981  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cex.IO Problem[RESOLVED] on: September 29, 2013, 12:33:59 PM
The reason I Posted about it being a scam so quickly was due to the fact that the admin/support was quickly responding to my email prior to my deposit. Then once I deposited and could no withdraw he was not responding then after 12 hours and still no response I posted about it
982  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cex.IO Scam on: September 28, 2013, 10:44:59 PM
The site has responded and everything has been worked out. I got the 1ghs. The said the problem was that on the withdrawal page it said commission was .001 when it was actually .01 so when I tried to withdraw there was a bit of a problem
983  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX.IO on: September 28, 2013, 06:50:45 PM

Well I am not sure how I can as I can show you a screen of the insufficent funds but any one can just claim that I really did have insufficent funds since it doesnt say what im trying to withdraw or my balance or anything.

I can also show you the email if you want but that is just support saying to get my 1ghs for free I need to make a deposit
989  Economy / Scam Accusations / Cex.IO Problem[RESOLVED] on: September 28, 2013, 12:01:32 PM
Cex.IO is outright scamming and I want to try to stop other users from being screwed like me. Recently I signed up on there site due to an ad giving away 1gh if you signed up and made a deposit. Since then I have made a deposit of about .046btc and have yet to get my 1gh. I  then tried to withdraw my funds and it continues to tell me insufficient funds even tho I have enough
990  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cloud Hashing with Coin Daddy - get your Investment back + 20% PROFIT on top! on: September 28, 2013, 01:07:10 AM
Cloud Hashing is the easiest way to profit for anyone interested in the Bitcoin Business!
It means that you rent some of our Hashing Power for 60 Days. You pay a certain fee, and get your investment back + minimum 20% extra profit on Top.
Guaranteed!

And if you fail to pay-up, what does your guarantee give? Genuine question, not sarcasm. The last scheme I saw that was like this turned out to be a Ponzi. Is your guarantee scheme backed by escrow funds?

Agreed if you are willing to escrow me my return I have no problem investing
991  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cloud Hashing with Coin Daddy - get your Investment back + 20% PROFIT on top! on: September 27, 2013, 11:47:18 PM
I am going to have to ask since no one else did, you are basically guaranteeing profit which makes me wonder how exactly you could possibly do that if you are truly mining.

Also why are we not allowed to redirect and cloudhashing we buy from you and use it else where?

Just seems very fishy to me almost like a hyip
992  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 24, 2013, 12:01:01 PM
Hashfast, Is it possible to buy just the upgraded hardware with no Chip?

Since I plan on the MPP kicking in I would want to upgrade all the current supplies. If it is possible how much would it cost? If not possible can a babyjets peices be replaced with offthe shelf power supplys and cooling?
993  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 24, 2013, 01:16:36 AM
Your site says "Shipments anticipated to begin: November 30, in order of purchase"

So if we ordered a batch 1 babyjet, will the upgraded babyjet ship before November 30th?
They will ship you the babyjet with a single chip before that (hopefully with an already updated ps/cooling), once that they have the second batch chips in hand, they would ship you the chips.
I would hope not.

Hashfast, will we be able to buy chips directly from you from batch 2 or will it be from future batches? Also how much does/will each chip cost to buy?

Also any status on when we can expect you to start selling the babyjet without a chip or when other people will start making them?
994  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 23, 2013, 10:37:26 PM
We have just released a series of blog posts written by Simon here:  https://hashfast.com/blog/

Enjoy!

-John

For overclocking will it be supported out of the box or will it require alot of tinkering?

Also on your recent blog posts you mention a sierra batch1 but on your site there is only batch 2. Did I miss a batch one of Sierra going out in October?
995  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 23, 2013, 10:33:38 PM
Well, I mailed them and got this reply:

Quote from: sales@hashfast.com
In regards to your questions below, we are unable to cancel your current order as we have already ordered the hardware that will be required to assemble your unit. What Simon mentioned, was an upgrade we are hoping to announce *very* shortly that is only for the Batch 1 Baby Jet customers. This will be for folks that wish to upgrade their system while keeping their current place in line and still 4 weeks ahead of the shipping of our Sierra's.

It seems to refer to the special promotion you mentioned in an earlier message. At least they didn't ask for 10% to trade the order. Wink

Come on guys, really? There must be a new get-rich-quick bestseller around.

the problem is, they are not getting rich right now off of anyone.

everything they're bringing in they are plowing back into making this a reality, ie, the best miner available in the market.  like i've said many times before, i am very excited about the design of the BJ and Sierra.  using OEM parts and being modular, i expect my own large order of BJ's to make an acceptable ROI for quite a while.

I would be quite interested to see your ROI calculations. From recent ones I have done I would loose around 4btc

If the "first batch baby jet special offer" is a second chip to have on the baby jet (since that the motherboard can house 2), for a price of like 1/4th of the baby jet price, i would like to know it now, since that i suppose i will need to pay in like 1 day if this offer comes out.

So, if i need to send a significative amount of money to the bitcoin ecosystem, i would like to know it in advance.

(if someone from hashfast wants to reply to this privately, my ticket number is 449. Thanks.)

we are unable to cancel your current order as we have already ordered the hardware that will be required to assemble your unit.
Sounds a lot like BFL to me...
Especially since that it's the same hardware used with batch 2 baby jets... Anyway, i'm still confident.
agreed, Personally I think it would be nice if they told people ahead of time by a little. Even if they just say a day before that tommarow we will be opening up so and so.

998  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online trading bot with Bitcoin-bot.com on: September 21, 2013, 01:17:52 PM
In looking at bitcoin-bot.com I noticed a few similarities with hashrack.com which, from personal experience, I can say is 98% a scam.  In checking the source from the two sites I found a few other similarities and wouldn't be surprised if they are run by the same person asshole.

Beware

same person asshole lol. I did when this first launch talked tried to get into contact with the owner to offer him help which if I remeber correctly he refused in a very mean way.

Side note, Scams dont need to function just look like that function
999  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 19, 2013, 03:22:43 PM
Not sure who else saw this or not but on the baby jet batch one it now says

"The Baby Jet motherboard has room for an additional GN chip module.**"

the 2 stars refer to simply that you need an upgraded water cooling system and upgraded power.

At this point tho from calculations i have run it doesnt look like anyone can really breakeven tho
