921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 05, 2017, 04:41:55 PM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

If bitcoin starts dieing then for sure there will be major changes in the altcoins trading. Bitcoin is mostly traded against bitcoin and I agree to that but there are many more markets which has already evolved and ready to take altcoin pairing for the trading purpose. The most important would be USD or local currency of other nations too for exchanging the altcoins. That market will rise a lot from there onwards.

However, I would like to add that bitcoin becoming dead has got very less chances. As we speak altcoins are being traded against bitcoin is the basis of most of the traded volume into bitcoin. This will keep pumping the bitcoin forever.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: September 04, 2017, 07:13:58 PM
There is no need of depicting that much reasons for bitcoin here. We all know that bitcoins value is what drives every crypto lover very crazy about it. Obviously whatever you have listed here is the adavsbtage for us and who know many major changes might just take place in the near future. Long live bitcoin and be better than everything else.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone know of a cheap under $200 gpu for mining ? on: September 04, 2017, 06:28:44 PM
My friend began to be interested in cryptocurrency.
He dont want to spend 2k on asic stuff and whatnot, so he probably just mine ethereum or something like it. He wants to use his old laptop, but I know that's gonna dont work.
So, need cheap gpu. Any ideas, links?

You can try GTX 730, 960 540 series. These are most cheapest gpu you will find in the market. Go for 4 gb power and try to get second hand which would be even cheaper for your friend. These gpu are still profitable if managed with rig of three to four units. Single gpu from them won't give you much profits. You will have to have six gpu in place. You can go for mining zcash. You will have almost 30 sol/s hash power from these models which is pretty fast with these oldies and ROI is about one year. :-)
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: September 04, 2017, 06:12:07 PM
Prices are down because of China news that is the most closest reason for it.

Whatever it is, I'm sure that this is the good time to buy ethereum and many other altcoins that we see as deem fit for investing. Always remember that in crypto world whenever there is dip in it, then that's the right time to buy the coins and have then stored for the future. Why? Obviously because they rise again and with time we have seen they have gone from pennies to cents and dollars to couple of thousands. That's the beauty with which they grow and that's why you should always invest when it's at low rates.
925  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MinerGate Cloud mining on: September 04, 2017, 05:27:27 PM
I mine from minergate, during office hours.  Smiley I'm giving it two cores even though I know it doesn't give me anything. It reminds me when I was mining bitcoin in the old cpu days

Actually op is asking about their cloud mining features and nit the hardware mining sharing features.

By the way is it really legal to use your office power, internet and computer to mine the coins? I don't think so and if your employer comes to know about your mining thing then you are probably screwed.  Roll Eyes

Anyway coming to the minergate mining stuff, they have recently added the cloud mining, like old recent at this time, and they are paying for now. However I'm not really into the idea of cloud mining because bug companies like genesis are also going down, so it's upto you whether to trust them or not and then make investments.
926  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase sees complaints grow on: September 03, 2017, 01:52:03 PM

Probably an impact of the current high fees and transaction times.

Man imagine all the legal expenses for these.

But the reason for higher fees and transaction time is also related with increased price of bitcoin. What they say is government might be forcing down the use of more digital currency because its already against the law and defined as impunity of government letting you use the currency anyway. If it really comes in the jurisdiction of government which is already on the verge of it will lead to fall of digital wallets.
927  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I Trust Hashflare.io ? on: September 03, 2017, 01:30:35 PM

This site was very popular and it is popular currently as well but has lost little trust towards the recent changes that they have made into the site. What I'm referring to is their updating policy regarding limited contract terms for scrypt investment which was lifetime contract initially. This has led to ambiguous thoughts about the hashflare whether they will pay the user or not in the coming time.

Whatever I'm taking about us being discussed here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2139246.0

You better go through the matter first and see what can be done. Yes cloud mining sites are never profitable but few were there to gain the trust of users and now they are falling too.

928  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: September 03, 2017, 01:13:35 PM

After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?

