941  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cloudhashers - custom mining contracts starting from 0.01 BTC on: June 24, 2014, 03:07:01 PM
how is this going guys? i'm now with pbmining but this seems very attractive. unfortunately i can't find much information around this. anyone else have jumped in and have good results?

this really not looks as legit mining company.
there is no price per Ghs or Mhs  .... sent any amount of BTC, and receive some percentage during long period ... really look like a simple ponzi.

to  Cloudhashers
What about the pictures, pool statistic  etc.  show us something, or you never will get any serious customers.

It's simple, because they are greedy and lazy doing regural work to make profit.
945  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain miners fee on: June 22, 2014, 09:14:56 PM
Hi,

Always when I send bitcoins from blockchain, I must pay miners fee too.  Sad
What is miners fee? And I think that bitcoin decentralized value and no bank so doesnt should be no tax or fee?

Can I disable miners fee in blockchain?
And who are this miners who get my money?
And who confirms my transaction?

Hi,

Miners are quite important part, think I can say a vital part.

Simply: no you can't disable them (because then noone will confirm your transaction) & Miners are those who confirms your transactions.

find some video about mining on youtube (this is my first one which introduced me bitcoins some time ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmOzih6I1zs). Can help you understand.

or if you like to reading, trythis https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

P.S.  don't be so greedy, fees are not so big  Wink
946  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: After 2140 - Last Bitcoin mined. on: June 22, 2014, 06:12:32 PM
Ok, Now I know this might not be our problem, because we would be feeding the worms, when this happens, but I thought I'd just ask.

If everything goes, as planned with the Bitcoin protocal and difficulty etc...And the last BTC is mined in 2140, will mining still continue?

Currently miners do it, to get the Bitcoins as reward, for solving the blocks. And for the miners fee as a bonus. So in effect, even if you set no fee, your

transaction will still be processed, because the Bitcoins is still an incentive, for you to solve the block.

In theory, after 2140 there will be no more Bitcoins released as a reward, and the fee will be the only incentive to mine.

Will the fee be increased, when the Bitcoins reward fall away? And if so, will it still then be viable for a merchant or a individual to use the currency, if it has higher fees, than other alternative payment methods?  Huh

It's hard question and nobody can answer it 100% sure. Bitcoin is still kind of experiment.
IMO only thing what will happen is there will be less "profit seeking" miners in future, because now most of new members come with exatly same vision .... make a fortune.

947  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Question from a Novice to an Expert on: June 22, 2014, 05:47:09 PM
I would like to call my self a novice since there are several aspects of Bitcoin which I fully do not understand.

The very one aspect that has drawn my attention lately is mining within a pool.

Mining itself is very understandable and I get the idea.

But then come the "ways" of mining in the Bitcoin industry.

1. You can mine blocks for an award and

2. then you can mine to keep transactions going

My question to experts out there is:

Is there any award linked to "mining" transactions?

My thoughts swarm to bitcoin mining in 3 years or so.

As the award of each block will be halved every year the industry of mining will be unprofitable.

Thus, "mining" transactions could be a profitable alternative.

But the question is of course how.

Could you specify what you mean by  "mining transaction" ...Huh... ??

when you mine block (it contains number of transactions) and you get reward (fees of those transaction).

948  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Somene with correct information - Please correct the press with some comments. on: June 22, 2014, 10:53:28 AM
I refer to this article in the press.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=661058.new#new

People running away with a story, with little or no knowledge on the subject matter. Or just some misinformation to try to scare people away.

We should all respond, and see how many comments stays on there, or will they moderate that too.

I dont thing CEX. IO (or Ghash) would invest so much into a great hash rate they (now at 33% check Blockchain Hashrate Distribution) and then just blow it all away   Huh ... it makes no sence.

Moreover, in early 2014 they reach almost 50%, and released declaration. can't find it at the moment, but it was quite official looking document...
saying that they want to avoid that in future and will prevent it by allowing users with huge GHs redirect to other poools. As far as I know it not happen yet.

955  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "Spare" 7950 - no power costs on: June 19, 2014, 06:58:12 PM
Hi,

I have access to a PC that runs 24/7 and I don't pay for its power costs.
I also have a "spare" 7950.
From what I understand the profitability of mining bitcoins with GPUs has dropped massively due to ASICs (may be wrong, I don't really know what I'm talking about Smiley ).
So with GPUs, people seem to be mining Litecoin (or some other currency?).

How much could I roughly expect to make in 6 months? 7950s seem to have a "KHash rate" of 600+, and putting that into litecoin calculators with no power costs brings up about $214 profit (per year).

Is this roughly accurate?
Thanks!

Hi,

check roughly income with some autoswitching pool, like coinshift, clevermining, wafflepool or coinsolver...

Go to stats and find estimated profit per Mh (now it's around 0.0015 BTC/Mh daily)
956  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where are you from? on: June 19, 2014, 06:48:28 PM
I'd like to vote, but since "heart of europe" Czech Republic is missing on the list and I refuse to mark "rest of the world", I won't.

957  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet address changes after transaction? on: June 18, 2014, 07:21:06 PM
I am new at this bit coin thing. I just figured out why it is different. Has to do with the company i an dealing with i copied and pasted the wallet address from there site and when i went back it had a different wallet showing. It all depends on who is online and taking orders, the next persons wallet shows up and changes to the next with every order. So i got confused when it looked different then the one posted on there site. Thanks for the link though.

Hi welcome to bitcoin Smiley,

generally is recommended new address for each transaction, for security reasons and also for clarity (better overview of all your transactions)
you can put comment to that address ( e.g. seller put in your nick), so he knows who sent it ( this address is know to him and you only )

958  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] SpacePilot Pro 3D Mouse - EU on: June 17, 2014, 05:53:23 PM
still available, price lowered
959  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cloudhashers - custom mining contracts starting from 0.01 BTC on: June 15, 2014, 08:03:11 PM
More than 30 BTC paid in two weeks of operation. Waiting for new participants, that's just about 0.4-0.5% of our available hashing power.

Prove that you own mining device you talking about. Post pictures or something.
This gives you trust, thus more customers.
960  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCRock! 270 satoshi guaranteed, unlim multiply. We have payed more than $1010! on: June 14, 2014, 08:36:13 PM
Just found amazing ad block created by some user on faucet site - http://adbit.co/ads/I8A8QQA6ETRXN.gif.

Looks really great and attractive!

The only thing that there is old data, same as on btcrock.biz site.
And there is no solution for .gif Sad, but possible for flash by passing vars.

Hi

I made an update. Feel free to use them, my reward is that somebody like it.

here are two versions, because way I do this makes banners quite big files (my original one had 1.2 MB so I had to reduce it drastically)

here are 380kB and 520kB

It's kind a fun, so if anybody want I can make even bigger, but most of ad websites supports up to 600kB.
