Hi HashEngineering!

I was wondering what options you have for android POS?

I don't do POS wallets.  One idea is too look at the Blackcoin Wallet, which is for android.  Not sure if it is still supported.

Have you looked at Coinami?

Yes, I forgot that I have actually forked that wallet for a different coin.  However, that one requires electrum servers.

Would you be able to help me set it up?

Can pay in BTC.

For those of you wondering about the Stakebox mentioned, I got hold of the guy who designed it about a couple questions regarding upgrades and memory capabilities.

Quote
The StakeBox is based off of the Raspberry Pi 2, it has 1GB of RAM. I am looking at other, more capable, devices for an upgraded version of the StakeBox. As far as updating wallets, I just finished setting up simple, one click updating of wallets through the web interface. I need to get that info up on the website today. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, thanks.
I have this one and works great. You don't need anything more, it's complete as it is. I'm running 4 crypto wallets, one of them as a node and a complete web server. Normally it's consuming between 1.8 and 3 watts.

I've installed team viewer and I am controlling it through my desktop computer as if I was working directly on it.

It's a very good, complete and cheap solution. Ainol is well know by the desing of it's mini pc which keeps the temperature of the processor pretty cool

http://www.ainol-novo.com/ainol-mini-pc-black.html

Looks nice and can be used as powerbank Smiley

It´s Win 8.1 , the stakebox is Linux and special web interface with easy one click updating wallets etc.

Cres: Yeah, PayCon Android wallet would be nice.

I've been looking around for a few people that could do it or help with it. I like Coinami and that would be the ideal solution, to have a lightweight client but could have it done for 2 BTC but it would hold the entire chain, that is not really perferrable though since space requirements of mobile devices aren't great for holding full chains.

504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Universal-Wallet] Coinomi (BIP44 compatible) on: August 29, 2015, 02:58:52 AM
Does Coinami support POS only Coins? I notice that BlackCoin is a part of Coinami but if able to integrate a POS only Coin, will it Stake?

What kind of server setup is needed for trusted nodes?

Do you offer support for setup and integration for payment in btc?

How do upgrades and potential hardforks come into play?

Thank you for your service, your Coinami wallet looks really great.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to turn the POS notifications off? on: August 29, 2015, 02:46:52 AM
I have a few wallets open for staking but pos notifications start to annoy. How to turn these off?

Just go into your settings in your control panel of your computer and turn off notifications.
506  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 28, 2015, 10:54:00 PM
The prizes for those videos were "VaultBreakers", which then turned into 750MH of Primes, and just for participating they got 375MH "VaultBreaker minis" because Homero "couldn't decide which was best", the contest entrants could then dump at $30-40 per MH.

~$12.5k just for entering and ~$25k for winning one of the catagories (by hashtard vote) is probably worth making a cringe-inducing video for, although morally wrong as we know in the end that money came from GAW's victims not Garza.

There you go. I didn't realize the prizes were so huge. I should have made one Smiley

Anything for my precious.....

Good, I bought 11,000 currencies or it will be enough to undermine necesto buy more quickly in the portfolio, and if you only have it divided into two blocks or so left one thanks

I have the version v1.5.0.0 portfolio PayCon-1.0.5 that is right or I have to download another, and if so please put the link decarga because in her main theme will not let me

Version 1.0.5 is ok but versions before that would be rejected because there was a change to the timedrift.

This, THIS is golden!!   oh what a thread, what a beautiful thread.

edit:  just listened for the umpteenth time and im disappointed that there is no mention of his phallic genius,  surely such a magnificent stump is deserving of a chorus or two?
that video made me chuck up in my mouth. i hope garza made it about himself and submitted it under a sock puppet else someone has an unhealthy man crush.
its gotta be a joke.   nobody would do that.    though if its not then its the greatest video ever.

Unfortunately I think it is real. There are a bunch of these GAW contest videos on Youtube with bizzaro shit like Josh as a superhero (I kid you not) and other insane things .
Its insane and people bought into this madness???   Fair play to all who rumbled this idiot.