Bitcoin is the strongest currency in the cryptocurrency and not in the world. Bitcoin can't surpass the fiat currency because bitcoin doesn't have a power. Bitcoin is still not popular in the world.

Indeed bitcoin is not even known to the half of the population in the world. Though they know about bitcoin not everyone will like the concept or believe it in the first place. Besides that bitcoin is not sufficient for all and not all he coins are in the circulation as well. This can be very dramatic. The currency holds price a lot of price but it doesn't mean it has captured the world economy or getting best in the world. The strongest stuff is fiat money which flows through one nation to another with price difference and keeps increasing daily for its demand.

929  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: September 03, 2017, 12:50:39 PM
Due to volatile nature of bitcoin it's better to keep investing your fiat whenever the price drop is there. It doesn't matter if the price is very less because it would be still profit when it rises more than that. This will give us collective profits when bitcoin price rises above all the investments per different rates that we did earlier. So there is no right time to buy bitcoin or sell it. It's all about the price dropping and getting your btc refilled for bettering your profits. Emotions should be kept away because investing in emotional way is the first sign to loose the money. Very simple maths is involved, if you keep grabbing at lower prices though the price keeps increasing later then it would generate us profit. So invest as much as we can whenever price dips are there.
930  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner trader on: September 02, 2017, 03:44:08 PM

Which coins exchange is the best choice for begginer trader??

Choosing coin exchange should be personal collection. There are many exchanged but every exchange has its own collection of coins which they accept and let you trade there. So if you have one coin which is listed in the another exchanger where you don't have account then you will have to go for that exchanger. This will happen with you for sure when you start investing money into different coins. So it's better you sign up for the all available exchangers and use them as an when required. There are top exchangers which you can see at coinmarketcap.com and choose as per your coins.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: September 02, 2017, 03:24:57 PM

Bitcoin is "legal" in most countries. Its just not the national currency. Countries would be stupid to give away their fiscal policy.

That's bitter truth actually. No country would go for second currency which is completely decentralised and works on the virtual processes to use it. They won't accept it as primary or national currency because it break all the regulations of national financial ecosystem. The result could be negative and people might just loose the faith in the finances leading to recession. Yes that much disaster can happen for sure. See, we have traditional currency which is based on instances in the nation and heroic movements that happened before the independence of a country. This has been adopted since long and it will never be shattered like that easy. Plus don't forget bitcoin is limited and needs of people is very much high.
932  Economy / Economics / Re: India should consider using Bitcoin to prevent " Demonitization " on: September 02, 2017, 02:14:26 PM
It seems to be impossible to plant something like that. There won't be any regulation which means people can easily forfeit the rules of using single wallet address. Why would they use it single address if the rest of world is open to use multiple address and multiple wallets too. That can't be controlled and it would be against decentralised rule of bitcoin. There is no way to track the transaction of bitcoin with so much population in India country. Plus there lacks the complete IT structure in the india and many of the counties in it are unaware of computing. That would be really difficult to implement all of this.

933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: September 02, 2017, 12:54:13 PM

If we are talking about current situation then bitcoin is doing very hot in the game. The price looks very hiked but to be honest this not the right time to sell our bitcoins but hold for even longer period of time. The bitcoin is going to be hiked even further because new investors are now coming and big projects are being launched over the smart contracts, the end result bitcoin getting pumped a lot. More ways of earnings and investments has arrived so people are investing more which is increasing the base value of bitcoin. So I'm pretty sure it will pump soon leading to better returns.

934  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does this service exist? on: August 29, 2017, 05:59:32 AM

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there is such a thing as an intermediary service for receiving a fiat bank transfer (let's say from a friend, employer etc) and converting it instantly into bitcoin on my address? A friend told me about a service that exists for the other way around, so far i haven't had much sucesss on search engines. Thanks! Smiley

Of course there exist lot of services like the one you are explaining. You can use some exchangers which are well know to this type of services such as localBitcoin. What they do is, they will escrow the funds on to there servers until the transaction is complete. You have freedom to choose the options as in, people will be offering you different rates for the same coin and you can negotiate it too. So it's almost the same thing which you asked for but with more advantages.
935  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: August 29, 2017, 05:39:07 AM

Bitcoin doesn't promise anything but those 3 reasons are sure a good thing to invest in bitcoin.  And those three are the majors and key factors that why we should invest in bitcoin. Well before as I've seen it's full potential I certainly put my interest to bitcoin and that's why I started to buy bitcoins why I can when the price was quite low.

