Do they have internet in North Korea?
Of course they do, but its only available for a selected few.

Something definitely stinks in all this, and I would say that some suspicious games are involved, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were some money laundering schemes.
The same thought crossed my mind as well, but then again there must be an easier way to launder money other than faking hacks so I am inclined to believe that in thend end its all just a matter of incompetence.

662  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [V2] Big List of Crypto Debit Cards on: November 13, 2023, 11:43:32 AM
Is it just me or spend.com is completely down and therefore one of those defunct services? I keep getting the Origin DNS error.
Website doesn't work for me neither/

I just checked some of the cards and spend.com not the only website that is not forking as for example bitplastic.com domain is up for sale and few other website are not working (or links are broken) so  NotATether will have to go though the whole lust and remove those that are not available anymore.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 Oscar Awards bets and discussions on: November 13, 2023, 10:48:21 AM
It was not staged. Did everyone see Chris Rock's counterattack in his newest stand up special? It was very brutally truthful. Everyone should watch it. He was also premiering it in the town where his wife grew up.
That's what people do now, spread all sorts of conspiracy theories out of ignorance.

By the way, I finally saw Oppenheimer and while its a decent movie, I really don't understand the hype around it and especially I don't see a reason for it being a favorite to for a Best Picture. At least two movies (that will probably end up among nomineed) I saw this year were clearly superior (Past Lives and Anatomy of a Fall) and I still have to watch Killers Of The Flowers Moon.

First of all, welcome to the forum. If you stay on for the ride I am sure you will change your opinion over a period of time and I hope you build up your accounts while you contribute positively to the forum and end up joining a well paying signature campaign.
That guy is on the forum since 2014 so he is hardly new.

lots of random words i dont understand
You just described your own topic so please be more coherent when starting one so we actually know waht you are talking about.
665  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can anyone help me please to withdraw money from my blocked Binance account? on: November 12, 2023, 03:52:34 PM
OP seems to deal in selling accounts, he has two disputes over forums in less than 48 hours about people not getting their account after paying (of course it doesn't mean that the accusations are true), but it could be that those have complained to Binance about it since he does receive payments for the accounts in crypto and Binance pay.
Hm, from where you got that info that he is selling accounts because so far he mad eonly one post with this account, and that's the one where he created this topic, and I don't see his name being mentioned by anyone else regarding those accusations.

Binance has a very tight security and strict rules and if they have blocked your account or frozen your coins then it must be for a reason.
Binance (and any other centralized exchange/platform) can block you account for myriad of bullshit reasons and they can even block it for no reason at all so just because they blocked someon's account doesn't mean that person did anything wrong. Btw, i am not saying that's what happened here, just that Binance can do whatever they want and there's very little that you can do if they decide to screw you.

666  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary Members Spread Completely Fake Information - Merit System Do Not Work on: November 12, 2023, 03:41:45 PM
Hah, I didn't know that this topic is still alive.

I think the OP has ulterior motives for creating this thread therefore I would not bother giving him attention beyond this post.
While I aggree that he doesn't deserve attention that he is getting, I disagree on ulterior motive part. This topic is reult of OP's ignorance, and its not the only nonse topic that he created in these last few months since he registered here.
667  Other / Meta / Re: So I had a person send me a pm to beg for merits. on: November 12, 2023, 09:18:21 AM
Looks like merits are becoming more popular than they seem to have been for the past year or so.  I was beginning to wonder why members weren't as obsessed with ranking up like they always were.
I think that members finally realized how easy is to farm merit after theymos did merit readjustment ~2 years ago (before that it was much harder to get merit) so they started creating alts and submitting their "work" in those merit topics on a more massive scale than before.
668  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Motivation for Beginners, @Bitcointalk.org Users on: November 10, 2023, 10:40:35 PM
Lol... It's actually funny when I see posts like this.
How would anyone not consider your post to be AI generated when you induce too many color and unnecessary paintings in your writing?
While OP most likely used Al tool in some of his previous posts, I don't think that's the case with this post as well.

AI written posts are usually written in a native speaker level of English and that's simply not the case here. After all, he admitted that he wrote that post in his native language first and then used Google translate.
669  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex hacked, $100M+ stolen on: November 10, 2023, 09:59:36 PM
Surprisingly, The market is not heavily affected anymore on this kind of hack especially now that we on a bullish momentum. Typically, this kind of news is already being use to FUD the market yet crypto market is behaving as usual without any trace of FUD.
That just tells you how relevant Poloniex is at the moment. With that being said, I don't think that any exchanges getting hacked other than Coinbase and Binance would affect the market, and it would have to be a big amount of money stolen.

If I am not mistaken, this is the second platform linked to Justin Sun to be hacked in less than 90 days, and again he is offering a 5% white hat bounty agreement if they return the stolen funds within the next seven days.
Yep. According to him, hackers gave back money stolen from HTX but since there is no way to prove and he is known bullshitter, I tend not to believe him. Who the hells what is going over there.
670  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can anyone help me please to withdraw money from my blocked Binance account? on: November 10, 2023, 09:52:35 PM
Since you came to bitcointalk to ask for help, why don't you share all relevant information here instead giving your Discord info and wanting to continue conversation there? I am telling you this because it looks very dodgy and the fiurst thought that will come to people's head is that this is some kind of scam attempt.

