961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 26, 2023, 11:41:08 AM
Quitting gambling will be very hard. Yes, it's because of the gambler itself. That's why it's hard for them to stop gambling or betting. Even if they know the consequences or are suffering from the consequences, it's still hard for them to stop as it's not about addiction; it's about the gambling itself embedded in their mind and body, and that's what they long for. It's like a food that is very delicious and you can easily erase it from your taste.

That's why it takes a lot of effort and time for a gambler to fully quit and control themselves from gambling, as it can't be erased immediately or instantly. It will take a long time to process; it can take months or years for them to limit or fully control themselves from excessive gambling. Anyway its important for a gambler as early as possible to have control over their gambling.
962  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 26, 2023, 09:59:01 AM
Well, yes, but still, gambling is gambling. You still have the possibility to lose money, and that is a negative result that is inevitable with gambling, but with responsible gambling, you will limit the losses, control your expenses, and also maintain your mental health. That's why, yes, responsible gambling could give positive results to gamblers and the people around them. If only all gamblers would be responsible, then there would be no crimes related to gambling or gamblers committing crimes because they needed money or because of gambling, resulting in committing crime.

So no matter what they say, even if you are doing gambling stuff, as long as you are responsible, you are good. As long as you know yourself, you will not do anything negative or bad to yourself or to the people around you. That's why gamblers should always gamble responsibly and respectfully to avoid unnecessary circumstances and negative results.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch out! Blockchair has been hacked! on: December 26, 2023, 12:49:47 AM
How can you create an alarming topic without enough proof? I expect that I will read some useful information or more context in your text, but you only say that someone's address is appearing if you are pasting your address in the blockchair. That's nonsense. What is your reason for suspecting that the website has been hacked? In fact, your problem is so simple; maybe you just copied the wrong address or there was just a glitch in the website that was not necessarily hacked. Next time, before creating such an alarming topic about accusations of some website being hacked, gather information and proof that it is being hacked, because spreading false information about something that you are not sure about is not good.

You could ask first what the phenomenal is, not accusing right away or coming to a conclusion right away because it's not good for the community as you will raise an alarm.
964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of proper knowledge on casino games increases chance of loss and reduce fun on: December 25, 2023, 12:22:57 PM
Well, I think its a common thing, or its a common knowledge that if you don't know something then don't engage to it especially if it will cost you something, and of course it applies in gambling, I understand maybe you got excited about the casino game and its a bit easy just seeing but its not, you will need an idea, knowledge and knowing the rules is very important so that you will know where you will place your bet or do you think it is right to place your bet in this place or not, well what you've done is a common mistake of a beginner in a particular casino games but it can also serves as wake up call or realization for a gambler to analyze the games first and become too careful for its next bet or play, the important is you know what you've done and you learned from it.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 25, 2023, 08:20:20 AM
Well, it depends on the 2 perspectives that will determine if an unstable person could be doing gambling or not. One side is yes, they should not be allowed to play gambling as the word implies "unstable," meaning they are not in the right mind and right state to play gambling as they can't think straight, they could waste too much money, they cannot be controlled by anyone, and they could cause a ruckus in a casino or something, but this perspective is from someone in society.

But from the perspective of a casino owner, of course, business is business no matter what the state of a person or who he is. As long as he has money to play in a casino and could bring continuous profit for the owner, then it is also good no matter what. But in general, we know that we all have different perspectives or opinions on this, so no matter what answer we give, anyone could gamble, as each person has their own will and own rights.
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 25, 2023, 02:17:44 AM
If you are referring to a whole bitcoin, then yes, it's too expensive or the price is so high that you can't easily afford to buy and invest in it, but that's not where you can only invest in bitcoin; in fact, you can only bring a fraction of bitcoin or satoshi, so your $2k can be started as your investment; it doesn't have to be; you have to buy 1 BTC. No small investor can start with a fraction, and from that, you yourself will find the opportunity to earn.

