same here, and it's not just ledger or trezor or any other wallet (hardware or software), it's best to never use the in wallet swap feature unless you know for sure they are using a DEX. as they all pretty much rely on changelly, changenow, n.exchange, etc... to do the swaps. Man, I really miss eXch. that, or they just didn't exchange a high enough amount to trigger KYC, or some of their stupid AML checks by sending "dirty" coins.
One of them exchanged pretty decent amount (mid 5 figure, from ETH to sUSDT ) but somehow it went through without KYC and no issues whatsoever so I guess it has to be dumb luck. After he saw some other people having issues with changelly, he didn't do it again.

If 98% of your portfoli is bitcoins, 2% for altcoins, it's posisble to store altcoins in many wallets like Metamask, Myetherwallet, and more. They are not safe like hardware wallets but if you don't want to store them in a same hardware wallet of bitcoins, don't want to store them in exchange accounts, it's your only method. I probably exaggarated a bit (percentage is probably 95% ), but I simply don't trust those hot wallets with anything more than $100-200$. If your fund is big, I don't see how you can not afford to spend money for purchasing a second hardware wallet that is used only for altcoin storage.
Hardware wallets are so cheap nowadays that I don't think anyone could have issues buying 2nd one, but its simply pain in the ass to have to deal with that one as well. At least it is for me (maybe I am just lazy).

I was actually quite confident when my opponent had anybody else to win because the probability for that is actually quite low.
My thought exactly when I saw that my opponent went with that answer as well. I mean, out of 16 races this year, either Norris or Piastri won 13, so going with one of them made more sense. Hopefully one of them wins tomorrow (preferably Piastri, which would secure me at least a draw).

Nice catch! Its a pretty old tactic, but you have to have some brain to do it properly without getting caught so early. What do you think about a red tag (or at least a neutral tag)?
Neutral for now is enough imho, as I don't see they shared merit. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone gives them red tag. If you may know, Camila is a close relation of mineand we stay together, am just new to the platform and I receive guidance from her, we are artist, and we wish to spread the beauty of art. She shows me how to make quality Post and she even makes some for me, am still learning, and she replys to a few when we are together, just so you know
Cool story bro. The op could be 100% right and I am not disputing that could be the case here, but I would like to say(just to be fair) that in some communities, especially in 3rd world countries, it is possible that these folks are related in some way and helping each other out. Whether it be family, lovers, cousins, roommates, or whatever. You guys have seen the image of all the people in the office working together on bounties or whatever.
That's true, but abusers and scammers used that explanation so many times that even when something like that actually happens (as I am sure it does) no one will believe it anymore. Tough luck.

When I wanted to transfer some alts that I had stored on them (X) I couldn't do it until I upgraded the firmware to the latest version which took a little longer because I was 3 or 4 firmwares behind. Hm, I didn't have those issues so far as I am also avoiding updating. Then again, I had S and not X version so maybe that's why. If you need something to store alts, I recommend the latest version of Trezor, and if you want something just for Bitcoin, you can't go wrong with Foundation Passport. You can order both devices at PO Box (tested personally) so you don't have to worry about your personal data being leaked.Yo
Even though like 98% of my portfolio is BTC, I would still like to be able to store alts as well. Another solution could be having 2x HW, but that's also hassle. J You can order both devices at PO Box (tested personally) so you don't have to worry about your personal data being leaked. Yep, that's the way I plan to do it when I buy the next HW as I learned my lesson from Ledger leak (I was one of those who bought it directly from them).
|
|
|
And for exactly that reason I never exchanged anything directly on Ledger, even though some of my friends did and they had no problems.
It was probably just dumb luck on their part that verything went fine without any hassle.

What the hell hapened tooday during formula 1 qualifications as I see that Norris will start at 7th while Piastri at 9th. Its gonna take a miracle for either one of them to win the race tomorrow. Then again, stranger things have happened.

I don't know of any registered, official, licensed exchanges that function without KYC though. I don't know whether they are fully licensed, registered etc, but I heard good things about BingX, which still doesn't have mandatory KYC. I personally haven't tried it though, but I do believe those people who are using. And even if they're without KYC right now, within the year they will likely switch to full KYC (as KuCoin is doing, by charging a fee for the absence of KYC)
Yep, that's what waiting for us in the near future, all non kyc centralized exchanges slowly going for full KYC.

We know that Bitcoin is currently in a volatile market, which is why we have seen Bitcoin fluctuate between 112k and 116k for several weeks. Which is why many Bitcoin investors are confused about accumulating more Bitcoin. I mean should they buy Bitcoin at this time? You have to be very new to all this if you think that bitcoin going between 112k and 116k range is volatile. Do you think it would be right for me to buy Bitcoin at this time? I am waiting for your comments.
For someone like you (not very experienced), probably the best investment strategy is dollar cost average method, in which you buy certain amount of bitcoin on the regular basis, no matter the price. That way you will avoid the standard mistake of trying to time the market.