I loved the video, pretty sure it's a troll not a retard

I might be wrong, but the guys talented, too bad he gave his money to Homero

Are there other entries?

Homero is a haraami
its a sad state when the hashking is to scared to sing.

Someone needs to make a reply video Tongue

So sorry ladies and gentlemans ,do you know that, looks like paycon is on  his supported altcoins list

StakeBox is designed to be an energy efficient, cost effective way to store and stake your POS cryptocurrencies

http://stakebox.com/

i have found that on HyperCrypto Ann,

Oh wow, sounds like people are taking notice lol

The price for it is pretty reasonable, about $80 for 16 GB and $110 international.

Hey I also created a non-TOR branch with Multi-send GUI as I've had a few complaints that people were seeing more orphans as a result of the latency of TOR.

https://github.com/Crestington/PayCon/tree/32bit

i am ok with Tor wallet,if i receivelike two, three orphants i am using repair wallet and everything is fine
Working very well

Well I'll build both for the next release I do along with updated link to Cryptsy in the exchange tab Smiley

That's all done but want to add in some more stuff before doing any building.

hmm, I am wondering if there is interest in an android wallet?

We can get one made for 2 BTC.

too bad inmates can't post on the interwebs(idk maybe some can). it be frikkin awesome for homero to post here from his cell.(im thinking ahead) i think he'd kinda enjoy it in a weird sorta way.
hed probably start crowing about  how he was the king scammer and  how he  maticulously planned the most awesome crypto scheme ever and suckered in  the likes of
rich arabs  with millions to splurge  and poor greedy  peons who spent their last dime and maxxed out all their credit cards.
i know everyone here would get a charge outta that.  well i would anyway
Keep dreaming if it makes you feel better. Josh will NEVER spend a day in prison or otherwise incarcerated. But, enjoy your fantasy.

Alright Asshole I'll bet you 100BTC that Garbozo ends up behind bars. As you already owe me 100BTC, Hey Scott you down to escrow? let me know when JoSamiam666 deposits 200BTC in the wallet of your choosing. Oh and check my sig as to where to deposit my winnings. Thanks dude!
I might bet $20 in bitcoin, but I truly believe he will never see a day in prison.  He may be convicted of something or sanctioned by the SEC, but he will never do any time in prison.  Make a bet up on bitbet.com.

I imagine the SEC should be the least of his concerns at this point. FBI, IRS, DHS, the list goes on and on. Money laundering for terrorists will catch up eventually.

There were a number of people after Josh for money in the middle east but have not come forward to report their losses. You would not report the amount of money you have lost if you received it illegally.

Who were all the guys that Josh was pictured with his cars being received in Dubai?

I think he sold his cars to pay back some of the money when Phil wouldn't give him access to the Coins but I guess it wasn't a very smart idea to give the Coins as collateral and need to sell them to pay off the mob at the same time.

What do you mean by theme?  Confused...do you mean, what idea the coin is designed around....objective, usage, goal....etc?

No, a theme is fairly easy to make and you can do it without needing to recompile the wallet. I did a theme competition for PayCon and put together a short guide on how to make theme's https://forum.gethashing.com/t/paycon-theme-competition-get-your-theme-on/4419

How long does it normally take to do the android wallet?

2 to 4 days depending on my work load.

Great, I'll get some BTC together, do some checks with the source and let you know once I'm ready Smiley

soon as i found out cryptsy owners hold lots of paycon, putt my life saving in over past weeks.... if cryptsy r willing to skip the voting list for coin and buy a lot themselfs it must be goood. when paycon is the new world money im going to buy trailer in america and live like king. but it scares me that paycon is involved with isis. does cryptsy too support the isis member that holds 200000 paycon?

Really?  This is what you come up with?

You do realize that ISIS uses USD too, right?  Guess it should scare you out of your dollars too, huh?

Yes, Zimbabwean dollars are the only way to go these days...

