Globalcoin could be offered for burn exchange to BARR, on a voluntary basis and only for those who choose to burn their coins.

Anybody who wants to keep their GLC could carry on however they want, with a lower supply because of the holders who burned theirs.

All Globalcoin users are welcome to comment, here's our ANN:

Ive tried 3 pools:
dmdpool.digsys.bg
us.miningfield.com
dmd.cryptopools.com
but all 3 are giving me a very high (almost 50%) connection failure rate when trying to submit.
Are there any good pools for the western US which have good connectivity?
I don't think it's my end, because when I run grosestl coin it has good connectivity with less than 1% failure.

Have you ruled out the possibility that it's a latency issue?

Ive not ruled anything out, since I really don't know for sure how all the pieces play together.
The only thing I do know is that groestl coin works with very few "failure", while all the DMD pools I have tried (above) have very high failure rates, around 50%...
I would love do discover a fix for this, since I would like to acquire DMD and not GRS or other coins at this time.

If you mined diamonds in solo POW mode, you could see that there are no problems with the mining (the wallet is absolutely normal function)..
So it is possible that your problem is due to the small capacity of your video card and pool settings.
It is also possible that the version sgminer not always compatible with different drivers

I am always surprised that people were sitting with their coins and waited.
But when they saw the growth of Bitcoins they urgently wanted to sell their coins.
It's a  classic hamster behavior  Cheesy The buy expensive and sell cheap

Glad to see DMD still going strong and the community continuously growing bigger and bigger cause DMD is definitely a stay strong and stay long coin that is here for the long haul Smiley Cheers

In fact, it is not surprising that people are gradually beginning to trust the reliable and secure digital assets for which the state is not controlled.
If you look at what is happening in Russia for example https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/russian-finance-ministry-proposes-a-4-yr-prison-sentence-for-bitcoin-users/
you'll see how the authorities are afraid that people will begin to transfer their savings in cryptocurrency actives.
This is understandable, because their money printing house runs without stopping.
Every day there is a large mass of new banknotes.
Some people do not think about it, but the time will come when they realize that the state  never interested in the wealth of its citizens.
They want  the slaves with huts, but not  wealthier residents.
965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose to put 5 BTC into 1 BTC investment, what would that be? on: October 27, 2015, 09:59:15 AM
I'd put everything into NXT coin. Hard to see it not doubling in the next 6 months

Why NXT coin? I thought of playing a bit with NXT asset exchange but NXT coin seems nothing special to me.

This is why:

Wow guys you are awesome, I`m so excited that I can almost fly! Cheesy

Look here:
http://nxt.org/about/monetary-system/

NXT can create on itself tons of altcoins, I mean just imagine the possibilities. Right now people create shitty altcoins, and it costs really a lot to set up the mining system and whatnot. So by doing this instead they can just spend 25000 NXT (0.625 BTC to avoid spam) and create their own altcoin.

So we could have all new altcoins in NXT, and when people buy them, they have to buy NXT first.

This will create a huge influx of demand for NXT , and it will all be in 1 place, so no need to keep 1000 blockchains on the PC and waste HDD space. You need 1 NXT account and have access to thousands of altcoins.

I think the Tenessee guys have to focus on this feature, since they can theoretically bring an influx of 10-20 BTC/ altcoin /day demand into NXT.

If we have 1000 altcoins thats 1000 x 10 BTC /day = 10,000 BTC /day demand for NXT

Crappy altcoins on yobit get 10-20 BTC funding each day, so NXT can do much better than that. It can skyrocket, so please highlight the monetary system, because its one of the most amazing things of NXT!

Stay strong! Cheesy

If done right, NXT should really reach the moon.

I wonder where will get to the moon coin which was initially 100% premine?
I think everybody knows that all this coins NEXT a have been created one stroke of the pen.
Most of the coins are still in the hands of a few people.
A small part of the coin was distributed through forums and spent on bribes for exchanges (to add for the traders) In addition, the addresses of NEXT are more vulnerable than the other alternative addresses coins.
Read this article http://www.bitcoinnotbombs.com/bitcoin-vs-the-nsas-quantum-computer/ (in the case of vulnerability ECDSA component developers can not change NEXT) in general have a lot of other interesting coins which not have premine and more secure, and most importantly they bring more income Wink

As you need a minimum of coins to activate the POS ?
"not minting because you dont have mature coins"

All you need is to buy 1000 diamonds and put them in your wallet.
After 10 days, to unlock your wallet for the POS mining and start getting income.
Each 1000 coins you will have ~ 10 DMD in the week  Wink
As far as I know, there is no minimum limit for POS mining.
But if you have in your wallet less than 100 coins, you'll have to wait much longer to find POS block.

after selling 100k+ coins price is in stagnation Sad
now the price could be .0035-.005

someone can prompt a gadget on a desktop for tracking price of DMD?

Why do you think that the stabilization of prices is bad?
The answer is simple - Most people not ready to sell their diamonds at such a low price.

Hi.
It assumed there any change in this coin (total 123 million coins in the system and clean POW), or it will remain a ordinary coin with sonorous name?

I have no problem with verification. I dont see why anyone dealing with crypto in a legit way would have problem with verification. Anonymity s absolutely the biggest deficiency of crypto. It only attracts scammers and thievs. Why would we want ti deal with those kind of people? If u havent done anything wrong, what s the problem?

