Dropping from 31 to 3.1 is lame. Why not just pre-mine everything and only run PoS? You started with 53,100,000.0 MOTA already.
We are looking to go full POS and I am giving a helping hand but may be a while as I am also working 60 hr weeks cooking in a restaurant. We are hashing things out but I want to do a static POS reward vs a flat reward percent per year. The reasoning for me was that you need competition and if you have something like 5% total inflation but divided by the stakers, the ones participating gain more. With a flat reward per year, if you don't have everyone staking, you don't gain that inflation per year and exchanges can more easily out stake and sell the coin.

I am in a good place, I kind of missed out on the early profits and lost the rest day trading. In the wild west days of crypto, I was always up and up and I saved multiple shitcoins. I remember getting involved with ColossusCoin early on and was a small player, but was interested in the coding of block chains and had a small investment. I even naively proposed to a website company to help, accompanied by music, but no avail. I ended up learning and doing it myself and was a big pain in the ass to try and divy up all the new funds on a new blockchain to current holders. I took 10% of the new coin, made some improvements in coding and contracting, making it more of Proof of Stake minting for a selected sum. I later on sold it off but for a good time after that, it was worth more. This is kind of where PayCon comes into play, MuddaFudda created it as a joke towards PayCoin as a shitcoin. The code was bad though, and would destroy the coin soon. I created a new fork where it would fix difficulty spikes and a miscalculation lead to a static amount. PayCon flourished and I improved upon it and it's wallet where I could, and got help elsewhere. I talked shit about PayCoin with PayCon but I had also purchased about 15% for about a grand and with a few more, we would give back all that(about 20%) to the PayCoin community. We did a kind of giveaway where I sent high fees for mining to be received by miners over intervals as a script. It went well and we helped alot of people. If it is possible to pull up the forums during that event, we helped secure the nest egg of a cancer patient's family that probably didn't make it through. To all those who have known me, I've never tried to screw anyone over in my crypto career and be helpful. Love you all

You can exchange your BCC tokens at the current rate of $142.47 USD per token.
This sounds like a scam. Omg I can make like 5000% ROI , that is until they dump all BCC before exchanges close and left with empty promises.

People are still hopeful for this Ponzi coin? It must be painful reading "fud" after "fud" posted on here. Just sell and bring your remaining capital to other coins with potential and never fall again for another con.
Yeah, like YTC in supporting YouTubers. See my sig. Love the shameless plug. If I'm poor, how can I get YTC? My only skill is that I can cup balls REALLY well.

can't find that script on github. and i wouldn't recommend to run anything downloaded from discord that is not on project's github. sounds unsafe)
As mentionned above, the script is readable and you can edit it freely, its a simple shell script made to ease installation/compilation/configuration processes. The script is fine to use, I already picked it apart to experiment with a similar source I've been playing around with. Maybe I could post it on Github for people to use with an explanation of what everything does?

but with all this included - this is not decentralized network. binaries from unknown source, some unknown bash lines to boot up that you wouldn't find on official github. and on top you adding budget system. show me crave's decentralization lol! there was no working wallets for macos for almost a month - this is not the same difficulty windows wallets saw when swap begins. missing something?
you don't have to use the script for the installation, or what do you mean? the source code can be read on GitHub. It is decentralised, why shouldn't it or how can it not be decentralised if it is a network of nodes, all on different computers. how it is decentralized with hardcoded alert keys that giving nice set of control to key holders? Alert keys are just for alerting people of changes? The crave-install script I mentioned just does all the steps for you to compile on linux. You can open it up with a text editor and see but it just clones the source, installs the dependancies, chmods the autogen.sh and lvldb files, then does ./autogen.sh, ./configure, make. If you already have the dependencies you can just open your console and type git clone https://github.com/Crave-Project/Crave-NG.gitcd Crave-NG chmod +x autogen.sh cd share chmod +x genbuild.sh cd cd Crave-NG/src/leveldb chmod +x build_detect_platform cd cd Crave-NG sudo ./autogen.sh sudo ./configure sudo make If you need the dependencies then you can open unix-build in the Crave-NG/doc folder and it will list all the things you need for the daemon and QT

Hey guys! Our dev team is coding away here to launch the Scorum blockchain & wallets in March. Will announce the specific date as we get closer to the launch so stay tuned. In the meantime, you are always welcome to keep an eye on our development progress via our GitHub repo. >> Looking forward to it, I think this is a great project.

