Took a look at the pool:

Code:
Total Blocks     Pending     Confirmed     Orphaned
777                18            586             6

Shouldn't 'total blocks' be the sum of the other three numbers?

Haven't you read sandors tearms of service ?? Every 5th block goes to him for development + 5% for hosting expenses Smiley

LMAO! Link? Usually, you know, every fucking web service in the known internet posts the ToS on site! He could strip the NOMP project info from the footer, but could not add the ToS there? The 'getting started' page still states 1% fees!! So, every 2000 mined coins 480 coins go to his bag? 24% fee! For so many days so many blocks were not confirmed most probably due to his fucking coding mistakes. We've wasted so much hashrate! Now that he has most probably fixed his stupidities, he collects 24% fees for having wasted our hash rate instead of reducing the fees for compensation!!!! This guy is the most unreliable and untrustworthy piece of garbage I've ever seen!!! I wonder why people still mine on his pool! They'll make more profit if they solo mine at this diff! Ahhh crap, it's disgusting! The sooner this coin breaks free from this bastard, the sooner it will become interesting again.

Hahaha, its was a joke man Smiley

Cheesy You almost made me want to bang this dude on the floor man!

Sorry i was bored Smiley

I take that double space observation really seriously.

I cannot go through more bullshit in this thread. I've read enough of that already from that exclusive pool operator wannabe.

PS: Seriously, a big fat WTF for this thread! I never understood why things are done in the most weird possible way here... Not good for the coin and the community of investors. Unless this coin was created for the laughs. Who knows...

Uhuh I doublespace and mine therefore I am the Dev, and laxori and altcoiner and whoever else.  Its not bad logic I suppose.  Interestingly enough though I am not sunnyprince or anyone else here.  Did primer really create new accounts "just for laughs" to create these accusations?  It is kind of funny I suppose but certainly not good for the coin and for someone who owns quite a bit its absolutely fuckin retarded.  Does primer want to accuse people into submission and giving him bitcoin or annoy people into submission?  I don't understand besides your sick sadistic pleasures what is the fucking point honestly.  Were you really neglected that much that this is the only way you get attention?  You now created an account just to point out some doublespace shit and say aha and show how smart you are.  Very good primer
very good.  Bravo you've won the assanine battle of stupidity enough that people think your theory is accurate.
There are no people here except for you, 700years,couple of lurkers and I. Coin is dead and there is nothing we can now do about it.
So sell me all your coin, give me a real price

7BTC for 100k , last offer. I've already written off the investment, if i dont sell at this price well too bad.

There is always a possibility that it gets taken over by a competent developer, if that happens its going to the moon as the only cpu (botnet resistant) algo !
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] Prypto Partnership --- Donate to Exhumed Race game on: July 13, 2014, 07:40:33 AM

unfortunately botnet ops wouldn't even need to hack the wallet with this idea.  They'd just have to create a payload that deployed a headless version of the wallet, created an address, started mining, and then use the api to send the funds back home.  It would take a tiny bit of scripting.

also, if it had some kind of ram requirement (like 16gb) it would only work with 64bit systems, with enough memory.  Not a solution for everyone...

I like your spirit though:)

Take a look at shinycoin wallet, it requires 15gb for mining but not for syncing/normal use. Would love to see MYR implement the algo.

because everyone has 16G+ ram computers and runs 64 bit oses ... right ...

15G ram eliminates botnet mining. You can still run the wallet on an old x86 box with 1gb ram but you wont be able to mine..

I have 32gb of ram, but I don't have 15gb to throw away for mining... I actually use my ram.
Good, now go jump off the bridge..

614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Slimcoin : Proof of Burn NEW BLOCK GEN, Mineable by low power computer! on: July 12, 2014, 09:59:48 PM
There is a blockchain explorer which clearly states that PoB blocks are being found. If you have orphans, send me your debug.log file so I can see why/if this orphaning is a bug or not.

Orphans are not the problem its the client going out of sync with the network thus not minting any blocks.

I have 3 linux qt clients, 3 windows clients and 20 linux clients minting PoB, guess what, at this very moment 9 are out of sync. Big ? if others are synced, although they do show the correct height.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Slimcoin : Proof of Burn NEW BLOCK GEN, Mineable by low power computer! on: July 12, 2014, 09:58:05 PM
something is fishy with POB, the number of Blocks went down

i'm will stop the burning.. it's just like burning real money

It took you a long time to figure out. I noticed it was broken couple hours after launch. I burnt 9k couple of days ago because there was no point dumping on bter for peanuts.

the coin memory need....too big
You don't have machine with 16gb?
Funny thing is you can get by with only 16gb if you run Linux. Maybe Dev punished windows users by picking that exact number.

Altcoiner is yet another dev alter ego. Take a look at his post history. Double space after punctuation mark on all posts but the last one  Grin  Grin

EDIT: Altcoiner account created one day before the launch. His first post :

Unbelievable! Why do people bother to create new coins? 99% of them would not survive to be widely accepted.

617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Wolf's XMR/BCN/MNT CPUMiner - 2x speed compared to LucasJones' - NEW 06/20/2014 on: July 12, 2014, 09:28:21 PM

Oh, I see. Odd... maybe the older CPUs did hyperthreading better?

Maybe. Newer CPUs definitely dont like the default -t option.

I'm also getting a %10-%20 difference on a i7 4770 (210-230 when using -t 7 compared to 265-280 when using -t 4).

618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Wolf's XMR/BCN/MNT CPUMiner - 2x speed compared to LucasJones' - NEW 06/20/2014 on: July 12, 2014, 09:19:12 PM
I'm getting different results when running the miner on all threads vs only physical cores.

On newer CPUs i'm getting up to 50% more power when running only on physical cpu cores. On older CPUs (also with AES) i get 50% less when using only physical cores.
Why is this ?

That isn't obvious? Newer CPUs tend to be faster, and I don't mean in terms of clock speeds. They improve shit like out of order execution, speculative execution, branch prediction...

I think you misunderstood my post, example below :

dual E5-2620 (12 cores/24 threads)

-t 23 (default when run without -t tag) does around 310H/s
-t 12 (physical cores) does around 390H/s

Dual E5620 (8 cores/16 threads)
-t 15 (default when run without -t tag) does around 150H/s
-t 8  (physical cores) does around 100H/s

EDIT:Dual E5620 figures might not be correct, i performed tests earlier today (couple hours) and no longer have access. Difference was 50%

What is it with PoB orphans? WHY do i only find orphaps ??

another one

I got 3 orphans today and only 4 PoB blocks accross 15k burnt coins total!
