayern changes were not good. But in the end they won and that is the most important thing.

Napoli lost against Lazio. However, this defeat will not have a big impact on the team as Napoli are still at the top of the points table. The team is far ahead of the rest of the team in points. I think he will ensure victory in the next matches more brilliantly.

I told myself that I am real good this round because before the score is updated as I hit 3 exact score so early then after it is updated then I realized that it seems this round is quite predictable. Dang it, I got 5 other people that had the exact same point as me. I had 0-0 on the game between Southampton and Leicester and its currently 1-0, just need Leicester to score another goal to equalize now

I watched the highlights video too and my impression are as follows

• Ronaldo is no longer dangerous with his free kicks but it began many years ago. One or three seasons around a season Ronaldo won his first Ballon d'Or with Manchester United, his free kicks are very dangerous but later he is like nothing at free kick points.
• In the match, Ronaldo wasted some good opportunities even in a 5m50 area. It's ageing effect and he can not deny it as well as be against it forever.

Needless to say, Messi was very useless at free kick points in early of his career and even when he won some Ballon d'Or with Barcelona but at later phase of his career, Messi sharpened his free-kick skills a lot and now he has scored more than 60 goals from free kicks that is far from Ronaldo.

Anyways football is not a wish but by action.  The men of Arsenal are as strong as if they have renewed their ammunition.
The boys can now go home and eat very well because the pressure is not much on their neck anymore. Assuming that they lost or had to draw it had been like a hell of pressure on them by next week.

It was indeed the best time for Man City to play against Newcastle after a difficult first leg which led to six goals all together.

Dortmund is winning so far and they are in additional time right now leading 2-1 and I think that they deserve to win this game,Leizpig is a strong team but only Dortmund is the team with the best consistency so far which will put all the pressure on Bayern Munchen in this weekend game,they Dortmund with this win will be with 10 consecutive wins which is a key factor for me that now this team has a very solid game play and they can be the winners of the Bundesliga,not many weeks ago they were not in the title fight and yet here they are leading the Bundesliga.

Arsenal are technically going to play one of their easiest fixture in the season. Bournemouth are literally one of the worst teams now. They are one of the biggest candidates to relegate from the league and they are the team that conceded the biggest amount of goals at the same time. With this very weak defense it is very difficult for them to resist a team like Arsenal. They would just try to wear out Arsenal attackers as much as possible but I don't expect them to be successful at it.

Arsenal need to win as many matches as possible from now on to maintain their lead against Manchester City. In this critical period Manchester City would start playing more focusedly.

The game has started and i think we will see a lot of goals today. Marco Rose the Leipzig coach was Dortmunds coach until May 2022, so he should know the old tactics and the players.
