941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth it? on: September 05, 2017, 05:21:54 PM
You meant Authorship token? I skimmed through their thread but I didn't see any mention of what you're talking about.

942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Golem for longterm? on: September 04, 2017, 04:28:52 PM
Golem is a great project to invest in, it's one of the altcoins I'm holding for long term just to see how it goes. They have huge following on twitter and reddit which gives me more confidence in their success.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: September 04, 2017, 04:13:57 PM
Dont worry Guy's this token Will moon to >$5 soon.
Big chinees Guy's playing with the price!
Be patient and you will be happy soon!
some rumors, or this is just your thoughts? 5$ is very big price i think, but after release we can see price near 2.5$ i think.

Normaal marketcaph of a project like this should be 100.000.000!
The market is 20 mil. Price should be x5 normaly this coin should be around $4.
But big Guy manipulate the price and keep it low to buy more.
We need more volume and  exchanges! To solve this.

I don't know, I think adding to bigger exchange would be worse while price is low since you'll find more "big guys" in those exchanges. Anyways, I don't think investors have anything to worry about in long term. It's a real project with real company behind it not some p&d.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did altcoins got so popular? on: September 02, 2017, 04:22:58 PM
Altcoins became famous when Doge launched,  I think that brought lot of attention and investors. People couldn't believe that something so sill would by worth anything. lol
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: September 01, 2017, 05:27:46 PM
I'm new in to this community, at least as a registered user of this forum and I'm extremely surprised to see people coming on thread for just vomiting their short term views and disapointment. "This project is a failure, I lost all my bitcoin and so on".

Sia bring something I never saw before, and it's already working. It's just a question of communication now.

that is usual business in cryptoland. When people lose money, they blame it on altcoin instead of their bad judgement. I suspect they bought recently after price increase.
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX [ICO] end of June: making Blockchain assets spendable on: September 01, 2017, 04:44:26 PM

This isn't a good news for any of these cryptocurrency debit card. I hope visa changes their mind in the future. I guess they're losing money.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 01, 2017, 04:32:10 PM
This can be interesting given there are other cannabis coins that aren't doing well. Hopefully, this will do well and other cannabis coins will be forced for improvement. I will keep an eye on this.
Yes, but how many Cannabis coins are there that are going to build physical, brick and mortar facilities, comply with each legal Cannabis states laws, and regulations, and network the entire Cannabis medical field, all on a blockchain? Their goals seem pretty realistic, plus they're backed by a well-known musician/celebrity (The Game), whose cultural influence is heavy within the urban communities.

The Game is definitely a great person to have in your team, he isn't constantly involved in legal troubles.. As I said, if anything good comes out of it I'll be happy, I won't be investing in ICO but I will keep an eye on afterwards.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the most promising Casino coin? on: August 31, 2017, 03:49:08 PM
I think Bitdice has huge potential given that it's a well known website, they've already raised $9.1 million and it ends on 15th. I've personally invested in it even though I would receive tokens from signature camp.

If you are not interested in ICO then there are plenty of options like Funfair etc

950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: August 31, 2017, 05:50:39 AM
I don't use BTC for gambling anymore because it's fee is too high and it's worth a lot at this point. I prefer using Doge or any other altcoin that isn't worth $300+, LTC is a good choice.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchange do you use? on: August 30, 2017, 01:43:07 PM
I think it's very important to use several exchanges to buy altcoins in order to minimize your risk. I use several of them, bittrex being most used since they've been around for a long time. liqui, hitbtc, livecoin, yobit.

If one of them go mtgox or cryptsy on me, I won't lose all of my investment.  Wink
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monaco or Tenx? on: August 29, 2017, 03:38:37 PM
I dont see much difference between Monaco and Tenx, what do you think is better to invest?

There is already one topic about this two coins

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2091358

came in to quote this. Majoriy of people went with Ten-X in that thread.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most likely pumps soon on: August 29, 2017, 03:35:45 PM
Any hope for Ripple? It gained some ground recently but dropped off again. Waves will definitely pump.

I think Ripple will cross $0.30 this month. It's already at $0.22 so not that far, it had to make correction after last pump but that's my hunch, take it with the grain of salt
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MANA]Decentraland Tokenized VIrtual Reality with Open Standards on: August 29, 2017, 03:26:24 PM
that was a quick ICO. How did so many people end up buying so quickly? it's listed on hitbtc but well overpriced than ICO price. I'm not even sure what went on with this one. Is there any way to purchase it?
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: would you keep all your altcoins or convert to btc for long term holding? on: August 29, 2017, 03:21:31 PM
keep some in altcoins and convert rest to bitcoin. I feel like converting them to bitcoin is safer than leaving them in altcoins but you have to take the risk but still not keep all of your eggs in one basket.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do to prevent bitcoin from crashing? on: August 28, 2017, 04:30:25 PM
I'm scared about the idea that Bitmain is holding a huge amount of BTC which they mined in the early years of ASIC mining equipment and that they will sell all their BTC at once, causing the most fatal crash in the complete history of BTC.

imho if they decide to sell, they won't sell it all at once. They would sell it few at a time over six months period. I'm not saying that' exactly how they would do it but that would be the smart way to do it unless they wanna lose money.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [DENT] Dent: Tokenizing and Liberating the World's Mobile Data on: August 28, 2017, 04:04:10 PM
Hi, http://www.b8wang.com  an Exchange in China to list DENT, deposits Saturday 11AM GMT+8, market opens at 11AM GMT+8 Sunday.
All news you need to read here https://twitter.com/dentcoin

So buy is not expensive yet. And then soon the price of a couple of cents will be. The project is developing and it is clear that someone is buying up all the tokens for nothing.

that exchange is non existing and very low volume. 85 BTC. I don't know if it would be good idea for them to get it on bigger exchange at this point. still waiting on something concrete
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Stox - Prediction market platform | Token sale has ended on: August 28, 2017, 03:38:09 PM
People being disappointed that Floyd didn't shill Stox during the fight... Well, this is just silly. The 1 billion dollar question here is not whether celebrities keep promoting it or not (I am sure they will), it's how soon Stox manages to find a new home, because 95% of the people who would potentially buy it will never go to liqui.

Yes, they should work hard to get it on bigger exchange where people can actually buy. Liqui and other exchanges it's listed on is too small. I like advertising and all but they should use that money to get it listed on something like trex.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which alts are most stable right now? on: August 25, 2017, 04:25:39 PM
Why don't you convert it to USDT? which is pegged to $1 USD, so you don't have to worry about it. ETH, LTC, Neo. They look stable but who knows where they will be in few weeks.

Why? Because as soon as you convert to FIAT, you are subject to taxes.

Unless I am missing something, Tether is not FIAT. Why would anyone be subject to taxes if they convert one altcoin to another?
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TenX vs. Monaco on: August 25, 2017, 01:42:09 PM
As most people have mentioned, I would go with TenX too. They have lowest fees compare to Monaco and other similar tokens, they're due for a pump in the near future. Monaco had a good run but I don't see it going anywhere and it's looking shaky at this point.