Bitcoin is the only thing that can promise you profits currently so don't think about it in negative way. Anyway you are also making the statement of certainty regarding its potential in the same line. So I'm pretty sure you are little into bitcoin but also having second thoughts regarding it. However I'm sure bitcoin investment today is the future of crypto lover tomorrow. If you want to invest in the bitcoin then just do it with full peace of mind and feel the potential of it. When it was cents worth it was not believed by anyone and now when it has become 4000x expensive people are finding the reasons to invest in it. That's just ridiculous how everyone starts thinking of something when it gets value. Better invest straightforwardly if you believe in it.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Taxi on: August 29, 2017, 05:00:24 AM

I think it would be great if you could pay your Taxi-drive with Bitcoin! U agree with me?

Good news for you. Just call uber driver to pick you up and then pay him tips with bitcoin. :-)

Yes Uber is the taxi service and first of its kind who has started accepting the bitcoins. This news has increased craze amongst the new investors and think that it is going to help the bitcoin growth fund to increase a lot.

I'm pretty sure with the uber moving through the crypto world other services like cab, ola will also join the crypto hype soon. Who knows they will do it for not loosing the customers.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: August 29, 2017, 04:39:52 AM

I used to buy coins previously and used to put x% share of my real job salary into the bitcoin. However, I have recently changed my strategies to earn more coins/profits by directly investing my money. Today's strategy is to invest money on planned ICO which are taking leaps continually and many if the coins are getting big values. I have seen so many people investing money in ICO in the early stages of launch and getting at least 100x profits after saving those coins for months. If that is worth then I'm not gonna save my bitcoin but I would love to invest it with proper follow ups. If there is money, then there is always risk. I'm ready to take one.
938  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ad services for faucets? on: August 28, 2017, 05:05:21 PM
Hi,
can you say which ad services are good for faucet webpages?

I tested bitclix - cannot login anymore, are they running away?
a-ads - I do not get any unique impressions, I do not know why?
adsense - actually very good
beeads- no response from publishers yet
adbit.co - the same
coinadvert - the same
coinurl - the same

the web address is http://faucet.dsgnrt.net

There crypto related ad agencies too which can give you better impressions. If you are having crypto related site then you must go with the crypto related agencies only. I find mellow ads as the best option for you because they are completely related with crypto world and the related ads. You can easily pay the service in crypto currency and also get paid in the same way. Just go to mellow ads and find more if you think it's the suitable one for you. Otherwise Adsense is always there.
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prepaid card paid by Bitcoin? on: August 28, 2017, 04:53:37 PM
Is there a service where I can buy prepaid by paying bitcoins?

I don't need a physical card, just need the details to order from ebay.

Yes you can create your virtual cards on the manybof the sites available in the crypto world. The one which I trust most is tenx, bitpay, hashflare etc. Google the names and you will find there services easily. The official announcement can be found under alternate crypto currency discussion if you want to research more snout them. They will provide you bitcoin debit card in both the firms that is virtual and physical, choice is yours.
940  Economy / Economics / Re: How many can resist selling off their BTC for huge profits? on: August 28, 2017, 03:47:41 PM
What percent of people do you think are able to resist selling their BTC when confronted with huge profits they've obtained.  Say 500% or more even?

If I'm getting 500% of my initial investment then I will not hesitate to sell off my bitcoins for fiat conversion. I have my own agenda of investment and I'm here to make money so if that's profit for me then why not sell it. :-)

Well of course everyone is not like me and they might just wait for more profits in long terms. Some of them have that kind of potential. But for me this would be more than enough.
