why do the pools not make the daily payouts with no minimum they claim , i've tried both http://cinnimultipool.com/
http://cinni.ghash.org/  the test them out ,2 days no payout's another pile of crap

have you tried contacting them?  Cinni price has gone up a little so some of these multipools must be buying Wink

The Official CinniCoin Bounty site will be launched on Friday but we'll try to deliver earlier!

If you want to donate early on, send to this address: JVVy2E48SjDXQNx8S1ATXu23zohAsDC633

We will move most of our previous anonymous donation (currently about 30k CinniCoins) to that address before Friday.

All donations and transactions will be posted on the cinnicoin blockchain here: http://cinnichain.info/address/JVVy2E48SjDXQNx8S1ATXu23zohAsDC633

We'll make sure to take advantage of the stake so our donation constantly goes up every 3 days.

Thanks Cinni community!

What will donations be used for and who will decide where that Cinni is spent?

When I send bitcoins using bitcoin Q, transaction arrive almost instant, how long will it take with cinni ?
The transaction I made shows as confirmed and "green" but the amount did not arrive and tx id can not be seen in blockchain.

how many confirmations does yr wallet show?  be aware that some sites will not credit your account with Cinni until 20 confirmations on blockchain which can happen in as little as 30 mins or over 3 hours, depending on how many PoS blocks have been mined by the people who are keeping stake.  Over time as blockchain becomes more regular and secured we can expect less confirmations needed, for now 10 -20 confirms seems is what most exchanges are comfortable with in regard to new coins like Cinni.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 04, 2014, 07:09:03 PM
wow didn't realise cryptsy had such a bad rep

thanks for the info i for one will give atomic a go

np Smiley

no need to take my word for either, a search for "cryptsy negative balances" will provide some background and insight there

Atomic also has referral/reward system in place which rewards with a new type of feeshare that can be traded or kept for the coins they pay out to holders every 6 hours. Its traded under ATP/BTC and amount of coins received is relative to the total that exist, (currently 2073.70186490), it will reach a max total of 6000 that will exist/created from this unqiue system.  It another reason I support Atomic and believe these will become very valuable in future as they become more scarce (very little to buy on market, as users hold onto them for the longterm).

People are also very friendly and  helpful in the chat, and I've learnt alot from some of the knowledgeable people there Smiley

After reading through many of the posts, as well as the fantastic replies, I've dumped a few BTC worth into Cinni.

Especially after the fact that there have been multiple reliable coders as part of the development.

Great, welcome!  Bring over your AC friends! Smiley

they are already here Wink reading....

Tell them to read quick so they wont miss cheap buy of cinni:)

hi everybody... i am another surviver of the AC disaster... Wink ... happy to be here... red the last 20 pages or so this seems to be a real nice community... i would like to buy some cinni... and see it grow... but i wont it for 0.00009999... so i have to wait a little... and i saw the volume on cryptsy is really low... Is everybody at mintpal or why is it so?... So far i put my trust in cryptsy cause they never was hacked... all the others was (except MP but they are really new)

Not true , Cryptsy has been hacked before, and users have suffer loss of coins due to bugs and glitches in their platform so bad idea to ever put your trust in them.  There is also history of manipulation of coins price and volume and its unlikely that authorities will tolerate the Cryptsy's pump and dump groups any longer when USD trading is finally added and open for trading.

Check out Atomic-Trade - it has never been hacked and has been designed from ground up with the security and welfare of its users and their coins.
Only exchange that does not try to increase its profit by forcing its users to pay more for their Cinni withdrawals.  See the difference - Withdrawal fee at Cryptsy 0.1 CINNI(!),  Bittrex charge 0.2 CINNI(!), Mint charges 0.02, and Atomic its the minimum always 0.005 CINNI.  That is large difference, why is it needed?

946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 03, 2014, 08:21:12 PM
Guys, there was an ugly bug with address balance. I'm sorry about that.
But this issue should be fixed now - give it another try if you were disappointed before and of course you are welcome to try if didn't yet.  Wink

CinniChain - CinniCoin blockchain explorer

Thanks!   Smiley

great work, this is a really nice design!  thanks for making it, it will get alot of use from everyone Cheesy

remove the premine and you will get better support.  Almost 8 Million coins premined and the bounties you hav posted do not add up to that. what will you do with that unallocated extra 7 Million coins?  Undecided
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SHA256]+[CPU] MediterraneanCoin (MED) - REUSE your ERUPTER!! on: May 03, 2014, 06:56:18 PM
Couldn't some big players in MED (I hardly have any, I only have a few miners) trade back and forth on Atomic just to get the volume up and help garner some interest?

we need more sellers there.  unlike the manipulated exchanges eg cryptsy, mint and other it is impossible to buy or sell into your own orders using the same account so people cant fake volume or play with price using one account, they will need more then one account and suspicious behavior would get noticed and required more thought on the person manipulating the price to make it seem normal.

this also something that may get Cryptsy into alot of legal trouble in future if they allow it to continue for much longer (and they do have history of allowing this to occur on a regular basis and being aware pump and dump groups working their exchange (maybe even support ) ) while trying to meet regulation guidelines that Atomic already meets to a much higher standard.

hey,

if i am not wrong some people get transaction fees via an open wallet!?
i am a little bit confused how this work, because i transfered my cinni into my wallet yesterday but get no fees till now..
Do i have to wait the 3 days before pos starts?
Thanks a lot!