Isis? They hold CON? lol

Can't really stop people from holding any amount of Coin even if they were involved in ISIS, that would probably be for the governments to sort out. It would all work out anyways, just owning CON changes you as a person and gives you a whole new perspective on life. I suspect that if this person IS a part of ISIS that it is is only a matter of time before the spirit of CON challenges that belief.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 26, 2015, 10:34:45 AM
Scrypt.cc runs it traffic through Colocrossing.com, a co-location server that allows websites to run their traffic through them and obfuscate the origin of their traffic. They are located in Buffalo, New York. This is the last known IP for Scrypt.cc: 107.152.186.58 USA Tracing at bottom of this post.

This is a boon, as it brings Scrypt.cc under the jurisdiction of both Federal law and New York State law in the United States. You have reason to report Scrypt.cc to the FBI, and the newly developed New York State Bitcoin Licensing Regulator. I will explain how to file a report with these agencies:

FBI
Call your local FBI field office. Listings easily found on any search engine. (Or the Phoenix Arizona field office if you are certain that Scrypt.cc hosts there and that this Arizona information is not a mis-direct.) You will not speak to an agent, but an intake interviewer. They will request your person contact information. If the FBI is interested in the case, they will contact you. it may not be immediately. If an agent in Colorado reads a complaint intake, he or she can check to see if anyone else has also filed a complaint. If they see that other people from other states have been filing complaints, this will tell the agent there many be something they need to investigate.

Even if you do not live in the U.S., the FBI should be notified of crimes occurring on their turf.

The FBI does not give out their email. They do not accept emailed complaints reports. Forget email or texting the FBI. Call or write a local field office.

New York State Bitcoin Regulator

The New York State Bitcoin Licensing law went into effect shortly before the demise of Scrypt. Because Scrypt.cc runs their traffic through Colocrossing.net of Buffalo, New York, it puts them under the jurisdiction of New York State law. This may be your ace in the hole, your “gotcha” card.

This bureau is so new, they have no formal complaints forms yet. The most likely have yet to take a case. It puts you at the front of the line, and in front of the only agency created specifically to pursue/prevent Bitcoin crime. For the time being, complaints are to be sent via email to:
vclicensequestions@dfs.ny.gov

When you write your report or complaint please do the following:

HEADER: Put the name of the company (scrypt.cc) and that it is a complaint report

BODY OF EMAIL:

1) The name of the company, Scrypt.cc, their physical address and email address. (support@scrypt.cc and contact@scrypt.cc and any others you may have)

2) Type of company (virtual currency cloud mining company)

Tell them the Scrypt.cc runs their traffic through a Colocrossing.net, a Buffalo New York based company, that allows websites to disguise the origin of their traffic, and that this brings them under jurisdiction of New York law. You can provide as proof (of running traffic through Colocrossing.net) the trace that at the bottom of this post.

3) Your full name, physical address, email address and phone. The more contact information you give, the easier it will be to contact you, and the more legitimate you seem.
4) The amount of Bitcoin you sent to Scrypt.cc, and the date or time span.
5) The amount you lost
6) Describe in your owns words how you lost it, and your attempts to recover. You can include screen shots.
7) Do not give out passwords, or login I.D.’s.

Write the facts, and with a level head.

“The a**hole stole my Bitcoin and needs to go to jail” may not be acted upon.

“On August 1st, I tried to withdraw 15 Bitcoin. The withdraw shows processed and complete. The Bitcoin never arrived in my account. Many other people on the forums are reporting the same problem. I have filed several support tickets. They are not responded to and eventually deleted.” This gives information that can acted upon and is more likely to receive attention.

Some of you may have obvious losses: being prevented from withdrawing funds from your account. Some of you have less obvious losses: Suspecting that Scrypt.cc is sending out phishing emails to their own customers. Or driving down the price of their own stock so that customers will never be able to get back what they put in. It is OK to report both types of losses.

In filing a complaint report, you may be giving the New York Biotin Regulator’s Office something they need:
A need to show this is a wise use of tax payer dollars
A need to show that Bitcoin criminals can’t mess with New York State
A a big case they can cut their teeth on
A big win

Again, even if you do not reside in the U.S., New York State should be notified of crimes being committed within their jurisdiction.

