881  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: October 04, 2023, 10:30:14 AM
@Rikafip: if you want to hide the addresses, you should hide the ORDER number too. Or click "Remove data". And the exact amount makes it easy to find too.
Cheers, updated. But tbh, I wasn't really trying too hard to hide it either so no real harm done.
882  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: October 04, 2023, 09:46:16 AM
So, since I needed some LTC and had to test eXch, this was a perfect opportunity to give it a go. First time with smaller amount though just to see how things work.

Process is pretty simple and straightforward, as I entered the currency I want to exchange (BTC), the amount I want to change and currency I need (LTC).  I clicked on "calculate" to see the amount I was supposed to get and since everything looked ok, I proceeded with the exchange.

I sent the bitcoin to designated BTC address (since I wasn't in a hurry I used low fee), 5-6 minutes later BTC arrived to eXch address and few minutes more passed before LTC appeared in my wallet. Easy peasy.

Overall it was a straighforward and fast experience (tbh faster than I thought it will be) and I don't think that even total newbs could have any issues with the procedure  (at least I couldn't see them). One thing I would like to see is support for more popular alts like for example BNB which is popular and often used on the market.

Anyway, I will definitely use it again!
883  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance card with EUR deposits disabled on: October 04, 2023, 07:00:45 AM

So my question is, do you still plan on using the Binance debit card now that EUR deposits on binance.com are down?
I (and probably many others) won't be able to use Binance card for much longer, but not because of that.

Thing is, few months ago Binance lost its card provider for Europe so that means no new cards are issued to their EU customers and since my card expires in a few months, that effectively means that I won't be able to get a new one.
884  Economy / Reputation / Re: This forum is just for high rank member on: October 04, 2023, 06:50:24 AM
Just because I sent some bitcoin to your wallet does not imply that we are connected. It happens all the time on the gaming board with our side bets.
So you are comparing publically discused side bets between known members of gambling board who even leave neutral feedbacks about it, with bunch of Newbie accounts that spam bounty campaigns and nothing else and are notorious for having alt farms? GG.

For your information, there are Bounty whales who buy these shitty tokens from bounty hunters for God knows what and this scenerior you just described happens all the time
I am well aware of bounty whales, but that address has 69 transactions in the last 6 months, meaning not really looking like someone who is buying out shitcoins en masse. On top of that, all those members keep sending tokens between themselves.

Another proof that there is something dodgy going on, previously tagged bounty abuser @shanto sending BNB between some familar names, and also to previously mentioned main address. Another coinkydink?

which is why you always need to back it up with social media links to ensure it's more than just a Blockchain transaction. Believe it or not.
No you don't always need to back it up with social media links, believe it or not. Take for example this report made by a very experienced member (way more than you or me) when it comes to busting alts. He busted 7 accounts only by proving that they all sent tokens to the same address, and you can find many more similar reports by other members.

This conversation is leading nowhere
Well that's something that we can agree on.
885  Economy / Reputation / Re: This forum is just for high rank member on: October 03, 2023, 08:02:36 PM
I saw the images and noticed the transactions, but what exactly does it prove? Couples of some junky bounty hunters may be victims of this without realising it
How can they be victims without realising? Someone took control of their wallets and sent tokens to the exact same address?

the most important thing is to determine whether these accounts also share social media links and whether they are abusing bounty job.
Use of the same social media links is irrelevant here since there is blockchain evidence, and it was already proved by OP that accounts in question applied for the same bounty campaign.

At this point I am not sure if you are trolling me or just ignorant how these things work, but I will assume the latter and give it one more try.

These transactions (as seen in the screenshot in my previous post) show that its most likely the same person behind all those accounts (or you think that its the coincidence that 3 different accounts send tokens to the same address in a matter of 3 minutes)  as that's what they do, gather tokens they get via bounty campaign and then send it to the main wallet, from which then they send it further, usually to an exchange. In this case, this farmer sent the money he made to Binance.

