961  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Investment: Good Debts vs Bad Debts on: June 27, 2023, 10:13:22 AM
Would you classify borrowing money to invest in Bitcoin as good debt or bad debt?
Depends on the interest rate of your bank. If it's two digits, on the upper side (20-30-40 percent), then it doesn't worth the risk to my mind but if it's a low percent and you have a salary enough to pay your loan and you won't ruin your life doing so, then why not? He who does not risk will never drink champagne, you know.
By the way, if someone takes a loan to buy bitcoin when it reaches its ATH, I would call it a bad debt but if someone buys for example before halving or soon after halving or after the crash of its ATH, then I would call it a good debt.

As long as you can pay it off, then it is okay, because that is really your problem if you invested at ATH, as you haven't researched more. You are right, you can't drink a wine if you are staying in your comfort zone and just waiting for luck to come to you, and even now, most people take out loans to take a risk on their businesses. How much more on us if we know about bitcoin and have the capability to gain profit from it? But again, we only invest what we can afford to lose, as we don't know what will happen to our investment. That is why it is better that if we take out those loans, we can still pay them off even if we lose all our investment.
962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does a whale sell its huge amount of bitcoins and change them into fiats? on: June 27, 2023, 08:46:11 AM
The only way that the whale can convert his BTC into his own fiat is by gradually converting it monthly, because if it is done daily, that is easy to detect by banks or any platform that you are planning to exchange, unless you are paying someone to use their identity or use their bank to transfer those funds, so that it will be distributed and not easily detected. But it should be done monthly because the limit was detected on a monthly basis, but I am not really sure if they will be able to detect the total yearly incoming on your account. That is the only way you can convert it without any detection, but I am still not 100% sure as I haven't tried it.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 27, 2023, 06:42:36 AM
Some people are truly misinterpreting Bitcoin: Bitcoin is not a job; it is a decentralized currency created to provide people with financial freedom.

Although women are not exempt from Bitcoin if they have an interest in Bitcoin investment, taking it as a career is a bit inaccurate.

I know that Bitcoin trading is a profession that one can take as a career, but it is not fully dependable due to the nature of the market, even though I know some people who are very professional and quit their job for Bitcoin investment.

You are correct; investing in bitcoin should not be viewed as a job, regardless of how successful you are as a trader. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, and we all know that when the market is down, there is nothing we can do but wait for it to recover or lose money. Although I am aware that some people use bitcoin to supplement their income by working in government, as an individual, man or woman, you should not depend on this alone.
Because investing in bitcoin is not anything that will prevent you from doing what you are doing, I think bitcoin activities can never have an impact on any individual who works for any organization.

It is a passion to improve your life financially, because if you call it a job, it is some sort of forced work that you are forced to do, and it is somewhat an 8 a.m.–5 p.m. job because you need money to feed yourself and that's all, whereas in investing, you are learning new things, which is somewhat your passion, and you enjoy earning money while doing it. Also, this is somewhat another source of income that makes you earn profit in one time, which also means it is not stable, not the same as a particular job where you will get that pay by the end of the month.
964  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your honest review of the Demo account? on: June 27, 2023, 04:46:25 AM
We are free and eligible to try out with the use of trading demo account if we are learning as a beginner and also can recommend such for those we already know are coming new to the trading of bitcoin in cryptocurrency, this has a widespread opportunities to make us get familiar with trading when we having a training ground of such with the use of a trading demo account, it's also a means to help us avoid mistakes while trading in some particular aspect we may not easily get used to apprehend while trading.
Yes, it was just a training tool helping us to learn to trade and we benefit from that as we can apply the learning we got from it in actual trading. But it doesn't mean that it was enough, we learn more when we are in actual trade. More challenging and can really feel how hard is trading when you are new to the market, and you can really be saying that what you have got from the demo account is just a first step of learning how to trade because true learning is when you are using your real money and feel the disappointment when you lose.

Also, other professional traders use demo accounts mostly when they try out new trading platforms to see how the UI works because if you deposit and try to trade if you don't know or feel lost in the UI of the platform, then it is already a loss. That is why they will try to learn those features of other platforms, as all platforms have different UIs. Let's just think of our demo account as our trading playground, meaning you can do whatever we can do in there, and we should make use of it and have fun on it.
965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better to have a trading knowledge than depending on signals. on: June 27, 2023, 03:29:15 AM
...As a trader that relies on buying signals, how confident are you about the continuous availability of those signals. Would they always be accurate and dependable?  Heavily depending on signals is parallel to same thing as someone else trading for you with your money. How ironical!..