Crankys

ps: wallet is open, encrypted and unlocked

yes wait 3 days after your first transfer to get interest on that transfer only.  if you want more then you need more separate transfers of cinni (any amount) to your wallet.  a good number for single transfer for stake might 500 Cinni, in 3 days it will staked and also break into 2 x transfers so that in another 3 days you will 2 stakes from the original one. plan ahead and you get a nice amount of extra cinni that large single amount stakeholders miss out on.

Thank you for your quick response  Smiley
I didn't know that it is better to split one big transfer into a few little one. That is very good to know! Thank you.

Crankys

no problem Smiley

if you feel like helping the network there is also a faucet someone made and even small donations of 1 Cinni sent there should stake in a few days and will help the network.   It would be great if more people could start faucets this will help speed confirmation times for both transactions and stake waitng to mature in peoples wallets.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cinni developement thread and updates on: May 03, 2014, 06:12:59 PM
Just some suggestions that i think a coin like Cinni really needs now is CoinControl so people who do stake can avoid spending their oldest inputs and losing coinage unnecessarily.  and checkpoints as there appear to be none.

I think I know what the problem is.  You say you opened it with walletpassphrase in the console right? If you entered the 9999999999 in the command line, like most people do, that means your wallet will stake for 99999999 seconds. That's a long time. Go back and change it to 30 seconds and see what happens. .

ah yes you are right!

Ok so I actually have to choose if I have them in my wallet but not have "full" access all the time to them or if I have them at some (possibly dodgy) exchange.. but I agree its a PoS not a Cinny issue.. Thanks for the support guys! At least for now it changed back to balance

you dont have to choose. just be smarter with how your store your cinni.  instead of one big withdrawl, you can break it up so only smaller amounts will go to stake in a few days and the rest will be free.  you can also set staking=0 in the conf before opening your wallet this will disable staking completely and Cinni will always be free for your use. but will miss out the interest that comes from PoS mining as this is the reward for supporting Cinni and helping the network.

once you make more transactions to your wallet instead of to exchanges, then it wont seem like you have no access to them, you will have full access to any cinni deposits that have not aged 3 days and not gone to stake yet. and still be able to get free cinni from the coins that do stake.

953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 03, 2014, 05:30:57 PM
That is a small flaw with all Proof of Stake coins.  You just have to wait for them to mature in order to get them out of your wallet.  Any that you will need immediate access to can be kept on an exchange.

Hi guys. I apparently cannot send my coins from the wallet anymore. since this staking procedure started I got like 200 Cinni but unconfirmed and now the TOTAL amount of coins shifted in the wallet from balance to staking. I cannot send any coins that way. this sucks Sad

Any idea how long it takes cinni to mature so you can get them out of your wallet? i was always able to withdraw my BC while they were staking.

Are you sure you are right about this?

I'm asking because i haven't tried staking my Cinni yet.

its not a flaw, it helps secure the coin.  hover your mouse over the amount in your transactions and you will see how many blocks/confirmations are left before it matures and is available for use again.  and very bad idea to keep on exchange.

if you were able withdraw your BC while staking then that BC was from another input/deposit you sent to wallet.

when you stake it is from one input.  the first time you stake after it will split into 2 inputs.  so for example you withdrew 10000 from exchange to your wallet.  First time it will stake entire 10000 Cinni as its 1 input. (you also get 3.?? CinniCoin "interest").  after this will be 2 x inputs of 5000 Cinni and in 3 days they will stake again but separate from each other so you would then be able to spend the Cinni in one input that has not staked while the other is waiting to mature (and also the interest will 1.?? for each one).

You can set a reserve balance that will never stake, or "break up" what is sent to wallet into smaller amounts eg 1000 Cinni x 10 instead of 10,000 Cinni x 1.   Each of those 1000 Cinnis will then stake separately and allow for more flexible use of the Cinni you have in wallet in future.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 03, 2014, 05:16:14 PM
Such small sell volume on Cryptsy finally coin is in strong hands less then about 6 Bitcoin could buy all the coin upto 25500K. To me that is the sign of a healthy coin and soon to be pricr spike.

weak hands keep their cinni on exchanges worrying about price and p&ds.  strong hands keep in it in their wallets. Wink

955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 03, 2014, 05:01:10 PM
We all should know that wollong has interest in all coins that makes profit..
A lot of us suspect that bc pump to 84k was his creation..
So when he sees a good coin he will make a pump..
And if he anounced cinni pump i think we should be happy, because then this will happen!!!

