981  Other / Meta / Re: banned from posting or sending personal messages . on: June 07, 2018, 11:44:39 AM
Maybe I broke the rules by accident ,I didn't want to harm the forum .

You "accidentally" plagiarized a BUNCH of posts?  Of course you don't want to harm the forum you just want to help make it unusable for everyone else, you want to suck off every nickel you can from the community.

You knowingly tried to pass someone else's work off as your own there is/was nothing accidental about it.  You got caught, and you will not be missed as your contribution to this forum has been a massive net negative effect.

Now in order to complete the "trifecta" we just need someone to find your 12847 alts!!!!
982  Other / Meta / Re: How can I overcome the merit barrier? on: June 07, 2018, 02:07:56 AM
I have not checked your posts,

Post history is as bad as you'd imagine.

INB4 someone connects this complainer to 12487 alts!!!!!!!! LOL  Roll Eyes

Hilarious might be able to take care of this request if you can sign a message, it verifies and he sees it.

Good luck.

You are one interesting motherfucker!! I am ready to strap in and go for a ride for a few bucks mate!

Looks like I have a bunch more reading to do so thanks also for that!!

Sent you a PM as well with a few questions I hope you will answer for us!

985  Other / Politics & Society / Re: John McAffee is lauching his own (printed) currency on: June 05, 2018, 09:04:40 PM

Someone should print/issue paper Satoshis backed by the real bitcoins.  Each denomination bill with its own bitcoin address.

I've just recently discovered the whole collectibles section of the forum!  Polymerbit and bitbills are two such "paper bill" style cold wallets, been around for many years!  There are also a TON of coins that are cold wallets.  Some of the artwork on the bills and coins is stunning, the kialara moon coin is one of my favourites and on my wish list of things to acquire!

https://www.polymerbit.com/

Not sure if bitbills still makes stuff or not, they made cards and bills iirc

Oh snap! Dumbledore has fallen on hard times.

I'll accept U$50 for a new comb.

Oh, and I'm now co-owner of a goat brothel outside Las Veges. Members of the Legends Room get a free pass.

Wasn't there a picture a few years back of you having dinner with a goat, Sonny K V, BCP and our favourite monumental asshole??
988  Economy / Collectibles / Re: PGP is a better solution than Privnote on: June 05, 2018, 01:16:14 AM
I don't really understand privnote if I am completely honest, I've never used it.

What value does privnote offer me as a regular user or buyer of a good or service?

Its basically a self destructing notepad. You write whatever you want, click encrypt, send the other party the link, and the moment it is clicked the note is destroyed and the link is dead. The recipient must copy the info before they close the tab.

It protects your real identity in case you send your name and address in plain text to another member who doesn't delete the PM after they have done what they needed your details for. Later on down the road their account gets hacked/sold etc, and if the scenario described above happens, you've just been doxed. Using privnote will obviously avoid this. Hope this helped somewhat Smiley

Thanks mate that's what I thought.

The reality of it is for me I see it as something that is very unlikely to happen and even IF the account is breached or the server where the message is ultimately stored someone would need to find my message and have a need for my particular details (which ultimately will only ever be my name and address basically).

I admit there is a chance for something to happen but the chances seem really low.  Perhaps it's simple naivete on my part? I am open to looking at that as an option LOL.

I mean I can definitely see sending important stuff like KYC documents, passports, ID's etc but in reality I won't ever be sending these kinds of docs or info to anyone here!!!!  Of course if I did have a need to send something important I think PGP makes a lot more sense as outlined in the OP

I can also see a great use for business documents and contracts or other IP but in terms of simple shipping details I guess I will just continue to roll the dice as I don't see the need for the extra steps.

The forum will be a better place if reputed members step in, no matter if they are DT or not. Although everyone has their own choice and I have full respects for that.

I completely agree on that one!  I do hope the OP gets the attention from DT it deserves and I don't want to take away from the OP and go any further OT with a trust system diatribe LOL!
991  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Crypto Quilts / 100% Handmade on: June 04, 2018, 01:08:29 PM
I'll take a shot at a King Size quilt!  Will you take ETH, I'd rather part with my ETH than BTC lol.  If you take ETH and post an addy I would do like .051ETH which is currently like 40 CAD.

Happy to take any cryptocurrency. Prefer to limit it to the following:

992  Economy / Goods / Re: UPDATE 🔥🛒💍 Crypto Rings In Precious Metals - PROTOTYPES COMPLETE PICS INSIDE! on: June 04, 2018, 12:26:11 PM
I'm really happy you decided to actually go through with getting these into production. I plan on figuring out my ring size in the next couple days and then ordering one or two of these. As I said previously, I have an eye for the more minimalist designs, and so that leaves me really having a liking for two of the designs in particular. Simple and Elegant, plus the regular BTC Signet are going to be my first purchases. Don't sell out on me.