When it comes to which board you should post, you could post in many sections including Bitcoin Discussion.
You might wanna read again what OP is actually talking about, because your advice will get him getting his posts deleted.

Phew, I survived City vs Napoli game, despite them loosing. Don't worry Rikafip. I am 1-4 behind Koal-84 and you will probably stay at the first place of the table even if you lose in this round. Yeah I saw that you are not doing good this round, but there are enough different answers left for you to turn this around. At the same time, I am keeping an eye on the rest of the gang that is fighting for the promotion.

So funds are still stuck there? Or later they have enabled withdrawal? Nah, they eventually unfroze my account and I immediately got the money out. Account After a lot of conversation through their support system and making a sound on social media, they had released my funds. Same here. I kept pressuring them all over the place, and in the end their support on reddit expedite my case and sorted things out in a matter of hours, while I have been waiting for more than a month. So, when they want they can really sort things out, but I guess they just like to fuck around with their users. So what's your account status right now? The account is fine now, its just that I stopped using it.

Ffs, Di Lorenzo just got red the card, and I doubt that Napoli can do what Pafos did last night vs Olympiacos. Not a good situation for me at all this round.

I've noticed that very few people truly understand Bitcoin or see what I see in it. I've always wondered why it's so hard for people to grasp the essence of Bitcoin. Yesterday, I came across a really good video that explains why it's so difficult for people to understand Bitcoin.
It's simply too big of a paradigm shift.
Most people don’t even understand how fiat money works. They use dollars/euros/whatever but if you ask them what actually backs it, where it comes from, or how inflation eats away at it, you’ll get no answer. So it’s no surprise that they don’t understand Bitcoin either. If people can’t take the time to question something they have been using their whole life, why would they bother to learn about something new, decentralized, and borderless? Imho, it’s all about about the effort.

Why creating a thread to ask such a question, I really don't understand your motive for this because if you really want to fine an answer to this you would have simply go to Google and ask Google and an answer will be provided for you. Let's stop asking questions and creating new threads on bitcointalk alltogether and instead just googling it. Let's see how that affects the forum.

Your previous problem was solved (albeit with a waste of time), your account is completely "cleaned" of suspicions, and moreover, this is your favorite exchanger. Who is to say that the same problem won't happen again, Binance freezing his funds because they don't like from where some crypto came from. And just because it was his favorite exchange, doesn't mean that he should ignore all the previous issues. Binance was my favorite exchange as well, but they pestered me several times, with the last time dsiabling my withdrawals for no obvious reason for more than a month, after which I stopped using them alltogether. The incident that happened to you is not an indicator that this exchanger is not trustworthy, but rather the opposite, that this platform monitors the " purity" of transactions, and moreover, their support still works (although not so quickly ). Its indicator of future problems, because they won't stop at that.
@The Cryptovator if I am you, I wouldn't touch them with ten foot pole.

The under was looking so good for Q1 until both teams decided to drop 4 goals each in the second half. First half was so boring that I simply stopped watching it and went out for a run. It was quite a surprise when I came back and saw that I actually won a point there. This was secodn time in a row that I didn't watch Juve game until the end, and 2nd time this kind of shit hapening. How did Liverpool manage to secure the win again?
Who the fuck nows? I see they started calling it Slot-age time. Dunno why (I never had animosity towards Liverpool) but I am getting slightly annoyed by it.

The only advantage of a hardware device is that it supports multiple coins Another one (and the reason why they are so popular) is ease of use. Cold storage on a newer hard drive has a much longer lifespan than a hardware wallet device, which has an 8-year or shorter lifespan. Like Ledger Nano. I heard that most users had power issues after three years of not using it. My ledger is exactly 8 years old now. I didn't have power issues as of yet, but screen is dying for the last 6 months or so. Its a perfect excuse to finally move from ledger and finally got something decent but simply can't decide what to buy.

so when a team drops points against a team like pafos it really calls for concerns. Pafis is actually a quite decent team. I was also suspicious of them, but then I saw their games vs Red Star in the CL playoffs and realized that they are serious team that could cause some upsets. Having said that (and having watched the game last night), I did expect from Olympiacos to win after Pafos got an early red card, but we all saw how it ended.
Just to say hi to all fans of Greek football. Since I am fan of Dinamo Zagreb, no surprise that when it comes to greek football, I am fan of Panathinaikos as well.