Scrypt.cc has an Alexa ranking of about 7000. This is about 105,000 visitors per day. This is massive, massive fraud and could rival Mt. Gox in the amount of Bitcoin stolen from customers. If the New York Bitcoin Regulator’s office can bring to justice a case of this size, imagine what it would do for their reputation. imagine the message it would send to other Bitcoin scams out there.

It is conceivable that if arrested, Marcelo Santos et al could have RICO charges levied against them. This is the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. There are both Federal and State statutes for RICO. and the penalties are stiff.  Some state codes are 39 years in prison. The most likely outcome in this scenario would be a generous reduction in sentencing in exchange for making Scrypt.cc customers whole.

Civil lawsuits can result in judgments which are difficult to collect. Government agencies have the ability to arrest, imprison, and seize assets.

Please submit a well thought out report with both agencies. It is not a good idea to cut and paste from this post in writing your complaint (unless it is the trace at the bottom). Many complaints all sounding similar are less likely to be acted upon than many complaints each written in an individual’s own voice.  Do not use vulgar language or profanity.

Remember: The early bird gets the worm and the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Best to you in bringing this situation to justice.

I'd be willing to gamble you are wrong. These are some VERY serious investigations. DHS, IRS, SEC, FTC, the list goes on and on.

Anyone who thinks it will just end with an SEC Administrative action is literally living in la la land.

What is the punishment for laundering money for terrorists?

Strapping to a 2000lb bomb and dropping on his partners would seem appropriate.

What about countries/agencies outside the US.  Could they bring charges too?
Doubtful... America would have to hand him over to other countries which would be a little costly. I think homero has done enough damage in the usa to go down for all he needs.

What I found funny was he ran away to Dubai and couldn't handle the heat so cried to be called back to usa.

scamiam666 (Carlos Garza his brother) is just here trying to sort some integrity into someone that doesn't merit any, but you know family you stick with them through thick and thin so I can understand that. Honestly when the world beats you you're sure to come and vent your anger somewhere and since bitcointalk and suchmoon are the originators of all that is Garza jail time future it seems only natural (or is that naturalle?( he'd come here to attack.

Honestly in all this I feel sorry for his kids. He can drag himself down but he really should have not reproduced if he couldn't be a decent role model and provide a stable home and future for his kids. What a waste of flesh.

In the immortal words of Taylor Kobb's claptrap Josh can bugger off Smiley like all the rest of those walking shit containers Smiley.
YouTube taylor kobbs claptrap such a funny character from borderlands 1.

Cue opportunity for scamiam666 to say something about something not meriting something.

lol, he's defending because he was aiding and abetting in the scam for his own profit as well. There were many emails released about them laughing about getting large investors on the ropes and hyping the market as they dump Coins.

The site is run like a registered security, I'm pretty sure you would only need to take a few things to their hosting providers...

I suggest everyone begin writing emails to CloudFlare .. give them the RayID that you see when loading scrypt.cc's splash page - tell them your story - that this individual has been misleading customers while extracting 80% of the wealth they have invested - no reason given, or obvious.  We want to know where the sob is hosted, and then go after them.

Tell them if they do not give all info, we begin a social media blitz, emails to blogs etc., mainstream press, and government complaining about how CloudFlare is hiding scammers.

Did you not read the terms of service when you registered? You outta go look at what you legally agreed to when you signed up.

TOS don't really mean anything, plus it states users are selling a digital commodity known as "KHS" and will be notified of changes. No users were notified of the change to "MHS" or to have a chance to opt out. Although on the surface if you look at the TOS that it seems like there is nothing that can be done, I doubt that would be true considering they violate their own terms on a regular basis and thus invalidates it.

Hi HashEngineering!

I was wondering what options you have for android POS?

I am thinking I would want something similar to Bitcoin wallet which takes a smaller amount of space and doesn't hold the entire chain, nor does it need to Stake. What I am envisioning is where you have your own server/wallet Staking but the android wallet does not stake but can pick up those transactions for usable balance. Is this possible?

What options would I have for creating an android wallet for PayCon? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=937480.0

What do you charge for fees of services?