Most will verify, and there is no problem if you recognize why it is being done.
It is not about you being anonymous , as much as it is being about the US Government wanting to know exactly how much crypto , you have in your possession, so that they can sometime soon in the future file taxes and fines against you. If we are lucky , then they will inform the public ahead of time, if not they will make it retroactive and hit everyone with a large bill. Question that really is interesting , is if you are not a US citizen , will you pay when they tax you.   Tongue
US Gov has programs underway to register everything of value now, even down to if you own a chicken. The only reason they need all of that info , is if they are planning one day to confiscate those items , when fiat fails.

 Cool

FYI:
I personally believe Crypto should only be taxable when converted to Fiat, up until that time, you are like a Gambler that has not left the table.
All World Govs should stay out of the virtual world, as their greedy regs can kill it.
Real Point is , if you are a Russian, German, or Chinese Citizen , do you feel the US has a right to know your financial worth.
(See how well it worked out for Kim Dotcom)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Dotcom

FYI2:
The required info of Name & Birthday allows the US Gov to cross reference your Social Security # from their records.
So when you give cryptsy your birthday , you might as well give them your social, because they already have it.

I think that the cryptsy would look  how people react to their new rules.
If they see that the majority of people just leave their trading platform from a desire to be verified, they will have to move to another place, where there are no such rules for the traders and buyers.
And any verification by restricting the imposition of a withdrawal is a step for collapse.
We have already seen how Mtgox walked this path and how it all ended.
They also insisted on the verification of customers but it did not help.

The fact that they organize pump for paycoin after the desire to file lawsuits against them and accused of fraud, only confirms this way.

кто-то из русскоязычных уже прошёл верификацию первого уровня на Cryptsy?

P.s If you want an alternative exchange - vote https://forum.bits.media/index.php?/topic/12748-livecoinnet-opros-kakie-monety-nuzhny/page-9 for the add the diamond for a traders.

Yes, unfortunately cryptsy impose restrictions.
If you remember my past statement https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580725.msg7567832#msg7567832 about the fact that they are on track Mtgox then maybe there is some truth.
I think that now more trading volume on the move bittrex.

I do not know what this man says..
Cryptsy possible that participated in the fraud for paycoin and adding for trades their own, pocket coins (ZRC, RDD, Points) but today, I have no problem in outgoing transactions the purchased diamonds.

We need only time and joint efforts.
Just spend at least half an hour a day, and  say the people on various forums about the diamond.
The coin has 50% of annual income is unlikely to be traded in large quantities in the near future.
It is much more profitable to sell a small portion of their the POS income than  try to trade using large volumes.
Moreover, the storage of large amounts of coins on the stock exchange it is not safe.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Flycoin *PRESSTAB WALLET* (50% POS). Only 160k coins! $400,000 Market cap! on: October 13, 2015, 12:18:01 AM
I respect the developers of different coins, but nevertheless I want to say.
Why do some developers still continue to create coins with a 100% premine** ?
They are trying to replicate the success of other coins and distribute their empty coins through various forums, leaving most of the coins in his pocket, in the hope that after a while people will forget about the fact that the creation of these coins in the air and begin to buy them?
Is it looks your way to success?
If your coin would be fair, your path would start from scratch. not premine** and not mineable* without artificial capitalization.
Just look at the site http://coinmarketcap.com/all/views/all/ you see how many of these have already been created ** and * coins
Not really You want to find another bunch of people who want to give their Bitcoins for bright wrappers from candy eaten by you?

Yes, I see the diamond even managed to press the capitalization of such a monster from the past as Feathercoin and Infinitecoin.
and as we have seen, the case at these types POW  coins are not very good..

If you look at the site http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/filter-non-mineable/
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose to put 5 BTC into 1 BTC investment, what would that be? on: October 12, 2015, 02:51:07 AM
I think that the net POW mining will gradually recede into the past.
This market is too risky that would invest their money in it.
The market cloud mining a promise to high income, but if you look at the actual payment and to take into account the degree of risk, it becomes clear that it would be a bad investment.
On the other hand, purchase of mining equipment, also carries significant risks. every six months, new chips more effectively the previous several times.
Furthermore, the content farm requires constant monitoring and large amounts of electricity.
Against this background, it is clear that much more interesting to buy tens of thousands of POS coins bearing a high annual income and receive from that a percentage.
However, 5 Bitcoins today it is not so much money that can be considered an investment volume package..

Nice to see that people are beginning to realize, it's nice to be a major owner of a large number of Diamonds and stably to have POS mining every day.
And for that it is unnecessary to purchase expensive equipment that produces a lot of noise and heat.
10,000k diamonds will bring you 14 DMD every day. This is equivalent to bulk mining Asic farm  Wink
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INFINITECOIN - UPDATE TO 1.8.8 visit INFINITECOIN.COM on: October 11, 2015, 09:48:15 PM
It seems what the low price Infinitecoin it's bad.

At such a low POW reward and lowest price, another fork can happen at any time..

I think that the main problem is too many coins in the system

hey guys, how would I move my wallet to another machine and still keep my stake weight?

Of course - any movement of your file wallet.dat between different computers will not affect your profit through POS mining (unless you use the outbound transaction from your wallet)