Let's say for the sake of argument that your request is legit, no one can help you getting money out of your account expect yourself and if anyone contacts you telling that he has connections in Binance, its a scam.
671  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: November 10, 2023, 02:43:51 PM

Izvor https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/former-nyse-president-in-talks-to-reboot-ftx-exchange/ar-AA1jB2fy?ocid=finance-verthp-feeds

U ostalim vijestima, Poloniex je danas hackiran te je steta za sada najmanje 100 milijuna dolara a kao i u slucaju nedavnog HTX (bivsi Huobi) hacka Justin Sun nudi bounty.

Crypto wallet belonging to the digital asset exchange Poloniex has experienced suspicious outflows, as seen on blockchain explorer Etherscan. Blockchain security firms believe that the company was breached, leading to as much as $100 million in crypto being drained by the attackers.

On Nov. 10, millions of crypto assets were transferred from an account labeled Poloniex 4 on Etherscan. Initial estimates of the losses were around $60 million. However, it was later determined that over $100 million was taken by the attackers.

According to blockchain security firm CertiK, the incident was likely a “private key compromise.” The security firm also noted that the funds have already been transferred to four externally owned accounts, with some accounts being swapped into Ether
672  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex hacked, $100M+ stolen on: November 10, 2023, 02:12:43 PM
The latest articles are now saying it's +100M $[1]
Huh, amount stoleni ncreased quiet a bit. At the moment I shared the news number was $18.5M which I then edited to $50M and if I have to guess i would say that $100M is not the final amount.

and Justin is now offering a 5% bounty to the hacker
Iirc he did the same for that recent HTX hack and allegedly it worked.

A bit off-topic but am I the only one who remembers very low trading volumes (even after shutting down and relaunching)? According to CoinGecko, the exchange now has ~500M/24h. I find that very hard to believe for an exchange that you barely see any mention of anymore.
All exchanges bullshit about their trading volume to some degree so yeah, that number indeed seems unrealistically high.

As usual, stop using exchanges as wallets.
As usual, those who do that won't change their habits, even if they have money on Poloniex and can't get it out at the moment.
673  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: About 3Aex Platform on: November 10, 2023, 11:28:49 AM
"I received an introduction to this site from a friend I met in a chat.
Rule of thumb: someone you meet online recommends you a great investment site=scam. Let me guess, you met that person on a dating site?

Additionally, my friend insists that I need to pay a fee to withdraw the funds. I'm not sure what to do.
The only thing that you can do now is to accept the loss and not send them any more money as the only thing that will happen if you send them more money is that you will end up losing even more. Too bad that you didn't try the site with less money instead going immediately with 40k, but it is what it is now.
674  Economy / Exchanges / Poloniex hacked, $100M+ stolen on: November 10, 2023, 11:19:24 AM
There is a rumour spreading on twitter that Poloniex wallet has been drained of at least 50+ million USD and counting.

https://twitter.com/peckshield/status/1722931275764474329

So far there is no official confirmation but few minutes ago Poloniex announced that their wallet has been disabled for the "maintenance" so it might be that something dodgy has been going on.

Our wallet has been disabled for maintenance. We will update this thread once the wallet has been re-enabled.

edit: Just Sun confirmed that Poloniex has been indeed hacked.

675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: November 09, 2023, 08:08:47 PM
Dinamo have a chance to pass both Astana and Balkani since they got a draw vs each other but of course we know how bad the team is right now.
Yep, Astana vs Balkani draw is the best possible outcome for Dinamo so now eveyrthing is up to them. If they win next two games they are 2nd, and 4 points might be enough if other two teams don't beat Viktoria who secured first position.

Either way, Dinamo fans don't really care much (myself included) about Conference League anymore since and many even want for Dinamo get kicked out of it so they can focus on national championship which is priority at the moment and might be harder than ever to win it.
676  Other / Meta / Re: People commenting on the first page without having read the previous posts. on: November 09, 2023, 05:49:11 PM
Yeah, it happens a lot especially in Altcoins board.
It happens a lot everywhere because people here are generally not really interested in discussion and instead just leaving their opinion on the matter and moving on another topic. Rinse and repeat until weekly quota has been met.

How did you determine this? Do you have psychic abilities or did that poster admit it himself?
OP doesn't need psychic abilities to figure that out, at least not for the most obvious cases. For example, every time you see someone asking something that has been already answered in previous posts, you can be pretty sure that he only read OP and pretty much nothing else.

Buddy, you are overdoing it again. Just behave normal and everything will be fine.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 Oscar Awards bets and discussions on: November 09, 2023, 05:21:02 PM
Keep in mind, these awards were consistently losing relevance and public until something as unhinged as that happened and became viral.
Incident from last year won't make it any more popular or relevant. On the other hand, what will make it more relevant is when they finally stop to push their agenda but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I think it will win very easily, the others do not have a chance, if I can see it in any of my favorite places, I will certainly wager, anything 2.00 or above will be great to bet, under that and it's too guaranteed and would not feel like it would worth the risk to wager on it.
Well, if you are 100% sure that it will win the award, then it shoulnd't matter for you to bet on it even if odds are below 2. Also, even though Oppenheimer is the favorite at the moment, many things can still change and Napoleon hasn't been released yet and that's another one that many expect to end up getting nominated.
679  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Motivation for Beginners, @Bitcointalk.org Users on: November 09, 2023, 05:07:21 PM
Buddy, you registered 10 days ago and already giving advice to other newbie members so your post will be seen nothing other than a merit fishing attempt, and a pretty bad one.

My advice to you is to focus on an actual conversations with other members (as that's the main purpsoe of forum) and merit will come.
680  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Jesmo li pronašli Fxsurfera& Antikvarka? on: November 09, 2023, 11:22:03 AM
Kako to misliš?