As a rule, buyers of signals are beginners who lack trading skills and knowledge about how the cryptocurrency market works. And after a while, when they acquire the necessary knowledge, they refuse such signals, because they understand that he can independently determine the level of buying/selling.
True, in the end, after they have the knowledge and skills, they prefer to rely on themselves,
that's why it's important to have the knowledge and skills,
because for the long term it is not possible if you continue to use the signal.

This would be like in school, where you are just relying on your classmates answers, which is kind of cheating, and even if you are paying your classmates for answers, in the long run you'll have problems. Let's say your classmate is absent during an exam. Then how would you answer? That is why it is better to learn on your own, rely on yourself to learn, and have that knowledge before thinking about the profit. The problem for those new to trading is that they want to earn immediately and don't want to do the hard work.
966  Economy / Economics / Re: What roles does the poor play in the Economy? on: June 27, 2023, 02:30:07 AM
High numbers of poor people is an indicator that shows how government does their job in one country. High number of poor people shows government priority in creating country’s budget. However, there are moments when poor isnt an indicator to show how good or bad government works. Country by itself can be poor; for example they might now have any recourses except land or labor force.
It was the indicator that leaders in that country does nothing help to improve their status but a corrupt leader. It's a big shame but as a citizen of that country, we should also have to find a way to get out of being poor and lift ourselves alone rather than relying on the government that never think good for its countrymen. And it ended up just a labor force to other countries as that is the only they can offer due to lack of education and skill. But despite the status of their life, their participation is also a big help in a way of being an employee.

Let the government do their job and do your own because if we rely on government then for sure we will start. This is also whatI've noticed right now because unlike before, I've seen a lot of people joining rallies towards the government, but right now there are only a few and others prefer to find some money so that they have to eat. They are now working on their own to be able to find food on the table, and if the government helps them then it's just a bonus for them now.
967  Economy / Economics / Re: Methods to cut food costs on: June 26, 2023, 04:10:42 PM
One of my tricks to save on food cost is not to stick to one supermarket chain. For example we have 3 big supermarket chains with lots of shops. Not all of them are located nearby, but on the way from home to work I can visit all of them. Each week they make discount brochures. And it is wise to look through them from time to time. Because when one shop offers something with a huge discount, there is a chance that in the other supermarket chain same item will be at lower price.

For example Corona beer. It cost around 1.3 EUR. One of the chains now offer it @ 99 cents and put attention to that (huge discount). While in the other chain I can get Corona this week for 89 cents. I would not go to that shop on purpose to save those 10 or 40 cents, but if I drive by, I would hope in to get some.

Planning out your grocery shopping is really best because you can really save. Let's say that no matter if it is cheaper at another supermarket if you are driving long, it is still useless with your time and gas. It is better to go to a nearby supermarket as it is more expensive on gas than saving cents. That is also what I've done, as well as looking for coupons that I can use to get discounts. Also, it is really best if you can just walk or run to the supermarket, like if you need to buy small pieces while you are exercising, or you can also do cycling, as it is an exercise and you can save up gas.
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it's still wrong selling properties for Bitcoin? on: June 26, 2023, 01:52:12 PM
That is really a calculated risk. There is nothing wrong with selling your properties to buy Bitcoin as long as you can take it if you lose your investment. What I mean is that you have spare land that, let's say, is not usable for you at the moment, and you are a risk-taker, which means that you are not like others who are staying in their comfort zone. As long as you invest what you can afford to lose, then you'll be good, but if you sell it off and if it happens you lose your home as well, then that is a huge problem, but right now that is your spare land.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 26, 2023, 12:09:16 PM
So it was really confirmed by Dana White that both Elon and Mark are really serious about this, and he said that it is bigger than the Mayweather and McGregor fight, so it is still about money, and at the same time it is like another showdown between giants of tech companies, which means it is not the same as other fights as most of them are celebrities or come from another sport. Let's see if this goes through. Let's just hope.
970  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: June 26, 2023, 10:00:41 AM
Many people think that when they have income and money they will continue to try to spend it for pleasure, they don't think about investments that can be a helper when bad things happen, and we have to be able to control all expenses and of course have to invest even with a small amount.
If we just follow lust then it will never end so it is necessary to create awareness for ourselves,
limit spending on important things and we also need to invest our money for the future,
who clearly manages it all is so important and needs to be done.