That's why it's very important for new investors to invest in ideas and knowledge first before they can engage in investing. See your mindset. Most of the mindset of a beginner is being intimidated by the high price of bitcoin. You should explore more and gather knowledge from that. You will know that you can start small and that your skills will make your investment grow.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Physical and Online Gambling which makes a person more addicted on: December 24, 2023, 01:08:57 PM
I think it has been discussed this kind of topic in this section. Anyway, like I said in the similar topic, the addiction of one person depends on itself alone, whether it is a physical casino or an online casino. If a person is addicted or can be easily addicted to gambling, then no matter where he plays, he will still be addicted. The same level of addiction depends on the place where the gambler wants. The only advantage of online gambling is that, anywhere and anytime, a gambler could access the casino and play endlessly if he wants to.

Maybe people are coming to the conclusion that online casinos are more addictive for a gambler just because he can access them anywhere and anytime, but the thing is, the addiction starts and costs the gambler itself, so even if online casinos don't exist, they will make an effort and give time just to go to a physical casino and spend time and money there.
968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you use platforms offering AI help for crypto trading in 2024? on: December 24, 2023, 09:24:31 AM
Yes, if only AI or trading bot has atleast 95% accurate in trading and managing my money or profit, but if not then no, because at this point I still don't believe in the capability of those trading bots in managing the decision for trading or handling the decision for me, because even if the AI now a days seems more advanced and useful its still can't handle the unpredictable of the crypto market and as we know AI or artificial intelligence rely on information or data and market has no definite patter or movement so every time anything can happen in the market which is AI could not handle that's why I don't support using trading bots in this days and also it will make the traders, new traders to be specific to rely only on using this tool they should not be called as traders more or less just hunger for money.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if all Bitcoin is lost? on: December 24, 2023, 07:36:11 AM
What do you mean by lost? Lost in value or lost as in the bitcoin is lost because of sending in the wrong address? Well, if its about lost in value, well, let's take, for example, what happened in other coins. Of course, bitcoin will only lose its value if no more investors are coming in or no circulation is happening in the market, meaning many investors sell their bitcoin and more and more supply of bitcoin and low demands mean the price will drop. That's when the value of bitcoin will be lost, and based on the current state of bitcoin, I find hard to imagine that it will lose its value.

About the loss of bitcoin due to uncertainty, if a bitcoin wallet gets thrown or is lost, then all of bitcoin will be like that. I don't think it is possible because, remember, there is still a lot of unmined bitcoin. Even if a lot of bitcoin has been lost, it is still to be mined and circulated in the market.
970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin will bring you hope and gambling will leave you destitute. on: December 24, 2023, 04:20:21 AM
If the person I am referring to had not gambled in online casinos and invested this amount of money in bitcoins, he would have made a substantial half profit today, even after paying off his debts.
Doing the right thing is not as easy as doing the wrong thing. Gambling is fun, investing in bitcoins is no fun, so you will see more people who will consider gambling faster than they would consider investing in bitcoins. Gambling can also be a way to make quick money, Investment is a slow process. There are many impatient people who cannot wait for their investment to give them profits, so they just choose the fast way which is to gamble their way to profit. It doesn't end up that way for all gamblers, many just like the person in the story in trying to make money from gambling end up running into losses.

