Majority of the money with the rich is one of the reason why poor people stay poor forever. In most of the countries lack of infrastructure and improper management too a reason for the increasing number of poor people. Majority of people's spending happens with medical and educational needs. With good planning governments can avail it for free. Very few governments around the world does it perfectly. Next thing is the heavy taxation. The taxation is to support the life of the people. In the first match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals I predicted the match to be a win for Delhi Capitals because of its previous loss against Gujarat Titans which could've made them plan and execute things in a better way and win the match. Nothing happened good, and in the second match for some reason I thought CSK to win the match as both the teams are equally strong. In that match Mumbai Indians failed to make good runs, atleast it should've made 180+ runs. The target looked easy and the CSK players were quite confident.
I am hoping to see some good action in today's IPL matches. Since its Sunday, we are going to have two matches being played today. The first match will be played between Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders. The Gujarat Titans have won all two of their previous matches and hence they are likely to be favorites for this match. Anyhow Kolkata Knight Riders has played two and one of their two matches. In the other match today, Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Punjab Kings. Sunrisers Hyderabad hasn't won any of the matches and hence they desperately need a win tonight. On the other hand, Punjab Kings has won all of its matches and can be considered as a favorite to win today. Every Saturday and Sunday used to be completely packed day. These days IPL matches have given relaxation as we were able to watch it and have good time than spending the time watching some bollywood and Tollywood programs. Gujarat stands high winning all the matches played, and I find KKR as the winner in today's match. In the first match toss won't be a big factor. So, whether it is chasing the target or batting first KKR is strong enough with its bowling and batting line-up. In the second match Hyderabad needs to give some aggressive performance. According to experts it is good to bat first to have higher winning chance. So, winning the toss gets importance. Hyderabad needs to perform well, if not this would turn to be an one sided match. |

Why would a team be formed with foreign players? And why is there not a clear rule about that? As the sports body of cricket, ICC should concentrate on the most important thing for cricket, which is the survival of it. But it feels like Icc is not very worried about that. Otherwise, they should have made clear rules about it. There can be some foreign players on the national team. But it cannot be the whole 11 right? As per the changed eligibility criteria from the ICC, any foreigner residing in another country for more than 6 months, either on a tourist visa or a work visa is eligible to play for that country. And there is no limit on the number of foreigners as well. It is very much possible to form a national team with 11 foreigners and zero natives. That is how teams like UAE and Oman are having teams comprised solely of foreigners. And the funding is linked to the performance. Teams with native players get less funding, because they can't compete against first-class players from India and Pakistan. This is the criteria and the same is useful for the Arab nations. When we talk about UAE, almost 30% of the population is from India and next stands Pakistan with around 13% whereas the native population is around 12% for which it is possible to see high number of players in the UAE national team coming from both the countries. With Oman same is the scenario, Indian population is around 20% in Oman. With the increasing population in India we were able to see good number of people moving to Arab countries for their jobs as immigrants. This is how the players might've got into the national team. You are suggesting that teams such as Nepal and Namibia should pack their squads with foreigners from India and Pakistan and that will help them to win matches. But what is the point, if all the teams do that? There will be no diversity in cricket and it will become a game solely played by people of South Asian origin. Already the impact is being felt in countries such as Danmark and Netherlands. Previously these teams used to be comprised of mainly native players. But now the national team is mostly South Asian and as a result native children are rapidly losing their interest in the sport. In the long term, inclusion of foreign players do more harm than good.
Nepal and Namibia having good future in this game, and we can expect better results from Kenya and Zimbabwe as well, even it's not easy, but changes can happen any time in any team with better management and improved domestic setup. Some teams like Nepal ,Namibia and Zimbabwe are quite promising especially Zimbabwe cricket has improved a lot though they are yet to offer anything significant. But some players in their team are responsible enough to do better in contribution. On the other hand, the Nepal team has progressed quite a bit. Namibia Cricket has secured third place in ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off 2023. But they certainly deserve praise. Hope these three teams can do better in the future. Still expecting some competitive matches between all teams and you can never expect who'll move forward in ODIs . Chennai got a very easy win against Mumbai today. After the first match defeat, Chennai managed to get back on track quite well. And Chennai's overall performance in both matches was superb. However, the main hero of Chennai's victory in today's match was their bowlers. Jadeja in particular bowled brilliantly. He picked up three wickets for just 20 runs in 4 overs. Also, Ajinkya Rahane's performance impressed everyone today. He scored 61 runs off just 27 balls.
Mumbai has lost both their matches. In the first match, they lost against Bengaluru by 8 wickets. They were badly defeated in today's match as well. The condition of Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad is very poor this season. All these three teams will probably be at the bottom of the points table.
Both the matches were big loss. In today's match Chennai Super Kings showed the real ability of the team. The bowling is good, so is the batting. The early wicket of Devon gave a thought that Mumbai Indians would easily take the match under control. I just want to add that investing your spare money in BTC is always a good deal long term, but short term, it is not always so. Is there anyone else who didn't expect KKR to win yesterday's match with such a huge margin?  To be honest, though I had picked KKR, I was worried they might lose as their batting wasn't so good initially but then Gurbaz and Rinku managed to stabilize the innings and made a good partnership later accompanied by Shardul. Their bowling was on another level last night. I was both happy and surprised. My prediction was KKR, but I never expected this to happen this worse from RCB. Both the team were equally strong, but the quick runs of Shardul Thakur changed the match. If not, KKR would've made something around 160 runs and RCB would've chasen it as they don't experience pressure similar to the chasing of 200+ runs. In today's match I'm the only one to pick SRH as the winner. I believed the team would make a comeback as they lost the previous match badly. Finally they're the same as the first match. |