It is the same with if your salary increases, your spending also increases. That is why it is better to have self-control, as we always have in mind that because we do have that money, we need to relax and buy those things, and we don't think about the future. That is really the opportunity to invest, as we do have spare money on it, so we need to make use of it. But it doesn't mean that we refrain from doing it, but we should prioritize investment over that unwanted stuff.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better on: June 26, 2023, 07:17:09 AM
This is like, even if you can't afford to buy the stuff that you need, you'll learn about it online, like finding reviews and how to maintain it so that it will not get easily destroyed. In bitcoin, it is almost the same; you are just learning first before investing in it. What's best about this is that you'll strive more, you'll learn more, and after that, you'll conclude that you'll invest more of it if you have a chance, as you are more confident that you'll earn profit on it. You are right, mostly if we do have money, we are too hasty, and we are getting blind to those other things as we are just seeing the profit.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Fun Fact] Is Gold scarce ? Bitcoin is ! on: June 26, 2023, 05:00:13 AM
It is just a made-up story, but if this is true, then for sure we are all dead because that is a huge asteroids that is capable of destroying our planet; if not, then for sure half of the earth. But I know the point is about how valuable it is. The same is true with Bitcoin; it's just like when you've been able to dig up a working hard drive that has tons of bitcoin on it, which also makes you wealthy.
973  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: June 26, 2023, 03:59:46 AM
In my opinion, investment will always be at risk, the higher we expect profit, the higher the risk, even many investments are scams because we too easily believe promises and massive marketing, but as humans who are familiar with many types of investment, of course we must avoid risky types of scam investment.

We get scammed because of the big return and we don't think of its risk. That is why before, those HYIPs were really trending and a lot of people would jump in because they only thought about the payout and didn't have thoughts of getting scammed. They always thought that they would double their money after a week, but it turned out that they lost it all. Though bitcoin or other investments are really risky, how can you earn profit if you don't take risks? that is why take only those calculated risk
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: June 26, 2023, 02:44:25 AM
Affordability is the most important factor when buying any class of asset. however, opting for the cheapest option may not always guarantee the best outcome. But when it comes to Bitcoin, I believe a person should buy it when he has the money regardless of the price. This way you can easily calculate the average price of purchasing.  Many major investors, like MicroStrategy, have adopted this approach.

That is really the problem of the people or investors. Now let's say they keep waiting on the cheap price, but they can't give them the exact amount of the cheap price, which turns out to be really the cheapest price before it rallies to the ATH, meaning you were left behind because you kept waiting. That is really best if you do have money to invest in it, then it is always the best time to buy, and don't wait for a dip unless you are very knowledgeable about it and you've tried to check the charts to see where the price could drop, and that is where your entry point is.
975  Economy / Economics / Re: What roles does the poor play in the Economy? on: June 26, 2023, 01:57:52 AM
In what ways have the people living in poverty impacted in the economy?
Share your ideas on the importance of the poor masses in economy sustainability.
Even the world's biggest countries such as America and Britain also have poor people, as they can never be eradicated from any society but just that the level of poverty in each country varies from one another, as they play a vital role in making life comfortable for the rich and middle-class citizens and themselves by creating an enabling environment for them all, as they are the ones who do the dirty jobs, (i.e petty traders, cleaning jobs, drivers, security guard & e.t.c).

