Things are going on really bad for Newcastle. They can't win a league game for four weeks first of all. When I look at the matches, I can say that the favorite teams for me to make it through the round are as follows.
Union Berlin,Fenerbahçe,Juventus,Leverkusen,Arsenal,United,Roma and Feyenoord.
I think that these teams will be the teams that will make the round from the matches. This is my current opinion, there may be injured players according to the match time.
Union Berlin wasnt a favorite in the duel against Ajax but they played really good and deserved to win and advance into the next stage. Leverkusen also barely passed Monaco over penalties and really got lucky in the end. Still will be intresting to see who will win it all. |

honestly i had expectations that braga could have won that game and that they would be able to move on to the next stage, but for some reason i don't know braga became a very inconsistent team, it doesn't seem like the same team that a few weeks ago managed to be consistent, if they were the same braga from weeks ago they would have won that game, but unfortunately they are at a time when they are not a good option to bet on them in European competitions, well they have already been eliminated, but even in the Portuguese league I will avoid betting on them

What I can say, MU deserved to reach next round. Another season in Europe to forget for Barca. In first hal everything looked OK more or lesa, but second half was very solid from MU, Barca had nothing to offer against them. Maybe Pedri and Gavi wouldn't saved us, but their absense was big factor.
Monaco - Bayer, this pair was crazy roller coaster, nothing surprising that winner of it was decided in penalty shootout. Congrats to Bayer.
What did I said about PSV - Sevilla? PSV was indeed close to make a comeback, but de Jong goal was cancelled after VAR review. And when they scored second goal it was too late already.
Very interesting game between Union and Ajax. This season European campaign for Ajax is complete disaster. And now we still have Extra Time between Rennes and Shakhtar.
Barcelona had a lead and they even had a momentum in this match but just wasnt able to keep up the entire match with Man Utd. Man Utd are playing really good this year and i think they can win the entire thing after beating one of the main favorites for the title. |

CFR Cluj doesn't seem to have the good skills to be able to beat big teams in events like this, because Lazio, which looks like they are only maintaining an aggregate win, but CFR Cluj still can't make a shot on target. Therefore, attack after attack that was built by CFR Cluj really couldn't provide a good ending.
But yes, it looks like Lazio also doesn't have big ambitions to win this match, because even though Lazio can control the match well, Lazio doesn't score in this second leg and yes, Lazio still qualify for the next round.

Regarding the match between Ajax and Union Berlin, so far the game is 3-1 and Union Berlin could score three goals in this game. Since Ajax is a famous and strong football team, most fans even expected to see this team win the game against Union Berlin.
At least, Berlin has the advantage when they play on their own turf. And they were able to optimize the match with a temporary score of 3-1. In this match, Ajax actually dominated the game, but unfortunately they were less effective in carrying out attacks and pressure. So that even now they have not been able to add to the number of goals again. While they have missed 2 goals. We are getting close to the end of extra time in the Monaco vs Leverkusen match now. To be honest I wasn't expecting Leverkusen to be this much determined to eliminate Monaco in France. Because we have all seen the first leg in the end. Leverkusen had quite big issues with their defending and this cost them really high. After losing home it was much more difficult for them to make a comeback.
But there have been a quite different Leverkusen in the current match so far. They were nearly finishing the job in regular time but the goal came in the last minutes saved Monaco some more time. Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen really want to do their best in the Europa League now.
Still the same result in extra time and it looks like we probobly see penalties in this duel between these two teams. But an amazing first leg and now an even more intresting second match. Leverkusen playing better in the second match but still need a goal to finish this before penalties. |

What a dissapointment from Partizan they just lost a won duel they had 0-1 from previous match in the 1st leg and in the second leg they had a lead of 1-0 and were able to drop it all at home and lose 1-3 and get knocked out. Big shame from my team hopefully we get a new ownership because this is just a scanadal for us