New to the test format cricket with very little experience and with majority of debut players is really appreciable. The team that is supposed to end the match with an innings loss have made a comeback. The target for Bangladesh is easy reachable and the team is close to the win losing two wickets. Bangladesh players weren't playing test cricket, they're playing ODI format cricket understanding that defensive technique might not be effective.
No doubt, full marks to Ireland for fighting back in second innings. Ireland lost 5 wickets for just 51 runs and it was expected that Ireland will lose by an innings but they gave a target of 137 runs. Bangladesh are chasing and score is 89 for the loss of 2 wickets. Overall it's a satisfactory performance from Ireland, they just need to focus on there batting. In second innings only 3 batsmen scored runs rest all team failed to score runs. Losing quick wickets without scoring runs is weakness of Ireland that is seen in this test. Watching the first innings it looked like the team had performed well. In the second innings Ireland have played better than the first innings. In any format of cricket the combined team effort is a must and the same ease the chance of winning. Even in this test match Ireland openers failed to contribute, if not this could've been a tough test match for Bangladesh. More the experience, better will be the performance and hope Ireland plays good cricket in its upcoming test format cricket matches. |

This can be termed an incredible comeback by Ireland. None of us had expected a team with 3 test debutants to play so well. Bangladesh again proving that they are the worst test playing team.
Ireland comeback is truly unexpected, but it doesn't mean that a team isn't capable to make a comeback for having some debutant players. The last time they played the test match almost 4 years ago. So, it is reasonable to see some debutant players in the team. Ireland has already taken the lead of 131 runs, the target could be more than 160 runs as they have still two wickets in hand. But I believe Bangladesh will win this match. When the third day of the match begun Ireland was 46/4 which made everyone think this to be a very bad loss for Ireland. From that point now Ireland have scored 286/8 which have made Ireland to lead by 131 runs. As said the team playing after a long gap and with more debutants won't be able to perform as they plan. As said something around 160 will be the lead and Bangladesh will win the match for sure. If the score reaches 200+ lead Bangladesh might struggle a little and win as the pitch could've changed. Soon after this test match Ireland have got test match against Sri Lanka in which the team might perform even better. |

The first match was very tight (decided in super over), but the second one (which New Zealand won) was completely one-sided. By the way, did any one noticed the new South African import in the New Zealand lineup? Chad Bowes moved to New Zealand from South Africa a few years back and yesterday he made a quickfire 31 for his adopted nation. The current New Zealand squad has another South African as well (Glenn Philips).
Chad Bowes have earlier captained the U-19 South Africa team. In the ODI series against Sri Lanka he had debut his ODI career for New Zealand and now he have got the opportunity to debut in T20. Glenn Phillips have born in South Africa, but he hadn't played for South Africa. He moved to New Zealand and played for the New Zealand U-19 team. Ireland is still trailing by 128 runs and they have lost 4 wickets in the second innings. Writing on the wall is clear. Ireland can't remain competitive without their main players such as Paul Stirling, Josh Little and Craig Young. They simply don't have depth in their player pool to perform without these players. The inclusion of Peter Moor hasn't helped things by much. He didn't contributed to anything in this test match so far for Ireland. The only Irish player who showed some fighting spirit was Harry Tector, who made 50 from 92 balls in the first innings.
After 50 in first innings Harry Tector is resisting hard as he has scored 43 runs on 132 balls, the highest runs in second innings. Ireland still trail by 62 runs and if Tector can bat till tea then there are bright chances that Ireland will avoid innings defeat. There are 6 players in Ireland side that are making debut in this test match. In start every team will perform like this, I think Bangladesh were also like this in start of there Test career. Its matter of time as your player get experience of how to play 5 days red ball match. Even the players who have played test cricket in the past doesn't have good experience as the team have played just 3 test matches. 6 debut players out of 11 stands high against the experienced ones. Atleast few of the players were doing good. Tector and Tucker are doing good, and I believe Ireland will avoid losing the match by an innings. |