The classification of poor in other countries is very different per country. For example, in a 1st world country compared to a 3rd world country, because of the cost of living in that country, they are struggling and can't buy food, but they are earning huge if you put them in a poor country. Whereas in a 3rd world country, it is really poor, but they can do things that can still help them survive, like growing their own crops or going fishing, as most of the 3rd world country has crops and rivers where you can catch fish, but still they are both doing the dirty jobs.
976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 26, 2023, 01:00:48 AM
I know this is advice is the common trend but only a gambler can understand that is easier said than done because gambling comes with some sort of strong spirit attached to and the moment you have lost some fund in the act, the mentality of trying to win back your money always to play in your head and only few person in the world today can actually control this thought.
That's only for people who can't afford to lose their money. That's why they have been triggered to winning back what they have been losing. It's kinda different with people who used it as entertaining purpose only.
Once someone losing their money and it's not a problem at all. If somebody is losing money from gambling and wanna get it back, it can be seen as an indication of addiction.
It is also an indication of greediness, as you want to get back all the losses. It is not that one indication that you are addicted to gambling; when you keep playing, like on a daily basis, and can't stop the urge to bet, that is also a sign of gambling. Even if you keep winning or just getting draws, if you still keep playing, that is a sign that you won't stop any time soon.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is Bitcoin to the youth? on: June 25, 2023, 02:31:55 PM
It is really well known in this generation because of social media, and most of the youth right now, even at a young age, want to earn bitcoin to help themselves or their parents, which is why Bitcoin is very useful. They can make it as an investment while in school, and even others have made their lives comfortable because of bitcoin because they earn profit from it. There are other microtasks or here in the forum that you can earn it from, and it is very useful in every aspect of life as it is about finances.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 25, 2023, 12:16:59 PM
Gambling is fun, it is money and this is kind of addiction. Even the person who doesn't gamble much have got an excitement when they're to gamble. So, everyone into gambling is kind of addicted, which means controlled addiction. There is nothing to cheat with gambling, because we may get a chance to cheat and win. Tomorrow what we had win will go into the pockets of the casino. Majority are into gambling for the money it provides. So, cheat, insider information, fixed matches shouldn't be considered big. Just enjoy and move on.
I really don't know how to cheat with gambling. We cannot cheat in any way with gambling. But gambling algorithms can cheat us but there is no chance of cheating when betting for sportsbet. Because this is a live game and everything depends on the players so no one's win or loss depends on the casino site. Site can't cheat us for sports but can cheat for other games no guarantee. But if anyone thinks that he can cheat the casino site then he is a fool

That involves hacking, for sure, if you want to cheat a casino site, but that is very difficult or not possible these days because most of the loopholes have been patched. Now in a physical one, it is the same unless you are very creative enough that you can cheat, but in those illegal or not, formal events can be easily cheated by game fixing, like local basketball, on which others bet, and when it comes to the point that it is about huge money, that game could be fixed.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: June 25, 2023, 10:08:19 AM

If I have money now, I would buy half of bitcoin because in next three months it will double the current price. This is real because it always occur this way after 5 years remember in 2011 and 2017 from the market charts and caps. And this year will break more even.

You are very positive, which can also lead to losses. I mean, if you bought at the time you posted this, you would have profited around 30–40%, which is also good, but still, it doesn't double your investment. But again, you bought it at a cheap price, which is why it is always best if you can buy anytime and accumulate it because the price keeps increasing. Also, if you still wait until you can afford to buy a whole bitcoin, then for sure the price at that time is higher. It is better to buy it in small amounts than one time.
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Always Have a financial record in whatever business you own on: June 25, 2023, 08:32:59 AM
It seems a bit weird that you had to educate this person on financial records, when it is pretty much demanded by the tax authorities in every country to have proper accounting. Otherwise you end up in a grey area which can easily be misconstrued as you trying to avoid taxes or even worse - money laundering offenses. If this person had been around for at least a couple years they should have been paying taxes and to do that, you need to know your incomings and outgoings. With that in mind, some people pay accountants to deal with the nitty gritty details, especially if they're in fields where they make a lot of money or once the company starts to expand but it is necessary to know these basics things to determine if you're making any sort of profit.
In some countries there are no proper taxation systems. Most citizens of developing nations don't pay tax. Even if they pay it is not properly calculated and corrupt tax officials also use tax collection as opportunities to steal. Like in my country only civil servants and registered businesses are require to file tax statement. So most businesses don't keep records and these businesses don't know their financial standings.

It was the opposite for us; it is required to have financial records as you are an illegal business if you don't have them, as this is required before having a permit to operate. That is why it is important, but the problem starts because most of them are handwritten, so they can be cheated, like if you wrote a total of $25k rather than $50k because they are just handwritten, which means they can be easily manipulated, and you really needed to declare it to the tax department so that they can introduce you to how much you are paying monthly or quarterly.