These 2 options will give you different results if you handled it in a contained manner especially gambling.
You will enjoy gambling if you are just playing for entertainment and is just using spare money.
But when you start loaning money, that's when you will start to have problems after problems.
And so with investment in btc, if you happen to borrow money and lose in the process, it is the same as gambling.
So if you will venture in these 2 activities, you will have less problems if you are spending the money that you can afford to lose.
Investing in bitcoin and gambling is quite the same, why? Simple, because investing in bitcoin is risky and dangerous if it isn't handled with care, proper experience, and knowledge. It's like gambling your capital on something, but that something has a higher chance of earning than pure gambling, as if you have the necessary equipment, tools, and knowledge in bitcoin, you can earn as much as you want, unlike in gambling, where the odds of earning are not that huge. You are more likely to lose money than to profit, which will bring you more misery. So if you have a wise mind and good decision-making, you will choose to gamble in bitcoin, not in gambling. You can play gambling, yes, but keep in mind that the assurance or profit will never be yours. Gambling will give you money at some point, but the losses if you look back are far greater.
971  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: December 23, 2023, 10:28:38 PM
Trading that is done because we want to get rich quickly will not be good where we only think about profits without thinking about the risks of each trade, even when the market supports it, sometimes we still have to suffer, for me a loss of 1-5% and a profit of 5-10% is enough and You have to prepare mentally and capital
Trading will never be a quick rich scheme as the OP said, that's why we can't believe about the other influencers that show casing their luxurious life brought by trading, because they making trading as easy as it looks to attract a lot of investors that could avail their services but in the end its not that easy, even if they will provide signals with not enough experience and analysis a trader will never wins or gain from those signals, maybe if they let the influencer to handle their account and funds so that they can do the trade, but the thing is the share of profit they are asking is too much, so no matter what you cannot become rich quickly in trading, even if experienced traders for almost a lot of years still can't get rich in trading, yes they can gain money from it but becoming rich is very hard.
972  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 23, 2023, 01:55:32 AM
Reviews are very essential for a person, especially for casino reviews, because in that way you will see the pros and cons of the particular casino website, which will help people, potential gamblers, and investors decide if they will trust this particular casino or not. But as we know, not all reviews are legit; some may be made up by the casino itself to raise their ratings. Well, it's part of their marketing strategy; we can't argue with that. The only thing we can do is read more and more reviews about the specific casino and distinguish what is made up or not, so it will help us decide whether to trust this casino or not. Also, reviews by other users will help us see if there are suspicious features or rules in that casino to avoid inconvenience and to avoid casinos that have a bad reputation or bad handling of their customers.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do casino owners benefit from creating multiple casinos? on: December 22, 2023, 11:01:06 PM
I guess those casino owners could be the only ones to give a perfect answer for this, as they are the only ones who have the perfect explanation for their actions.

Either their first casino is not getting the attention they want, no money is coming through it, or they need to add something that they think is a total new idea that requires a new casino, which could lead to starting a new one, or it could also be because the old one is losing reputation and they need something new in order to stay relevant in the system.

Whatever the case, their primary objective is always to increase their revenue, and almost every businessman will employ any strategy to attract those customers who will patronise and add to their wealth.
True, only those owners could know that or what kind of strategy they are using, but if one thing is for sure, they are doing this to make more invome multiple platforms, which means multiple incomes. We know that gamblers like to play in different casinos to have different experiences, fun, and thrills. That's why they tend to find other casinos that could suit their taste, and I think that's what the casino owners are aiming for. Even if one customer leaves one of their casinos, it will end up in their casino as well.

And I think they also do this to have different connections; many connections mean smooth business and more income to come as they could meet huge personalities that have a high position in society. In that way, their business will prosper and they will earn more and more income.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers trickily claims they wins the bet while they never did. on: December 21, 2023, 09:18:02 AM
Same goes to not all here atating abour gambling stuffs has ever done gambling, lets be really some users might using this platform for their business or what or some might just attracting potential investors to their websites or players to their casino sites. That's why it is very important that we always verify before we believe into something. We can see a lot of examples that their experience or winnings are good to be true or even a topic about gambling that looks like a made-up story, but we can never know if its true if we will not verify them or them showing some proof.

And I know we have a lot of cases here where someone is making claims about someone's winnings, which they only get from someone or they only see on the internet or social media platforms. We don't know why they are doing this, but yeah, reality hits. There are some users here who are stating a lie about gambling winnings, etc.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: December 21, 2023, 04:13:26 AM
Its like the picture shown saying is "gamble or bet even if you don't have money, loan and loan until you win." That we know is not the case. Taking a loan to be used for gambling or betting is the worst because you only make things worse. At that point, it is not fun anymore; it is more like a suicide, not even an addiction. Imagine you having no more money, then keep on loaning and loaning just to hope that you will win someday, which will make you more broke, and worst case, you might encounter more problems beyond gambling addiction. You see, a loan is a very dangerous thing. What if the app or person you ask for a loan could take precautions and threaten you so you will pay your debt?