Our precious cinni to the stars:) wiiiiiiiii Cheesy

Hope that we will maintain the price then when cinni rises!

cinni is not a pump and dump coin, people should be worried if someone starts trying at an early stage.  the Cinni network will slow to a crawl if a large majority of people pump and dump instead of also being stakeholders to keep the network "regular" and fast. and the price will no tbe maintained if Cinni starts to take days to transfer because people only care about quick profit instead of holding in their wallets some cinni for PoS and network support.

Remember Cinni is 100% PoS, there is no PoW mining to carry the load now in between PoS blocks and its not necessary if people save small amounts of Cinni to wallet and allow staking to occur, this is what will help support Cinni price, not pump and dumps.

Also if you deposit to an exchange like cryptsy then your coins are likely not kept in the deposit address but swept later on to another address so more coinage and a potential PoS block is lost. Pump and dump wont help as they encourage this behaviour more and its too early in the cinni coins life to support it.  this why it takes 2 hours to get 10 confirms one day and 30 mins another day.
cant rely on coins sitting long enough on exchanges like that to support the network - without coincontrol feature they are unable to control which coins will fulfil user withdrawals, by default it will most likely be the oldest coins in the exchange wallets meaning more lost of inputs that could have mined another PoS block. (any amount of Cinni must remained unmoved for 3 days before Cinni can begin to stake).  o

There are a few exchanges that dont appear to move user deposits around and the coins if not withdrawn from exchange or sold will sit in wallets unmoved allowing some staking to occur.  BC has good balance of stakeholders in their community versus people only interested in keeping on exchanges for trading and pump and dumping and this helps their network be fast and regular.

My wallet is stuck guys. Any suggestions would be great. I read the above comments and just wanted to see if everything was ok, but I am getting 0 for 3 confirmations. I tried to send some funds to mintpal and they are showing pending. My Viper security software just deleted the desktop icon after I closed it and tried to re-start. I have allowed my Virus software to allow the qt? Am I on the right wallet? 1.0.0.0

Been close to 30 minutes.

network is slow again, i got 1 confirm in 30 mins.  just be patient a few hours ago it was 15-20 blocks/hour now its just a few.  i think this because not enough stakeholders and too many keeping on exchanges like cryptsy. It takes 3 days for stake and it resets if Cinni is moved so we need more people start to save in their wallets even small amounts regularly and leave it there and keep wallets open to support the network, then it will be faster i think.

and if anyone has not staked their cinni this week, open your wallet please Wink

i get this aswell, just happened again.
60mb line no other wallets do this for me

yeah i see what you mean, it just happened to me. it goes away after awhile.  looks like a few peers on on the wrong fork and it is is ahead of everyone else.

the correct blockheight is now 65693 (as of this post).  the peers on the wrong fork but are attempting to mine PoW blocks and one of them shows it blockheight (120.5.124.58:31813) as 66981 about 1300 blocks ahead .  If you look in log you will see them as misbehaving peers and they get blocked

i think we also need some checkpoints and wallet update to stop anyone trying some funny stuff on our cinni :\

this guy has already been refunded and is only attempting to spread misinformation about atomic.  Are those sockpuppets replying to his own posts? I can say i have been using it for nearly 2 months now and have found it to be a very safe and reliable exchange.

I have been able to deposit and withdraw bitcoin and other altcoins regularly from there with no delays or issues.

They also only charge miner fees on withdraws which means you only the pay the default tx fee that a coin may have and not what what cryptsy, mintpal and others demand you to pay so they can profit more.

refunded ? This is really a joke, you always think that is my problem, what time to refund  to me?
Please tell me the refund address and txId

maybe you need to check your wallet.  look how long ago he replied to you and said he has refunded. i'm sure there is a tx id to your address to prove you were refunded but it just as easy in your position to claim they are not your address after you receive it. If they are thieves and cheaters as you want people to think then why have not more people stepped forward with the same or similar claims - It has not happened you are the only one making these claims.  So find more people who have had the same or similar thing happen to them there, i really doubt you will be able to.

To clarify I did manage to retrieve the pk from an old wallet backup and sent him his exact amount. We honor the commitment to our customers even when mistakes are made. Please make sure you are sending to a current address in the deposit list and do not mine to them.

and have a look at the about page, this is not an exchange that is trying to cheat anyone.  They care about their users.  You not find statements like this on other exchanges.  This is part of the reason why so many users now trust Atomic and believe in its future.  They are tired of other exchanges getting hacked, or trading with their coins and support tickets that carry on for months without resolution or just ignored.