Hi al! I am new to this and hoping for clarification. I have been told if the Dev team is not listed that is a bad sign. Is this true? I don't see a Dev team listing for Crave. I like the idea of everything that I have read on the Crave NG. Just want to make sure for my introduction to alt coins isn't a bad one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Dev team not being listed doesn't really mean anything. I looked at CoolRRSA's history on both bitcointalk and github and liked what I saw. This coin is decentralized, all POS with low inflation, so everyone is the dev team. I do understand what it's like being in his position, I've been there on other coins and it's thankless and doesn't pay anything lol. any news when there will be working wallets for osx/linux? can't build to swap coins. adding win machine to the network is not an option ps. until alert and other keys are present in the code - this is nothing close to be decentralized network https://github.com/CooleRRSA/crave-ng/blob/master/src/chainparams.cpp#L108or course if our perceptions of the word "decentralized" are similar You can compile the linux wallet from source yourself, there is a handy script in discord that will download from github, chmod the files needed, install all the depends, compile the wallet and setup your conf file. Seems complicated but it's not, just get the crave-install.sh file, navigate to the directory in the console, then type chmod +x crave-install.sh (makes the file able to run as an executable) sudo ./crave-install.sh Then just follow the prompts

I've been reading all the bashing going on for the past couple of months, from people who have been in the crypto space for some time now, towards these new investors trying to make a quick buck with minimal effort. And truth be told you all were warned by them ... in several occasions, and instead of listening you were kicking and screaming that they are spreading fud and that they ruined your perfect get rich platform. Well sorry to say but that was not the case, they've been around long enough to see ICO devs get the money and run away and so much more, so in a sense they were trying to protect you. So if they come out a bit harsh, and say we told you so ... well they kinda did and they are justified to do so.
But in my opinion kicking someone while he is down is not the way to go about it.
What I would suggest ... all the people who lost money in bitconnect, get together, form a community in this space, use the coin you already have, make a proper roadmap, have a plan and relaunch as something else that people can actually trust and invest in. There is a million and a half of you guys, I'm sure you can find capable programmers, marketeers etc amongst you all, and if you do get together then the rest of the crypto community that is bashing you right now will stand behind you and support you. That you can count on.
Just my 2 cents.
Fair enough regarding kicking. I'm trying not to kick the victims too hard, aside of calling them morons occasionally. Shills on the other hand - fair game. But I don't think it makes sense to try to resuscitate BCC. Scammers still own millions of coins and will dump them anytime the price goes up. Any talent that could take on this project would be much better used on something that does not have a scam baggage. If someone could create value out of a failed scam they surely could create the same or better value out of a brand new coin/token (not that we need another any more of those TBH). That's before we even get into potential legal trouble. See Paycoin. You nailed it perfectly. Capable people would have avoided this from the start and in the future because you may get labeled a scammer and swept up into legal trouble just by trying to lead a change. No thanks. The bitcointalk trolls have been rather tame imo. I remember with Bitshares there was decentrizethis that would just FUD so hard about communism or something but never seemed to affect it. I don't think what people say about a project really makes any difference, either it works or it doesn't.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKxBOWCVQO0SEC is on the case. Craig Grant and Trevon James and all the other US based faggots are going to jail. And if anyone is still taking part in these lending platform crap, you deserve to lose your fucking arses. This lotto odds thing was fascinating even if it was a product shill, lol

when I buy this coin on cryptobridge, do I get the new or the old coin from crave? Sorry I dont understand this swap think..please explain.
Thank you
On Crptobridge you get the new coins, only YoBit has the old coins at the moment. A swap is creating a new blockchain, and trading coins from the old blockchain to the new one. In this case everyone gets 10X the amount of Coins they had on the old blockchain, still have the same percent of the total money supply, just that there are 10x more coins. People send their Coins in using the swap form in the OP.

BCC worth $2.50 now, good thing I didn't buy 'cheap' BCC at $5 lol

Lol there is no real point in a memecoin about garlic.
I could just swap out PayCon onto a new Blockchain as POS only.
PayCon is/was a way better memecoin than something about garlic because it's educational about the actual work that it takes to create an Alt-coin.

Everyone else has a much harder time now, making high ranks that much more valuable.

to the dumbasses that bought this coin past two days when the verdict is already out on the coin. SMFH
Not looking good at $6.54 according to Coinmarketcap. Maybe this is the first coin in crypto history that in fact goes from billions to zero. I watched Paycoin go from 100 million marketcap to 300k. Once it was branded a scam, it slowly died over about 6 months until people got bored of posting about it.

I still don't understand why Cryptopia has withdrawals disabled. I need to swap my coins there to the new chain, why won't they let us? Is there risk of blocks not getting processed on the old chain if we wait too long?
Cryptopia is a total douche-bag when it comes to freezing wallets. I learned my lesson last year to always make sure for any coin I MIGHT want to by from Cryptopia, I first make sure the wallet is working and synched. I still got coins of 4 wallets that have been locked for over a year and those dumb asses dont give a lovely f*ck. Remember that they are real people too, best to ask them nicely. I was reading the safex thread where they had some issue and it took longer because the community was attacking them over it. Getting this done is beneficial for everyone so it's good if many people can enquire, get answers (and get the process moving), but to use proper tact when doing so.

macos build is broken, linux build is broken. no chance for coin swap. wtf, this is a joke
I compiled on linux from source, they have a crave-install.sh file on discord, all you have to do is run it and follow the prompts. Super easy, can even edit the script for other coins too. I think there isn't latest for mac OS but there are work arounds, I suggest getting on discord and asking some questions.