If in this phase you will say or someone will say that it is fun, then you are crazy. How could you have fun if you know you have loans to pay and keep on losing money because of your friends hobbies? No, it is not, and it will never be fun at all.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin create an opportunity to reduce poverty? on: December 21, 2023, 03:22:27 AM
It depends on the people, people who're in the poverty state of human society; not all people have the capability to give time and effort to learn something new like bitcoin or crypto currency. So even if yes, bitcoin could help those people in poverty, if they don't do this stuff or have patience to learn this stuff, then it will never help them. That's why I said it depends on the people themselves. For example, if a family is living on a street, do you think they will have the capability to do bitcoin stuff? Even if they want, they can't because of their incapability, so it's rather safe to say that bitcoin being a supplement or help to people will depend on the capability of the person. If they can have access to the internet or a device that they can use to study these things, remember that if they don't start or if they can't start to do bitcoin stuff, then they will never be helped to survive or change their lives.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling ever whispered you with different strategic prediction measures? on: December 20, 2023, 10:29:20 AM
I don't think you will call it a strategy; closing your eyes before you hit the slots will only show that you are desperate to win and avoiding reality for a few seconds. Does anyone here actually win doing that? Maybe there are some, but still, it's only a matter of probability that you win. Of course, if this is how the gamblers will be comfortable playing slots, then there's nothing wrong with it; we can never call it a strategy at all.

I admit that I also use this method because we are only humans hoping to use different methods but don't have a hope that you will actually win because it will only bring pain and regret, and also because you will keep on doing that aimless thing without noticing. Instead of doing this, only play slots in a machine 1-3 times because maybe you are not in a position to win.
978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is digital currency powerful? on: December 20, 2023, 06:23:45 AM
Everyone talks about digital currency being powerful. I think they already mentioned why it is powerful. Let's talk about how digital currency, or crypto currency, helps people or investors. Although investing in crypto currency is risky and hard because you will need to learn first to ensure that you will earn from it, cryptocurrency has given many opportunities to people who want to earn online. Since the start of bitcoin, the first crypto currency, many people have changed their lives instantly as they ride the biggest movement and flip of the bitcoin price. Cryptocurrency is so powerful that it can give a lot of opportunities and profit to many people. They just have to do their part—their part of learning and gaining experience and knowledge from it. Investing in cryptocurrency is no joke. One wrong decision or movement will cost you a lot, so beginners should always prioritise their knowledge before rushing to earn it.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: December 19, 2023, 08:37:30 AM
I think OP just got carried away on his conversation with the friend. Maybe with a bit if a show off haha why would you show someone how much bitcoin you have, considering that is a friend you havent seen in a while.

To be honest, i wont talk about money to someone i havent met for a long time. Not everyone's comfy talking about money, and it could create weird vibes or even stir up unexpected expectations. Plus, you never know who's listening, right? Keep it lowkey and chat about crypto without turning it into a wallet show and tell. It's safer and you won't accidentally make things awkward.
You do have a point. Maybe the OP became too excited or got into a deep conversation with his friend. Based on his story, maybe that's the case, but the thing is, I don't know. I don't want to judge the OP. Maybe it's a little bit too much to show your friend all your assets because, although it's your friend, he may have an interest in your wealth or assets, or out of envy, he will sabotage you. But yeah, I'm here not to judge, but to give my opinion. Next time, don't just show off your assets. Yes, you could mention that to them, but don't literally show how much you have or the exact amount because it's still much better if you are on lowkey.

Anyway, its your own life. I'm sure many here have also had violent reactions to your bragging or being a show-off. It's not a bad idea to know that you are doing crypto currency or bitcoin stuff, but literally showing your assets is what's bad.
980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Target your wins in a series of bets on: December 19, 2023, 06:26:03 AM
I don't think this approach works as how OP said it. Sometimes, out of 10 games, you'll get 5, 10, or even more lose streak depending on your luck. So the title is a little confusing as to how will you target your wins in a series of bets. If you want less stress or pressure when gambling, gamble smart, manage your bankroll wisely. Don't focus to much on winning or even chasing your losses. Trust your gut feeling and luck and stay disciplined get out with even little profit when you can.
I agree. I think it's best to not aim for or set an expectation or goal of a desired number of wins because, as long as you don't get that number of wins, you will not stop playing until you notice that you are losing and losing more money. I think it's best that, for example, you limit yourself to betting on 10 bets only, and no matter what the result is, like 5-5 or 9-1 wins or losses, you will accept it even if the majority of the bets are majority. In that way, you will minimise your losses and will not overspend or lose control over the bets.

You are right; don't focus on the winnings alone. Also, don't always monitor your winnings; just keep on betting based on your number of sets of bets. I do this kind of method by setting up a set of bets, and whether I win or lose doesn't matter; I will accept it.