Hey Bill, thanks for the kind words, glad you like them!!  No need to worry about selling out mate stock is essentially unlimited, so no rush on ordering!!!

I've been a little busy IRL the last week or so and haven't had a chance to do anymore designs but I am still planning on doing more when time permits!  I have quite a few ideas in my brain just not enough time to get them all digitized LOL!!

I have a prototype of the LTC signet sitting on my desk, and a couple of the miner signets en route to me as well.  The wife has a new DSLR and light box on the way as well so I can hopefully get some nice new product shots for you guys.  I think the rings look much better IRL than the photos here so I will definitely be trying to improve the product shots in the coming days and weeks!

I am actually extremely happy with the quality of the rings.  The polishing and finish on the plated and high polish .925 silver rings I have look extremely professional IMO.

I haven't ordered a 14 or 18ct gold ring yet, I am waiting to see the miner signet and then I will decide if I like the BTC signet or the miner signet more, then I will probably get a gold prototype made for me to wear!!!

Lastly if anyone has anything they would like to see on a design please fire away and I will do my best to accommodate!
993  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Crypto Quilts / 100% Handmade on: June 04, 2018, 06:31:55 AM
I figured I'd post this incase anyone wants to support the same quilters guild.

They are raffling off a 104x104 quilt (King Size) on August 7-8th. Pay me in crypto and I will buy you tickets!

$2 per ticket or 3 for $5. Last year there were over 3200/5000 entries.

Image redacted for obvious reasons. This directly supports the quilters guild as well as Crypto Quilts.

OP, great job mate. Let's hope a DT steps in and tag this people after validating the references. I thought Flying Hellfish IS A DT, may be he is not.

No sir not on DT.  The trust system doesn't affect my personal use of the forums in any meaningful way so I rarely use it.  A tag from me has the same weight as a tag from Trollaran!

I think these users should be tagged pending confirmation of the OP's info, I think it's great that a DT member is willing to do things like tag these kinds of users but this isn't my fight mate and I have no plans to make it my fight any time soon!
995  Economy / Reputation / Re: Account/Bounty farming (20+ accounts) on: June 03, 2018, 01:45:55 AM
I'm going to tag these people. if they turn out to be innocent, you'll get tagged yourself. deal?

What kind of deal is that??
I have been hardworking and compile a list of abusers to benefit the forum!

From the TX that I posted there is no much doubt left!
But I cannot be 100% sure! Only 99.99%

It doesn't seem right you came here and threaten me with bad trust when I try to improve the forum and help moderation.

You can safely ignore the troll.  His "tags" are completely and utterly irrelevant.

Wait patiently for an actual DT member to stop by, if they agree they will likely paint em red.
996  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] VaultBar - Hybrid BTC & ETH storage bar! on: June 03, 2018, 01:19:05 AM

If a person is proud of the pompous fact that he never made mistakes, he is a liar. Mistakes are a natural process of human development. I did not say that it's hard to follow the rules, I knew them. I just made a mistake in writing a comment to the post, laying out the analysis, as an answer to the creator of the post, in a language I do not know. My desire was to help a person. My conscience is calm. And here's another thing! If Satoshi Nakamoto followed the rules blindly, we never saw Bitcoin, for it contradicts the very system in which we all grew up and who brings us up. If you are robots and not people, keep pouring mud on me, and enjoy it!
All those who consider themselves unmistakable and amazing, study the science of statistics. But to humiliate a man for an error committed in an attempt to reveal his boundaries and develop, this is the most human without which I have ever seen. And you know that I'm telling the truth.

Interestingly enough you have better grammar skills in this post than the VAST majority of people who grew up as native English speakers (this should be read as a knock on western schooling as well  Grin).  Your use of capitalization's, commas, periods, exclamation points, apostrophes, pluralization's, sentences and paragraph while far from perfect suggests a much deeper understanding of English than you are saying.

Instead of telling everyone they are bad people for not supporting you or giving you a second chance how about you deal with the consequences of your actions like an adult.  I know in this day and age it's easier to blame other people but just try for once to look at yourself as the problem and NOT everyone else.

Or don't it doesn't make much difference as the chances of a ban for plagiarizing being lifted is pretty damn low from what I have seen.
999  Other / Meta / Re: innovations on the forum on: June 01, 2018, 11:26:57 PM
before such was not and I could easily three or four times per day to raise the topic up, now only one
and I do not see anywhere that it was written about this innovation

theymos implemented a 24 hour "cooldown" on deleting posts in problematic boards. As long as your thread is at the top though who cares right...