If the OP wants to be taken seriously, he should put in some effort and present something that the mod can work with.
Mods don't deal with altcoin bounty abuse as for now that's what we are talking about here. Unless someone provides proof of ban evading as well. But I do agree that those who report these kind of stuff should put some effort into it, so others don't have to dig for proper evidence.
886  Economy / Reputation / Re: This forum is just for high rank member on: October 03, 2023, 07:36:58 PM
There will always be a difference between when a reputable person reports an account with proof and when a nobody newbie does; you have to be around here for a long time to know what's good or bad and how to report it, not just speculate.
The only difference is whether you are capable of providing the evidence in a way so everyone can easily check it out and if it does, it will be accepted no matter from where it came.

The OP is throwing mud at the wall and hoping it sticks.
Multiple accounts is allowed, and off-forum transactions do not prove anything. Op may not know this.
Have you bothered to check his claims? I did and what I found is that those 5 accounts indeed sent tokens to the same address (0x9759d20AaCA9fd385CE081D9C0181a032fe2eC4A)  and 3 of them at basically the same time which means that they are most likely part of alt farm and chances are that more accounts can be found but tbh I got sick of that whack a mole game so not gonna bother finding them.

Here's the evidence, since OP wasn't able to do it in a proper way. What he doesn't know though is that at best these accounts can be tagged for abusing bounty campaign rules and that's about it, unless there's some evidence for ban evading which I also wouldn't be surprised if someone finds.

887  Other / Meta / Re: Request: New Local Board for Pakistan (Urdu) on: October 03, 2023, 07:10:13 PM
I just checked the two days merit shared data manually for 29/30 September and found that 16 merits were shared. So by adding these 16 merits, the effective merits shared in the month of September becomes 374.
You just checked posts written in the last two days (September 29th and September 30th) to see how miuch merit they got, right?

I am asking because you would have to check all posts written last month in order to get correct number because some post from lets say September 10th might have been merited on September 30th and you would have missed it if you only checked those last few days, or post from September 29th might have been merited on October 2nd which then doesn't count towards September. For that reason its best to wait for Friday and check Merit Dashboard to get exact numbers.
888  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: October 03, 2023, 05:39:28 PM
Eto nam jos jedne solidne kampanje [OPEN] Cryptoplay.io Signature Campaign | Full Member+.

889  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kutak za kulturni trenutak (filmovi, serije, knjige etc) on: October 03, 2023, 05:25:59 PM
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4495098/

Cheesy

890  Other / Meta / Re: Request: New Local Board for Pakistan (Urdu) on: October 03, 2023, 02:42:50 PM
With that said, here we are with another amazing month. Again Our member Hamza2424 come up with some interesting facts and figures of our local board for the month of September.
Since he published those charts today, I can tell you that he is missing merits shared for the last two days, September 29 and 30th meaning your numbers are probably even higher (unless there was no merits shared during that period). Thing is, Ddmrddmr updates his Merit Dashboard every Friday, and since last Friday was on September 29th, that means merit data for September is not complete.

So, what I would suggest him is to wait until this Friday (October 6th) so he can get total amount of merits shared during last month.
891  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Binance on: October 03, 2023, 12:36:28 PM
Nije mi problem KYC. Coinbase ima svoju virtualnu ili fizičku karticu?
Imaju i jedno i drugo. Jedan frend koristi njihovu fizicku karticu godinama (tj bar ju je koristio prije par mjeseci kad smo zadnji put pricali o tome) i koliko sam skuzio do sada nije imao nikakvih problema tako da je i to jedna od opcija a koliko se sjecam kad sam zadnji put gledao, imaju razumne feejeve a i limiti nisu mali.

892  Economy / Reputation / Re: This forum is just for high rank member on: October 03, 2023, 11:25:32 AM
Why is the mod going to believe someone who registered on the forum a few days ago and his first and only post on the forum is "alt accounts post"? It took a genuine newbie some time before playing forum cop. I guaranteed you that the OP's main account was busted and that he is currently simply witch hunting.
While you might be right right about OP being butthurt that he got busted, I don't think that there should be any difference whether Newbie or Legendary account reported someone, as long proper evidence is provided (for example, use of the same address). Mods should focus on the evidence and not who reported it.