The start of the round of 16 which in my opinion is a bit strange, because no English representative has won in the first leg of the last 16 of the Champions League this season:
Borussia Dortmund vs Chelsea 1-0
AC Milan vs Tottenham 1-0
Liverpool vs Real Madrid 2-5.
RB Leipzig vs Manchester City 1-1
but the draw in the first leg still has a chance in the second leg, unless Liverpool is just a miracle for Liverpool to be able to turn things around in the second leg at home to Real Madrid.
All other england teams except Liverpool have a decent chance to turn it around and pass into the next stage. The best chances Man City has ,but the worst Liverpool by far and to me they are out of this tournament for sure,it would take a miracle for them to pass into the next stage. |

What a game between Manchester city and liepzig, I'm really enjoying it because both teams played very well and crrated many goal attempts, man city dominated the first half but liepzig started the second half with high pressure on city defence and was able to score the equalizer
It's quite shocking to know the match result between Leipzig vs Man City should be only drawn 1 - 1 What happened to Man City? Whereas they have higher chance, with stronger squad? Well, Indeed, in the UCL, anything can happen. And there are many small clubs that are able to give some surprises. Even though this is only the first leg, Man City, who is also the favorite to win, has not been able to maximize it. In the second leg later, they must excel and win especially when they play at home. After watching the first half i was thinking that Man City was gonna destroy them but in second half Leipzig put some presure and was able to score a goal. I had Over 2.5 goals but this is just insane what stuff happened. So many missed chances in this match that its impossible that we didnt see one more goal at least. |

I don't know if PSG will hire Tuchel or not, but I am not entirely sure if it will be an uncomfortable reunion, maybe these players will be very happy to see him? How do we know that everything we read is true and these players don't want him there?
I think they are professionals enough that they will be capable of putting everything aside and seeing how he won the UCL with Chelsea, a team that was much worse than them when they won, still much worse if you ask me, and they could at least see the fact that they will have a bigger chance to win UCL with Tuchel than Galtier. That looks like a possible thing that could make a big difference for sure.
I dont think they will bring him back he didnt win the champions league last time so there is some doubt about him. Too many superstars is the key problem for psg and they need to solve this as fast as possiblr. I think neymar will leave for sure in the next transfer window |

Very difficult to understand why Chelsea play this bad even though they have a great and expensive squad which was brought in a few months ago
I think it's quite simple and clear to me now because, Chelsea seems to be lacking just 2 things in there team. That is, 1. A good manager and 2. A good finisher for there number 9 shirt. It's not obvious as to how much quality or Chelsea have got on there team but still, they aren't winning games and those can be trimmed down to the points have stated above. This was the phase for Manchester United before Ten Hag. They had everything and just wasn't winning. Chelsea needs to work out a good manager and They would need a player like Victor Osimhen in there attacks. Then they would have some good chance at the league. Well i think they fired Tuchel too early and just needed to be patient with him. Potters was a bad decision he cannot combine all this superstars in the team. They signed so many players but not a decent striker and that is the main problem. Without a good finisher they cannot score and they keep on lacking goals. |

In my opinion, the most interesting of today's Bundesliga matches will be Borussia Moenchengladbach - Bayern Munich. The favorites seem to be the guests who, after a few-match decline in form, returned to the winning track. really bad luck for Bayern because in the 8th minute Dayot got a red card which forced Bayern to play with 10 players. Monchengladbach is winning 3-2, however bayern has struggled very hard but luck was on Monchengladbach's side. because of this defeat, union berlin is getting closer to bayern with only 1 point difference. Red card really did something. Bayern Munich lost because of it. If it was 11 on 11 Bayern Munich would have won the match but with a man short that wasnt just possible and Union Berlin now has a perfect chance to take the first place and dortmund to get even with Bayern Munich. |

What an unexpected end to Manchester City first place run in the epl table. Manchester City have surprisingly drew their match against Nottingham forest, the game has ended a 1-1 draw and i guess this result will cause shock wave all over the gambling world. Arsenal did splendid today and are back on top the epl table and hopefully this time around they can hold till the end of the season. Arsenal fought very bravely today against Aston Villa, coming from behind and securing a massive 4-2 Victory no doubt about them starting to play like champions now.
Man City is clearly to blame for this draw. They had a lead plus some brutal chances and they got punished for not taking them. Haaland missed such a big chance that i would think about this match for a long time,plus Foden didnt pass to him and slipped that could have gotten in aswell. Deserved draw for Forrest |
