I hope the wallet is better than your timing...

It looks like its not happening tonight. EDIT: Maybe i was wrong, hes online! EDIT2 : I can run 10+ super nodes, i suggest you compress the blockchain and put it up online so i can get them ready for launch. i'll provide ips via pm.

I'm seeing hundreds of amazon IPs connected to my node I pitty the fool spending $$$ on this shit coin.. EDIT:...and what is wrong with the algo, 15min block than BAM, 4 blocks in a row in under 2 minutes... diff retargeting obviously not working .

I doubt relaunch will happen anytime soon, slimcoin would have confirmed the date had he fixed all wallet issues what were the chances this would be next lol : Reverse psychology slimcoin dev is soo predictable
|
|
|
Relaunch will happen tomorrow at approximately 12pm GMT.
Current GMT time is 03:41am. Launch in 9 hours ?

Blockchain Explorer Now Up!!!I just got a blockchain explorer up: http://shinychain.org/ . It includes an electrum-like wallet which I tested can send and receive coins properly. How are you affiliated with the dev ? Are you the dev ? or just a minion ? EDIT : Oh you are the dev., you forgot to log in/out I'm as much the dev as instacash and sandor111. I like the idea behind the coin and clearly it needs some help. Only an idiot would put coins on your online wallet... So how many did you put in? Another DEV account with posts only in this thread.

Post your cpu specs and total ram
|
|
|
Set running with ramhogthreads=2. RAM use slowly climbs up to almost 32GB, but CPU use jumps about between 9-100% which is a bit more than I saw before.
"hashespermin" : 17 up from previous 12
Exactly. Dev does not know what he is doing... 24h after launch, issues so far: initial difficulty too high, hard fork at block 8, 100% cpu utilization possible only with 32GB ram...
|
|
|
Proof regarding my CPU utilization claim few posts up :
Server i7 4770 (4 cores / 8 threads), 32GB ram
ramhogthreads=1 [root@CentOS-65-64-minimal .shinycoin]# ./shinycoind getmininginfo { "blocks" : 149, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00000122, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : 1, "hashespermin" : 25, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false }
ramhogthreads=2 [root@CentOS-65-64-minimal .shinycoin]# ./shinycoind getmininginfo { "blocks" : 149, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00000122, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : 2, "hashespermin" : 37, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false }

Windows 7 32GB available, using 18.6 GB
Started with 'setgenerate true -1' but is not using all 24 cores ~ usage jumps around a lot, but possibly averaging 50%
16:57:44 getmininginfo
16:57:44 { "blocks" : 138, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00000132, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespermin" : 12, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false }
Is this right?
Yes, that looks correct. ShinyCoin uses 16 scratchpads which are generated in parallel, but the final step requires all scratchpads to be in memory at once. If -ramhogthreads is 1, then it will only use 16 cores efficiently. If you have enough ram for -ramhogthreads to be 2, then it will use up to 32 cores efficiently. WRONG. I too am getting 50-60 CPU utilization when using 1 thread on a 8core system.

Gatra, how are you affiliated with bitmixer.io ? I wish i had more coins to 'mix'

Come on, slimcoin dev, launch today and make my day!!