893  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Binance on: October 03, 2023, 11:17:47 AM

A ako zelis izbjegnuti KYC, onda direktno P2P trejdanje preko balkanske Telegram grupe (https://t.me/KriptovaluteTelegram), samo bih u tom slucaju preporucio iskljucivo trejdanje uzivo.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's first tweet since 2018? on: October 03, 2023, 10:34:15 AM
I have a feeling that this may not be Satoshi, but then we shall see in coming weeks or months.
It may not be? Buddy, whoever is behind that Twitter account is 100% not Satoshi Nakamoto himself. That account was created in 2018, and do you really belive that there is a chance satoshi would come back after being awol for 8 years and start writing on Twitter instead coming here?

My guess is that it could be CSW behind that, or some similar troll.

895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop discouraging people from Bitcoin... on: October 03, 2023, 10:11:02 AM
So when you see a newbie ask for advice on how to start up on their journey in Bitcoin trading, don't try to discourage them, rather give them the advice on how they can start, and also let them be aware of the risks and how to avoid it. If we must grow the community, then we have to learn to encourage everyone to get along, and not try to discourage them.
Well that's how forums work, you ask something and people answer you, based on what they think is right. And it is a fact that vast majorify of people would have more bitcoin if they just hold what they have, instead of trying to increase it by trading. To be a successful trader you need years of practice and a lot of money spent and that's not something that an average trader is willing to do. Instead, they try trading for few months, lose money and probably never come back so why even start at the first place?

Bitcoin is for everyone, and no one should be left behind.
What trading has to do with it?
896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto lender Celsius mulls possible restructuring amid financial woes on: October 03, 2023, 09:08:22 AM
A little bit of good news for all those that have money stuck at Celsius as that they plan to start repaying its customers by the end of 2023, if approved by court and regulators. It is planned to be only partial repayment though, but at this point I guess they will take anything (at least that's what my friends that hve money there tell me).

897  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: October 03, 2023, 09:03:46 AM
SBF is threatened with 115 years in prison as stated by @Watch.guru.

What happens if SBF does receive such a long prison sentence?
Well, since he 31 years old at the moment, that would mean that he will spend rest of his life in prison.  Cheesy While I woulnd't mind see it happening, I really doubt he is going to get that kind of sentence as imho its more realistic that he admits the guilt and gets reduced sentence.

Then again, Bernie Madoff got 150 years for his ponzie scheme so you never know.

898  Economy / Reputation / Re: This forum is just for high rank member on: October 03, 2023, 08:44:45 AM
why not member does not take newbie report seriosly. Why allow newbie to register. banned all newbie so you big member free, check below and bann all account
From what I can see, that report was made less than 2 days ago and just because those accounts were not yet banned you come here with this nonsense claim. Smh...

Fyi, it doesn't really matter who made a report, as long as its properly written with all the evidence needed so its easier for mods to look through the evidence.
899  Other / Meta / Re: What is the best way to embed image in Bitcointalk.. on: October 02, 2023, 03:17:33 PM
One of bitcointalk members launched image hosting site after imgur stopped working, TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk which is the one I would recommend, just keep in mind that you can use it for bitcointalk only.

Alternatively, you can also use https://imgbb.com/ or https://postimages.org/ (this is the one I use for the other sites).
900  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Mixin hack! CEO Begs Hackers To Return Funds and Take $20m Reward on: October 02, 2023, 03:11:14 PM

So what's wrong if they get hold of $20M of the people's money and say they give it to the hackers (the mixin owners at the backend), return the $180M back to the network and resume the service?
Do you think that ruining one's reputaion is worth measly $20 million? Yeah I said "measly" because I read somewhere that they had in control ~$1 billion, meaning ruining that kind of business for $20M doesn't make any sense to me.

Keep in mind that this hack will affect their business as many will get the money out as soon as withdrawals are available again.
